Versioned geoscientific workflow for the collaborative geosimulation of human-nature interactions-a case study of global change and human activities

Global change refers to changes in the relationship between humans and nature.It is desirable to actively integrate human social activities into the unified framework of global change so that their mutual relations and functional mechanisms can be understood.This complicated issue necessitates an appropriate method allowing domain experts to collaboratively contribute their knowledge to geoscientific research.Also,an efficient approach to optimize experimentation is of great importance.The reproducibility of research methods and results needs to be improved to boost the sharing of geographic knowledge and resources.This paper proposes a versioned geoscientific workflow and characterizes its full lifecycle using Virtual Geographic Environments,intending to facilitate and improve research related to the interactions between global change and human activities.The geoscientific workflow management is realized using the concept of version management,making geographic simulation methods and computational results easily reproducible and extendable.The sharing and reuse of geographic knowledge in various forms are archived through version management of geoscientific workflows.A versatile prototype system is implemented which enables the visual modeling of geoscientific workflows,the interactive optimization and collaborative evaluation of geoscientific workflows at runtime,the multi-dimensional dynamic visualization of geo-workflow outputs,and role-based access control for data security. 展开更多

Background:In this study,we aimed to validate and test the reliability of the Yonsei lifestyle profile(YLP)in assessing multifaceted health lifestyle levels in a study population from the United States.Methods:The YLP-English version and health-promoting lifestyle profile II were administered to 100 individuals living in the United States.Concurrent validity was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient,and discriminant validity was examined by comparing sex and age differences through t-tests and multiple variance analysis.Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach'sαfor each sub-factor.Results:The YLP-English Version demonstrated concurrent validity with the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile II,showing consistent correlations for the total score(0.3,p<0.01)and frequency sub-factors(0.25-0.69,p<0.01).Among the satisfaction sub-factors,only nutrition showed a weak negative correlation(-0.19,p<0.01);all others were nonsignificant.Discriminant validity revealed no significant sex differences,but physical activity frequency varied across age groups.Internal consistency was high(Cronbach'sα=0.80-0.86).Conclusion:In this study,we validated the YLP-English version as a reliable instrument for assessing health-related lifestyle behaviors.The YLP uniquely captures both lifestyle frequency and satisfaction,offering a comprehensive perspective on health behaviors.Although this tool is currently most applicable in population-level studies,future research should establish clinical thresholds to enhance its utility in individualized health assessments and interventions. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Arabic-speaking patients are underrepresented in orthopedic clinical studies,particularly in foot and ankle trauma research.The lack of validated Arabic language tools hinders their inclusion,creating a need for culturally and linguistically adapted instruments.The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Foot and Ankle Outcomes Questionnaire(AAOS-FAOQ)is a widely used tool but has not been adapted for Arabic-speaking patients.AIM To translate,cross-culturally adapt,and validate the AAOS-FAOQ for Arabicspeaking patients with traumatic foot and ankle injuries.METHODS The cross-cultural adaptation followed established guidelines,involving forward and backward translations,expert review,and pre-testing.The final Arabic version was administered alongside the Arabic Short-Form 36(SF-36)to 100 patients for validity testing.Reliability was assessed through test-retest methods with 20 patients completing the questionnaire twice within 48 hours.Pearson correlation coefficients measured convergent and divergent validity with SF-36 subscales,while Cronbach's alpha and intraclass correlation coefficients(ICC)determined internal consistency and reliability.RESULTS Out of 100 patients,92 completed the first set of questionnaires.The Arabic AAOS-FAOQ showed strong correlations with the SF-36 subscales,particularly in physical function and bodily pain(r>0.6).Test-retest reliability was robust,with ICCs of 0.69 and 0.66 for the Global Foot and Ankle Scale and Shoe Comfort Scale,respectively.Cronbach's alpha for internal consistency ranged from 0.7 to 0.9.CONCLUSION The Arabic version of the AAOS-FAOQ demonstrated validity and reliability for use in Arabic-speaking patients with traumatic foot and ankle injuries.This adaptation will enhance the inclusion of this population in orthopedic clinical studies,improving the generalizability of research findings and patient care. 展开更多

IMLMA:An Intelligent Algorithm for Model Lifecycle Management with Automated Retraining,Versioning,and Monitoring

With the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence(AI)in domains such as power,transportation,and finance,the number of machine learning and deep learning models has grown exponentially.However,challenges such as delayed retraining,inconsistent version management,insufficient drift monitoring,and limited data security still hinder efficient and reliable model operations.To address these issues,this paper proposes the Intelligent Model Lifecycle Management Algorithm(IMLMA).The algorithm employs a dual-trigger mechanism based on both data volume thresholds and time intervals to automate retraining,and applies Bayesian optimization for adaptive hyperparameter tuning to improve performance.A multi-metric replacement strategy,incorporating MSE,MAE,and R2,ensures that new models replace existing ones only when performance improvements are guaranteed.A versioning and traceability database supports comparison and visualization,while real-time monitoring with stability analysis enables early warnings of latency and drift.Finally,hash-based integrity checks secure both model files and datasets.Experimental validation in a power metering operation scenario demonstrates that IMLMA reduces model update delays,enhances predictive accuracy and stability,and maintains low latency under high concurrency.This work provides a practical,reusable,and scalable solution for intelligent model lifecycle management,with broad applicability to complex systems such as smart grids. 展开更多

Analysis of influencing factors of psychological resilience in patients with traumatic fractures and its effect on posttraumatic growth

BACKGROUND Traumatic fractures are mainly caused by various exogenous traumatic events,which not only damage patients’physical health but also affect their psychological state and aggravate stress responses.AIM To analyze the influencing factors of psychological resilience of patients with traumatic fractures and the effect of psychological resilience on posttraumatic growth(PTG).METHODS This study included 188 patients with traumatic fractures admitted to the First People’s Hospital of Shangqiu from November 2022 to November 2023.The participants were categorized based on the patient’s psychological resilience assessed by the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)into the better resilience group(CD-RISC score≥60 points,n=80)and the poor resilience group(CD-RISC score<60 points,n=108).Patients’sleep quality was assessed with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).The identification of the influencing factors of psychological resilience in patients with traumatic fractures was realized by binary Logistic regression(with factors such as sex,age,injury cause,trauma severity,fracture site,personality,and PSQI included for analysis).The determination of the PTG status of all participants used the Chinese version of the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory(C-PTGI).Furthermore,a Spearman correlation analysis was conducted to analyze the association between psychological resilience and PTG.RESULTS The psychological resilience of patients with traumatic fractures was related to age,sex,trauma severity,and personality.The better resilience group demonstrated statistically lower PSQI scores than the poor resilience group(P<0.05).The Logistic regression analysis revealed sex,age,trauma severity,personality,and sleep quality as influencing factors of CD-RISC scores in patients with traumatic fractures(all P<0.05).The score of each C-PTGI dimension and the total score(relating to others,new possibilities,personal strength,spiritual change,and appreciation of life)were higher in the better resilience group than in the poor resilience group(all P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis indicated a positive association of the CD-RISC score in patients with traumatic fractures with the scores of all dimensions of C-PTGI and the total C-PTGI score(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION The factors influencing the psychological resilience of patients with traumatic fractures include age,sex,trauma severity,personality,and sleep quality,and psychological resilience is closely associated with PTG. 展开更多

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)are increasingly employed in traffic surveillance,urban planning,and infrastructure monitoring due to their cost-effectiveness,flexibility,and high-resolution imaging.However,vehicle detection and classification in aerial imagery remain challenging due to scale variations from fluctuating UAV altitudes,frequent occlusions in dense traffic,and environmental noise,such as shadows and lighting inconsistencies.Traditional methods,including sliding-window searches and shallow learning techniques,struggle with computational inefficiency and robustness under dynamic conditions.To address these limitations,this study proposes a six-stage hierarchical framework integrating radiometric calibration,deep learning,and classical feature engineering.The workflow begins with radiometric calibration to normalize pixel intensities and mitigate sensor noise,followed by Conditional Random Field(CRF)segmentation to isolate vehicles.YOLOv9,equipped with a bi-directional feature pyramid network(BiFPN),ensures precise multi-scale object detection.Hybrid feature extraction employs Maximally Stable Extremal Regions(MSER)for stable contour detection,Binary Robust Independent Elementary Features(BRIEF)for texture encoding,and Affine-SIFT(ASIFT)for viewpoint invariance.Quadratic Discriminant Analysis(QDA)enhances feature discrimination,while a Probabilistic Neural Network(PNN)performs Bayesian probability-based classification.Tested on the Roundabout Aerial Imagery(15,474 images,985K instances)and AU-AIR(32,823 instances,7 classes)datasets,the model achieves state-of-the-art accuracy of 95.54%and 94.14%,respectively.Its superior performance in detecting small-scale vehicles and resolving occlusions highlights its potential for intelligent traffic systems.Future work will extend testing to nighttime and adverse weather conditions while optimizing real-time UAV inference. 展开更多

利用第二次全国土壤调查土壤质地数据(SNSS)和中国区域陆地覆盖资料(CLCV)将陆面过程模式CLM3.5(Community Land Model version 3.5)中基于联合国粮食农业组织发展的土壤质地数据(FAO)和MODIS卫星反演的陆地覆盖数据(MODIS)... 利用第二次全国土壤调查土壤质地数据(SNSS)和中国区域陆地覆盖资料(CLCV)将陆面过程模式CLM3.5(Community Land Model version 3.5)中基于联合国粮食农业组织发展的土壤质地数据(FAO)和MODIS卫星反演的陆地覆盖数据(MODIS)进行了替换,使用中国气象局陆面数据同化系统(CMA Land Data Assimilation System,CLDAS)大气强迫场资料,分别驱动基于同时改进土壤质地和陆地覆盖数据的CLM3.5(CLM-new)、基于只改进陆地覆盖数据的CLM3.5(CLM-clcv)、基于只改进土壤质地数据的CLM3.5(CLM-snss)和基于原始下垫面数据的CLM3.5(CLM-ctl),对内蒙古地区2011~2013年土壤湿度的时空变化进行模拟试验,研究下垫面改进对CLM3.5模拟土壤湿度的影响。将四组模拟结果与46个土壤水分站点观测数据进行对比分析,结果表明:相对于控制试验,CLM-clcv、CLM-snss和CLM-new都能不同程度地改进土壤湿度模拟,其中CLM-clcv主要在呼伦贝尔改进明显,CLM-snss则在除呼伦贝尔以外的大部地区改进显著,CLM-ctl模拟的土壤湿度在各层上均系统性偏大,而CLM-new模拟土壤湿度最好地反映出内蒙古地区观测的土壤湿度的时空变化特征,显著改善了土壤湿度的模拟,体现在与观测值有着更高的相关系数和更小的平均偏差与均方根误差。 展开更多

对两种版本软件血细胞分离机 (COBESpectraLRSSystemVersion 5 .1andVersion 7.0 )采集的少白细胞血小板中白细胞残留量、采集效率、采集速度等进行了比较。使用两种版本软件血细胞分离机共采集 2 32个单位的浓缩血小板 ,其中A组用 5 .... 对两种版本软件血细胞分离机 (COBESpectraLRSSystemVersion 5 .1andVersion 7.0 )采集的少白细胞血小板中白细胞残留量、采集效率、采集速度等进行了比较。使用两种版本软件血细胞分离机共采集 2 32个单位的浓缩血小板 ,其中A组用 5 .1版本软件的血细胞分离机采集 16 3单位血小板 ,B组用 7.0版本加快型软件的机器采集6 9单位血小板。献血者外周血血细胞计数及采集过程中的有关参数、血小板得率、采集效率及血小板制品中残留白细胞数等进行了统计分析。结果表明 ,B组的血小板得率为 (2 .9± 1.1)× 10 11,高于A组的 (2 .5 8± 1.2 )× 10 11。A组 99.4 %血小板制品白细胞污染量小于 5× 10 6,而B组中 97.1%的制品白细胞低于此值。B组的采集效率为(5 1.4± 8.7) % ,高于A组的 (43.6± 6 .3) %。血小板得率与采集前献血者外周血血小板计数相关。结论指出 ,血细胞分离机 7 0加快版本在血小板采集效率上优于 5 .1版本 ,采集前献血者的血小板计数高 。 展开更多

本文基于一个水平分辨率为50 km的区域气候模式Reg CM4(Regional Climate Model,version 4.0)的模拟与预估结果,对我国汛期江淮暴雨低涡在气候变化背景下的统计特征与合成结构进行分析,进一步对两种温室排放情景下未来中国汛期的江淮暴... 本文基于一个水平分辨率为50 km的区域气候模式Reg CM4(Regional Climate Model,version 4.0)的模拟与预估结果,对我国汛期江淮暴雨低涡在气候变化背景下的统计特征与合成结构进行分析,进一步对两种温室排放情景下未来中国汛期的江淮暴雨低涡特征进行预估。结果表明:Reg CM4模式对环境要素及低涡都具有一定的模拟能力,低涡的伸展高度、生命期及暴雨位置模拟结果与观测较为接近,但模拟的低涡个数、最大暖区高度以及温、湿要素分布均比实际略偏低,而风速和低涡的强度模拟则偏强;在未来两种温室排放情景预估方面,RCP4.5(Representative Concentration Pathways,简称RCP)典型浓度排放情景下,暴雨低涡数量比例减少,强度减弱,但低涡发展高度仍以850 h Pa为主,生命期多为2 d以内,低涡雨区分布及最大暖区高度均与历史时段相近;RCP8.5情景下,暴雨低涡比例明显大于RCP4.5情景,低涡发展高度以700 h Pa为主,生命期达3 d的增多,强度增强,最大暖区厚度范围显著伸展。两种情景下均有低涡中温度锋区减弱,而湿度锋区增强,但RCP8.5情景减弱与增强更显著,显示更高的温室气体排放将导致未来出现更强的暴雨低涡,造成伴随暴雨的低涡灾害性天气的增加,因此应进一步深化对低涡暴雨灾害性天气发展趋势的研究。 展开更多
