The amounts and strength of H-bonding also played a significant role in determining the diffusion rate of the different states of water molecules. The type of aggregated water molecules which also formed H-bonding with silicic acid (residues) or polyimide system was the last one diffusing to the polymer side in contact with the ATR crystal element because the polymeric matrix blocked their diffusion to a great extent. The diffusion coefficient was also estimated to gain the information of the dynamic diffusion behavior.展开更多

In this paper, a meshfree method based on the moving Kriging inter- polation is developed for a two-dimensional time-fractional diffusion equation. The shape function and its derivatives are obtained by the moving Kriging interpolation technique. For possessing the Kronecker delta property, this technique is very efficient in imposing the essential boundary conditions. The governing time-fractional diffusion equations are transformed into a standard weak formulation by the Galerkin method. It is then discretized into a meshfree system of time-dependent equations, which are solved by the standard central difference method. Numerical examples illustrating the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method are presented and discussed in detail.展开更多

Eigen value approach is applied to study the disturbance in Laplace-Fourier transform domain for a two dimensional problem. The analytical expressions for displacement components, stresses, temperature field, concentration and chemical potential are obtained in the physical domain by using a numerical technique for the inversion of Laplace transform based on Fourier expansion techniques. These expressions are calculated numerically for a copper like material and depicted graphically. As special cases, the results in generalized thermoelastic and elastic media are obtained. Effect of presence of diffusion is analyzed theoretically and numerically.展开更多

The well-posed feature is guaranteed by energy inequality. To solve the diffusion equation, a fully discrete form is established by employing Crank-Nicolson technique in time and Galerkin finite element method in space. The stability and convergence are proved and the stiffness matrix is given analytically. Three numerical examples are given to confirm our theoretical analysis in which we find that even with the same initial condition, the classical and fractional diffusion equations perform differently but tend to be uniform diffusion at last.展开更多

文摘To consider the reliability and performance of electronic devices based on polyimide derivatives, dynamic water sorption and diffusion behavior in a polyimide derivative: poly(4'4 oxydiphenylene pyromellitimide) (PMDA-ODA)/silica nanocomposite was investigated by two-dimensional ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, by which three states of water molecules owning different H-bonding strength were distinguished. The diffusion coefficient was also estimated to gain the information of the dynamic diffusion behavior.

文摘Fractional diffusion equations have been the focus of modeling problems in hydrology, biology, viscoelasticity, physics, engineering, and other areas of applications. Numerical examples illustrating the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method are presented and discussed in detail.

文摘The combination of dual-main-phase(DMP)(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets and grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP)is currently a research topic for obtaining high-cost performance materials in rare earth permanent magnet fields. The novel structural features of GBDP(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets give a version of different domain reversal processes from those of non-diffused magnets. In this work, the in-situ magnetic domain evolution of the DMP magnets was observed at elevated temperatures, and the temperature demagnetization and coercivity mechanism of the GBDP dual-main-phase(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets are discussed. The results show that the shell composition of different types of grains in DMP magnets is similar, while the magnetic microstructure results indicate the Ce-rich grains tend to demagnetize first.Dy-rich shell with a high anisotropic field caused by GBDP leads to an increase in the nucleation field, which enhances the coercivity. It is found that much more grains exhibit single domain characteristics in the remanent state for GBDP dual-main-phase(Nd,Ce)-Fe-B magnets. In addition, the grains that undergo demagnetization first are Ce-rich or Nd-rich grains, which is different from that of non-diffused magnets. These results were not found in previous studies but can be intuitively characterized from the perspective of magnetic domains in this work, providing a new perspective and understanding of the performance improvement of magnetic materials.

文摘BACKGROUND Diffuse panbronchiolitis(DPB)is a rare, chronic inflammatory lung disease mar-ked by chronic cough, breathlessness, and preceding sinusitis.Symptoms often persist for years and can be misdiagnosed as asthma, particularly in children. This report describes a DPB case resolved with long-term azithromycin therapy,em-phasizing the need for a timely and accurate diagnosis.CASE SUMMARY A 12-year-old girl, diagnosed with asthma at age five and managed with inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta-2 agonists, developed a history of chronic productive cough and chronic sinusitis for a year.On examination, she exhibited wheezing and coarse crackles.Despite receiving treatment for an asthma exacer-bation,her symptoms did not improve.A chest X-ray revealed reticulonodular infiltration in both lower lungs, prompting further evaluation with high-resolu-tion computed tomography(HRCT).The HRCT confirmed centrilobular nodule opacities,a'tree-in-bud'pattern,and non-tapering bronchi, suggesting DPB.Elevated cold hemagglutinin titers at 128 further supported the diagnosis. Her cough and sinusitis resolved within a month after starting azithromycin therapy, chosen for its anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects.Follow-up HRCT scans after 1 year of continuous treatment showed complete normalization.CONCLUSION This case highlights the importance of early diagnosis and prompt treatment in achieving favorable outcomes for DPB.
文摘The present paper is concerned with the investigation of disturbances in'a homogeneous, isotropic elastic medium with generalized thermoelastic diffusion, when a moving source is acting along one of the co-ordinate axis on the boundary of the medium. Effect of presence of diffusion is analyzed theoretically and numerically.

文摘Intracellular diffusion is critical for molecule translocation in cytoplasm and mediates many important cellular processes.Meanwhile, the diffusion dynamics is affected by the heterogeneous cytoplasm.Previous studies on intracellular diffusion are mainly based on two-dimensional(2 D)measurements under the assumption that the three-dimensional(3 D)diffusion is isotropic. However, the real behaviors of 3 D diffusion of molecules in cytoplasm are still unclear. Here,we have built a 3 D single-particle tracking(SPT)microscopy and studied the 3 D diffusion of quantum dots(QDs)in adherent A549 cells.Notably,we found that the intracellular diffusion of QDs is quasi-2 D,with the axial motion being severely confined.Further investigations demonstrated that disrupting the cytoskeleton component or endoplasmic reticulum(ER)does not alter the quasi-2 D diffusion pattern, although ER reduces the diffusion rates and slightly relieves the constraint in the axial diffusion. The preferred quasi-2 D diffusion is quite robust and attributed to the complex cytoarchitectures in the flat adherent cells. With the aid of 3 D SPT method, the quasi-2 D diffusion in cells was revealed, shedding new light on the physical nature of cytoplasm.

文摘A molecular dynamical simulation method is used to investigate the diffusion of the two-dimensional magnetized dusty plasmas. The effects of charge and mass of the particles, as well as the external magnetic field are discussed in detail It is shown that, relative to the mass of particulate, the charge and magnetic field have a more considerable effect on the diffusion process, particularly on the resulting structure of the system. The dependence of diffusion coecient on the temperature is shown to be linearly changed over a wide range of temperature.
文摘A functional interlayer based on two-dimensional(2D)porous modified vermiculite nanosheets(PVS)was obtained by acid-etching vermiculite nanosheets. The as-obtained 2D porous nanosheets exhibited a high specific surface area of 427 m^(2)·g^(-1)and rich surface active sites, which help restrain polysulfides(LiPSs)through good physi-cal and chemical adsorption, while simultaneously accelerating the nucleation and dissolution kinetics of Li_(2)S,effec-tively suppressing the shuttle effect. The assembled lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)employing the PVS-based inter-layer delivered a high initial discharge capacity of 1386 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1C(167.5 mAh·g^(-1)),long-term cycling stabil-ity,and good rate property.

文摘This paper investigates ruin, capital injection, and dividends for a two-dimensional risk model. The model posits that surplus levels of insurance companies are governed by a perturbed composite Poisson risk model. This model introduces a dependence between the two surplus levels, present in both the associated perturbations and the claims resulting from common shocks.Critical levels of capital injection and dividends are established for each of the two risks. The surplus levels are observed discretely at fixed intervals, guiding decisions on capital injection, dividends, and ruin at these junctures. This study employs a two-dimensional Fourier cosine series expansion method to approximate the finite time expected discounted operating cost until ruin. The ensuing approximation error is also quantified. The validity and accuracy of the method are corroborated through numerical examples.Furthermore, the research delves into the optimal capital allocation problem.
文摘In this article, we consider a two-dimensional symmetric space-fractional diffusion equation in which the space fractional derivatives are defined in Riesz potential sense. The well-posed feature is guaranteed by energy inequality. To solve the diffusion equation, a fully discrete form is established by employing Crank-Nicolson technique in time and Galerkin finite element method in space. The stability and convergence are proved and the stiffness matrix is given analytically. Three numerical examples are given to confirm our theoretical analysis in which we find that even with the same initial condition, the classical and fractional diffusion equations perform differently but tend to be uniform diffusion at last.

文摘Background:The prognostic significance of the chemokine receptor CCR7 in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)has been reported previously. However, the detailed mechanisms of CCR7 in DLBCL,particularly regarding its interaction with lenalidomide treatment, are not fully understood. Methods:Our study utilized bioinformatics approaches to identify hub genes in SU-DHL-2 cell lines treated with lenalidomide compared to control groups.Immunohistochemical data and clinical information from 122 patients with DLBCL were analyzed to assess the correlation of CCR7 and p-ERK1/2 expression with the prognosis of DLBCL.Furthermore,in vitro and in vivo experiments were conducted to clarify the role of CCR7 in the response of DLBCL to lenalidomide treatment. Results:Our bioinformatics analysis pinpointed CCR7 as a hub gene in the context of lenalidomide treatment in DLBCL.Notably,31.14%and 36.0%(44/122)of DLBCL cases showed positive expression for CCR7 and ERK1/2 respectively, establishing them as independent prognostic factors for adverse outcomes in DLBCL via multivariate Cox regression analysis.Additionally, our studies demonstrated that the external application of the protein CCL21 promoted proliferation, migration, invasion, and activation of the ERK1/2 pathway in SU-DHL-2 and OCI-LY3 cell lines with high levels of CCR7 expression. This effect was mitigated by CCR7 silencing through siRNA,application of ERK inhibitors,or lenalidomide treatment. In vivo experiments reinforced the efficacy of lenalidomide, significantly reducing tumor growth rate, tumor mass, serum total LDH levels, and expression of CCR7 and p-ERK1/2 in a SUDHL-2 xenograft model in nude mice(p<0.05).Conclusion:Our study clarifies the potential role of the CCL21/CCR7/ERK1/2 axis in the therapeutic effects of lenalidomide in DLBCL treatment.
