针对热塑性聚合物在汽车轻量化应用中的连接需求,采用半导体光纤激光器对车用材料聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)与A5052铝合金进行激光直接连接试验研究。为了提高连接强度,对铝合金表面进行激光表面织构预处理。利用响应曲面法建立工艺参... 针对热塑性聚合物在汽车轻量化应用中的连接需求,采用半导体光纤激光器对车用材料聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)与A5052铝合金进行激光直接连接试验研究。为了提高连接强度,对铝合金表面进行激光表面织构预处理。利用响应曲面法建立工艺参数与铝合金表面预处理时间和连接强度的数学模型,分析了焊接功率、焊接速度、织构扫描次数和织构密度对预处理时间及连接强度的交互式影响,并进行优化求解。结果表明,焊接功率-织构密度、焊接功率-焊接速度对焊接强度的交互式影响较大。模型验证和优化结果验证表明,所建模型的预测值与实验值较为吻合,模型是可靠的,对提高连接质量有很好的指导意义。 展开更多

Friction stir butt welding (FSW) between A5052-O aluminum alloy plates with a thickness of 2 mm was performed.The rotation speeds of the welding tool were 2000 and 3000 r/min,respectively.The traverse speed was ranged from 100 mm/min to 900 mm/min.The defect-free welds with the very smooth surface morphology were successfully obtained,except for at the welding condition of 3000 r/min and 100 mm/min.The onion ring structure was observed in the friction-stir-welded zone (SZ) at the condition of 2000 r/min and 100 mm/min.For all the welding conditions,the grain size of the SZ was smaller than that of the base metal,and was decreased with the decrease of the tool rotation speed and with the increase of the tool traverse speed.The stir zone exhibited higher average hardness than the base metal.The decrease of the tool rotation speed and the increase of the tool traverse speed resulted in the increase in the average hardness of the SZ.The tensile strength of the FSWed plates was similar to that of the base metal,except for at the welding condition of 3000 r/min and 100 mm/min.The total elongation of the FSWed plates was lower than that of the base metal. 展开更多

A monitoring system is proposed in order to detect the condition changes at abrasive/workpiece interface in abrasive cutoff operation.The system can detect the condition changes from the electric power change consumed by the driving motor of lapping tool.The electric power is strongly related with the abrasive effectiveness.When the abrasive effectiveness has been kept a normal state,the electric power also has been kept a constant value.The bodily removal of abrasive leads to reduce the electric power monotonously.The piling up of cutting chips leads to a peculiar electric power change;the electric power increased gradually at the beginning and then began to fluctuate periodically.The severe adhesion of cutting chips to the cutting edges leads to the loss of nominal function in the cutting edges and the electric power input was thus descended suddenly at an early stage of lapping. 展开更多

On the basis of ordinary plane magnetic abrasive finishing,a finishing method is proposed that can improve the flatness of a plane workpiece.In this method,the feed speed is varied during finishing according to the profile curve of the initial surface and the material removal efficiency,to control the effective finishing time in different areas and thereby improve the surface flatness.A small magnetic pole with an end face diameter of 1 mm is designed,and a ferromagnetic plate is placed under the workpiece to improve the uniformity of the magnetic field distribution near the magnetic pole.An experiment on an A5052 aluminum alloy plate workpiece shows that after 60 min of finishing using the proposed method,the extreme difference of the workpiece surface can be reduced from 14.317μm to 2.18μm,and the standard deviation can be reduced from 3.322μm to 0.417μm.At the same time,according to the measurement results,a similar flatness can be achieved at different positions on the finishing area.Thus,the proposed variable-speed finishing method leads to obvious improvements in flatness. 展开更多
