Weak measurement offers a powerful framework for probing nonclassical features of quantum mechanics,with anomalous weak values serving as operational signatures of contextuality.While the anomalous weak value verifica...Weak measurement offers a powerful framework for probing nonclassical features of quantum mechanics,with anomalous weak values serving as operational signatures of contextuality.While the anomalous weak value verification of quantum contextuality has been predominantly investigated in the single-photon regime and analyzed under approximation condition of infinitesimally small perturbation strength.This study releases the approximation condition and takes into account the impact of perturbation strength on the rigor of the verification.And the investigation on the verification of contextuality is extended to the multi-photon scenarios for observing the influence of the correlation between photons on the verification.Without the limitation of infinitesimally small probability of disturbance,anomalous weak values are identified as necessary for contextuality to emerge,thereby refining the criterion proposed by Pusey[Phys.Rev.Lett.113200401(2014)].In the multi-photon scenarios,the emergence of contextuality also depends strongly on both the photon number and the photon-number distribution state.In particular,contextuality is found to be maximized when the single-photon component dominates and the second-order correlation is lower.These results highlight the critical role of photon statistics in experimental tests of contextuality via anomalous weak values.展开更多
BACKGROUND:Although the Confusion Assessment Methods for the Intensive Care Unit(CAMICU) is a recommended tool for diagnosing sepsis-associated encephalopathy(SAE),it has several limitations.Mismatch-negativity(MMN) a...BACKGROUND:Although the Confusion Assessment Methods for the Intensive Care Unit(CAMICU) is a recommended tool for diagnosing sepsis-associated encephalopathy(SAE),it has several limitations.Mismatch-negativity(MMN) and P3a are components of event-related potentials(ERPs) used with electroencephalography(EEG) and are associated with cerebral function changes in critically ill patients.This study aimed to provide a quantitative,non-invasive method to guide SAE diagnosis in nonsedated patients.METHODS:From January 2022 to March 2023,sepsis patients without sedation were enrolled and assessed via the CAM-ICU,Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),and ERP under standard procedures.Both MMN and P3a data were collected.The diagnostic value of MMN and P3a was assessed with processed ERP data.RESULTS:Thirty-six patients were included in this study,comprising 19 patients with SAE and 17 patients without SAE(NSAE).MMN and P3a amplitudes decreased,and only FzMMN amplitude significantly decreased in SAE patients(2.03 [1.08,2.93] mV vs.3.21 [1.92,4.34] mV,P=0.040).After median dichotomization,low F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes were associated with higher CAM-ICU positivity rates and APACHE II scores.Both amplitude in F3P3a(AUC=0.710,95%CI:0.527–0.893,P=0.034) and FzP3a(AUC=0.700,95%CI:0.519–0.881,P=0.041) exhibited moderate diagnostic efficacy for SAE,while FzMMN amplitude lacks effective diagnostic value.CONCLUSION:In this pilot study,ERP components F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes demonstrated moderate diagnostic value for SAE.These exploratory findings require confirmation in larger and powered cohorts.展开更多
AIM:To evaluate the predictive value of pan-immuneinflammation value(PIV)in the diagnosis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR)and its association with the stage of PDR.METHODS:This observational case-control stu...AIM:To evaluate the predictive value of pan-immuneinflammation value(PIV)in the diagnosis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR)and its association with the stage of PDR.METHODS:This observational case-control study included participants who underwent routine complete blood count testing.Inflammation-related indices,including neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),and PIV,were derived and analyzed.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis was applied to assess the diagnostic performance of these indices in distinguishing patients with PDR,with sensitivity,specificity,area under ROC,and optimal threshold values calculated.In addition,binary logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between inflammatory indices and PDR stage.RESULTS:This study included 205 patients:60 with diabetes without retinopathy(mean age:61.81±10.76y),80 with PDR(mean age:61.63±10.03y)and 65 healthy controls(mean age:59.52±5.88y).The PDR group had significantly higher white blood cell(WBC,P<0.001),monocyte(MONO,P=0.009)and neutrophil(NEU)counts(P<0.001).SII and PIV had the highest sensitivity and area under ROC for predicting patients with PDR(0.822,0.846,respectively).The optimal cut-off values for discriminating patients with PDR were determined to be>527.12 and>299.08 for SII and PIV,respectively.The logistic regression analysis demonstrated that a decrease in lymphocyte(LYM)count and an increase in platelet count(PLT),glycated haemoglobin(HbA1c),SII,and PIV were all significantly associated with the development of high-risk PDR(all P<0.05).PIV was more stable than independent MONO,LYM,PLT and NEU levels in predicting both the diagnosis and stage of PDR.The optimal cut-off value for PIV to discriminate patients with high-risk PDR was found to be>345.87 area under ROC=0.871,with sensitivity of 0.827 and specificity of 0.812.CONCLUSION:PIV is a reliable,valuable,and inexpensive blood index that can be used for early detection and staging of PDR.PIV may therefore be essential to be used for the follow-up of diabetic patients.展开更多
To investigate the damage evolution caused by stress-driven and sub-critical crack propagation within the Beishan granite under multi-creep triaxial compressive conditions,the distributed optical fiber sensing and X-r...To investigate the damage evolution caused by stress-driven and sub-critical crack propagation within the Beishan granite under multi-creep triaxial compressive conditions,the distributed optical fiber sensing and X-ray computed tomography were combined to obtain the strain distribution over the sample surface and internal fractures of the samples.The Gini and skewness(G-S)coefficients were used to quantify strain localization during tests,where the Gini coefficient reflects the degree of clustering of elements with high strain values,i.e.,strain localization/delocalization.The strain localization-induced asymmetry of data distribution is quantified by the skewness coefficient.A precursor to granite failure is defined by the rapid and simultaneous increase of the G-S coefficients,which are calculated from strain increment,giving an earlier warning of failure by about 8%peak stress than those from absolute strain values.Moreover,the process of damage accumulation due to stress-driven crack propagation in Beishan granite is different at various confining pressures as the stress exceeds the crack initiation stress.Concretely,strain localization is continuous until brittle failure at higher confining pressure,while both strain localization and delocalization occur at lower confining pressure.Despite the different stress conditions,a similar statistical characteristic of strain localization during the creep stage is observed.The Gini coefficient increases,and the skewness coefficient decreases slightly as the creep stress is below 95%peak stress.When the accelerated strain localization begins,the Gini and skewness coefficients increase rapidly and simultaneously.展开更多

The shift toward specialized and large-scale agricultural production has spurred the emergence of agricultural clusters as key forces of rural vitalization and sustainable development.This paper explored the formation...The shift toward specialized and large-scale agricultural production has spurred the emergence of agricultural clusters as key forces of rural vitalization and sustainable development.This paper explored the formation and evolution of Meizhou pomelo industry cluster in China,focusing on its role in restructuring rural socio-economic systems and integrating the whole value chains.Based on a case study employing qualitative methods such as in-depth interviews and participatory observation,the agricultural cluster evolution of Meizhou pomelo was categorized into three key phases of initial decentralization,self-organized scaling,and reorganized clustering.Geographical proximity and industrial agglomeration constitute the physical foundation,while vertical/horizontal linkages,technologic-al innovation,and policy support enhance competitiveness.Special mechanisms emerge through localized social networks,farmer co-operatives’activation,and cross-regional market expansion.The cluster’s impact is manifested in the shift from extensive to standard-ized and modernized production,diversified and flexible livelihood of farmers,and the integration of agriculture with industry and ser-vices.The development of the whole value chain based on agricultural cluster represents a critical pathway for achieving agricultural modernization,encompassing both internal and external value chain optimization.Through quality assurance systems,product diversi-fication strategies,operational efficiency improvements,and brand enhancement,these clusters amplify product value propositions and market competitiveness.This systemic approach facilitates supply-demand coordination,enables resource synergies,and optimizes eco-nomic returns across the horizontal and vertical value chain.This paper argues that agricultural clusters serve as strategic catalysts for sustainable rural development by reconstructing local production systems,fostering innovation ecosystems,and aligning agricultural modernization.It contributes to debates on rural vitalization by demonstrating how agricultural clustering can reconfigure rural areas as hubs of ecological modernization,rather than mere urban peripheries.展开更多

Vaginal delivery is a fascinating physiological process,but also a high-risk process.Up to 85%–90%of vaginal deliveries lead to perineal trauma,with nearly 11%of severe perineal tearing.It is a common occurrence,espe...Vaginal delivery is a fascinating physiological process,but also a high-risk process.Up to 85%–90%of vaginal deliveries lead to perineal trauma,with nearly 11%of severe perineal tearing.It is a common occurrence,especially for first-time mothers.Computational childbirth plays an essential role in the prediction and prevention of these traumas,but fast personalization of the pelvis and floor muscles is challenging due to their anatomical complexity.This study introduces a novel shape-prediction-based personalization of the pelvis and floor muscles for perineal tearing management and childbirth simulation.300 subjects were selected from public Computed Tomography(CT)databases.The pelvic bone nmjmeshes were generated using a coarse-to-fine non-rigid mesh alignment procedure.The floor muscle meshes were personalized using the bone mesh deformation information.A feature-to-pelvic structure reconstruction pipeline was proposed,incorporating various strategies.Ten-fold cross-validation helped determine the optimal reconstruction strategy,regression method,and feature sizes.The mesh-to-mesh distance metric was employed for evaluating.The statistical shape relation-based strategy,coupled with multi-output ridge regression,was the optimal approach for pelvic structure reconstruction.With a feature set ranging from 3 to 38,the mean errors were 2.672 to 1.613 mm,and 3.237 to 1.415 mm in muscle attachment regions.The best-and worst-case predictions had errors of 1.227±0.959 mm and 2.900±2.309 mm,respectively.This study provides a novel approach to achieving fast personalized childbirth modeling and simulation for perineal tearing management.展开更多

Accurate assessment of coal brittleness is crucial in the design of coal seam drilling and underground coal mining operations.This study proposes a method for evaluating the brittleness of gas-bearing coal based on a ...Accurate assessment of coal brittleness is crucial in the design of coal seam drilling and underground coal mining operations.This study proposes a method for evaluating the brittleness of gas-bearing coal based on a statistical damage constitutive model and energy evolution mechanisms.Initially,integrating the principle of effective stress and the Hoek-Brown criterion,a statistical damage constitutive model for gas-bearing coal is established and validated through triaxial compression tests under different gas pressures to verify its accuracy and applicability.Subsequently,employing energy evolution mechanism,two energy characteristic parameters(elastic energy proportion and dissipated energy proportion)are analyzed.Based on the damage stress thresholds,the damage evolution characteristics of gas bearing coal were explored.Finally,by integrating energy characteristic parameters with damage parameters,a novel brittleness index is proposed.The results demonstrate that the theoretical curves derived from the statistical damage constitutive model closely align with the test curves,accurately reflecting the stress−strain characteristics of gas-bearing coal and revealing the stress drop and softening characteristics of coal in the post-peak stage.The shape parameter and scale parameter represent the brittleness and macroscopic strength of the coal,respectively.As gas pressure increases from 1 to 5 MPa,the shape parameter and the scale parameter decrease by 22.18%and 60.45%,respectively,indicating a reduction in both brittleness and strength of the coal.Parameters such as maximum damage rate and peak elastic energy storage limit positively correlate with coal brittleness.The brittleness index effectively captures the brittleness characteristics and reveals a decrease in brittleness and an increase in sensitivity to plastic deformation under higher gas pressure conditions.展开更多

A new dimensionless parameter, called the threshold-crossing intensity, is defined as a measure of the threshold-crossing severity, which is equal to the ratio of the product of average number of crossing events per unit time and mean threshold-crossing duration and amplitude over the threshold. It is found, by the calculation results for various combinations of stochastic processes and different thresholds, that the threshold-crossing intensity, irrelevant of the threshold and spectral density of the process, is dependent only on the threshold-crossing probability.展开更多

In case of analysis for MCx, chemical activity a(C) of C in place of partial pressure p(X2) of X2 gas must be known. On statistical modelling of crystal lattice structure for MXx, an a priori assumption of constant nearest-neighbour X-X interaction energy E(X-X) within a homogeneity composition range at arbitrary temperature T was accepted to determine number θ of available interstitial sites for occupation by X atoms per M atom. Values of interaction parame-ters estimated as such appear rational and realistic noting consistency of the values for M’s in the same group in the Periodic Table of the Elements and compatibility with enthalpy values evaluated by conventional thermodynamic approach. Engineering insights gained for MXx through analysis of atomistic interaction parameter values evaluated by the statistical thermodynamics are reviewed comprehensively in this paper. M might be substitutional alloy A1-yBy composed of constituents, A and B, or MZz containing another interstitial constituent Z besides X. On February 10,2022,the U.S.Food and Drug Administration(FDA)’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 14-1 against using data from the ORIENT-11 trial to support a biologics license application for sintilimab inje...On February 10,2022,the U.S.Food and Drug Administration(FDA)’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 14-1 against using data from the ORIENT-11 trial to support a biologics license application for sintilimab injection plus pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy as first-line treatment for patients with nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)1.One major reason was that the FDA claimed overall survival(OS)was not statistically tested in ORIENT-11,while previous regular approvals were granted on the basis of statistically significant improvements in OS2.This may be a surprise to some physicians,as the ORIENT-11 trial previously reported improved OS with a hazard ratio(HR)of 0.60(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.45–0.79)and a P value of 0.00033,which is far below the commonly accepted threshold of 0.05 for declaring statistical significance.Some may argue that the OS results of ORIENT-11 were not considered statistically significant by the FDA because OS was only a secondary endpoint.However,in the KEYNOTE-024 trial4,which compared pembrolizumab with chemotherapy in patients with previously untreated advanced NSCLC with PD-L1 expression on at least 50%of tumor cells,OS was also a secondary endpoint.Nevertheless,the OS benefit of the KEYNOTE-024 trial was acknowledged by the FDA and included in the drug label5.The fundamental reason why OS results of ORIENT-11 were not considered statistically significant by the FDA is that the OS endpoint was not included in the multiplicity control strategy.展开更多
The present study aims to establish a relationship between serum AMH levels and age in a large group of women living in Bulgaria, as well as to establish reference age-specific AMH levels in women that would serve as ...The present study aims to establish a relationship between serum AMH levels and age in a large group of women living in Bulgaria, as well as to establish reference age-specific AMH levels in women that would serve as an initial estimate of ovarian age. A total of 28,016 women on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria were tested for serum AMH levels with a median age of 37.0 years (interquartile range 32.0 to 41.0). For women aged 20 - 29 years, the Bulgarian population has relatively high median levels of AMH, similar to women of Asian origin. For women aged 30 - 34 years, our results are comparable to those of women living in Western Europe. For women aged 35 - 39 years, our results are comparable to those of women living in the territory of India and Kenya. For women aged 40 - 44 years, our results were lower than those for women from the Western European and Chinese populations, close to the Indian and higher than Korean and Kenya populations, respectively. Our results for women of Bulgarian origin are also comparable to US Latina women at age 30, 35 and 40 ages. On the base on constructed a statistical model to predicting the decline in AMH levels at different ages, we found non-linear structure of AMH decline for the low AMH 3.5) the dependence of the decline of AMH on age was confirmed as linear. In conclusion, we evaluated the serum level of AMH in Bulgarian women and established age-specific AMH percentile reference values based on a large representative sample. We have developed a prognostic statistical model that can facilitate the application of AMH in clinical practice and the prediction of reproductive capacity and population health.展开更多
The manufacturing industry is an important pillar of the national economy.It is of vital importance to develop statistical modellings in order to quantify the relationship between potential internal drivers and the tr...The manufacturing industry is an important pillar of the national economy.It is of vital importance to develop statistical modellings in order to quantify the relationship between potential internal drivers and the trend of output values in the manufacturing industry.However,only a few statistical modellings have been established to investigate such associations.This study developed the correlation coefficient model and generalized linear model(GLM)to measure the single and interactive effects of the internal drivers on the changes of the output values.For the GLM,different predictive variables were developed to fit into the dataset,and the performance of the models were compared using fitness parameters.Furthermore,an industry survey dataset for 1,180 manufacturing enterprises in 2020 was used to validate the models.The use of the GLM combining land area,number of employees,scientific research input,and labor productivity may have a great potential to bolster capacity in monitoring and predicting the trend of output values in the manufacture industry.展开更多

文摘Weak measurement offers a powerful framework for probing nonclassical features of quantum mechanics,with anomalous weak values serving as operational signatures of contextuality.While the anomalous weak value verification of quantum contextuality has been predominantly investigated in the single-photon regime and analyzed under approximation condition of infinitesimally small perturbation strength.This study releases the approximation condition and takes into account the impact of perturbation strength on the rigor of the verification.And the investigation on the verification of contextuality is extended to the multi-photon scenarios for observing the influence of the correlation between photons on the verification.Without the limitation of infinitesimally small probability of disturbance,anomalous weak values are identified as necessary for contextuality to emerge,thereby refining the criterion proposed by Pusey[Phys.Rev.Lett.113200401(2014)].In the multi-photon scenarios,the emergence of contextuality also depends strongly on both the photon number and the photon-number distribution state.In particular,contextuality is found to be maximized when the single-photon component dominates and the second-order correlation is lower.These results highlight the critical role of photon statistics in experimental tests of contextuality via anomalous weak values.

文摘BACKGROUND:Although the Confusion Assessment Methods for the Intensive Care Unit(CAMICU) is a recommended tool for diagnosing sepsis-associated encephalopathy(SAE),it has several limitations.Mismatch-negativity(MMN) and P3a are components of event-related potentials(ERPs) used with electroencephalography(EEG) and are associated with cerebral function changes in critically ill patients.This study aimed to provide a quantitative,non-invasive method to guide SAE diagnosis in nonsedated patients.METHODS:From January 2022 to March 2023,sepsis patients without sedation were enrolled and assessed via the CAM-ICU,Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),and ERP under standard procedures.Both MMN and P3a data were collected.The diagnostic value of MMN and P3a was assessed with processed ERP data.RESULTS:Thirty-six patients were included in this study,comprising 19 patients with SAE and 17 patients without SAE(NSAE).MMN and P3a amplitudes decreased,and only FzMMN amplitude significantly decreased in SAE patients(2.03 [1.08,2.93] mV vs.3.21 [1.92,4.34] mV,P=0.040).After median dichotomization,low F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes were associated with higher CAM-ICU positivity rates and APACHE II scores.Both amplitude in F3P3a(AUC=0.710,95%CI:0.527–0.893,P=0.034) and FzP3a(AUC=0.700,95%CI:0.519–0.881,P=0.041) exhibited moderate diagnostic efficacy for SAE,while FzMMN amplitude lacks effective diagnostic value.CONCLUSION:In this pilot study,ERP components F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes demonstrated moderate diagnostic value for SAE.These exploratory findings require confirmation in larger and powered cohorts.
文摘AIM:To evaluate the predictive value of pan-immuneinflammation value(PIV)in the diagnosis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR)and its association with the stage of PDR.METHODS:This observational case-control study included participants who underwent routine complete blood count testing.Inflammation-related indices,including neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),and PIV,were derived and analyzed.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis was applied to assess the diagnostic performance of these indices in distinguishing patients with PDR,with sensitivity,specificity,area under ROC,and optimal threshold values calculated.In addition,binary logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between inflammatory indices and PDR stage.RESULTS:This study included 205 patients:60 with diabetes without retinopathy(mean age:61.81±10.76y),80 with PDR(mean age:61.63±10.03y)and 65 healthy controls(mean age:59.52±5.88y).The PDR group had significantly higher white blood cell(WBC,P<0.001),monocyte(MONO,P=0.009)and neutrophil(NEU)counts(P<0.001).SII and PIV had the highest sensitivity and area under ROC for predicting patients with PDR(0.822,0.846,respectively).The optimal cut-off values for discriminating patients with PDR were determined to be>527.12 and>299.08 for SII and PIV,respectively.The logistic regression analysis demonstrated that a decrease in lymphocyte(LYM)count and an increase in platelet count(PLT),glycated haemoglobin(HbA1c),SII,and PIV were all significantly associated with the development of high-risk PDR(all P<0.05).PIV was more stable than independent MONO,LYM,PLT and NEU levels in predicting both the diagnosis and stage of PDR.The optimal cut-off value for PIV to discriminate patients with high-risk PDR was found to be>345.87 area under ROC=0.871,with sensitivity of 0.827 and specificity of 0.812.CONCLUSION:PIV is a reliable,valuable,and inexpensive blood index that can be used for early detection and staging of PDR.PIV may therefore be essential to be used for the follow-up of diabetic patients.

文摘To investigate the damage evolution caused by stress-driven and sub-critical crack propagation within the Beishan granite under multi-creep triaxial compressive conditions,the distributed optical fiber sensing and X-ray computed tomography were combined to obtain the strain distribution over the sample surface and internal fractures of the samples.The Gini and skewness(G-S)coefficients were used to quantify strain localization during tests,where the Gini coefficient reflects the degree of clustering of elements with high strain values,i.e.,strain localization/delocalization.The strain localization-induced asymmetry of data distribution is quantified by the skewness coefficient.A precursor to granite failure is defined by the rapid and simultaneous increase of the G-S coefficients,which are calculated from strain increment,giving an earlier warning of failure by about 8%peak stress than those from absolute strain values.Moreover,the process of damage accumulation due to stress-driven crack propagation in Beishan granite is different at various confining pressures as the stress exceeds the crack initiation stress.Concretely,strain localization is continuous until brittle failure at higher confining pressure,while both strain localization and delocalization occur at lower confining pressure.Despite the different stress conditions,a similar statistical characteristic of strain localization during the creep stage is observed.The Gini coefficient increases,and the skewness coefficient decreases slightly as the creep stress is below 95%peak stress.When the accelerated strain localization begins,the Gini and skewness coefficients increase rapidly and simultaneously.

文摘In this paper,we study the nonlinear Riemann boundary value problem with square roots that is represented by a Cauchy-type integral with kernel density in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.We discuss the odd-order zero-points distribution of the solutions and separate the single valued analytic branch of the solutions with square roots,then convert the problem to a Riemann boundary value problem in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces and discuss the singularity of solutions at individual zeros belonging to curve.We consider two types of cases those where the coefficient is Hölder and those where it is piecewise Hölder.Then we solve the Hilbert boundary value problem with square roots in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.By discussing the distribution of the odd-order zero-points for solutions and the method of symmetric extension,we convert the Hilbert problem to a Riemann boundary value problem.The equivalence of the transformation is discussed.Finally,we get the solvable conditions and the direct expressions of the solutions in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.

文摘The shift toward specialized and large-scale agricultural production has spurred the emergence of agricultural clusters as key forces of rural vitalization and sustainable development.This paper explored the formation and evolution of Meizhou pomelo industry cluster in China,focusing on its role in restructuring rural socio-economic systems and integrating the whole value chains.Based on a case study employing qualitative methods such as in-depth interviews and participatory observation,the agricultural cluster evolution of Meizhou pomelo was categorized into three key phases of initial decentralization,self-organized scaling,and reorganized clustering.Geographical proximity and industrial agglomeration constitute the physical foundation,while vertical/horizontal linkages,technologic-al innovation,and policy support enhance competitiveness.Special mechanisms emerge through localized social networks,farmer co-operatives’activation,and cross-regional market expansion.The cluster’s impact is manifested in the shift from extensive to standard-ized and modernized production,diversified and flexible livelihood of farmers,and the integration of agriculture with industry and ser-vices.The development of the whole value chain based on agricultural cluster represents a critical pathway for achieving agricultural modernization,encompassing both internal and external value chain optimization.Through quality assurance systems,product diversi-fication strategies,operational efficiency improvements,and brand enhancement,these clusters amplify product value propositions and market competitiveness.This systemic approach facilitates supply-demand coordination,enables resource synergies,and optimizes eco-nomic returns across the horizontal and vertical value chain.This paper argues that agricultural clusters serve as strategic catalysts for sustainable rural development by reconstructing local production systems,fostering innovation ecosystems,and aligning agricultural modernization.It contributes to debates on rural vitalization by demonstrating how agricultural clustering can reconfigure rural areas as hubs of ecological modernization,rather than mere urban peripheries.
文摘In the Tianshan region,a complete textile industry chain has been established,covering the entire process from cotton cultivation and chemical fiber production,through spinning,weaving,dyeing,and finishing,and further extending to apparel,home textiles,and industrial textiles.In November 2025,the first list of five characteristic textile and apparel industry clusters in Xinjiang was officially announced,marking a new stage in the clustering of Xinjiang's textile and apparel industry.Data shows that the total output value of Xinjiang's cotton and textile and apparel industry chain has exceeded 220 billion yuan.With the nation's largest cotton production,a complete industrial chain system,and strong synergistic effects,Xinjiang has become a leading and highly competitive textile industry hub in China.

文摘Vaginal delivery is a fascinating physiological process,but also a high-risk process.Up to 85%–90%of vaginal deliveries lead to perineal trauma,with nearly 11%of severe perineal tearing.It is a common occurrence,especially for first-time mothers.Computational childbirth plays an essential role in the prediction and prevention of these traumas,but fast personalization of the pelvis and floor muscles is challenging due to their anatomical complexity.This study introduces a novel shape-prediction-based personalization of the pelvis and floor muscles for perineal tearing management and childbirth simulation.300 subjects were selected from public Computed Tomography(CT)databases.The pelvic bone nmjmeshes were generated using a coarse-to-fine non-rigid mesh alignment procedure.The floor muscle meshes were personalized using the bone mesh deformation information.A feature-to-pelvic structure reconstruction pipeline was proposed,incorporating various strategies.Ten-fold cross-validation helped determine the optimal reconstruction strategy,regression method,and feature sizes.The mesh-to-mesh distance metric was employed for evaluating.The statistical shape relation-based strategy,coupled with multi-output ridge regression,was the optimal approach for pelvic structure reconstruction.With a feature set ranging from 3 to 38,the mean errors were 2.672 to 1.613 mm,and 3.237 to 1.415 mm in muscle attachment regions.The best-and worst-case predictions had errors of 1.227±0.959 mm and 2.900±2.309 mm,respectively.This study provides a novel approach to achieving fast personalized childbirth modeling and simulation for perineal tearing management.
文摘Ming-style furniture represents the pinnacle of Chinese traditional furniture,with the four-head official’s cap chair standing out as a representative category due to its classic form and cultural connotations.This paper takes a specific rosewood four-head official’s cap chair inscribed by Wang Shixiang as the research subject,employing a tripartite approach of form analysis,material examination,and inscription interpretation.The chair strictly adheres to the classic form of Ming-style four-head official’s cap chairs,embodying the Ming Dynasty design philosophy of“the unity of function and aesthetics”.The scarcity and unique grain pattern of the golden-flecked rosewood(Zitan)endow it with the status of“gold among woods”.Wang Shixiang’s inscription binds the furniture to the cultural essence of“the charm of the Ming Dynasty”,transforming it into“heritable cultural heritage”.This paper provides a new perspective for the case study of Ming-style furniture and offers theoretical reference for the contemporary inheritance of traditional craftsmanship.

文摘The Nuo mask is the core visual vehicle within China’s Nuo culture and constitutes a complex symbolic system through facial features(icons),patterns(indexes),and colors(symbols).Within the context of intangible cultural heritage(ICH)preservation,its value lies in the continuation and revitalization of its dynamic symbolic functions.Grounded in semiotic theory,this paper elaborates on three core dimensions of symbolic value manifested by Nuo masks in ICH preservation:a ritual symbol for living transmission,a symbol of identity for collective memory,and an aesthetic symbol as a source of creativity.

文摘The value of a statistical life(VSL)is a crucial tool for monetizing health impacts.To explore the VSL in China,this study examines people’s willingness to pay(WTP)to reduce death risk from air pollution in six representative cities in China based on face-to-face contingent valuation interviews(n=3936)from March 7,2019 to September 30,2019.The results reveal that the WTP varied from CNY 455 to 763 in 2019(USD 66-111),corresponding to a VSL range of CNY 3.79-6.36 million(USD 549395-921940).The VSL in China in 2019 is estimated to be CNY 4.76 million(USD 689659).The statistics indicate that monthly expenditure levels,environmental concerns,risk attitudes,and assumed market acceptance,which have seldom been dis‐cussed in previous studies,significantly impact WTP and VSL.These findings will serve as a reference for ana‐lyzing mortality risk reduction benefits in future research and for policymaking.

文摘Accurate assessment of coal brittleness is crucial in the design of coal seam drilling and underground coal mining operations.This study proposes a method for evaluating the brittleness of gas-bearing coal based on a statistical damage constitutive model and energy evolution mechanisms.Initially,integrating the principle of effective stress and the Hoek-Brown criterion,a statistical damage constitutive model for gas-bearing coal is established and validated through triaxial compression tests under different gas pressures to verify its accuracy and applicability.Subsequently,employing energy evolution mechanism,two energy characteristic parameters(elastic energy proportion and dissipated energy proportion)are analyzed.Based on the damage stress thresholds,the damage evolution characteristics of gas bearing coal were explored.Finally,by integrating energy characteristic parameters with damage parameters,a novel brittleness index is proposed.The results demonstrate that the theoretical curves derived from the statistical damage constitutive model closely align with the test curves,accurately reflecting the stress−strain characteristics of gas-bearing coal and revealing the stress drop and softening characteristics of coal in the post-peak stage.The shape parameter and scale parameter represent the brittleness and macroscopic strength of the coal,respectively.As gas pressure increases from 1 to 5 MPa,the shape parameter and the scale parameter decrease by 22.18%and 60.45%,respectively,indicating a reduction in both brittleness and strength of the coal.Parameters such as maximum damage rate and peak elastic energy storage limit positively correlate with coal brittleness.The brittleness index effectively captures the brittleness characteristics and reveals a decrease in brittleness and an increase in sensitivity to plastic deformation under higher gas pressure conditions.

文摘The iron and steel industry in China has experienced vast changes over the past thirty years.To have a precise knowledge of the circumstances behind its evolution,it is essential to perform an iron flow analysis.Accordingly,iron flow analysis for the years 1990-2015 was conducted.Firstly,the iron natural resource efficiency,Chinese steel scrap index,and Chinese iron ore support ratio which can reflect the running status of China's iron and steel industry for these six years(1990,1995,2000,2005,2010,and 2015)were analyzed;thereafter,value chain and statistical entropy analyses were conducted based on the iron flow analysis,and some interesting results were obtained.Discussions and conclusions based on the results along with the recommendations for the China's iron and industry were proposed.
文摘Based on a comprehensive discussion of the calculation method for the threshold-crossing statistics of zero mean valued, narrow banded Gaussian processes of various practical engineering problems, including the threshold-crossing probability, average number of crossing events per unit time, mean threshold-crossing duration and amplitude, a new Simple numerical procedure is proposed for the efficient evaluation of mean threshold-crossing duration. A new dimensionless parameter, called the threshold-crossing intensity, is defined as a measure of the threshold-crossing severity, which is equal to the ratio of the product of average number of crossing events per unit time and mean threshold-crossing duration and amplitude over the threshold. It is found, by the calculation results for various combinations of stochastic processes and different thresholds, that the threshold-crossing intensity, irrelevant of the threshold and spectral density of the process, is dependent only on the threshold-crossing probability.
文摘Statistical thermodynamics allows us to estimate atomistic interactions in interstitial non-stoichiometric compounds MXx through analysis of experimentally determined pressure-temperature-composition (PTC) relationships for MXx being in equilibrium with X2 in gaseous state?(X=H,N,P or S)?or for non-stoichiometric carbide MCx being in equilibrium with excess C. In case of analysis for MCx, chemical activity a(C) of C in place of partial pressure p(X2) of X2 gas must be known. On statistical modelling of crystal lattice structure for MXx, an a priori assumption of constant nearest-neighbour X-X interaction energy E(X-X) within a homogeneity composition range at arbitrary temperature T was accepted to determine number θ of available interstitial sites for occupation by X atoms per M atom. Values of interaction parame-ters estimated as such appear rational and realistic noting consistency of the values for M’s in the same group in the Periodic Table of the Elements and compatibility with enthalpy values evaluated by conventional thermodynamic approach. Engineering insights gained for MXx through analysis of atomistic interaction parameter values evaluated by the statistical thermodynamics are reviewed comprehensively in this paper. M might be substitutional alloy A1-yBy composed of constituents, A and B, or MZz containing another interstitial constituent Z besides X. Insights acquired from this line of statistical thermodynamic analysis appear to be of pragmatic use for advanced alloy design as shall be demonstrated hereafter.
文摘On February 10,2022,the U.S.Food and Drug Administration(FDA)’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 14-1 against using data from the ORIENT-11 trial to support a biologics license application for sintilimab injection plus pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy as first-line treatment for patients with nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)1.One major reason was that the FDA claimed overall survival(OS)was not statistically tested in ORIENT-11,while previous regular approvals were granted on the basis of statistically significant improvements in OS2.This may be a surprise to some physicians,as the ORIENT-11 trial previously reported improved OS with a hazard ratio(HR)of 0.60(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.45–0.79)and a P value of 0.00033,which is far below the commonly accepted threshold of 0.05 for declaring statistical significance.Some may argue that the OS results of ORIENT-11 were not considered statistically significant by the FDA because OS was only a secondary endpoint.However,in the KEYNOTE-024 trial4,which compared pembrolizumab with chemotherapy in patients with previously untreated advanced NSCLC with PD-L1 expression on at least 50%of tumor cells,OS was also a secondary endpoint.Nevertheless,the OS benefit of the KEYNOTE-024 trial was acknowledged by the FDA and included in the drug label5.The fundamental reason why OS results of ORIENT-11 were not considered statistically significant by the FDA is that the OS endpoint was not included in the multiplicity control strategy.
文摘The present study aims to establish a relationship between serum AMH levels and age in a large group of women living in Bulgaria, as well as to establish reference age-specific AMH levels in women that would serve as an initial estimate of ovarian age. A total of 28,016 women on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria were tested for serum AMH levels with a median age of 37.0 years (interquartile range 32.0 to 41.0). For women aged 20 - 29 years, the Bulgarian population has relatively high median levels of AMH, similar to women of Asian origin. For women aged 30 - 34 years, our results are comparable to those of women living in Western Europe. For women aged 35 - 39 years, our results are comparable to those of women living in the territory of India and Kenya. For women aged 40 - 44 years, our results were lower than those for women from the Western European and Chinese populations, close to the Indian and higher than Korean and Kenya populations, respectively. Our results for women of Bulgarian origin are also comparable to US Latina women at age 30, 35 and 40 ages. On the base on constructed a statistical model to predicting the decline in AMH levels at different ages, we found non-linear structure of AMH decline for the low AMH 3.5) the dependence of the decline of AMH on age was confirmed as linear. In conclusion, we evaluated the serum level of AMH in Bulgarian women and established age-specific AMH percentile reference values based on a large representative sample. We have developed a prognostic statistical model that can facilitate the application of AMH in clinical practice and the prediction of reproductive capacity and population health.
文摘The manufacturing industry is an important pillar of the national economy.It is of vital importance to develop statistical modellings in order to quantify the relationship between potential internal drivers and the trend of output values in the manufacturing industry.However,only a few statistical modellings have been established to investigate such associations.This study developed the correlation coefficient model and generalized linear model(GLM)to measure the single and interactive effects of the internal drivers on the changes of the output values.For the GLM,different predictive variables were developed to fit into the dataset,and the performance of the models were compared using fitness parameters.Furthermore,an industry survey dataset for 1,180 manufacturing enterprises in 2020 was used to validate the models.The use of the GLM combining land area,number of employees,scientific research input,and labor productivity may have a great potential to bolster capacity in monitoring and predicting the trend of output values in the manufacture industry.
