In this article, we consider a two-dimensional symmetric space-fractional diffusion equation in which the space fractional derivatives are defined in Riesz potential sense. The well-posed feature is guaranteed by energy inequality. To solve the diffusion equation, a fully discrete form is established by employing Crank-Nicolson technique in time and Galerkin finite element method in space. The stability and convergence are proved and the stiffness matrix is given analytically. Three numerical examples are given to confirm our theoretical analysis in which we find that even with the same initial condition, the classical and fractional diffusion equations perform differently but tend to be uniform diffusion at last. 展开更多

The stress combination method for the fatigue assessment of the hatch comer of a bulk carrier was investigated based on equivalent waves. The principles of the equivalent waves of ship structures were given, including the determination of the dominant load parameter, heading, frequency, and amplitude of the equivalent regular waves. The dominant load parameters of the hatch comer of a bulk carrier were identified by the structural stress response analysis, and then a series of equivalent regular waves were defined based on these parameters. A combination method of the structural stress ranges under the different equivalent waves was developed for the fatigue analysis. The combination factors were obtained by least square regression analysis with the stress ranges derived from spectral fatigue analysis as the target value. The proposed method was applied to the hatch comer of another bulk carrier as an example. This shows that the results from the equivalent wave approach agree well with those from the spectral fatigue analysis. The workload is reduced substantially. This method can be referenced in the fatigue assessment of the hatch comer of a bulk carrier. 展开更多

In this paper, simulation of InAs/GaAs quantum dot (QD) laser is performed based upon a set of eight rate equations for the carriers and photons in five energy states. Carrier dynamics in these lasers were under analysis and the rate equations are solved using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. We have shown that by increasing injected current to the active medium of laser, switching-on and stability time of the system would decrease and power peak and stationary power will be increased. Also, emission in any state will start when the lower state is saturated and remain steady. The results including P-I characteristic curve for the ground state (GS), first excited state (ES1), second excited state (ES2) and output power of the QD laser will be presented. 展开更多

A new acquisition and tracking method is proposed for signal processing under the new signal system structure of Beidou-3 navigation satellite system(BDS-3). By starting with the analysis of the characteristics and signal structure of the new signal, the local replica of the ranging code and the study of the characteristics of the ranging code are completed, which proves that the method in this paper can be used in the subsequent acquisition and tracking process. The fast Fourier transformation(FFT) search based on longer coherence time and the adaptive phase-frequency switching carrier tracking loop are proposed for signals in different modulation modes. The actual signal of Beidou-3 satellite is sampled by local experiment, and the acquisition and tracking of the Beidou-3 satellite multi-band signal is finally completed. The tracking results verify the feasibility of the proposed acquisition and tracking method. 展开更多

Considering the challenges posed by external disturbances on carrier-based aircraft land-ing control,higher demands are required for the precision and convergence of the carrier landingcontrol system.First,this paper proposes an Adaptive Terminal Sliding Combined Super TwistingControl(ATS-STC)method to address the issues of low precision,slow convergence,and poor dis-turbance rejection capability resulting from external disturbances,such as carrier air-wake and deckmotion.By introducing a nonlinear term into the sliding surface and employing an integralapproach,the proposed ATS-STC method can ensure finite-time convergence and mitigate the chat-tering problem.An adaptive law is also utilized to estimate the external disturbances,therebyenhancing the anti-disturbance performance.Then,the stability and convergence time analysis ofthe designed controller are conducted.Based on the proposed method,an Automatic Carrier Land-ing System(ACLS)is developed to perform the carrier landing control task.Furthermore,a multi-dimensional validation is carried out.For the numerical simulation test,the Terminal Sliding ModeControl(TSMC)method and Proportion Integration Differentiation(PID)method are introducedas comparison,the quantitative assessment results show that the tracking error of TSMC and PIDcan reach 1.5 times and 2 times that of the proposed method.Finally,the Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL)test and real flight test are conducted.All the experimental results demonstrate that the pro-posed control method is more effective and precise. 展开更多

Purpose–As an important part of the management of railway passenger transport,the rationality and effectiveness of the clearing method of railway passenger transport are directly related to the operating efficiency and service quality of railway passenger transport enterprises.This paper aims to comprehensively and deeply discuss the evolution and development process of China’s railway passenger transport clearing method,analyze its characteristics and influences in each stage,identify the main factors affecting its evolution and development and then put forward thoughts on improving the future development of the clearing method.Design/methodology/approach–Through a detailed review of the railway passenger transport clearing methods from the planned economy period to the reform and opening up period and into the new century,the basis,mode,subject and object of clearing in different development stages are systematically compared.Findings–It comprehensively reveals the evolution of the clearing method,sorted out the characteristics and changes of the clearing method at each stage and the adaptability to the development of railway passenger transport at that time.The characteristics of the development of clearing measures for railway passenger transport in different stages and their far-reaching influence on railway passenger transport business are deeply analyzed.Originality/value–This paper summarized the factors influencing the development of China’s railway passenger transportation clearing approach evolution,including the simplified rules of clearing,enhanced the market adaptability,establishing and perfecting the incentive mechanism,strengthening the construction of informatization,etc.This paper puts forward the ways to improve the railway passenger transportation clearing future development thinking. 展开更多

Under the condition of coarse carrier frequency synchronization, a digital tracking method based on least square method(LSM) is proved to be a quick, simple and efficient method. The proper argon flow rate range obtained was 150-500 mL/min and enough evidence was provided to verify the vapor pressure-flow rate of carrier gas relationship at the target temperature. Based on the proper flow rate range, the vapor pressure of liquid copper was measured at 1609-1892 K. The relationship of vapor pressure-temperature obtained by the method of regression analysis can be expressed as: In(p/Pa) = (25.470 -I- 0.903) - (39099.8 -4- 1574.5)/T, Further, the thermodynamic properties including the heat of vaporization and the Gibbs free energy of the Cu (I) = Cu (g) reaction were calculated by the vapor pressiJre obtained over the temperature range covered. 展开更多

Experimental results confirm that the digital PGC demodulation can be used for wavelength-division-multiplexed FBG sensor array and the reference compensation method can reduce the environmental interference by approximately 40 dB in the frequency range from 20 Hz to 2 kHz. The Product Development and Management Association(PDMA)comparative performance assessment studies(CPAS)teach us that the new product development(NPD)and innovation management practices continue to evolve.However,advances in the practice of NPD and innovation did not yield significant increases in new product success rates.However,the PDMA 2003 CPAS reported a significant difference in the success rates for top performing businesses versus the"rest".This paper summarizes innovation practices of top performing businesses from CPAS and compares them with the practices of PDMA Outstanding Corporate Innovator(OCI)Award winning companies.The paper verifies that what the top performers say they do in research surveys is actually what the outstanding corporate innovators do in practice.The paper then raises the question of how underperforming companies can implement key learnings from the best to improve their own innovation performance.The development of Thota framework for innovation as a systematic framework to help underperformers implement the best practices is discussed.As a case study,the implementation of the Thota framework for innovation is illustrated with BMW,an OCI award winning company.The Thota Framework for Innovation is based on three organizing principles and eight actions.Underperforming businesses can improve their innovation performance by internalizing the three organizing principles and rigorously implementing eight actions specified in the Thota framework for innovation. 展开更多

Calcium sulfate(CaSO_(4))has been verified as a promising oxygen carrier(OC)in the chemical looping combustion(CLC)for its high oxygen capacity,abundant reserve and low cost,but its low reactivity and deleterious sulfur species emission from the side reactions of CaSO_(4) should be well considered for its wide application in CLC.In order to promote the reactivity of CaSO_(4) and increase its potential to inhibit the gaseous sulfur emission,a CeO_(2)-enhanced CaSO_(4) OC mixed OC of core–shell structure was prepared using the combined template synthesis method.Reaction characteristics of the prepared CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) mixed OC with a typical lignite was first conducted and systematically investigated,and an improved reactivity of the prepared CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) mixed OC was demonstrated than its single component CaSO_(4) or CeO_(2) due to the fast transfer and exchange of oxygen from the CaSO_(4) substrate to coal via the doped CeO_(2).Furthermore,the solid products formed from the mixed CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) OC with the selected coal were collected and analyzed.Especially,evolution and redistribution of the sulfur species of different forms were focused.At the latter reaction stage of YN reaction with the CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) mixed OC,the SO_(2) emitted from the side reactions of CaSO_(4) was greatly diminished and the doped CeO_(2) was proven effective to directionally fix the SO_(2) released to turn into different solid sulfur compounds,which were determined as Ce_(2)O_(2)S,Ce_(2)S_(3) and Ce_(2)(SO_(4))_(3)·5H_(2)O and formed through the different pathways.In addition,good regeneration of the reduced CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) mixed OC could be reached in spite of the unavoidable interaction between the included minerals in coal and the reduced mixed OC.Overall,the combined template method-made CaSO_(4)-CeO_(2) mixed OC reported herein was not only endowed with enhanced reactivity for coal conversion,but also owned the potential to directionally fix the gaseous sulfur emission,which is quite applicable as OC for simultaneous decarbonatization and desulfurization in the real CLC process. 展开更多

The study provided information on the rate of diffusion and percentage of drug release and also compared the penetration dynamics in the layers of the stratum corneum of both formulations. In the present study, we mainly focused on whether cell targeting or cell penetration could affect penetration abilities of nanostructured lipid carriers(NLC). Real--time penetration of folate--or cell penetrating peptide(CPP)-modified NLC was evaluated using a multicellular tumor spheroid(MTS) established by stacking culture method as an in vitro testing platform. The results suggested that CPP modification had a better penetration behavior both on penetration depth and intensity compared with folate-modified NLC at the early stage of penetration process. 展开更多

The original motivation is that we found the standard Z refinement relation is not adequate or correct when considering specifications that have temporal relationships of operations. The concept of temporal state variables is introduced into Z. Then new implementation relations are defined and new refinement relations are deduced, mainly for temporal state variables to process temporal relationships of operations. We use state transition systems to abstract the temporal state transitions. A simple example is used to show the procedures of MVORM. Finally some directions of further work are forwarded. 展开更多

This paper studies the radar cross section (RCS) of carrier electronic warfare airplanes. Under the typical naval operations section, the mathematical model of the radar wave's pitch angle incidence range analysis is established. Based on the CATIA software, considering dynamic deflec- tions of duck wing leading edge flaps, flaperons, horizontal tail, and rudder, as well as aircraft with air-to-air missile, anti-radiation missile, electronic jamming pod, and other weapons, the 3D models of carrier electronic warfare airplanes Model A and Model B with weapons were established. Based on the physical optics method and the equivalent electromagnetic flow method, by the use of the RCSAnsys software, the characteristics of carrier electronic warfare airplanes' RCS under steady and dynamic flights were simulated under the UHF, X, and S radar bands. This paper researches the detection probability of aircraft by radars under the condition of electronic warfare, and com- pletes the mathematical statistical analysis of the simulation results. The results show that: The Model A of carrier electronic warfare airplane is better than Model B on stealth performance and on discover probability by radar detection effectively. 展开更多

All-inorganic Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9)(CBI)halide perovskites are sought to be candidate for photoelectrical materials because of their low toxicity and satisfactory stability.Unfortunately,the discrete molecular[Bi2I9]3−clusters limit the charge-transport behaviors.Herein,the defect halide perovskite based on trivalent Bi^(3+)is expanded to Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(6)Br_(3)(CBIB).Centimeter-size CBIB single crystal(Φ15×70 mm^(3))was grown by the vertical Bridgeman method.The powder X-ray diffraction analysis shows that CBIB has structure with lattice parameters of a=b=8.223Å,c=10.024Å,α=β=90°andγ=120°.The density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the charge density distribution was enhanced after the dimensional expansion.The enhancement of carrier transport ability of(00l)in-plane is characterized before and after dimensional improvement.The obtained CBIB(001)exhibited an electron mobility up to 40.03 cm^(2)V^(−1)s^(−1)by time-of-flight(TOF)technique,higher than 26.46 cm^(2)V^(−1)s^(−1)of CBI(001).Furthermore,the X-ray sensitivity increases from 707.81μC Gy^(−1)cm^(−2)for CBI(001)to 3194.59μC Gy−1 cm^(−2)for CBIB(001).This research will deepen our understanding of Bi-based perovskite materials and afford more promising strategies for lead-free perovskite optoelectronic devices modification. 展开更多

从技术进步和生态环境保护两方面切入,运用合成控制法对我国西部大开发战略实施的转型升级效果进行评价,分析结果表明:在技术进步方面,自西部大开发战略以来,西部地区总体的全要素生产率(TFP)要高于合成西部地区,2000—2013年西部地区TF... 从技术进步和生态环境保护两方面切入,运用合成控制法对我国西部大开发战略实施的转型升级效果进行评价,分析结果表明:在技术进步方面,自西部大开发战略以来,西部地区总体的全要素生产率(TFP)要高于合成西部地区,2000—2013年西部地区TFP的年均增长率也高于合成西部地区,西部大开发战略的实施总体上促进了西部地区TFP的提高;在生态环境方面,西部地区的废气排放强度在2005年开始低于合成西部地区,废水排放强度在2010年开始低于合成西部地区,而固体废物排放强度持续高于合成西部地区,西部大开发战略的实施对西部地区生态环境的影响有正面的,也有负面,总体上看是积极的。进一步考虑生态环境的外部性及"中部崛起"和"振兴东北老工业基地"战略的实施等因素,西部大开发战略的实施对西部地区经济发展的转型升级是具有促进作用的。 展开更多
