In addition to attacking the target with high accuracy, the vehicle is also expected to achieve a desired impact angle. In this paper, a sliding mode control (SMC)-based guidance law is developed to satisfy the terminal angle constraint. Firstly, a specific sliding mode function is designed, and the terminal requirements can be achieved by enforcing both the sliding mode function and its derivative to zero at the end of the flight. Then, a backstepping approach is used to ensure the finite-time reaching phase of the sliding mode and the analytic expression of the control effort can be obtained. The trajectories generated by this method only depend on the initial and terminal conditions of the terminal phase and the instantaneous states of the vehicle. In order to test the performance of the proposed guidance law in practical application, numerical simulations are carried out by taking all the aerodynamic parameters into consideration. The effec- tiveness of the proposed guidance law is verified by the simulation results in various scenarios.展开更多

The criterion for the design is keeping high-precision tracking with relatively less adjustment of the control input. The ATSMC structure is designed by considering the nonlinear characteristics of the dynamic model and the parametric uncertainties of the train operation in real time. A nonsingular terminal sliding mode control is employed to make the system quickly reach a stable state within a finite time, which makes the control input less adjust to guarantee the riding comfort. An adaptive mechanism is used to estimate controller parameters to get rid of the need of the prior knowledge about the bounds of system uncertainty. Simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller, which has robust performance to deal with the external disturbance and system parametric uncertainties. Thereby, the system guarantees the train operation to be accurate and comfortable.展开更多

An adaptive gain higher order sliding mode observer has been proposed to estimate the velocity as well as unmeasured disturbances from the noisy position measurements.A differentiator structure containing the Lipschitz constant and Lebesgue measurable control input, is utilized for obtaining the estimates. Adaptive tuning algorithms are derived based on Lyapunov stability theory, for updating the observer gains, which will give enough flexibility in the choice of initial estimates. Moreover, it may help to cope with unexpected state jerks. The trajectory tracking problem is formulated as a finite horizon optimal control problem, which is solved online. The control constraints are incorporated by using a nonquadratic performance functional. An adaptive update law has been derived for tuning the step size in the optimization algorithm, which may help to improve the convergence speed. In previous works, the neural models are trained classically by backpropagation(BP) algorithm. In this work, the sliding mode-backpropagation(SM-BP) algorithm, presenting some important properties such as robustness and speedy learning, is investigated. Control over impact time constraints of guidance law(ITCG) is derived by using sliding mode control(SMC) and Lyapunov stability theorem. The expected impact time is realized by using the notion of attack process and estimated time-to-go to design sliding mode surface(SMS). ITCG contains equivalent and discontinuous guidance laws, once state variables arrive at SMS,the equivalent guidance law keeps the state variables on SMS,then the discontinuous guidance law enforces state variables to move and reach SMS. The singularity problem of ITCG is also analyzed. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results are given to test the effectiveness of ITCG designed in this paper.展开更多

In reality, uncertainties including modeling error, initial condition deviation, friction force and other unknown external disturbances always exist in a LLRR system. So, it is necessary to consider the uncertainties in the unilateral man-machine dynamical model of the LLRR we described. In the dynamical model, uncertainties are(possibly fast) time-varying and bounded. However, the bounds are unknown. Based on the dynamical model, we design an adaptive robust control with an adaptive law that is leakagetype based and on the framework of Udwadia-Kalaba theory to compensate for the uncertainties and to realize tracking control of the LLRR. Furthermore, the effectiveness of designed control is shown with numerical simulations.展开更多

By employing modulus of resilience as the damage hardening variable, a damage variable related with dynamic modulus was extracted as the evaluation index. Then, the damage evolution law under two control modes was proposed, and it has a similar form to the Chaboche fatigue model with a nonnegative material parameter m related to its loading level. Experimental data of four loading levels were employed to calibrate the model and identify the parameter in both control modes. It is found that the parameter m shows an exponential relationship with its loading level. Besides, the difference of damage evolution under two control modes was explained by the law. The damage evolves from fast to slow under a controlled-strain mode. However, under a controlled-stress mode, the evolution rate is just the opposite. By using the damage equivalence principle to calculate the equivalent cycle numbers, the deduced model also interprets the difference of damage evolution under two control modes on the condition of multilevel loading. Under a controlled-strain mode, a loading sequence from a low level to a high level accelerates damage evolution. An inverse order under the controlled-stress mode can prolong fatigue life.展开更多

In previous works, the neural models are trained classically by backpropagation(BP) algorithm. In this work, the sliding mode-backpropagation(SM-BP) algorithm, presenting some important properties such as robustness and speedy learning, is investigated. Moreover, four combinations using classical BP and SM-BP are tested to determine the best configuration for the robust control of uncertain nonlinear systems. Two simulation examples are treated to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

文摘This paper analyses the issue of impact time control of super-cavitation weapons impact fixed targets which mainly refer to the ships or submarines who lost power, but still have combat capability. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results are given to test the effectiveness of ITCG designed in this paper.

文摘This paper focuses on the problem of the adaptive robust control of a lower limbs rehabilitation robot(LLRR) that is a nonlinear system running under passive training mode. Furthermore, the effectiveness of designed control is shown with numerical simulations.

文摘This paper presents a robust finite-time visual servo control strategy for the tracking problem of omni-directional mobile manipulators(OMMs)subject to mismatched disturbances.First, the nonlinear kinematic model of visual servoing for OMMs with mismatched disturbances is explicitly presented to solve the whole-body inverse kinematic problem.Second,a sliding mode observer augmented with an integral terminal sliding mode controller is proposed to handle these uncertainties and ensure that the system converges to a small region around the equilibrium point. The boundary layer technique is employed to mitigate the chattering phenomenon.Furthermore,a strict finite-time Lyapunov stability analysis is conducted. An experimental comparison between the proposed algorithm and a traditional position-based visual servo controller is carried out,and the results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed control algorithm.

文摘In this paper, a novel fuzzy sliding mode control(FSMC) guidance law with terminal constraints of miss distance, impact angle and acceleration is presented for a constant speed missile against the stationary or slowly moving target. The proposed guidance law combines the sliding mode control algorithm with a fuzzy logic control scheme for the lag-free system and the first-order lag system. Through using Lyapunov stability theory, we prove the sliding surface converges to zero in finite time. Furthermore, considering the uncertain information and system disturbances, the guidance gains are on-line optimized by fuzzy logic technique. Numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the performance of the FSMC guidance law and the results illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed guidance law.
文摘Asymptotic stability of nonlinear fractional order affine systems with bounded inputs is dealt. The main contribution is to design a new bounded fractional order chattering free sliding mode controller in which the system states converge to the sliding surface at a determined finite time.To eliminate the chattering in the sliding mode and make the input controller bounded, hyperbolic tangent is used for designing the proposed fractional order sliding surface. Finally, the stability of the closed loop system using this bounded sliding mode controller is guaranteed by Lyapunov theory.A comparison with the integer order case is then presented and fractional order nonlinear polynomial systems are also studied as the special case. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the designed controller.

文摘A fatigue damage model based on thermodynamics was deduced for asphalt mixtures under controlled-stress and controlled-strain modes. An inverse order under the controlled-stress mode can prolong fatigue life.

文摘The operating environment of the diesel engine air path system is complex and may be affected by external random disturbances.Potentially leading to faults. This paper addresses the fault-tolerant control problem of the diesel engine air path system, assuming that the system may simultaneously be affected by actuator faults and external random disturbances,a disturbance observer-based sliding mode controller is designed.Through the linear matrix inequality technique for solving observer and controller gains, optimal gain matrices can be obtained, eliminating the manual adjustment process of controller parameters and reducing the chattering phenomenon of the sliding mode surface. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation analysis.

文摘Based on optimM velocity car-following model, in this paper, we propose a new railway tramc model for describing the process of train movement control. In the proposed model, we give an improved form of the optimal velocity function V^opt, which is considered as the desired velocity function for train movement control under different control conditions. In order to test the proposed model, we simulate and analyze the trajectories of train movements, moreover, discuss the relationship curves between the train allowable velocity and the site of objective point in detail. Analysis results indicate that the proposed model can well capture some realistic futures of train movement control.
文摘This paper develops a novel hierarchical control strategy for improving the trajectory tracking capability of aerial robots under parameter uncertainties. The hierarchical control strategy is composed of an adaptive sliding mode controller and a model-free iterative sliding mode controller(MFISMC).A position controller is designed based on adaptive sliding mode control(SMC)to safely drive the aerial robot and ensure fast state convergence under external disturbances.Additionally, the MFISMC acts as an attitude controller to estimate the unmodeled dynamics without detailed knowledge of aerial robots. Then, the adaption laws are derived with the Lyapunov theory to guarantee the asymptotic tracking of the system state. Finally,to demonstrate the performance and robustness of the proposed control strategy, numerical simulations are carried out, which are also compared with other conventional strategies, such as proportional-integralderivative(PID),backstepping(BS),and SMC.The simulation results indicate that the proposed hierarchical control strategy can fulfill zero steady-state error and achieve faster convergence compared with conventional strategies.
