Methods: 86 patients...Objective: to compare and analyze the clinical effects of 64-slice spiral CT coronary angiography (64SCTCA) and coronary angiography (CAG) in the diagnosis of "coronary artery stenosis". Methods: 86 patients with "coronary artery stenosis" received in our hospital from 2020/8 to 2021/8 were screened out and underwent 64SCTCA examination. After 2 weeks of routine CAG examination, all coronary arteries ≥1.5mm in diameter were analyzed to identify all coronary artery lesions with stenosis < 50%, ≥50% and ≥75%, and then the final examination data were compared with the results of CAG examination. In addition, before conducting research on the patients, certain communication should be conducted with the patients and their families to ensure that the patients and their families can carry out the diagnosis and treatment on the patients under the condition of knowing the research content and research purpose, to further improve the continuity of the research and to ensure the effect of the research.Results: all coronary arteries were graded according to stenosis < 50%, ≥50%, ≥75%. The results of CAG examination showed that there were 7 patients without severe coronary lesions, 24 patients with single lesion and 51 patients with multiple lesions, accounting for 8.1%, 27.9% and 59.3% respectively. The sensitivity of stenosis < 50% 、 ≥50% 、 ≥75% was 100.0% 、 95% and 92% respectively by 64SCTCA.For patients with asymptomatic chest pain, stable or unstable angina pectoris, non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and other patients, it has very obvious specificity and high sensitivity.As medical staff, in the process of diagnosing such patients, 64-slice spiral CT coronary angiography is recommended and used to diagnose patients as much as possible, so that it can be applied to more patients.展开更多

Methods: In this study, the clinical data of 80 patient...Objective: To deeply analyze and study the clinical value and significance of 64-slice spiral CT in the imaging diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary sarcoidosis. Methods: In this study, the clinical data of 80 patients with pulmonary sarcoidosis admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects, and all 80 patients were confirmed as pulmonary sarcoidosis by biopsy through retrospective analysis. After that, 64-slice spiral CT examination was performed to compare the results with biopsy results to judge the accuracy of diagnosis, and finally to distinguish the characteristics and clinical manifestations of pulmonary sarcoidosis through imaging data. Results: the biopsy results as the main standard of diagnosis, then by using 64 layer spiral CT examination, the matching degree of up to 100%, no missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, the 80 patients were characterized by swollen lymph nodes, after using 64 layer spiral CT inspection, found that existence of small amount of pleural effusion 8 patients;There were 45 cases with intrapulmonary changes, including 20 cases with intrapulmonary scattered and subpleural multiple nodules, and the occurrence probability of intrapulmonary changes was 56.3%. Conclusion: 64-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of pulmonary sarcoidosis, its accuracy is relatively higher, and the operation is more convenient, often can provide more effective reference in the clinical diagnosis and symptomatic treatment process, but also has more extensive clinical promotion significance and value.展开更多

This investigation evaluates the utility of 64-slice CT in the...Background: While plain radiography is commonly used to assess scaphoid fracture, this imaging modality may not accurately demonstrate early bone healing. This investigation evaluates the utility of 64-slice CT in the detection of early fracture healing compared to plain radiographs and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Methods: Outpatients attending follow-up visits for scaphoid fractures at Hamilton General Hospital were included in this investigation. Inclusion criteria included outpatients over age of 18 who consented to attend a follow-up visit for the scaphoid fracture at 6 weeks for X-Ray, 64-slice CT and MRI scan to monitor fracture healing. Assessment of healing was independently interpreted by two radiologists specialized in musculoskeletal imaging. A total of 7 adult outpatients were accrued, with each case classified as healing, not healing, or equivocal for plain radiography and 64-slice CT scan. Results: For plain radiographs, the level of interrater agreement for evidence of healing was 57% (4/7) cases. When comparing this to CT scans, there was no discrepancy between radiologists as 100% (7/7) were found to have evidence of healing. The 64-slice CT scan demonstrated evidence of early trabecular continuity in all cases, including radiographs that were interpreted as equivocal. Conclusion: This study can be considered a pilot project for the efficacy of 64-slice CT in the assessment of early healing of scaphoid fractures. For clinicians, the multiplanar reconstruction images allows for more accurate assessment of fractures than plain radiography. CT scans are able to penetrate through bony callus that may obscure visualization of healing in plain radiography, demonstrate trabecular continuity better than plain radiographs, are readily accessible and provide faster imaging acquisition. The observations from this study may have implications in terms of duration and type of casting applied, timing of strengthening exercises, and avoiding unnecessary surgery which affect patient morbidity and cost of care.展开更多
