The Nelder-Mead simplex method is a well-known algorithm enabling the minimization of functions that are not available in closed-form and that need not be differentiable or convex.Furthermore,it is particularly parsimonious on the number of function evaluations,thus making it preferable to convex optimization paradigms in the case,common when dealing with control design problems,that the objective function of the optimization problem is non-differentiable,non-convex,and its closed-form is not available or difficult to be computed analytically.The main goal of this paper is to show how the joint use of the Nelder-Mead simplex method and the Morrison algorithm can be successfully used to solve relevant and challenging control problems that cannot be easily solved using analytic methods.In particular,it is shown how the problems of strong stabilization,static output feedback stabilization,and design of robust controllers having fixed structure can be framed as optimization problems,which,in turn,can be efficiently solved by coupling the two above mentioned algorithms.The performance of this procedure is compared with state-of-the-art techniques on dozens of static output feedback benchmark case studies,and its effectiveness is demonstrated by several examples. 展开更多

傅里叶变换光谱仪是一种精密的红外探测仪器,它采用迈克尔逊式干涉分光方式,动镜是其中一个核心部件。动镜运动速度的均匀性和稳定性直接影响了后续干涉图的质量,所以必须对动镜进行高精度的运动控制。对于某些动镜低速应用场合的傅里... 傅里叶变换光谱仪是一种精密的红外探测仪器,它采用迈克尔逊式干涉分光方式,动镜是其中一个核心部件。动镜运动速度的均匀性和稳定性直接影响了后续干涉图的质量,所以必须对动镜进行高精度的运动控制。对于某些动镜低速应用场合的傅里叶光谱仪,常规的M法测速已经不能满足测速精度的要求了。另外,动镜低速运动时,速度稳定性更容易受外界力学扰动的影响。基于动镜低速运动的平稳性需求,文中对基于T法测速的动镜运动控制技术进行了研究,提出了求取速度实测值和速度期望值的高精度算法,并通过建立被控对象的数学模型和动力学方程,得到速度前馈控制量,进而设计了基于速度前馈的复合速度控制器。该设计的动镜速度控制算法由FPGA硬件平台实现,并应用于傅里叶光谱仪实验平台。实验结果表明,采用T法测速控制系统获得动镜运动匀速区速度峰峰值误差是0.0182,速度均方根值误差是0.0027。为测试文中动镜速度控制系统的抗干扰能力,在干涉仪安装平台动镜运动方向分别施加5 mg、7.5 mg、10 mg的正弦激励力,在每个给定量级的激励力下,进行了2~200 Hz频率范围内各频率点的扫描,实验结果表明,速度峰峰值误差和速度均方根值误差和正弦激励的幅值基本成正比例关系。在5 mg时各频率点的力学激励下,速度峰峰值误差最大是0.0724,速度均方根值误差最大是0.0225。从光谱稳定度和红外焦平面探测器采样间隔误差综合分析,5mg量级时的动镜速度均匀性可以满足系统这两方面需求,使得傅里叶光谱仪在微振动环境应用时也具有一定的抗干扰能力。该设计为傅里叶光谱仪低速高平稳性动镜速度控制的实现提供了一种技术途径,同时也使得傅里叶光谱仪有了更广阔的应用场景。 展开更多

This paper is concerned with event-triggered control of discrete-time systems with or without input saturation.First,an accumulative-error-based event-triggered scheme is devised for control updates.When the accumulated error between the current state and the latest control update exceeds a certain threshold,an event is triggered.Such a scheme can ensure the event-generator works at a relatively low rate rather than falls into hibernation especially after the system steps into its steady state.Second,the looped functional method for continuous-time systems is extended to discrete-time systems.By introducing an innovative looped functional that links the event-triggered scheme,some sufficient conditions for the co-design of control gain and event-triggered parameters are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities with a couple of tuning parameters.Then,the proposed method is applied to discrete-time systems with input saturation.As a result,both suitable control gains and event-triggered parameters are also co-designed to ensure the system trajectories converge to the region of attraction.Finally,an unstable reactor system and an inverted pendulum system are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

With the continuous increase of aeroengine flight ceiling(>20 km),the thin atmosphere at high altitudes and the size effect all cause the compressor component inlet Reynolds number to decrease rapidly to a critical value(approximately 2.0×10^(5)),and the significant transition process on the blade/endwall surface leads to the sharp degradation of compressor performance,which seriously affects the engine fuel consumption and working stability at high altitudes.In this paper,the research progress on the internal flow mechanism and flow control methods of axial compressors at low Reynolds numbers is reviewed from the aspects of quantification and prediction of performance variation,flow loss mechanism related to separation and transition,efficient transition control and flow field organization.The development trend of the low-Reynolds-number effect of axial flow compressors is noted,and the difficulties and application prospects of aerodynamic design and efficient flow control methods for compressors under low Reynolds numbers at high altitudes are discussed. 展开更多

The surrounding rock of the soft rock roadway is seriously deformed and damaged under the superposition of mining stress and fault tectonic stress.In this paper,taking the No.232206 intake roadway in Meihuajing Coal Mine as the engineering background,the deformation and failure law of the surrounding rock of the roadway in different fault protection pillar widths were obtained by numerical simulation method.On this basis,the mechanical model of the roadway under the action of hanging wall overburden migration and fault slip in normal faults was established,and the energy-driven mechanism of large deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway was revealed.The ratio T of the energy applying on anchoring surrounding rock to the resistant energy of the anchored surrounding rock was defined as the criterion for the deformation of the roadway.Finally,it was calculated according to the actual working conditions on site,and the control method of“stress relief-support reinforcement”was used to support the roadway with the risk of large deformation.The on-site monitoring results show that the control effect of the surrounding rock of the roadway is obvious. 展开更多

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)swarm collaboration enhances mission effectiveness.However,fixed-wing UAV swarm flights face collaborative safety control problems within a limited airspace in complex environments.Aimed at the cooperative control problem of fixed-wing UAV swarm flights under the airspace constraints of a virtual tube in a complex environment,this paper proposes a behavior-based distributed control method for fixed-wing UAV swarm considering flight safety constraints.Considering the fixed-wing UAV swarm flight problem in complex environment,a virtual tube model based on generator curve is established.The tube keeping,centerline tracking and flight safety behavioral control strategies of the UAV swarm are designed to ensure that the UAV swarm flies along the inside of the virtual tube safety and does not go beyond its boundary.On this basis,a maneuvering decision-making method based on behavioral fusion is proposed to ensure the safe flight of UAV swarm in the restricted airspace.This cooperative control method eliminates the need for respective pre-planned trajectories,reduces communication requirements,and achieves a high level of intelligence.Simulation results show that the proposed behaviorbased UAV swarm cooperative control method is able to make the fixed-wing UAV swarm,which is faster and unable to hover,fly along the virtual tube airspace under various virtual tube shapes and different swarm sizes,and the spacing between the UAVs is larger than the minimum safe distance during the flight. 展开更多

[Result] Various treatments had no negative effect on tobacco plant growth in the field, and had different degrees of control effects on five dominant weeds, including Digitaria sanguinalis, Setaria viridis, Fagopyrum dibotrys, Commelina communis and Chenopodium album. White mulching film and 50% butralin·clomazone EC 160 m L/667 m^(2) + white mulching film had the worst performance, which had extremely significant or significant differences with other treatments. There was no sig-nificant difference among most treatments, and the overall effects were comprehensive(multi-factor) treatment > double factor treatment > single factor treatment. Thus, theory base was built for balancing control of NP potential. Theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate that the proposed method for NP balancing control vector synthe- sizing concept based can make the average NP current zero, and do not influence NP potential within every sample period. In the industrial roller kiln,the time-delay characteristic in heat transfer causes the temperature field to be affected by both the current and historical temperature states.It presents a poor control performance and brings a significant challenge to the process precise control.Considering high complexity of precise modeling,a data-driven time-delay optimal control method for temperature field of roller kiln is proposed based on a large amount of process data.First,the control challenges and problem description brought by time-delay are demonstrated,where the cost function for the time-delay partial differential equation system is constructed.To obtain the optimal control law,the policy iteration in adaptive dynamic programming is adopted to design the time-delay temperature field controller,and neural network is used for the critic network in policy iteration to approximate the optimal time-delay cost function.The closed-loop system stability is proved by designing the Lyapunov function which contains the time-delay information.Finally,through establishing the time-delay temperature field model for roller kiln,the effectiveness and convergence of the proposed method is verified and proved. 展开更多

The exploitation of oil resources has now extended to ultra-deep formations,with depths even exceeding 10,000 m.During drilling operations,the bottomhole temperature(BHT)can surpass 240℃.Under such high-temperature conditions,measurement while drilling(MWD)instruments are highly likely to malfunction due to the inadequate temperature resistance of their electronic components.As a wellbore temperature control approach,the application of thermal insulated drill pipe(TIDP)has been proposed to manage the wellbore temperature in ultra-deep wells.This paper developed a temperature field model for ultra-deep wells by coupling the interactions of multiple factors on the wellbore temperature.For the first time,five distinct TIDP deployment methods were proposed,and their corresponding wellbo re temperature variation characte ristics were investigated,and the heat transfer laws of the ultra-deep wellbore-formation system were quantitatively elucidated.The results revealed that TIDP can effectively restrain the rapid rise in the temperature of the drilling fluid inside the drill string by reducing the heat flux of the drill string.Among the five deployment methods,the method of deploying TIDP from the bottomhole upwards exhibits the best performance.For a 12,000 m simulated well,when6000 m of TIDP are deployed from the bottomhole upwards,the BHT decreases by 52℃,while the outlet temperature increases by merely 1℃.This not only achieves the objective of wellbore temperature control but also keeps the temperature of the drilling fluid at the outlet of annulus at a relatively low level,thereby reducing the requirements for the heat exchange equipment on the ground.The novel findings of this study provide significant guidance for wellbore temperature control in ultra-deep and ultra-high-temperature wells. 展开更多

Variable Cycle Engine(VCE)serves as the core system in achieving future advanced fighters with cross-generational performance and mission versatility.However,the resultant complex configuration and strong coupling of control parameters present significant challenges in designing acceleration and deceleration control schedules.To thoroughly explore the performance potential of engine,a global integration design method for acceleration and deceleration control schedule based on inner and outer loop optimization is proposed.The outer loop optimization module employs Integrated Surrogate-Assisted Co-Differential Evolutionary(ISACDE)algorithm to optimize the variable geometry adjustment laws based on B-spline curve,and the inner loop optimization module adopts the fixed-state method to design the open-loop fuel–air ratio control schedules,which are aimed at minimizing the acceleration and deceleration time under multiple constraints.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed global integration design method not only furthest shortens the acceleration and deceleration time,but also effectively safeguards the engine from overlimit. 展开更多

This paper proposes an optimal midcourse guidance method for dual pulse air-to-air missiles,which is based on the framework of the linear Gauss pseudospectral model predictive control method.Firstly,a multistage optimal control problem with unspecified terminal time is formulated.Secondly,the control and terminal time update formulas are derived analytically.In contrast to previous work,the derivation process fully considers the Hamiltonian function corresponding to the unspecified terminal time,which is coupled with control,state,and costate.On the assumption of small perturbation,a special algebraic equation is provided to represent the equivalent optimal condition for the terminal time.Also,using Gauss pseudospectral collocation,error propagation dynamical equations involving the first-order correction term of the terminal time are transformed into a set of algebraic equations.Furthermore,analytical modification formulas can be derived by associating those equations and optimal conditions to eliminate terminal error and approach nonlinear optimal control.Even with their mathematical complexity,these formulas produce more accurate control and terminal time corrections and remove reliance on task-related parameters.Finally,several numerical simulations,comparisons with typical methods,and Monte Carlo simulations have been done to verify its optimality,high convergence rate,great stability and robustness. 展开更多

The results of the study show that: (1) the identification methods of formation water include the basic methods of single factors such as physical characteristics, water composition characteristics, water type characteristics, and characteristic coefficients, as well as the comprehensive evaluation method of data credibility proposed on this basis, which mainly relies on the correlation analysis sodium chloride coefficient and desulfurization coefficient and combines geological background evaluation;(2) The basic identifying methods for formation water enable the preliminary identification of hydrochemical data and the preliminary screening of data on site, the proposed comprehensive method realizes the evaluation by classifying the CaCl2-type water into types A-I to A-VI and the NaHCO3-type water into types B-I to B-IV, so that researchers can make in-depth evaluation on the credibility of hydrochemical data and analysis of influencing factors;(3) When the basic methods are used to identify the formation water, the formation water containing anions such as CO_(3)^(2-), OH- and NO_(3)^(-), or the formation water with the sodium chloride coefficient and desulphurization coefficient not matching the geological setting, are all invaded with surface water or polluted by working fluid;(4) When the comprehensive method is used, the data credibility of A-I, A-II, B-I and B-II formation water can be evaluated effectively and accurately only if the geological setting analysis in respect of the factors such as formation environment, sampling conditions, condensate water, acid fluid, leaching of ancient weathering crust, and ancient atmospheric fresh water, is combined, although such formation water is believed with high credibility. 展开更多

This paper investigates the active traveling wave vibration control of an elastic supported rotating porous aluminium conical shell(CS)under impact loading.Piezoelectric smart materials in the form of micro fiber composites(MFCs)are used as actuators and sensors.To this end,a metal pore truncated CS with MFCs attached to its surface is considered.Adding artificial virtual springs at two edges of the truncated CS achieves various elastic supported boundaries by changing the spring stiffness.Based on the first-order shear deformation theory(FSDT),minimum energy principle,and artificial virtual spring technology,the theoretical formulations considering the electromechanical coupling are derived.The comparison of the natural frequency of the present results with the natural frequencies reported in previous literature evaluates the accuracy of the present approach.To study the vibration control,the integral quadrature method in conjunction with the differential quadrature approximation in the length direction is used to discretize the partial differential dynamical system to form a set of ordinary differential equations.With the aid of the velocity negative feedback method,both the time history and the input control voltage on the actuator are demonstrated to present the effects of velocity feedback gain,pore distribution type,semi-vertex angle,impact loading,and rotational angular velocity on the traveling wave vibration control. 展开更多

This paper introduces a framework for modeling random fields,with a particular emphasis on analyzing anisotropic spatial variability.It establishes a clear connection between the correlation function and the Kriging variogram across various anisotropic modes,providing mathematical models to enhance our understanding of random fields.A new anisotropy index,called LSAI,is introduced to quantify anisotropy based on the autocorrelation length and the orientation of the principal axes within the variogram.An LSAI value closer to one indicates a lower degree of anisotropy.The present study examines how the degree of anisotropy varies with different autocorrelation lengths and angles between the principal axes,providing valuable insights into these relationships.To improve the accuracy of parameter probability distribution estimations,this study integrates limited field test data using a Bayesian inference approach.Additionally,the Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation method is employed to develop a conditional random field(CRF)for the deformation modulus.By incorporating data from field bearing plate tests,the posterior variance data for the deformation modulus are derived.This process facilitates the construction of a detailed and reliable CRF for the deformation modulus. 展开更多
