Recent research has significantly contributed to multimodalinformation exchange and fusion, with many methods attempting to integrate unimodal features to generatemultimodal news representations. However, they still need to fully explore the hierarchical and complex semanticcorrelations between different modal contents, severely limiting their performance detecting multimodal falseinformation. This work proposes a two-stage detection framework for multimodal false information detection, called ASMFD, which is based on image aesthetic similarity to segment and explores the consistency andinconsistency features of images and texts. Specifically, we first use the Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training(CLIP) model to learn the relationship between text and images through label awareness and train an imageaesthetic attribute scorer using an aesthetic attribute dataset. Then, we calculate the aesthetic similarity betweenthe image and related images and use this similarity as a threshold to divide the multimodal correlation matrixinto consistency and inconsistencymatrices. Finally, the fusionmodule is designed to identify essential features fordetectingmultimodal false information. In extensive experiments on four datasets, the performance of the ASMFDis superior to state-of-the-art baseline methods.展开更多

文摘The disparity between the postoperative outcomes of rhinoplasty and the expected results frequently necessitates secondary or multiple surgeries as a compensatory measure, greatly diminishing patient satisfaction. However, there is renewed optimism for addressing these challenges through the innovative realm of Four-Dimensional(4D)printing.This groundbreaking technology enables three-dimensional objects with shape-memory properties to undergo predictable transformations under specific external stimuli.Consequently, implants crafted using 4D printing offer significant potential for dynamic adjustments.Inspired by worms in our research,we harnessed 4D printing to fabricate a Shape-Memory Polyurethane(SMPU)for use as a nasal augmentation prosthesis. The choice of SMPU was guided by its Glass Transition Temperature(Tg),which falls within the acceptable temperature range for the human body. This attribute allowed for temperature-responsive intraoperative self-deformation and postoperative remodeling. Our chosen animal model for experimentation was rabbits.Taking into account the anatomical structure of the rabbit nose,we designed and produced nasal augmentation prostheses with superior biocompatibility. These prostheses were then surgically implanted in a minimally invasive manner into the rabbit noses.Remarkably, they exhibited successful temperature-controlled in-surgery self-deformation according to the predetermined shape and non-invasive remodeling within a mere 9 days post-surgery.Subsequent histological evaluations confirmed the practical viability of these prostheses in a living organism. Our research findings posit that worm-inspired 4D-printed SMPU nasal prostheses hold significant promise for achieving dynamic aesthetic adjustments.
文摘With the explosive growth of false information on social media platforms, the automatic detection of multimodalfalse information has received increasing attention. In extensive experiments on four datasets, the performance of the ASMFDis superior to state-of-the-art baseline methods.
文摘The theory of“imitation”in painting occupies a leading position in western art, which originated from the theory of“imitation”in ancient Greece, and has become one of the art theories affecting the world through the continuous development of later generations.Through the exploration of the source of“imitation”in China and the West, there are some comments on the meaning of“imitation”in Chinese classical painting theory, such as“transfer model writing”and“image form”,which is obvious differences from the west.Traditional Chinese painting is a combination of careful observation of natural things and subjective emotions to express their own aesthetic feelings, and ultimately form a vivid artistic conception.Modern imitation is borrowed from Western imitation. In fact, imitation in traditional painting has its own meaning, which contains Chinese aesthetic thought.“Imitation”aesthetics is unique in traditional Chinese painting and is the most important form of painting art.

文摘Eastern European Marxism, taking a critical stance towards structuralism, gave rise to a unique paradigm of praxis-oriented semiotic aesthetics. This novel approach posits that signs emerge from humans’social praxis and also function as a means of praxis. It further delves into the principle governing the generation and usage of signs,i.e.,the Economy Principle, the homogenization of signs, the situatedness or contextual constraints,as well as their aesthetic features and transcendental attributes. As a result, the praxis-oriented semiotic aesthetics within Eastern European Marxism exhibits distinct theoretical value.
文摘People inherently assess landscapes by creating spontaneous aesthetic liking judgments based on the surrounding stimuli. To understand these judgements objectively, use may be made of the fluency theory of aesthetic pleasure(the psychological processes through which people experience beauty). This study aims to predict people’s visual aesthetic preferences based on fluency theory and to correlate these preferences with landscape types and features. An ordinary least squares(OLS)regression model was developed to predict visual aesthetic liking, using image statistics as explanatory variables. We determined types of landscape using Landscape Character Assessment(LCA)and applied viewshed analyses distinguishing between near, medium, and far zones. We identified landscape features by content analysis making use of machine learning-based image recognition supplied by Google Cloud Vision API.The results show that vegetation and geological forms were the most significant features for people’s visual aesthetic liking, followed by waterscapes and built structures/human settlements. The viewshed analyses indicated that‘medium-altitude,low-gradient artificial areas’were visible in photographs with high aesthetic visual liking in all zones(i.e.,at all distances). When the photographs showing this type of landscape are examined, the artificial areas in the photographs turn out to consist mostly of historical buildings or remains. This finding suggests that historical sites are not just important for their cultural value, but for their visual aesthetic value as well.

文摘This article takes the South Korean streaming platform TVing 2024’s TV drama LTNS(short for“Long Time No Sex”)as the analysis text.In the form of black comedy, this series portrays the survival difficulties faced by young families in South Korea, who are facing marital crisis, heavy debt burden, and unemployment pressure. The deeper reasons for the difficulties faced by these individuals actually come from the deep-rooted problems of social stratification and wealth disparity. It offers a sharp critique of social realities and contemporary concerns, showcasing diverse values. As a typical representative of current Korean realism TV drama,it inherits the excellent tradition of realism in Korean dramas and draws on the aesthetic style of American and European streaming media films.Analyzing this work allows us to gain insight into the complex contradictions between the cultural traditions and contemporary social life of East Asian societies,as well as the public mindset when facing these contradictions. It also reveals why contemporary Korean critical realism dramas can have a widespread influence in East Asia. The East Asian characteristics of the story, the appeal of the narrative, and the sharp criticism wrapped in interesting stories collectively constitute the reasons for the influence of Korean dramas.
文摘Good translations play a very important role in cultural exchange. The idea of reception aesthetics think the reader as the center in translation process. This paper will study the translation of culture-loaded words from the perspective of reception aesthetics. It is divided into five parts. The first part mainly introduces the background and theoretical foundation of this paper, the second part introduces the writer’s works, the third part gives examples to analyze the culture-loaded words appearing in The Golden Cangue, the fourth part gives examples of the translation methods, and the fifth part is the conclusion. It aims to provide a reference for the English translation of culture-loaded words.
