Under this social background, the transportation industry has played an important role in Chinas economic development process for nearly 50 years, and this role also shows an increasingly important trend. Transportation industry can realize the economic exchanges between regions and realize the effective connection of regional economic development. Although at present, the modes of transportation are diversified, especially the high-speed rail, aviation, ocean and other modes of transportation diversify the current transportation choices, and also have the advantages of speed and quantity in the transportation. However, as the most extensive coverage of transportation facilities, highways play an irreplaceable role in other modes of transportation, especially in some western regions of China, where the transportation in these areas is basically mainly by road transportation. Highway transportation involves a lot of content, and the scope is also relatively wide, and integrated transportation management has always been a complex and heavy work. The new situation deserves holding high the form of development under the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics and under the socialist economic system. Under the new situation, we should not only pay attention to the relevant management work of highway transportation, pay attention to the system of highway transportation management work, come out from the details, and put the management work into practice.
