A visible light-promoted fast photochemical Wolff rearrangement was developed toward synthesis ofα-substituted amides in continuous flow with the use of a photochemical oscillatory flow reactor(POFR).The control experiment indicates that a fast process of the Wolff rearrangement(<40 s)is involved.Notably,this protocol does not require excess use of any reactants,and the resultingα-substituted amides could be isolated by recrystallization in good to excellent yields. 展开更多

Effects of meta-substituent of 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted benzylideneanilines (XBAYs) on the electrochemical reduction potentials (E(Red)) were investigated, in which 49 samples of target compounds were synthesized, and their reduction potentials were measured by cyclic voltammetry. The substituent effects on the E(Red) of target compounds were analyzed and an optimality equation with four parameters (Hammett constant a of X, Hammett constant a of Y, excited-state substituent constant σexCC of X, and the substituent specific cross-interaction effect △σexCC2 between X and Y) was obtained. The results show that the factors affecting the E(Red) of 3,4'/4,31/3,3P-substituted XBAYs are different from those of 4,4'-substituted XBAYs. For 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted XBAYs, σ(X) and σ(Y) must be employed, and the contribution of △σexCC2 is important and not negligible. Compared with 4,4'-substituted XBAYs, X group contributes less to 3,4'/4,3'/3,3'-substituted XBAYs, while Y group contributes more to them. Additionally, it was observed that either para-substituted XBAYs or meta-substituted XBAYs, the substituent effects of X are larger than those of Y on the E(Red) of substituted XBAYs. 展开更多

However, some sulfonylureas might persist unfavourably in the environment with residual problems. In order to look for ecologically safer and environmentally benign sulfonylureas, and on keeping the pyrimidine ring being monosubstitated, 15 novd C5-monosubstituted benzenesulfonylurea compounds were synthesized. The structures of all the compounds synthesized were confirmed by demental analysis and ^1H NMR. Preliminary herbicidal activities of these new sulfonylurea compounds were determined by ALS screening ( in vitro) and pot bioassay experiments( in vivo). The herbicidal results show that some novel sulfonylureas are comparable to commercial Foramsulfuron and Monosulfuron. 展开更多

Aiming at deep desulfurization of gasoline,three amphiphilic catalysts [C18H37N(CH3)3]3+x [PMo12-xVxO40](x=1,2,or 3) were prepared and characterized.The amphiphilic vanadium(V)-substituted polyoxometalates were dissolved in water-immiscible ionic liquid([Bmim]PF6),forming a H2O2-in-[Bmim]PF6 emulsion desulfurization system with 30 m% H2O2 serving as the oxidant.The catalytic oxidation of sulfur-containing model oil has been studied in detail under various reaction conditions using this system.The ionic liquid emulsion system showed high catalytic oxidative activity in the treatment of commodity gasoline.Furthermore,the mechanism of catalytic oxidative desulfurization was also elaborated. 展开更多

1-Substituted 1,2,3-triazoles represents‘privileged’structural scaffolds of many clinical pharmaceuticals.However,the traditional methods for their preparation mainly rely on thermal[3+2]cycloaddition of potentially... 1-Substituted 1,2,3-triazoles represents‘privileged’structural scaffolds of many clinical pharmaceuticals.However,the traditional methods for their preparation mainly rely on thermal[3+2]cycloaddition of potentially dangerous acetylene and azides.Here we report a base-mediated[4+1]annulation of azoalkenes generated in situ from readily available difluoroacetaldehyde N-tosylhydrazones(DFHZ-Ts)with amines under relatively mild conditions.This azide-and acetylene-free strategy provides facile access to diverse 1-substituted 1,2,3-triazole derivatives in high yield in a regiospecific manner.This transformation has great functional group tolerance and can suit a broad substrate scope.Furthermore,the application of this novel methodology in the gram-scale synthesis of an antibiotic drug PH-027 and in the late-stage derivatization of several bioactive small molecules and clinical drugs demonstrated its generality,practicability and applicability. 展开更多

The nociceptin receptor(NOP) has been involved in multiple biological functions, including pain, anxiety, cough, substance abuse, cardiovascular control, and immunity. Thus, selective NOP agonists might have clinical potential for the treatment of related diseases. In the present work, three-dimensional quantitative structure-activity relationship(3D-QSAR) studies were performed on a series of 3-substituted N-benzhydryl-nortropane analogs as NOP agonists using comparative molecular field analysis(Co MFA) and comparative molecular similarity indices analysis(CoM SIA) techniques. The statistically significant models were obtained with 54 compounds in training set by ligand-based atom-by-atom matching alignment. The CoM FA model gave cross-validated coefficient(q2) value of 0.530 using 6 components, non-cross-validated(r2) value of 0.921 with estimated F value of 93.668, and standard error of estimate(SEE) of 0.185. The best Co MSIA model resulted in q2 = 0.592, r2 = 0.945, N = 10, SEE = 0.162, and F = 75.654, based on steric, electrostatic, hydrophobic and hydrogen bond acceptor fields. The predictive ability of the Co MFA and CoM SIA models was further validated using a test set of 18 molecules that were not included in the training set, which resulted in predictive correlation coefficients(r2pred) of 0.551 and 0.637, respectively. Moreover, the CoM FA and CoM SIA contour maps identified the features important for exhibiting potent binding affinities on NOP, and can thus serve as a useful guide for the design of potential NOP agonists. 展开更多

Crystalline morphology in a series of CH_(3)-substituted main chain thermotropic aromatic polyesters with even and odd numbered methylene spacers has been studied by polarizing optical microscopy(POM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).On crystallization from solution evaporation spherulites of radial structure were observed in the polymers with even numbered spacers,but spherulites with concentric rings form in the polymer with odd numbered spacers.Both spherulites have a lamellar structure,which is about 10 nm in thickness.On crystallization from nematic glassy state spherulites can not be grown;lamellar structure was only observed around disclinations in a specimen during crystallization.Ln the case of crystallization from nematic melt two types of spherulites can be observed far the sample with even numbered spacers.For the sample with add numbered spacers spherulites can not be formed,but only irregular crystallites. 展开更多

In an attempt to find new antitumor agents,a novel class of chromone compounds with a benzimidazole or a benzoxazole ring in positions 2 or 6 were synthesized via condensation in polyphosphoric acid(PPA) by using chromone acids as the starting materials. During the preparation process,it was found that PPA could cleave the chromone ring to produce a ring-opening compound(6). The molar ratio of the chromone compound(5) to the ring-opening compound(6) varied with the change of reaction temperature and time. Based on MTT protocol,the antitumor activity of each of the compounds obtained was evaluated against three human cancer cell lines: KB(oral epidermal),A2780(ovary) and Bel7402(liver). The IC_ 50 varied from 54.7 μmol/L to more than 180 μmol/L. 展开更多
