In this paper,the forecasting equations of a 2nd-order space-time differential remainder are deduced from the Navier-Stokes primitive equations and Eulerian operator by Taylor-series expansion.Here we introduce a cubi...In this paper,the forecasting equations of a 2nd-order space-time differential remainder are deduced from the Navier-Stokes primitive equations and Eulerian operator by Taylor-series expansion.Here we introduce a cubic spline numerical model(Spline Model for short),which is with a quasi-Lagrangian time-split integration scheme of fitting cubic spline/bicubic surface to all physical variable fields in the atmospheric equations on spherical discrete latitude-longitude mesh.A new algorithm of"fitting cubic spline—time step integration—fitting cubic spline—……"is developed to determine their first-and2nd-order derivatives and their upstream points for time discrete integral to the governing equations in Spline Model.And the cubic spline function and its mathematical polarities are also discussed to understand the Spline Model’s mathematical foundation of numerical analysis.It is pointed out that the Spline Model has mathematical laws of"convergence"of the cubic spline functions contracting to the original functions as well as its 1st-order and 2nd-order derivatives.The"optimality"of the 2nd-order derivative of the cubic spline functions is optimal approximation to that of the original functions.In addition,a Hermite bicubic patch is equivalent to operate on a grid for a 2nd-order derivative variable field.Besides,the slopes and curvatures of a central difference are identified respectively,with a smoothing coefficient of 1/3,three-point smoothing of that of a cubic spline.Then the slopes and curvatures of a central difference are calculated from the smoothing coefficient 1/3 and three-point smoothing of that of a cubic spline,respectively.Furthermore,a global simulation case of adiabatic,non-frictional and"incompressible"model atmosphere is shown with the quasi-Lagrangian time integration by using a global Spline Model,whose initial condition comes from the NCEP reanalysis data,along with quasi-uniform latitude-longitude grids and the so-called"shallow atmosphere"Navier-Stokes primitive equations in the spherical coordinates.The Spline Model,which adopted the Navier-Stokes primitive equations and quasi-Lagrangian time-split integration scheme,provides an initial ideal case of global atmospheric circulation.In addition,considering the essentially non-linear atmospheric motions,the Spline Model could judge reasonably well simple points of any smoothed variable field according to its fitting spline curvatures that must conform to its physical interpretation.展开更多

Due to continuous increment in electricity demand and the difficulties associated with n...Based on conventional static line rating method, the actual current carrying capability of overhead conductors cannot be judged. Due to continuous increment in electricity demand and the difficulties associated with new line constructions, the overhead lines are therefore required to be rated based on a method that should establish their real-time capability in terms of electricity transmission. The method used to determine the real-time ampacity of overhead conductors not only can enhance their transmission capacity but can also help in allowing excessive renewable generation in the electricity network. In this research work, the issues related to analyzing an impact of wind power on periodical loading of overhead line as well as finding its static and dynamic ampacities with line current are investigated in detail. Moreover, the investigation related to finding a suitable location for the construction of a 60 MW wind farm is taken on board. Thereafter, the wind park is integrated with a regional grid, owned by Fortum Distribution AB. In addition to that, the electricity generated from the wind park is also calculated in this project. Later on, the work is devoted to finding the static and dynamic line ratings for “VL3” overhead conductor by using IEEE-738-2006 standard. Furthermore, the project also deals with finding the line current and making its comparison with maximum capacity of overhead conductor (VL3) for loading it in such a way that no any violation of safe ground clearance requirements is observed at all. Besides, the line current, knowing the conductor temperature when it transmits the required electricity in the presence of wind power generation is also an important factor to be taken into consideration. Therefore, based on real-time ambient conditions with actual line loading and with the help of IEEE-738-2006 standard, the conductor temperature is also calculated in this project. At the end, an economic analysis is performed to evaluate the financial advantages related to applying the dynamic line ratings approach in place of traditional static line ratings technique across an overhead conductor (VL3) and to know how much beneficial it is to temporarily postpone the rebuilding and/or construction of a new transmission line. Furthermore, an economic analysis related to wind power system is taken into consideration as well to get familiar with the costs related to building and connecting a 60 MW wind farm with the regional grid.展开更多

Large quantities of blast furnace(BF) slag and CO_2 are discharged annually from iron and steel industries, along with a large amount of waste heat.The mineral carbonation of BF slag can not only reduce emissions of s...Large quantities of blast furnace(BF) slag and CO_2 are discharged annually from iron and steel industries, along with a large amount of waste heat.The mineral carbonation of BF slag can not only reduce emissions of solid waste but also realize the in-situ fixation of CO_2 with low energy consumption if integrated with the waste heat utilization.In this study, based on our previous works, Aspen Plus was employed to simulate and optimize the carbonation process and integrate the process energy.The effects of gehlenite extraction, MgSO_4 carbonation,and aluminum ammonium sulfate crystallization were studied systematically.The simulation results demonstrate that 2.57 kg of BF slag can sequester 1 kg of CO_2, requiring 5.34 MJ of energy(3.3 MJ heat and 2.04 MJ electricity), and this energy includes the capture of CO_2 from industrial flue gases.Approximately 60 kg net CO_2 emission reduction could be achieved for the disposal of one ton of BF slag.In addition, the by-product,aluminum ammonium sulfate, is a high value-added product.Preliminary economic analysis indicates that the profit for the whole process is 1127 CNY per ton of BF slag processed.展开更多

The individual implementation of MSSs is an option that leads to several inefficiencies and sub-optimization of the global management system of an organization. As referred by ISO [1] the interested parties’ requirements increase. A more effective and efficient option for an organization is to integrate, into an integrated management system (IMS), the implementation and management of requirements of multiple MSSs. Certain difficulties are associated to the structuring process, implementation, verification, evaluation, improvement and progressive development of an IMS in the organizations. Several scholars have proposed various theoretical approaches regarding the integration of individual management systems (MSs) leading to the conclusion that there is not a common practice for all organizations as they encompass different characteristics. This paper aims to present and justify a designed methodology to be used by organizations to support the integration of various MSs. Among them are highlighted: the Environmental Management System (EMS) according ISO 14001 [2], the Quality Management System (QMS) according ISO 9001 [3], and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH & SMS) according OHSAS 18001 [4]. The methodology was designed in the context of a Portuguese company, on sequence of an organizational diagnosis and a research that was performed through a questionnaire. Previous research utilizing Cartoon Generative Adversarial Network(CartoonGAN)has encountered limitations in managing intricate outlines and accurately representing lighting effects,particularly in complex scenes requ...Previous research utilizing Cartoon Generative Adversarial Network(CartoonGAN)has encountered limitations in managing intricate outlines and accurately representing lighting effects,particularly in complex scenes requiring detailed shading and contrast.This paper presents a novel Enhanced Pixel Integration(EPI)technique designed to improve the visual quality of images generated by CartoonGAN.Rather than modifying the core model,the EPI approach employs post-processing adjustments that enhance images without significant computational overhead.In this method,images produced by CartoonGAN are converted from Red-Green-Blue(RGB)to Hue-Saturation-Value(HSV)format,allowing for precise adjustments in hue,saturation,and brightness,thereby improving color fidelity.Specific correction values are applied to fine-tune colors,ensuring they closely match the original input while maintaining the characteristic,stylized effect of CartoonGAN.The corrected images are blended with the originals to retain aesthetic appeal and visual distinctiveness,resulting in improved color accuracy and overall coherence.Experimental results demonstrate that EPI significantly increases similarity to original input images compared to the standard CartoonGAN model,achieving a 40.14%enhancement in visual similarity in Learned Perceptual Image Patch Similarity(LPIPS),a 30.21%improvement in structural consistency in Structural Similarity Index Measure(SSIM),and an 11.81%reduction in pixel-level error in Mean Squared Error(MSE).By addressing limitations present in the traditional CartoonGAN pipeline,EPI offers practical enhancements for creative applications,particularly within media and design fields where visual fidelity and artistic style preservation are critical.These improvements align with the goals of Fog and Edge Computing,which also seek to enhance processing efficiency and application performance in sensitive industries such as healthcare,logistics,and education.This research not only resolves key deficiencies in existing CartoonGAN models but also expands its potential applications in image-based content creation,bridging gaps between technical constraints and creative demands.Future studies may explore the adaptability of EPI across various datasets and artistic styles,potentially broadening its impact on visual transformation tasks.展开更多
The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores t...The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores the methods and challenges of integrating TCM theory into clinical internships for medical students at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A mixed-methods approach was employed,combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with medical students,clinical instructors,and TCM practitioners.The results indicate that while students generally recognize the relevance and benefits of TCM in enhancing diagnostic skills and promoting a holistic understanding of health,several challenges remain.These include the lack of standardized TCM training,limited practical exposure to TCM diagnostic methods,and resistance from some clinical instructors.Despite these challenges,students expressed a strong desire for more structured TCM training and greater support from instructors.Based on the findings,the study recommends the standardization of TCM curricula,enhanced professional development for instructors,and increased collaboration between Western and TCM practitioners.The study concludes that the integration of TCM into medical education can significantly improve student clinical skills and patient care outcomes if appropriately structured and supported.展开更多

University, Bhagalpur, India, January 3-4, 2015. Information is widely distributed across many remote, distributed, and autonomous databases (local component databases) in heterogeneous formats. The integration of heterogeneous remote databases is a difficult task, and it has already been addressed by several projects to certain extents. In this chapter, we have discussed how to integrate heterogeneous distributed local relational databases because of their simplicity, excellent security, performance, power, flexibility, data independence, support for new hardware technologies, and spread across the globe. We have also discussed how to constitute a global conceptual schema in the multidatabase system using Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise’s Component Integration Services (CIS) and OmniConnect. This is feasible for higher education institutions and commercial industries as well. Considering the higher educational institutions, the CIS will improve IT integration for educational institutions with their subsidiaries or with other institutions within the country and abroad in terms of educational management, teaching, learning, and research, including promoting international students’ academic integration, collaboration, and governance. This will prove an innovative strategy to support the modernization and large expansion of academic institutions. This will be considered IT-institutional alignment within a higher education context. This will also support achieving one of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations: “Goal 4: ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning”. However, the process of IT integration into higher educational institutions must be thoroughly evaluated, identifying the vital data access points. In this chapter, Section 1 provides an introduction, including the evolution of various database systems, data models, and the emergence of multidatabase systems and their importance. Section 2 discusses component integration services (CIS), OmniConnect and considering heterogeneous relational distributed local databases from the perspective of academics, Section 3 discusses the Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), Section 4 discusses the role of component integration services and OmniConnect of Sybase ASE under the Multidatabase System, Section 5 shows the database architectural framework, Section 6 provides an implementation overview of the global conceptual schema in the multidatabase system, Section 7 discusses query processing in the CIS, and finally, Section 8 concludes the chapter. The chapter will help our students a lot, as we have discussed well the evolution of databases and data models and the emergence of multidatabases. This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural...This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization.By examining panel data from 30 Chinese provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities between 2011 and 2022,the research constructs a weight-based evaluation system that integrates subjective and objective methods and a coupling coordination model to reveal its dynamic evolution patterns.Key findings indicate that digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization achieve cross-coupling through critical activities.The impact of digital-agriculture integration on advancing rural revitalization lags by 2–3 years.Although the coupling development degree between the two systems continues to improve,it remains at the stage of primary coordination.Regional disparities are significant,showing a gradient pattern of“high degree of coupling development in the east and low degree of coupling development in the west.”展开更多
Selective eating among toddlers is a well-known phenomenon which is characterized by varied factors including nutritional deficits and a unique and challenging sensory profile.Our clinical experience in a multidiscipl...Selective eating among toddlers is a well-known phenomenon which is characterized by varied factors including nutritional deficits and a unique and challenging sensory profile.Our clinical experience in a multidisciplinary feeding and eating clinic,in Hadassah Medical Center of Jerusalem binds specific feeding and eating patterns with high levels of parental stress ll.Parental stress is combined by three domains:parental general approach of satisfaction,the quality of interaction with child and child’s temperament,as perceived by parent.Our cross-sectional research includes 42 pairs of parents and their children,referring the clinic due to selective eating and suspected sensory integration disorder.Our study includes a broad nutritional assessment,questionnaires testing parental stress(PSI-4)and questionnaires testing sensory integration(Toddler Sensory Profile-2)and anthropometric indices.Our study’s results are relevant family physicians and pediatricians working in the community,who address diagnosis like autistic spectrum disorder,attention deficit hyperactive disorder,developmental delay,and learning disabilities that interface with domains of parental stress and experience of parenting interaction and child temperament,as well as sensory integration and limited eating and nutrition.Research results are significant in the field of locating babies and families needing early intervention and as a base of promoting intervention programs of prevention and treatment of toddlers and their parents.It is important to apply suitable intervention programs based on a reflective manner about dyadic and triadic eating and feeding relations,in the family unit,considering the cultural context.展开更多
In reliability analyses,the absence of a priori information on the most probable point of failure(MPP)may result in overlooking critical points,thereby leading to biased assessment outcomes.Moreover,second-order relia...In reliability analyses,the absence of a priori information on the most probable point of failure(MPP)may result in overlooking critical points,thereby leading to biased assessment outcomes.Moreover,second-order reliability methods exhibit limited accuracy in highly nonlinear scenarios.To overcome these challenges,a novel reliability analysis strategy based on a multimodal differential evolution algorithm and a hypersphere integration method is proposed.Initially,the penalty function method is employed to reformulate the MPP search problem as a conditionally constrained optimization task.Subsequently,a differential evolution algorithm incorporating a population delineation strategy is utilized to identify all MPPs.Finally,a paraboloid equation is constructed based on the curvature of the limit-state function at the MPPs,and the failure probability of the structure is calculated by using the hypersphere integration method.The localization effectiveness of the MPPs is compared through multiple numerical cases and two engineering examples,with accuracy comparisons of failure probabilities against the first-order reliability method(FORM)and the secondorder reliability method(SORM).The results indicate that the method effectively identifies existing MPPs and achieves higher solution precision.展开更多

文摘In this paper,the forecasting equations of a 2nd-order space-time differential remainder are deduced from the Navier-Stokes primitive equations and Eulerian operator by Taylor-series expansion.Here we introduce a cubic spline numerical model(Spline Model for short),which is with a quasi-Lagrangian time-split integration scheme of fitting cubic spline/bicubic surface to all physical variable fields in the atmospheric equations on spherical discrete latitude-longitude mesh.A new algorithm of"fitting cubic spline—time step integration—fitting cubic spline—……"is developed to determine their first-and2nd-order derivatives and their upstream points for time discrete integral to the governing equations in Spline Model.And the cubic spline function and its mathematical polarities are also discussed to understand the Spline Model’s mathematical foundation of numerical analysis.It is pointed out that the Spline Model has mathematical laws of"convergence"of the cubic spline functions contracting to the original functions as well as its 1st-order and 2nd-order derivatives.The"optimality"of the 2nd-order derivative of the cubic spline functions is optimal approximation to that of the original functions.In addition,a Hermite bicubic patch is equivalent to operate on a grid for a 2nd-order derivative variable field.Besides,the slopes and curvatures of a central difference are identified respectively,with a smoothing coefficient of 1/3,three-point smoothing of that of a cubic spline.Then the slopes and curvatures of a central difference are calculated from the smoothing coefficient 1/3 and three-point smoothing of that of a cubic spline,respectively.Furthermore,a global simulation case of adiabatic,non-frictional and"incompressible"model atmosphere is shown with the quasi-Lagrangian time integration by using a global Spline Model,whose initial condition comes from the NCEP reanalysis data,along with quasi-uniform latitude-longitude grids and the so-called"shallow atmosphere"Navier-Stokes primitive equations in the spherical coordinates.The Spline Model,which adopted the Navier-Stokes primitive equations and quasi-Lagrangian time-split integration scheme,provides an initial ideal case of global atmospheric circulation.In addition,considering the essentially non-linear atmospheric motions,the Spline Model could judge reasonably well simple points of any smoothed variable field according to its fitting spline curvatures that must conform to its physical interpretation.
文摘This article is a case study of an innovative academic health sciences library initiative that describes the planning and events in the inaugural year of a new library research program. In response to emerging trends in health sciences libraries to increase research skills of librarians in order to foster expanded research integration within the health sciences disciplines,the University of Michigan Taubman Health Sciences Library established an EXPERT Research Initiative. This new program is part of the strategic planning for the future of the library and is focused on three primary goals: expanding the library's research portfolio,building librarians' research skills and competencies,and increasing the library's research visibility. The article highlights five library projects that illustrate the different kinds of research collaborations librarians are engaged in with health sciences faculty,researchers,clinicians,and students.

文摘Based on conventional static line rating method, the actual current carrying capability of overhead conductors cannot be judged. Due to continuous increment in electricity demand and the difficulties associated with new line constructions, the overhead lines are therefore required to be rated based on a method that should establish their real-time capability in terms of electricity transmission. The method used to determine the real-time ampacity of overhead conductors not only can enhance their transmission capacity but can also help in allowing excessive renewable generation in the electricity network. In this research work, the issues related to analyzing an impact of wind power on periodical loading of overhead line as well as finding its static and dynamic ampacities with line current are investigated in detail. Moreover, the investigation related to finding a suitable location for the construction of a 60 MW wind farm is taken on board. Thereafter, the wind park is integrated with a regional grid, owned by Fortum Distribution AB. In addition to that, the electricity generated from the wind park is also calculated in this project. Later on, the work is devoted to finding the static and dynamic line ratings for “VL3” overhead conductor by using IEEE-738-2006 standard. Furthermore, the project also deals with finding the line current and making its comparison with maximum capacity of overhead conductor (VL3) for loading it in such a way that no any violation of safe ground clearance requirements is observed at all. Besides, the line current, knowing the conductor temperature when it transmits the required electricity in the presence of wind power generation is also an important factor to be taken into consideration. Therefore, based on real-time ambient conditions with actual line loading and with the help of IEEE-738-2006 standard, the conductor temperature is also calculated in this project. At the end, an economic analysis is performed to evaluate the financial advantages related to applying the dynamic line ratings approach in place of traditional static line ratings technique across an overhead conductor (VL3) and to know how much beneficial it is to temporarily postpone the rebuilding and/or construction of a new transmission line. Furthermore, an economic analysis related to wind power system is taken into consideration as well to get familiar with the costs related to building and connecting a 60 MW wind farm with the regional grid.

Included are remarks on multiple solutions, multi-step methods, effect of initial value perturbations, as well as slowing and advancing the computed motion in second order problems.

文摘Large quantities of blast furnace(BF) slag and CO_2 are discharged annually from iron and steel industries, along with a large amount of waste heat.The mineral carbonation of BF slag can not only reduce emissions of solid waste but also realize the in-situ fixation of CO_2 with low energy consumption if integrated with the waste heat utilization.In this study, based on our previous works, Aspen Plus was employed to simulate and optimize the carbonation process and integrate the process energy.The effects of gehlenite extraction, MgSO_4 carbonation,and aluminum ammonium sulfate crystallization were studied systematically.The simulation results demonstrate that 2.57 kg of BF slag can sequester 1 kg of CO_2, requiring 5.34 MJ of energy(3.3 MJ heat and 2.04 MJ electricity), and this energy includes the capture of CO_2 from industrial flue gases.Approximately 60 kg net CO_2 emission reduction could be achieved for the disposal of one ton of BF slag.In addition, the by-product,aluminum ammonium sulfate, is a high value-added product.Preliminary economic analysis indicates that the profit for the whole process is 1127 CNY per ton of BF slag processed.
文摘Traditionally the global management system of an organization is frequently split into a number of individual management systems that are defined and implemented according to specific management systems standards (MSSs) as well as managed independently. The individual implementation of MSSs is an option that leads to several inefficiencies and sub-optimization of the global management system of an organization. As referred by ISO [1] the interested parties’ requirements increase. A more effective and efficient option for an organization is to integrate, into an integrated management system (IMS), the implementation and management of requirements of multiple MSSs. Certain difficulties are associated to the structuring process, implementation, verification, evaluation, improvement and progressive development of an IMS in the organizations. Several scholars have proposed various theoretical approaches regarding the integration of individual management systems (MSs) leading to the conclusion that there is not a common practice for all organizations as they encompass different characteristics. This paper aims to present and justify a designed methodology to be used by organizations to support the integration of various MSs. Among them are highlighted: the Environmental Management System (EMS) according ISO 14001 [2], the Quality Management System (QMS) according ISO 9001 [3], and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH & SMS) according OHSAS 18001 [4]. The methodology was designed in the context of a Portuguese company, on sequence of an organizational diagnosis and a research that was performed through a questionnaire. The strategy and the research methods took into consideration the case study.

文摘Promoting urban-rural integration and facilitating the bidirectional flow of urban and rural elements are core spatial objectives in the new era of China.The urban-rural fringe represents the region with the most intense interaction between urban and rural areas,serving as a key zone for breaking down barriers and promoting urban-rural integration.Based on a systematic review of representative case studies and scholarly literature,this paper synthesizes the evolving research perspectives on the urban-rural fringe,with particular attention to how data-driven approaches that integrate official statistics,remote sensing imagery,points of interest,and mobile phone signaling data have advanced the characterization of fringe features,refined identification methods,and revealed emerging developmental trends through spatial clustering and machine learning classification.It proposes an integrated analytical framework encompassing administrative boundaries,economic metabolism,social activities,material infrastructure,and the ecological environment.The paper further examines the characteristics and emerging development trends of urban-rural fringe areas and advances a set of strategic directions to support urban-rural integration and more efficient resource allocation.These include expanding analytical dimensions,enhancing data integration,refining identification criteria,elucidating mechanisms of internal and external interactions,and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration.Collectively,these efforts offer actionable insights for optimizing public service delivery,directing infrastructure investment in transportation and utilities,delineating ecological conservation boundaries,and implementing place-based socioeconomic revitalization strategies in the urban-rural fringe regions.

文摘Previous research utilizing Cartoon Generative Adversarial Network(CartoonGAN)has encountered limitations in managing intricate outlines and accurately representing lighting effects,particularly in complex scenes requiring detailed shading and contrast.This paper presents a novel Enhanced Pixel Integration(EPI)technique designed to improve the visual quality of images generated by CartoonGAN.Rather than modifying the core model,the EPI approach employs post-processing adjustments that enhance images without significant computational overhead.In this method,images produced by CartoonGAN are converted from Red-Green-Blue(RGB)to Hue-Saturation-Value(HSV)format,allowing for precise adjustments in hue,saturation,and brightness,thereby improving color fidelity.Specific correction values are applied to fine-tune colors,ensuring they closely match the original input while maintaining the characteristic,stylized effect of CartoonGAN.The corrected images are blended with the originals to retain aesthetic appeal and visual distinctiveness,resulting in improved color accuracy and overall coherence.Experimental results demonstrate that EPI significantly increases similarity to original input images compared to the standard CartoonGAN model,achieving a 40.14%enhancement in visual similarity in Learned Perceptual Image Patch Similarity(LPIPS),a 30.21%improvement in structural consistency in Structural Similarity Index Measure(SSIM),and an 11.81%reduction in pixel-level error in Mean Squared Error(MSE).By addressing limitations present in the traditional CartoonGAN pipeline,EPI offers practical enhancements for creative applications,particularly within media and design fields where visual fidelity and artistic style preservation are critical.These improvements align with the goals of Fog and Edge Computing,which also seek to enhance processing efficiency and application performance in sensitive industries such as healthcare,logistics,and education.This research not only resolves key deficiencies in existing CartoonGAN models but also expands its potential applications in image-based content creation,bridging gaps between technical constraints and creative demands.Future studies may explore the adaptability of EPI across various datasets and artistic styles,potentially broadening its impact on visual transformation tasks.
文摘The integration of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)into clinical education presents an opportunity to enhance medical training by providing students with a more holistic approach to patient care.This study explores the methods and challenges of integrating TCM theory into clinical internships for medical students at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A mixed-methods approach was employed,combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with medical students,clinical instructors,and TCM practitioners.The results indicate that while students generally recognize the relevance and benefits of TCM in enhancing diagnostic skills and promoting a holistic understanding of health,several challenges remain.These include the lack of standardized TCM training,limited practical exposure to TCM diagnostic methods,and resistance from some clinical instructors.Despite these challenges,students expressed a strong desire for more structured TCM training and greater support from instructors.Based on the findings,the study recommends the standardization of TCM curricula,enhanced professional development for instructors,and increased collaboration between Western and TCM practitioners.The study concludes that the integration of TCM into medical education can significantly improve student clinical skills and patient care outcomes if appropriately structured and supported.
文摘The book chapter is an extended version of the research paper entitled “Use of Component Integration Services in Multidatabase Systems”, which is presented and published by the 13<sup>th</sup> ISITA, the National Conference of Recent Trends in Mathematical and Computer Sciences, T.M.B. University, Bhagalpur, India, January 3-4, 2015. Information is widely distributed across many remote, distributed, and autonomous databases (local component databases) in heterogeneous formats. The integration of heterogeneous remote databases is a difficult task, and it has already been addressed by several projects to certain extents. In this chapter, we have discussed how to integrate heterogeneous distributed local relational databases because of their simplicity, excellent security, performance, power, flexibility, data independence, support for new hardware technologies, and spread across the globe. We have also discussed how to constitute a global conceptual schema in the multidatabase system using Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise’s Component Integration Services (CIS) and OmniConnect. This is feasible for higher education institutions and commercial industries as well. Considering the higher educational institutions, the CIS will improve IT integration for educational institutions with their subsidiaries or with other institutions within the country and abroad in terms of educational management, teaching, learning, and research, including promoting international students’ academic integration, collaboration, and governance. This will prove an innovative strategy to support the modernization and large expansion of academic institutions. This will be considered IT-institutional alignment within a higher education context. This will also support achieving one of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations: “Goal 4: ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning”. However, the process of IT integration into higher educational institutions must be thoroughly evaluated, identifying the vital data access points. In this chapter, Section 1 provides an introduction, including the evolution of various database systems, data models, and the emergence of multidatabase systems and their importance. Section 2 discusses component integration services (CIS), OmniConnect and considering heterogeneous relational distributed local databases from the perspective of academics, Section 3 discusses the Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), Section 4 discusses the role of component integration services and OmniConnect of Sybase ASE under the Multidatabase System, Section 5 shows the database architectural framework, Section 6 provides an implementation overview of the global conceptual schema in the multidatabase system, Section 7 discusses query processing in the CIS, and finally, Section 8 concludes the chapter. The chapter will help our students a lot, as we have discussed well the evolution of databases and data models and the emergence of multidatabases. Since some additional useful information is cited, the source of information for each citation is properly mentioned in the references column.

文摘This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization.By examining panel data from 30 Chinese provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities between 2011 and 2022,the research constructs a weight-based evaluation system that integrates subjective and objective methods and a coupling coordination model to reveal its dynamic evolution patterns.Key findings indicate that digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization achieve cross-coupling through critical activities.The impact of digital-agriculture integration on advancing rural revitalization lags by 2–3 years.Although the coupling development degree between the two systems continues to improve,it remains at the stage of primary coordination.Regional disparities are significant,showing a gradient pattern of“high degree of coupling development in the east and low degree of coupling development in the west.”
文摘Selective eating among toddlers is a well-known phenomenon which is characterized by varied factors including nutritional deficits and a unique and challenging sensory profile.Our clinical experience in a multidisciplinary feeding and eating clinic,in Hadassah Medical Center of Jerusalem binds specific feeding and eating patterns with high levels of parental stress ll.Parental stress is combined by three domains:parental general approach of satisfaction,the quality of interaction with child and child’s temperament,as perceived by parent.Our cross-sectional research includes 42 pairs of parents and their children,referring the clinic due to selective eating and suspected sensory integration disorder.Our study includes a broad nutritional assessment,questionnaires testing parental stress(PSI-4)and questionnaires testing sensory integration(Toddler Sensory Profile-2)and anthropometric indices.Our study’s results are relevant family physicians and pediatricians working in the community,who address diagnosis like autistic spectrum disorder,attention deficit hyperactive disorder,developmental delay,and learning disabilities that interface with domains of parental stress and experience of parenting interaction and child temperament,as well as sensory integration and limited eating and nutrition.Research results are significant in the field of locating babies and families needing early intervention and as a base of promoting intervention programs of prevention and treatment of toddlers and their parents.It is important to apply suitable intervention programs based on a reflective manner about dyadic and triadic eating and feeding relations,in the family unit,considering the cultural context.

文摘In reliability analyses,the absence of a priori information on the most probable point of failure(MPP)may result in overlooking critical points,thereby leading to biased assessment outcomes.Moreover,second-order reliability methods exhibit limited accuracy in highly nonlinear scenarios.To overcome these challenges,a novel reliability analysis strategy based on a multimodal differential evolution algorithm and a hypersphere integration method is proposed.Initially,the penalty function method is employed to reformulate the MPP search problem as a conditionally constrained optimization task.Subsequently,a differential evolution algorithm incorporating a population delineation strategy is utilized to identify all MPPs.Finally,a paraboloid equation is constructed based on the curvature of the limit-state function at the MPPs,and the failure probability of the structure is calculated by using the hypersphere integration method.The localization effectiveness of the MPPs is compared through multiple numerical cases and two engineering examples,with accuracy comparisons of failure probabilities against the first-order reliability method(FORM)and the secondorder reliability method(SORM).The results indicate that the method effectively identifies existing MPPs and achieves higher solution precision.

文摘The integration of party construction and poverty alleviation and development is an important form of achieving poverty alleviation in China. Based on the actual case of the integration of the party branch construction of the Institute of Targeted Poverty Alleviation and Development of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and the construction of a third-party evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation,this paper elaborated the practical significance and integration path design of the grassroots party construction and targeted poverty alleviation thirdparty evaluation team construction in colleges and universities. Besides,it analyzed the typical case of the party branch in the process of building the party branch of the ' double leader' teachers in the national colleges and universities,and vigorously implementing the development of the party branch construction and the third-party evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation,and promoting double integration and double promotion. Finally,it came up with recommendations for further strengthening the development of the party branch construction and the thirdparty evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation( including strengthening the party construction responsibility,promoting the solid foundation,promoting deep integration,strengthening mutual promotion,gathering poverty alleviation talents,and strengthen intellectual support),so as to form a new model of poverty alleviation through party construction and practicing the lofty purpose of serving the poor household wholeheartedly,and provide a useful reference for the grassroots party construction in China to promote poverty alleviation.
