Objective:This study aimed to explore the applications of three-dimensional (3D) technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality (AR), and 3D printing system, in the field of medicine, particularly in renal interventions for cancer treatment.Methods:A specialized software transforms 2D medical images into precise 3D digital models, facilitating improved anatomical understanding and surgical planning. Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models are utilized for preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and surgical education. AR technology enables the overlay of digital perceptions onto real-world surgical environments.Results:Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models have multiple applications, such as preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, trainee education, and patient counseling. Virtual reality involves substituting the real world with a computer-generated 3D environment, while AR overlays digitally created perceptions onto the existing reality. The advances in 3D modeling technology have sparked considerable interest in their application to partial nephrectomy in the realm of renal cancer. 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, constructs 3D objects based on computer-aided design or digital 3D models. Utilizing 3D-printed preoperative renal models provides benefits for surgical planning, offering a more reliable assessment of the tumor's relationship with vital anatomical structures and enabling better preparation for procedures. AR technology allows surgeons to visualize patient-specific renal anatomical structures and their spatial relationships with surrounding organs by projecting CT/MRI images onto a live laparoscopic video. Incorporating patient-specific 3D digital models into healthcare enhances best practice, resulting in improved patient care, increased patient satisfaction, and cost saving for the healthcare system. 展开更多

The application of helicopter emergency rescue is becoming increasingly widespread,but the flight crew training in this area is still difficult due to high cost and risk.Nevertheless,with the development of Virtual Reality(VR)technology,virtual simulation has become a significant role in crew training of helicopter rescue.During the implementation of VR-based training,how to transform complex real tasks into VR scenarios and how to evaluate the performance of crew are of great importance.To address these issues,a novel VR-based R-E-A-D(Report,Evaluate,Agree,Do)evaluation model for training is proposed,which is suitable for complex missions with multiple tasks,multiple scenarios,and multiple people.Then,a mapping method of VR scenarios is put forward,which can transform the real tasks into virtual scenarios to serve the virtual simulation training.Finally,an experiment is carried out to verify the feasibility of the evaluation method and virtual scenario mapping method. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Primary retroperitoneal tumor is a rare type of tumor with insidious onset,large tumor size at the time of diagnosis,and often extensive involvement of surrounding tissues and blood vessels in the retroperitoneum.Surgery for primary retroperitoneal tumors is technically challenging.Preoperative imaging evaluation is critical for the selection of the optimal surgical approach and can influence complete resection and recurrence rates.Three-dimensional model reconstruction combined with virtual reality is useful for preoperative assessment.CASE SUMMARY A 17-year-old female patient was admitted for abdominal pain lasting for half a year that had been worsening for half a month.Abdominopelvic enhanced helical computed tomography revealed a retroperitoneal space-occupying lesion about 11.3 cm×9.1 cm in size,with well-defined borders in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen.The lesion compressed the left renal artery and vein resulting in vascular displacement and deformation.A multidisciplinary team decided on the optimal treatment approach.Preoperative three-dimensional visualization and virtual reality technology were used to assess and simulate the surgical procedure.Then,retroperitoneal tumor resection along with renal artery reconstruction was decided as the treatment.Complete resection of the retroperitoneal tumor was performed.Stable blood flow was established after renal artery reconstruction.The tumor was diagnosed as mature cystic teratoma(retroperitoneal tumor)by postoperative pathologic analysis.The patient,who recovered well,was discharged after 2 wk and maintains regular follow-ups.CONCLUSION A combination of three-dimensional reconstruction and virtual reality technology before surgery improves the rate of complete resection of retroperitoneal teratoma. 展开更多

基于VSLAM的室内场景重建与虚实遮挡的边缘优化方法

在增强现实环境中,虚拟物体和真实物体的融合效果经常受到虚实遮挡的影响.为了提升虚实遮挡效果,提出一种室内场景下基于视觉同步定位与建图(VSLAM)的三维物体稠密重建与分割的方法.首先利用YOLOv5s和ORB-SLAM2检测并去除环境中的动态... 在增强现实环境中,虚拟物体和真实物体的融合效果经常受到虚实遮挡的影响.为了提升虚实遮挡效果,提出一种室内场景下基于视觉同步定位与建图(VSLAM)的三维物体稠密重建与分割的方法.首先利用YOLOv5s和ORB-SLAM2检测并去除环境中的动态特征点,只利用静态特征点构建准确的点云地图;然后使用OPTICS聚类算法约束体素边缘并进行网格分割;最后通过结合形状先验算法对分割后的点云进行预测重建,使分割的物体边缘更加准确.在多个数据集上检验了所提方法,并执行动态特征点去除和虚实遮挡实验.结果表明,在动态场景下相比传统ORB-SLAM2,相机的定位精度提升了92.62%,点云的重建精度提升了35.00%,说明该方法可以准确地定位虚拟物体和真实物体的遮挡边缘并进行分割,同时保持形状化的重建结果,使得虚实遮挡效果更加真实自然. 展开更多

机器人遥操作,即人类操作者通过远程控制设备操纵机器人完成任务,实现了机器人的执行能力和人类操作者在非结构化环境中的决策能力的融合,已被广泛应用于各种工作要求复杂且对人类有潜在危险的领域.高效遥操作的关键因素之一在于能否为... 机器人遥操作,即人类操作者通过远程控制设备操纵机器人完成任务,实现了机器人的执行能力和人类操作者在非结构化环境中的决策能力的融合,已被广泛应用于各种工作要求复杂且对人类有潜在危险的领域.高效遥操作的关键因素之一在于能否为操作者提供良好的临场感,临场感取决于操作者对远程环境的身临其境的感知(视觉、触觉等感官反馈)以及对远程机器人精准、直观的控制.本文提出了一种基于视觉定位与虚拟现实技术的机器人遥操作方法,重建并传输远程场景的静态点云模型,利用Gen6D位姿估计算法根据RGB数据自动检测远程场景中的物体,然后将检测到的物体位姿信息传输到Unity虚拟现实场景中,定位虚拟物体,从而取代物体的点云模型.充分发挥虚拟现实的固有优势,沉浸式可视化重建后的远程场景,利用Unity物理引擎驱动虚拟物体,提高操作者的临场感.其次,提出一种人机解耦的信息物理(cyber-physical)映射模型,将操作者与远程机器人的控制回路解耦,消除了时延对遥操作的影响.最后,提出一种基于虚拟现实空间的自适应位置增量映射算法,根据虚拟机器人末端抓手与目标物体的距离改变位姿映射的比例,提高了遥操作的灵活性,并赋予虚拟现实遥操作避障的功能,保障了虚拟现实遥操作的安全性. 展开更多

近年来,随着虚拟现实等沉浸式技术的发展,全景视频技术的应用前景也在逐步扩展。全景视频提供了逼真的沉浸式体验,但同时也给网络带宽带来了极大的传输压力。因此,如何降低其传输带宽成为了研究的焦点,视口预测则是该领域的研究热点。当... 近年来,随着虚拟现实等沉浸式技术的发展,全景视频技术的应用前景也在逐步扩展。全景视频提供了逼真的沉浸式体验,但同时也给网络带宽带来了极大的传输压力。因此,如何降低其传输带宽成为了研究的焦点,视口预测则是该领域的研究热点。当前,主流的视口预测方案多是利用观看者的视点轨迹和画面内容,结合神经网络输出结果,并进行评估。现有的方法大多不能在长时间预测取得较好的效果,且没有充分利用多用户场景下的数据。为此,本文借鉴了目前流行的Transformer网络中的注意力机制,提出了一种在多用户场景下预测未来较长时间视口的方案。由于不同用户在观看同一视频的视点轨迹具有相似性,本文首先提出了一种多用户视口轨迹相似性比较方案,该方案利用目标用户的视口轨迹数据和历史用户的视口轨迹数据预测目标用户未来视口轨迹数据。其次,由于全景视频视口轨迹存在着不连续性,本文对不连续视口轨迹进行映射处理来解决单次预测轨迹数据不连续的问题,在实验中使用此方法处理数据集的效果较好。最后,本文通过实验对比了两个近年提出的具有相似输出的模型,结果显示本文提出的全景视频预测算法在平均绝对误差、曼哈顿距离以及本文提出的角度距离误差指标下有所减少,部分指标减少超过10%。这说明本文提出的方案能在较长时间视口预测取得更高的精度,引入注意力机制和多用户相似性比较有助于提升模型性能和泛化能力。 展开更多

针对已有的映射方法在应用于大规模的虚拟场景时,由于扭曲很高得到的映射质量很低,或需要用户按照指定路径行走,不支持在虚拟开放场景中自由漫步的问题,提出一种基于共形映射的虚拟场景映射方法.首先为虚拟开放场景的地图指定一个或者... 针对已有的映射方法在应用于大规模的虚拟场景时,由于扭曲很高得到的映射质量很低,或需要用户按照指定路径行走,不支持在虚拟开放场景中自由漫步的问题,提出一种基于共形映射的虚拟场景映射方法.首先为虚拟开放场景的地图指定一个或者多个环绕中心,将这些中心周围的小部分区域从虚拟开放场景的地图上去除,通过构造共形映射使得虚拟场景在中心附近环绕多圈;然后将构造的共形映射作为初始化,进一步对映射的扭曲进行优化;最终得到了虚拟开放场景的高质量整体映射.该方法在不同形状大小的虚拟场景地图上进行了实验,并与直接优化的方法进行了对比,使用等距能量进行评估.实验结果表明,所提方法能够生成大的虚拟开放场景到小的物理空间的整体映射,同时使得映射的扭曲较低. 展开更多

Virtual reality(VR)is an emerging communication means and creates extensive opportunities in interacting scenarios such as remote collaboration and metaverse.Human-machine interfaces(HMIs)play important roles in VR as they provide interaction platforms between users and virtual environments.However,traditional VR HMIs based on handheld devices or keyboards cannot recognize diverse three-dimensional(3D)gestures,which results in limited freedom of VR interactions.Here,we report a noncontact VR HMI enabled by an electret-nanofiber-based triboelectric sensor(ETS),which is fabricated by the electrospun polylactic acid/thermoplastic polyurethane(PLA/TPU)electret nanofiber film.The nanofiber structure of PLA/TPU electret enhanced the charge retention ability of triboelectric sensor and thus significantly improved its signal strength and stability.Integrated with a deep learning-based multilayer perceptron neural network,the ETS realizes the recognition of 18 different types of 3D gestures with a high average accuracy of 97.3%.An intelligent noncontact VR interactive system based on the ETS is further developed,which is used to manipulate game characters for performing different actions by 3D gestures.Compared with traditional VR HMIs,the proposed VR HMI based on PLA/TPU electret nanofiber film can detect various 3D gestures and offers a superior interaction freedom.This work for the first time introduces the triboelectric 3D gesture recognition method to the VR HMIs,and could make the interaction between human and virtual environments become more efficient and fascinating. 展开更多

移动互联网时代下,增强现实与电子地图的结合应用越来越广泛。由于室外存在大量复杂的应用场景,且移动设备的存储和计算能力有限,因此电子地图应用受到软硬件的限制。针对室外大量复杂场景处理相对受限的fq题,论文结合网络地理信息... 移动互联网时代下,增强现实与电子地图的结合应用越来越广泛。由于室外存在大量复杂的应用场景,且移动设备的存储和计算能力有限,因此电子地图应用受到软硬件的限制。针对室外大量复杂场景处理相对受限的fq题,论文结合网络地理信息服务技术,提出了基于MapServer的增强现实电子地图平台的设计方案,利用移动终端实时传输用户的位姿数据,在服务器端建立了专门用于地图渲染与数据处理的地图调度引擎和虚实融合注册中心;针对特定的应用场景需求,建立了不同的增强现实电子地图应用模式,最终利用Android平台技术在终端上实时呈现增强现实电子地图。 展开更多
