We studied the 2008 event and compared with composite analysis (winters of 2002/2003, 200412005, 200612007, 200712008, 201012011 and 2011/2012), when the downward coupling was stronger, by employing time-lagged singular value decomposition analysis on the geopotential height field. In the Northern Hemisphere, the geopo- tential fields were decomposed into zonal mean and wave components to compare the relative covariance patterns. It was found that the wavenumber 1 (WN1) component was dominant compared with the wavenumber 2 (WN2) component and zonal mean process. For the WNI field, the covariance was much higher (lower) for the negative (positive) lag, with a prominent peak around +15 days when the leading stratosphere coupled strongly with the troposphere. It contributed to the downward coupling due to reflection, when the stratosphere exhibited a partially reflective background state. We also analyzed the evolution of the WNI anomaly and heat flux anomaly, both in the troposphere and stratosphere, during January- March 2008. The amplitude of the tropospheric WN 1 pattern reached a maximum and was consistent with a downward wave coupling event influenced by the stratospheric WN1 anomaly at 10 hPa. This was consistent with the reflection of the WN1 component over Eurasia, which triggered an anomalous blocking high in the Urals-Siberia region. We further clarified the impact of reflection on the tropospheric WNI field and hence the tropospheric circulation pattern by changing the propagation direction during and after the event.展开更多

文摘Planetary wave reflection from the stratosphere played a significant role in changing the tropospheric circulation pattern over Eurasia in mid-January 2008. We further clarified the impact of reflection on the tropospheric WNI field and hence the tropospheric circulation pattern by changing the propagation direction during and after the event.

文摘A 3D model of deep crustal structure of the Archaean Karelia Craton and late Palaeoproterozoic Svecofennian Accretionary Orogen including the boundary zone is presented. The model is based on the combination of data from geological mapping and reflection seismic studies, along profiles 1-EU,4 B,FIRE-1-2 a-2 and FIRE-3-3 a,and uses results of magnetotelluric soundings in southern Finland and northern Karelia.A seismogeological model of the crust and crust-mantle boundary is compared with a model of subhorizontal velocity-density layering of the crust. The TTG-type crust of the Palaeoarchaean and Mesoarchaean microcontinents within the Karelia Craton and the Belomorian Province are separated by gently dipping greenstone belts,at least some of which are palaeosutures. The structure of the crust was determined mainly by Palaeoproterozoic tectonism in the intracontinental settings modified by a strong collisional compression at the end of the Palaeoproterozoic.New insights into structure, origin and evolution of the Svecofennian Orogen are provided. The accretionary complex is characterized by inclined tectonic layering:the tectonic sheets,~15 km thick, are composed of volcanic-sedimentary rocks, including electro-conductive graphite-bearing sedimentary rocks, and electro-resistive granitoids, which plunge monotonously and consecutively eastward.Upon reaching the level of the lower crust, the tectonic sheets of the accretionary complex lose their distinct outlines. In the seismic reflection pattern they are replaced by a uniform acoustically translucent medium, where separate sheets can only be traced fragmentarily. The crust-mantle boundary bears a diffuse character:the transition from crust to mantle is recorded by the disappearance of the vaguely drawn boundaries of the tectonic sheets and in the gradual transition of acoustically homogeneous and translucent lower crust into transparent mantle.Under the effect of endogenic heat flow, the accretionary complex underwent high-temperature metamorphism and partial melting.Blurring of the rock contacts, which in the initial state created contrasts of acoustic impedance, was caused by partial melting and mixing of melts. The 3 D model is used as a starting point for the evolutionary model of the Svecofennian Accretionary Orogen and for determination of its place in the history of the Palaeoproterozoic Lauro-Russian intracontinental orogeny, which encompassed a predominant part of the territory of Lauroscandia,a palaeocontinent combining North American and East European cratons. The model includes three stages in the evolution of the Lauro-Russian Orogen(-2.5,2.2-2.1 and 1.95-1.87 Ga).The main feature of the Palaeoproterozoic evolution of the accretionary Svecofennian Orogen and Lauroscandia as a whole lay in the causal link with evolution of a superplume, which initiated plate-tectonic events. The Svecofennian-Pre-Labradorian palaeo-ocean originated in the superplume axial zone;the accretionary orogens were formed along both continental margins due to closure of the palaeo-ocean.
文摘A novel optical device of a bulk glass Faraday current sensor is presented, which has a accuracy of 0. 5 in the current region of 1 000- 8 000 A and over a temperature range from-30℃ to + 40℃. The new sensing device can compensate the phase difference between p and s components of the incident light caused by total internal reflections in a glass. The self-correction, auto-correlation and auto-amplification techniques are used in the signal treatment with the help of a computer.
文摘Global challenges like epidemics, wars, and climate change expose humans to life-and-death threats daily, triggering death anxiety and subsequent death reflection, which involves deliberate cognitive processing of mortality. While some studies have shown the positive impacts of death reflection, such as on well-being,the relationship between death reflection and existential well-being,closely related to life and death, remains unexplored. This study aimed to investigate the effects of death reflection on existential well-being and the mediating role of relational self-esteem.675 university students from Sichuan and Hubei,China, completed the death reflection scale, relational self-esteem scale, and the existential well-being subscale of the spiritual well-being scale. Results indicated that death reflection was positively correlated with both relational self-esteem and existential well-being,and relational self-esteem was positively related to existential well-being.Mediation analysis confirmed that relational self-esteem mediated the relationship between death reflection and existential well-being.This study not only enriches the research content on the positive effects of death reflection theoretically, but also holds significant practical value in guiding individuals who have experienced death or been exposed to death-related information in their psychological reconstruction and recovery.

文摘Designing and fabricating a compatible low-reflectivity electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding/high-temperature resistant infrared stealth material possesses a critical significance in the field of military.Hence,a hierarchical polyimide(PI)nonwoven fabric is fabricated by alkali treatment,in-situ growth of magnetic particles and"self-activated"electroless Ag plating process.Especially, the hierarchical impedance matching can be constructed by systematically assembling Fe_(3)O_(4)/Ag-loaded PI nonwoven fabric(PFA)and pure Ag-coated PI nonwoven fabric(PA),endowing it with an ultralowreflectivity EMI shielding performance. In addition, thermal insulation of fluffy three-dimensional(3D)space structure in PFA and low infrared emissivity of PA originated from Ag plating bring an excellent infrared stealth performance.More importantly, the strong bonding interaction between Fe_(3)O_(4),Ag,and PI fiber improves thermal stability in EMI shielding and high-temperature resistant infrared stealth performance.Such excellent comprehensive performance makes it promising for military tents to protect internal equipment from electromagnetic interference stemmed from adjacent equipment and/or enemy, and inhibit external infrared detection.

文摘The increasingly serious electromagnetic(EM)radiation and related pollution effects have gradually attracted people's attention in the information age.Hence,it's crucial to develop adaptive shielding materials with minimum EM waves(EMW)reflection. In this paper,Ag nanoparticles loaded mesoporous carbon hollow spheres(MCHS@Ag)were synthesized by chemical reduction method, and cellulose nanofibers(CNF)/MXene/MCHS@Ag homogeneous composites were prepared. The total EM interference shielding efficiency(SET)of CNF/MXene/MCHS@Ag composite film was 32.83 dB(at 12.4 GHz),and the absorption effectiveness(SEA)was improved to 26.6 dB,which was 63.1%and 195.5%higher than that of CNF/MXene/MCHS composite film. The low dielectric property of MCHS effectively optimized the impedance matching between the composites and air.The hollow porous structure prolonged the transmission path of EMW and increased the absorption loss of the composites. At the same time,Ag nanoparticles located the MCHS were helpful to construct the internal conductive path overcoming the damage of the conductive property caused by the low dielectric of MCHS.This research adopts a straightforward method to construct a lightweight, pliable, and mesoporous composites for EMI shielding, which serves a crucial role in the current era of severe EM pollution.

文摘We report an interesting and abnormal electromagnetic phenomenon with regard to a terajet(TJ)that is generated in a reflection mode, which is realized by placing a dielectric scatterer onto a metal reflection plate. We show that the introduction of an air hollow into metal reflection plate beneath the scatterer does not induce an expected decrease but an abnormal increase of focal length of the TJ by as much as more than three times. This abnormal phenomenon takes place in case that the air hollow is shallow and there exists a critical hollow depth for a given lateral size of air hollow.Larger than the critical depth, the phenomenon no longer occurs. It is explained from viewpoints of both ray optics in terms of role of relative portion of central waves in TJ formation and electromagnetic field theory with regard to hollow-induced phase singularities.
