[目的]为降低市域铁路列车运行过程中的牵引能耗,须改变信号系统既有的固定限速节能运行策略,研究基于真实工况和实际运行曲线的动态节能优化方法。[方法]介绍了固定限速节能运行策略、动态节能运行优化策略的计算理论,分析了固定限速节能策略在实际工程应用中的弊端。以温州市域铁路S2线工程为例,对2种策略下的列车运行速度曲线、牵引/制动曲线进行了数值模拟仿真。在S2线路区间上选用同一列车开展了多次空载动车运行测试,将实测数据和仿真数据进行对比分析,以验证仿真数据的实际节能效果。[结果及结论]所提的动态节能运行优化策略具有较高的应用价值。与既有的固定限速节能运行策略相比,动态节能运行优化策略下的列车运行速度曲线更为平滑,乘客乘坐舒适度更高,牵引能耗更低,列车的区间运行时间更短。 展开更多

Schlieren imaging is a widely used technique to visualize the structure of supersonic flow field,which is usually dominated by shock waves.Precise identification of shock waves in schlieren image provides critical insights for flow diagnostics,especially for supersonic inlet whose performance is highly associated with that of the whole flight.However,conventional shock wave identification methods have limited accuracy in segmenting the shock wave.To overcome the limitation,we proposed an automated shock wave identification method(SW-Segment)that can attain high resolution and automatic shock wave segmentation by integrating correlation-based feature extraction with graph search.We demonstrated the efficacy of SW-Segment via the identification of shock waves in simulatively and experimentally obtained schlieren image.The results proved that SW-Segment showed a shock wave identification accuracy of 95.24%in the numerical schlieren image and an accuracy of 88.33%in the experimental image,clearly demonstrating its reliability.SW-Segment holds broad applicability for shock wave detection in diverse schlieren imaging scenarios,offering robust data support for flow field analysis and supersonic flight design. 展开更多

Automation and intelligence have become the primary trends in the design of investment casting processes.However,the design of gating and riser systems still lacks precise quantitative evaluation criteria.Numerical simulation plays a significant role in quantitatively evaluating current processes and making targeted improvements,but its limitations lie in the inability to dynamically reflect the formation outcomes of castings under varying process conditions,making real-time adjustments to gating and riser designs challenging.In this study,an automated design model for gating and riser systems based on integrated parametric 3D modeling-simulation framework is proposed,which enhances the flexibility and usability of evaluating the casting process by simulation.Firstly,geometric feature extraction technology is employed to obtain the geometric information of the target casting.Based on this information,an automated design framework for gating and riser systems is established,incorporating multiple structural parameters for real-time process control.Subsequently,the simulation results for various structural parameters are analyzed,and the influence of these parameters on casting formation is thoroughly investigated.Finally,the optimal design scheme is generated and validated through experimental verification.Simulation analysis and experimental results show that using a larger gate neck(24 mm in side length) and external risers promotes a more uniform temperature distribution and a more stable flow state,effectively eliminating shrinkage cavities and enhancing process yield by 15%. 展开更多

VMFD:Virtual Meetings Fatigue Detector Using Eye Polygon Area and Dlib Shape Indicator

Numerous sectors,such as education,the IT sector,and corporate organizations,transitioned to virtual meetings after the COVID-19 crisis.Organizations now seek to assess participants’fatigue levels in online meetings to remain competitive.Instructors cannot effectively monitor every individual in a virtual environment,which raises significant concerns about participant fatigue.Our proposed system monitors fatigue,identifying attentive and drowsy individuals throughout the online session.We leverage Dlib’s pre-trained facial landmark detector and focus on the eye landmarks only,offering a more detailed analysis for predicting eye opening and closing of the eyes,rather than focusing on the entire face.We introduce an Eye Polygon Area(EPA)formula,which computes eye activity from Dlib eye landmarks by measuring the polygonal area of the eye opening.Unlike the Eye Aspect Ratio(EAR),which relies on a single distance ratio,EPA adapts to different eye shapes(round,narrow,or wide),providing a more reliable measure for fatigue detection.The VMFD system issues a warning if a participant remains in a fatigued condition for 36 consecutive frames.The proposed technology is tested under multiple scenarios,including low-to high-lighting conditions(50-1400 lux)and both with and without glasses.This study builds an OpenCV application in Python,evaluated using the iBUG 300-W dataset,achieving 97.5%accuracy in detecting active participants.We compare VMFD with conventional methods relying on the EAR and show that the EPA technique performs significantly better. 展开更多

The determination and optimization of Automatic Train Operation(ATO) control strategy is one of the most critical technologies for urban rail train operation. The practical ATO optimal control strategy must consider many goals of the train operation, such as safety, accuracy, comfort, energy saving and so on. This paper designs a set of efficient and universal multi-objective control strategy. Firstly, based on the analysis of urban rail transit and its operating environment, the multi-objective optimization model considering all the indexes of train operation is established by using multi-objective optimization theory. Secondly, Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II(NSGA-II) is used to solve the model, and the optimal speed curve of train running is generated.Finally, the intelligent controller is designed by the combination of fuzzy controller algorithm and the predictive control algorithm, which can control and optimize the train operation in real time. Then the robustness of the control system can ensure and the requirements for multi-objective in train operation can be satisfied. 展开更多

Despite the recent development in radiometric dating of numerous zircons by LA-ICPMS, mineral separation still remains a major obstacle, particularly in the search for the oldest material on Earth. To improve the efficiency in zircon separation by an order of magnitude, we have designed/developed a new machine-an automatic zircon separator(AZS). This is designed particularly for automatic pick-up of100 μm-sized zircon grains out of a heavy mineral fraction after conventional separation procedures. The AZS operates in three modes:(1) image processing to choose targeted individual zircon grains out of all heavy minerals spread on a tray,(2) automatic capturing of the individual zircon grains with microtweezers, and(3) placing them one-by-one in a coordinated alignment on a receiving tray. The automatic capturing was designed/created for continuous mineral selecting without human presence for many hours. This software also enables the registration of each separated zircon grain for dating, by recording digital photo-image, optical(color) indices, and coordinates on a receiving tray. We developed two new approaches for the dating; i.e.(1) direct dating of zircons selected by LA-ICPMS without conventional resin-mounting/polishing,(2) high speed U-Pb dating, combined with conventional sample preparation procedures using the new equipment with multiple-ion counting detectors(LA-MIC-ICPMS).With the first approach, Pb-Pb ages obtained from the surface of a mineral were crosschecked with the interior of the same grain after resin-mounting/polishing. With the second approach, the amount of time required for dating one zircon grain is ca. 20 s, and a sample throughput of 〉150 grains per hour can be achieved with sufficient precision(ca. 0.5%).We tested the practical efficiency of the AZS, by analyzing an Archean Jack Hills conglomerate in Western Australia with the known oldest(〉4.3 Ga) zircon on Earth. Preliminary results are positive; we were able to obtain more than 194 zircons that are over 4.0 Ga out of ca. 3800 checked grains, and 9 grains were over 4300 Ma with the oldest at 4371 ± 7 Ma. This separation system by AZS, combined with the new approaches, guarantees much higher yield in the hunt for old zircons. 展开更多

Excitation regulator has played an important role to ensure that generator run safely and stably. However, in some remote areas, the rural small generator excitation control system is very backward, and it has hindered the development of Chinese agriculture and the pace of new countryside construction. This paper introduced a kind of structure and basic principle of DSP-based automatic excitation regulator, which was applied to rural small generator. We chose TMS320LF2407A chip as the core of regulator control system; the regulator adjusted PWM based on PID control strategy to control the exciting current. The theoretical analysis showed that the regulator had the characteristics of simplicity and reliability, well dynamic and static characteristics, and it could also adjust its own state quickly. In this paper, a new method is proposed to scale F2 layer trace automatically from oblique ionogram based on morphological operator and inversion technique. This method is verified through the comparison of actual detecting data with statistical analysis. The results show that the proposed automatic scaling method has high acceptable rate and is suitable for scaling oblique ionogram with different high angle wave states. It is fast and precise to fit O-mode echoes in F2 layer without the influence from F1 layer. This method could be applied in real-time ionospheric oblique sounding research with high reliability and versatility. 展开更多

The mechanical structure of the manipulator includes a lifting device and a telescopic device. Using PLC control program, the control system can automatically achieve continuous beat actions of drawing and stacking for the processing raw materials. Power systems are pivotal in providing sustainable energy across various sectors.However,optimizing their performance to meet modern demands remains a significant challenge.This paper introduces an innovative strategy to improve the opti-mization of PID controllers within nonlinear oscillatory Automatic Generation Control(AGC)systems,essential for the stability of power systems.Our approach aims to reduce the integrated time squared error,the integrated time absolute error,and the rate of change in deviation,facilitating faster convergence,diminished overshoot,and decreased oscillations.By incorporating the spiral model from the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)into the Multi-Objective Marine Predator Algorithm(MOMPA),our method effectively broadens the diversity of solution sets and finely tunes the balance between exploration and exploitation strategies.Furthermore,the QQSMOMPA framework integrates quasi-oppositional learning and Q-learning to overcome local optima,thereby generating optimal Pareto solutions.When applied to nonlinear AGC systems featuring governor dead zones,the PID controllers optimized by QQSMOMPA not only achieve 14%reduction in the frequency settling time but also exhibit robustness against uncertainties in load disturbance inputs. 展开更多

京张高铁是我国第一条采用CTCS-3+ATO技术的高速铁路,2022年北京冬奥会举办后,运用部门针对ATO系统提出了一些问题,如车辆发生打滑时不能实施有效干预,通过车站节能不显著,崇礼站进站过程中牵引、制动切换频繁且存在晚点现象等。为解决... 京张高铁是我国第一条采用CTCS-3+ATO技术的高速铁路,2022年北京冬奥会举办后,运用部门针对ATO系统提出了一些问题,如车辆发生打滑时不能实施有效干预,通过车站节能不显著,崇礼站进站过程中牵引、制动切换频繁且存在晚点现象等。为解决上述问题,吸取优秀司机的驾驶经验,在滑行过程中不增加制动级位,避免大级位制动加剧打滑现象。滑行结束后,ATO采取提前制动降速策略,缓解车辆滑行影响;通过车站按照运行计划中最后车站的到达时间并结合地面发送的更多的线路数据计算节能控制曲线;进站速度按照60 km/h规划运行时分,收到侧线进站码后按照道岔实际限速控制列车运行。最后,在实验室搭建高铁ATO系统集成测试平台,对优化方案进行详细的测试验证。测试结果表明,提出的优化方案在检测到车辆发生打滑后,采用低级位制动减速控制列车运行,减少了因为施加高级位制动发生的打滑,更符合优秀司机的驾驶经验;优化后的ATO提高了通过车站的运行效率及系统的总体节能水平;崇礼站进站过程中不存在牵引、制动频繁切换,且到站时间与运行计划中的到达时间相比提前6 s。该优化方案合理、可行,满足运用部门提出的京张高铁系统运用需求。 展开更多

A method was developed for the detection of seven microcystins(microcystin-LR, RR, YR, LA, LY, LW and LF) in surface water using automatic solid-phase extraction(A-SPE) coupled with ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS). The automated solid-phase extraction system was used to extract microcystins(MCs) from water samples. UPLC-MS/MS was used to determine MCs concentrations in just 5 min. Method detection limits were from 0.3 to 0.9 ng/L, microcystin recoveries ranged from 83.8% to 114%, and the relative standard deviation(RSD) varied from 5.6% to 12.5%. This analytical approach was found to be simple, highly sensitive, accurate, which required little manual operation. Additionally, to validate this analytical method, A-SPE+UPLC-MS/MS was applied to characterize the concentration of MCs in Taihu Lake, Wuxi, China. 展开更多

The main idea of this system is to detect failure using current and voltage signals acquired without any type of internal interference in the generator operation. The detected failures could be mechanical or electrical origins, such as: problems in bearings, unwanted vibrations, partial discharges, misalignment, unbalancing, among others. It is possible because the generator acts as a transducer for mechanical problems, and they appear in current and voltage signals. This automatic system based on electric signature analysis has been installed in Itapebi Power Plant generators since 2012. Some results are presented in this paper. 展开更多
