Currently,the International Maritime Organization(IMO)has approved and implemented the assessment requirement for Minimum Propulsion Power(MPP)of ships in adverse sea conditions.The assessment method and relevant infl...Currently,the International Maritime Organization(IMO)has approved and implemented the assessment requirement for Minimum Propulsion Power(MPP)of ships in adverse sea conditions.The assessment method and relevant influence factors will have a vital impact on ship's design and operation.On the other hand,MPP is essentially a criterion for manoeuvring safety at actual seas.However,the practical assessment methods adopted in IMO guidelines do not directly and accurately account for ship's coursekeeping ability in severe seas.A time-domain comprehensive method with supplementary course-keeping ability criteria has been proposed in the authors'preliminary research.Based on an updated mathematical model and criteria,this paper presents more detailed elaborations,results and discussions on the time-domain method,including the comparative analyses with a power line method and two steady-state equilibrium methods based on IMO guidelines and draft.Discussions on the influences of key factors,involving criterion conditions and calculation parameters,are also presented.The results indicate that different methods exhibit varying advantages and complexity in MPP assessment,thus constituting a multi-level assessment framework for MPP.In particular,the time-domain comprehensive assessment has a higher accuracy with more realistic description of manoeuvre behaviors,capable of offering a solution for the ships that cannot meet other assessments,or for the assessment requiring additional course-keeping ability.Furthermore,an expanded range of wave direction sets a stricter but potentially necessary requirement,while using the self-propulsion factors at low speeds can eliminate the unnecessary conservation of assessment result caused by those at design speed.展开更多

Semiconductor-cocatalyst interfacial electron transfer has widely been considered as a fast step occurring on picosecond-microsecond timescale in photocatalytic reaction.However,the formed potential barriers severely ...Semiconductor-cocatalyst interfacial electron transfer has widely been considered as a fast step occurring on picosecond-microsecond timescale in photocatalytic reaction.However,the formed potential barriers severely slow this interfacial electronic process by thermionic emission.Although trap-assisted charge recombination can transfer electrons from semiconductor to cocatalyst and can even be evident under weak illumination,the parallel connection with thermionic emission makes the photocatalytic photon utilization encounter a minimum along the variation of light intensity.By this cognition,the light-intensity-dependent photocatalytic behaviors can be predicted by simulating the photoinduced semiconductor-cocatalyst interfacial electron transfer that mainly determines the reaction rate.We then propose a(photo)electrochemical method to evaluate the time constants for occurring this interfacial electronic process in actual photocatalytic reaction without relying on extremely high photon flux that is required to generate discernible optical signal in common instrumental methods based on ultrafast pulse laser.The evaluated decisecond-second timescale can accurately guide us to develop certain strategies to facilitate this rate-determining step to improve photon utilization.展开更多
Evapotranspiration is the most important expenditure item in the water balance of terrestrial ecosystems,and accurate evapotranspiration modeling is of great significance for hydrological,ecological,agricultural,and w...Evapotranspiration is the most important expenditure item in the water balance of terrestrial ecosystems,and accurate evapotranspiration modeling is of great significance for hydrological,ecological,agricultural,and water resource management.Artificial forests are an important means of vegetation restoration in the western Loess Plateau,and accurate estimates of their evapotranspiration are essential to the management and development of water use strategies for artificial forests.This study estimated the soil moisture and evapotranspiration based on the HYDRUS-1D model for the artificial Platycladus orientalis(L.)Franco forest in western mountains of Loess Plateau,China from 20 April to 31 October,2023.Moreover,the influence factors were identified by combining the correlation coefficient method and the principal component analysis(PCA)method.The results showed that HYDRUS-1D model had strong applicability in portraying hydrological processes in this area and revealed soil water surplus from 20 April to 31 October,2023.The soil water accumulation was 49.64 mm;the potential evapotranspiration(ET_(p))was 809.67 mm,which was divided into potential evaporation(E_(p);95.07 mm)and potential transpiration(T_(p);714.60 mm);and the actual evapotranspiration(ET_(a))was 580.27 mm,which was divided into actual evaporation(E_(a);68.27 mm)and actual transpiration(T_(a);512.00 mm).From April to October 2023,the ET_(p),E_(p),T_(p),ET_(a),E_(a),and T_(a) first increased and then decreased on both monthly and daily scales,exhibiting a single-peak type trend.The average ratio of T_(a)/ET_(a) was 0.88,signifying that evapotranspiration mainly stemmed from transpiration in this area.The ratio of ET_(a)/ET_(p) was 0.72,indicating that this artificial forest suffered from obvious drought stress.The ET_(p) was significantly positively correlated with ET_(a),and the R^(2) values on the monthly and daily scales were 0.9696 and 0.9635(P<0.05),respectively.Furthermore,ET_(a) was significantly positively correlated with temperature,solar radiation,and wind speed,and negatively correlated with relative humidity and precipitation(P<0.05);and temperature exhibited the highest correlation with ET_(a).Thus,ET_(p) and temperature were the decisive contributors to ET_(a) in this area.The findings provide an effective method for simulating regional evapotranspiration and theoretical reference for water management of artificial forests,and deepen understanding of effects of each influence factors on ET_(a) in arid areas.展开更多
Achieving efficient flotation separation of chalcopyrite and galena while maintaining environmental friendliness poses a challenge.This study utilized the environmentally friendly copolymer acrylic acid-2-acrylamide-2...Achieving efficient flotation separation of chalcopyrite and galena while maintaining environmental friendliness poses a challenge.This study utilized the environmentally friendly copolymer acrylic acid-2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid(AA/AMPS)as a depressant to separate chalcopyrite and galena.Flotation tests revealed a significant reduction in galena recovery when AA/AMPS was employed,with minimal impact observed on chalcopyrite.In artificial mixed ore flotation,AA/AMPS was found to enhance the efficiency of copper and lead separation,surpassing K_(2)Cr_(2)O_(7).Furthermore,the effectiveness of AA/AMPS in facilitating copper-lead separation has been validated in practical ore flotation.The presence of AA/AMPS inhibited the adsorption of SBX onto galena,as confirmed by zeta potential and contact angle measurements.However,the adsorption on chalcopyrite remained unaffected.Through analyses using Atomic Force Microscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and Density Functional Theory,a robust chemical interaction between the reactive groups in AA/AMPS and Pb sites on galena was uncovered,resulting in the formation of a hydrophilic polymer layer.This layer impedes SBX adsorption and reduces galena's floatability.In contrast,no significant chemical adsorption was observed between AA/AMPS and Cu and Fe sites on chalcopyrite,preserving its SBX affinity.Overall,AA/AMPS shows promise in replacing traditional depressants for Cu-Pb sulfide ore separation,enhancing environmental sustainability.展开更多

Firstly, the temporal changes of domestic timber production, imports and export...The ecological footprint (EF) model has received much attention as an assessment indicator for sustainable development in recent years. Firstly, the temporal changes of domestic timber production, imports and exports in China were analyzed from 1973 to 2003, the analysis results showed an apparent fluctuation in timber production during 1973-1995 but a decreasing trend during 1995-2002, an increasing trend in timber imports since 1995 especially after the implementation of the Natural Forest Protection Project (NFPP), an decreasing trend year by year in timber exports since 1995. Secondly, this paper presented a time series analysis of actual forest area demand in the sustainable yield and production approach in China from 1973 to 2003, which includes both import and export forest area demand. The results showed the actual forest area demand simulated from the sustainable yield approach was slightly higher than that from the production approach during 1978-1988 and a little lower during 1989-2003; however, the actual forest area demands simulated by these two model approaches were larger than calculations that expressed in conventional forest EF. Meanwhile, the results indicated the forestry development in China during 1978-1988 was unsustainable due to overexploitation of forest stocking volumes, and China's forestry moved toward sustainable development since 1989 because forest resources are exploited at lower rates than they are regenerated. However, compared to forestry developed countries, the forestry development capacity in China is still lower. Finally, based on the model results we analyzed the relationships between forestry EF and the key policies, including trade policy, economic policy and forest conservation programs. In addition, several suggestions about reducing forestry EF and enhancing sustainable forestry development in China are given.展开更多

Sea ice research has a centuries - old history. The many correlative sea ice projects were established through the extensive international cooperation during the period from the primary research of intensity and the boaring capacity of sea ice to the development of sea/ice/air coupled model. Based on these reseamhes, the sea ice variety was combined with the global climate change. All research about sea ice includes: the physical properties and processes of sea ice and its snow cover, the ecosystem of sea ice regions, sea ice and upper snow albedo, mass balance of sea ice regions, sea ice and climate coupled model. The simulation suggests that the both of the area and volume of polar sea ice would be reduced in next century. With the developing of the sea ice research, more scientific issues are mentioned. Such as the interaction between sea ice and the other factors of global climate system, the seasonal and regional distribution of polar sea ice thickness, polar sea ice boundary and area variety trends, the growth and melt as well as their influencing factors, the role of the polynya and the sea/air interactions. The philosophical method used in the article structuralizes the economic world in the context of Aristotelian doctrine concerning economic reality and economic being and Heidegger's fundamental ontology. 文摘Evapotranspiration is the most important expenditure item in the water balance of terrestrial ecosystems,and accurate evapotranspiration modeling is of great significance for hydrological,ecological,agricultural,and water resource management.Artificial forests are an important means of vegetation restoration in the western Loess Plateau,and accurate estimates of their evapotranspiration are essential to the management and development of water use strategies for artificial forests.This study estimated the soil moisture and evapotranspiration based on the HYDRUS-1D model for the artificial Platycladus orientalis(L.)Franco forest in western mountains of Loess Plateau,China from 20 April to 31 October,2023.Moreover,the influence factors were identified by combining the correlation coefficient method and the principal component analysis(PCA)method.The results showed that HYDRUS-1D model had strong applicability in portraying hydrological processes in this area and revealed soil water surplus from 20 April to 31 October,2023.The soil water accumulation was 49.64 mm;the potential evapotranspiration(ET_(p))was 809.67 mm,which was divided into potential evaporation(E_(p);95.07 mm)and potential transpiration(T_(p);714.60 mm);and the actual evapotranspiration(ET_(a))was 580.27 mm,which was divided into actual evaporation(E_(a);68.27 mm)and actual transpiration(T_(a);512.00 mm).From April to October 2023,the ET_(p),E_(p),T_(p),ET_(a),E_(a),and T_(a) first increased and then decreased on both monthly and daily scales,exhibiting a single-peak type trend.The average ratio of T_(a)/ET_(a) was 0.88,signifying that evapotranspiration mainly stemmed from transpiration in this area.The ratio of ET_(a)/ET_(p) was 0.72,indicating that this artificial forest suffered from obvious drought stress.The ET_(p) was significantly positively correlated with ET_(a),and the R^(2) values on the monthly and daily scales were 0.9696 and 0.9635(P<0.05),respectively.Furthermore,ET_(a) was significantly positively correlated with temperature,solar radiation,and wind speed,and negatively correlated with relative humidity and precipitation(P<0.05);and temperature exhibited the highest correlation with ET_(a).Thus,ET_(p) and temperature were the decisive contributors to ET_(a) in this area.The findings provide an effective method for simulating regional evapotranspiration and theoretical reference for water management of artificial forests,and deepen understanding of effects of each influence factors on ET_(a) in arid areas.

文摘Achieving efficient flotation separation of chalcopyrite and galena while maintaining environmental friendliness poses a challenge.This study utilized the environmentally friendly copolymer acrylic acid-2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid(AA/AMPS)as a depressant to separate chalcopyrite and galena.Flotation tests revealed a significant reduction in galena recovery when AA/AMPS was employed,with minimal impact observed on chalcopyrite.In artificial mixed ore flotation,AA/AMPS was found to enhance the efficiency of copper and lead separation,surpassing K_(2)Cr_(2)O_(7).Furthermore,the effectiveness of AA/AMPS in facilitating copper-lead separation has been validated in practical ore flotation.The presence of AA/AMPS inhibited the adsorption of SBX onto galena,as confirmed by zeta potential and contact angle measurements.However,the adsorption on chalcopyrite remained unaffected.Through analyses using Atomic Force Microscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,and Density Functional Theory,a robust chemical interaction between the reactive groups in AA/AMPS and Pb sites on galena was uncovered,resulting in the formation of a hydrophilic polymer layer.This layer impedes SBX adsorption and reduces galena's floatability.In contrast,no significant chemical adsorption was observed between AA/AMPS and Cu and Fe sites on chalcopyrite,preserving its SBX affinity.Overall,AA/AMPS shows promise in replacing traditional depressants for Cu-Pb sulfide ore separation,enhancing environmental sustainability.

In contrast to English, Chinese does not have perfect constructions. English perfective aspect is an actual aspect indication: duration and completion of an action or situation. According to different reference time, the actual aspect can be divided into past actuality, present actuality and future actuality. This paper will undoubtedly contribute to the study of tense-aspect in Chinese. The study of English perfective aspect is conducive to the comparative study and translation of aspect in English and Chinese.

文摘The ecological footprint (EF) model has received much attention as an assessment indicator for sustainable development in recent years. Firstly, the temporal changes of domestic timber production, imports and exports in China were analyzed from 1973 to 2003, the analysis results showed an apparent fluctuation in timber production during 1973-1995 but a decreasing trend during 1995-2002, an increasing trend in timber imports since 1995 especially after the implementation of the Natural Forest Protection Project (NFPP), an decreasing trend year by year in timber exports since 1995. Secondly, this paper presented a time series analysis of actual forest area demand in the sustainable yield and production approach in China from 1973 to 2003, which includes both import and export forest area demand. The results showed the actual forest area demand simulated from the sustainable yield approach was slightly higher than that from the production approach during 1978-1988 and a little lower during 1989-2003; however, the actual forest area demands simulated by these two model approaches were larger than calculations that expressed in conventional forest EF. Meanwhile, the results indicated the forestry development in China during 1978-1988 was unsustainable due to overexploitation of forest stocking volumes, and China's forestry moved toward sustainable development since 1989 because forest resources are exploited at lower rates than they are regenerated. However, compared to forestry developed countries, the forestry development capacity in China is still lower. Finally, based on the model results we analyzed the relationships between forestry EF and the key policies, including trade policy, economic policy and forest conservation programs. In addition, several suggestions about reducing forestry EF and enhancing sustainable forestry development in China are given.

文摘Lost foam casting(LFC)technology has been widely applied to cast iron and cast steel.However,the development of LFC for Al and Mg alloys was relatively slower than that for cast iron and cast steel.The application of LFC to Al and Mg alloys needs more effort,especially in China.In this paper,the development history of LFC is reviewed,and the application situations of LFC to Al and Mg alloys are mainly discussed.Meanwhile,the key problems of LFC for Al and Mg alloys are also pointed out.Finally,the prospects for LFC technology are discussed,and some special new LFC technologies are introduced for casting Al and Mg alloys.In future,the development trends of green LFC technology mainly focus on the special new LFC methods,metal material,coating,heat treatment,new foam materials as well as purification technology of tail gas,etc.
文摘Tourist's satisfaction degree is one of the important indexes to evaluate the service quality of scenic spot.Taking Xi'an Dongda Hot Spring Resort Area for an example,with the expectation difference theory and customers' satisfaction evaluation model as the theoretical basis of the research,the overall satisfaction degree of tourists to hot spring resort area,and the actual sensation accomplishments and the expectation difference of each service index were analyzed by using regression analysis and paired sample t test method.The results showed:① The overall satisfaction degree of tourists to the resort area was higher.There were remarkable correlation among three variables:the sensation value,the overall satisfaction degree,and the tourist's loyalty degree;② Generally,the sensation actual accomplishments of 15 service appraisal factors were higher than the expectation value.According to the characteristics,these 15 service appraisal factors were divided into 5 groups.Some unsatisfactory aspects were found out,and the corrective measures were put forward.
文摘Definitions and features of eco-park and theme park were introduced as well as their differences, it was proposed that by applying cultural themes suited to regional ecological resources in the construction of eco-park, the eco-park could achieve not only desired ecological benefits, but also social and economic benefits, and the optimal comprehensive benefits. Design of Baiyunzhai Demonstration Eco-park was taken for an example, integration of eco-park and farming culture was confirmed as the nature, principles of "adaptation to actual conditions, amended protection and construction of plant system" proposed, three functional areas of "Colorful Forest Belt, Yiyun Health Maintenance Zone, Lakefront Meditation Zone" are given on the basis of actual terrains, planning highlights and desired landscape effects expounded to promote the value of regional cultures in Chongqing by building Baiyunzhai Eco-park.
文摘As an important part of global climate system, the Polar sea ice is effccting on global climate changes through ocean surface radiation balance, mass balance, energy balance as well as the circulating of sea water temperature and salinity. Sea ice research has a centuries - old history. The many correlative sea ice projects were established through the extensive international cooperation during the period from the primary research of intensity and the boaring capacity of sea ice to the development of sea/ice/air coupled model. Based on these reseamhes, the sea ice variety was combined with the global climate change. All research about sea ice includes: the physical properties and processes of sea ice and its snow cover, the ecosystem of sea ice regions, sea ice and upper snow albedo, mass balance of sea ice regions, sea ice and climate coupled model. The simulation suggests that the both of the area and volume of polar sea ice would be reduced in next century. With the developing of the sea ice research, more scientific issues are mentioned. Such as the interaction between sea ice and the other factors of global climate system, the seasonal and regional distribution of polar sea ice thickness, polar sea ice boundary and area variety trends, the growth and melt as well as their influencing factors, the role of the polynya and the sea/air interactions. We should give the best solutions to all of the issues in future sea ice studying.

文摘An integration processing system of three-dimensional laser scanning information visualization in goaf was developed. It is provided with multiple functions, such as laser scanning information management for goaf, cloud data de-noising optimization, construction, display and operation of three-dimensional model, model editing, profile generation, calculation of goaf volume and roof area, Boolean calculation among models and interaction with the third party soft ware. Concerning this system with a concise interface, plentiful data input/output interfaces, it is featured with high integration, simple and convenient operations of applications. According to practice, in addition to being well-adapted, this system is favorably reliable and stable.
文摘The article is dedicated to the analysis of philosophical understanding of the current economic world. In the existent interpretations of the economic world physical, biological and psychological approaches predominate. They highlight certain important aspects of economic realm, but do not provide a complex global picture of it. The philosophical method used in the article structuralizes the economic world in the context of Aristotelian doctrine concerning economic reality and economic being and Heidegger's fundamental ontology. The main attention is paid to the ontological and epistemological aspects of the economic world. The structure of the economic world is considered as a whole and in its dimensions (the economic being, the economic existence, the economic actuality, and the art of economics). Economic being is considered as a ground, prerequisite, economic background of economic existence. It is resumed that the qualitative analysis of the economic world has to be based on the philosophical, general scientific and economic methodology. Philosophical methodology includes general principles of cognition and categorical structure of science (i.e., structural components) as well as a philosophical knowledge system (i.e., functional components). General scientific methodology is based on general scientific research principles. It includes all theoretical concepts used to all or the majority of scientific disciplines. Specific scientific methodology, economic methodology use appropriate methods, research principles, and procedures in economics. The art of economics (economic policy) is built on a basis of either the explanatory methodology or applied (engineering) methodology, with its precise tools of statistics, econometrics, and mathematics.
