Sentiment analysis plays an important role in distilling and clarifying content from movie reviews,aiding the audience in understanding universal views towards the movie.However,the abundance of reviews and the risk o...Sentiment analysis plays an important role in distilling and clarifying content from movie reviews,aiding the audience in understanding universal views towards the movie.However,the abundance of reviews and the risk of encountering spoilers pose challenges for efcient sentiment analysis,particularly in Arabic content.Tis study proposed a Stochastic Gradient Descent(SGD)machine learning(ML)model tailored for sentiment analysis in Arabic and English movie reviews.SGD allows for fexible model complexity adjustments,which can adapt well to the Involvement of Arabic language data.Tis adaptability ensures that the model can capture the nuances and specifc local patterns of Arabic text,leading to better performance.Two distinct language datasets were utilized,and extensive pre-processing steps were employed to optimize the datasets for analysis.Te proposed SGD model,designed to accommodate the nuances of each language,aims to surpass existing models in terms of accuracy and efciency.Te SGD model achieves an accuracy of 84.89 on the Arabic dataset and 87.44 on the English dataset,making it the top-performing model in terms of accuracy on both datasets.Tis indicates that the SGD model consistently demonstrates high accuracy levels across Arabic and English datasets.Tis study helps deepen the understanding of sentiments across various linguistic datasets.Unlike many studies that focus solely on movie reviews,the Arabic dataset utilized here includes hotel reviews,ofering a broader perspective.展开更多
Deep learning(DL)has become a crucial technique for predicting the El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)and evaluating its predictability.While various DL-based models have been developed for ENSO predictions,many f...Deep learning(DL)has become a crucial technique for predicting the El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)and evaluating its predictability.While various DL-based models have been developed for ENSO predictions,many fail to capture the coherent multivariate evolution within the coupled ocean-atmosphere system of the tropical Pacific.To address this three-dimensional(3D)limitation and represent ENSO-related ocean-atmosphere interactions more accurately,a novel this 3D multivariate prediction model was proposed based on a Transformer architecture,which incorporates a spatiotemporal self-attention mechanism.This model,named 3D-Geoformer,offers several advantages,enabling accurate ENSO predictions up to one and a half years in advance.Furthermore,an integrated gradient method was introduced into the model to identify the sources of predictability for sea surface temperature(SST)variability in the eastern equatorial Pacific.Results reveal that the 3D-Geoformer effectively captures ENSO-related precursors during the evolution of ENSO events,particularly the thermocline feedback processes and ocean temperature anomaly pathways on and off the equator.By extending DL-based ENSO predictions from one-dimensional Niño time series to 3D multivariate fields,the 3D-Geoformer represents a significant advancement in ENSO prediction.This study provides details in the model formulation,analysis procedures,sensitivity experiments,and illustrative examples,offering practical guidance for the application of the model in ENSO research.展开更多

We describe that using the status distinguishing factor to optimally determine the comer location is more accurate than the conventional higher-order derivative method. Thus, a better small geologic body and fault resolution is obtained by using the gravity gradient method and trial theoretical model calculation. The actual data is better processed, providing a better basis for prospecting and determination of subsurface geologic structure.展开更多

Generally, the FGM layer is very thin compared with the characteristic length of the structural component, and the nonhomogeneity exists only in the thin layer. Based on these features, by choosing a small parameter I which characterizes the stiffness of the layer relative to the component, and expanding the stresses and displacements on the two sides of the interface according to the parameter lambda, then asymptotically using the continuity conditions of the stresses and displacements on the interface, a decoupling computing process of the coupling control equations of the layer and the structural component is realized. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the application of the method proposed.展开更多
Gradient cemented carbides with the surface depleted in cubic phases were prepared following normal powder metallurgical pro-cedures.Gradient zone formation and the influence of nitrogen introduction methods on the mi...Gradient cemented carbides with the surface depleted in cubic phases were prepared following normal powder metallurgical pro-cedures.Gradient zone formation and the influence of nitrogen introduction methods on the microstructure and performance of the alloys were investigated.The results show that the simple one-step vacuum sintering technique is doable for producing gradient cemented carbides.Gradient structure formation is attributed to the gradient in nitrogen activity during sintering,but is independent from nitrogen introduced methods.A uniform carbon distribution is found throughout the materials.Moreover,the transverse rupture strength of the cemented carbides can be increased by a gradient layer.Different nitrogen carriers give the alloys distinguishing microstructure and mechanical properties,and a gradient alloy with ultrafine-TiC0.5N0.5 is found optimal.展开更多

The STG method requires reordering of blade passages according to their relative clocking positions with respect to blades of an adjacent blade row. As the space-clocking is linked to an equivalent time-clocking, the passage reordering can be performed according to the alternative time-clocking. With the time-clocking perspective, unsteady flow solutions from different passages of the same blade row are mapped to flow solutions of the same passage at different time instants or phase angles. Accordingly, the time derivative of the unsteady flow equation is discretized in time directly, which is more natural than transforming the time derivative to a spatial one as with the original STG method. To improve the solution accuracy, a ninth order difference scheme has been investigated for discretizing the time derivative. To achieve a stable solution for the high order scheme, the implicit solution method of Lower-Upper Symmetric GaussSeidel/Gauss-Seidel(LU-SGS/GS) has been employed. The NASA Stage 35 and its blade-countreduced variant are used to demonstrate the validity of the time-clocking based passage reordering and the advantages of the high order difference scheme for the STG method. Results from an existing harmonic balance flow solver are also provided to contrast the two methods in terms of solution stability and computational cost.展开更多

To investigate nitrous acid(HONO)levels and potential HONO sources above crop rotation fields.The HONO fluxes were measured by the aerodynamic gradient(AG)method from 14 December 2019 to 2 January 2020 over an agricul...To investigate nitrous acid(HONO)levels and potential HONO sources above crop rotation fields.The HONO fluxes were measured by the aerodynamic gradient(AG)method from 14 December 2019 to 2 January 2020 over an agricultural field in the Huaihe River Basin.The ambient HONO levels were measured at two different heights(0.15 and 1.5 m),showing a typical diurnal cycle with low daytime levels and high nighttime levels.The upward HONO fluxes were mostly observed during the day,whereas deposition dominated at night.The diurnal variation of HONO flux followed solar radiation,with a noontime maximum of 0.2 nmol/(m^(2)·sec).The average upward HONO flux of 0.06±0.17 nmol/(m^(2)·sec)indicated that the agricultural field was a net source for atmospheric HONO.The higher HONO/NO_(2)ratio and NO_(2)-to-HONO conversion rate close to the surface suggested that nocturnal HONO was formed and released near the ground.The unknown HONO source was derived from the daytime HONO budget analysis,with an average strength of 0.31 ppbV/hr at noontime.The surface HONO flux,which was highly correlated with the photolysis frequency J(NO_(2))(R^(2)=0.925)and the product of J(NO_(2))×NO_(2)(R^(2)=0.840),accounted for∼23%of unknown daytime HONO source.The significant correlation between HONO fluxes and J(NO_(2))suggests a light-driven HONO formation mechanism responsible for the surface HONO flux during daytime.展开更多

Global Positioning System (GPS) is pri...Space weather phenomena cause satellite to ground or satellite to aircraft transmission outages over the VHF to L-band frequency range, particularly in the low latitude region. Global Positioning System (GPS) is primarily susceptible to this form of space weather. Faulty GPS signals are attributed to ionospheric error, which is a function of Total Electron Content (TEC). Importantly, precise forecasts of space weather conditions and appropriate hazard observant cautions required for ionospheric space weather obser- vations are limited. In this paper, a fuzzy logic-based gradient descent method has been proposed to forecast the ionospheric TEC values. In this technique, membership functions have been tuned based on the gradient descent estimated values. The proposed algorithm has been tested with the TEC data of two geomagnetic storms in the low latitude station of KL University, Guntur, India (16.44°N, 80.62°E). It has been found that the gradient descent method performs well and the predicted TEC values are close to the original TEC measurements.展开更多

Throu...The data of the year 1992 from 25 geomagnetic observatories affiliated to the geomagnetic network of State Seismological Bureau of China were processed using the principle of geomagnetic spatial gradient method. Through finding out the polynomial form of optimum fitting, comparatively good C values for four harmonic components of diurnal variations were obtained. By using the inverse method of non linear underdetermined problem, the electrical conductivity structures under the observatories were investgated. It is shown that there are differences of the C values and conductivity structures in the deep underground under the south western part and northern parts and other parts of China. We studied the possibility of improving the gradient method for investigation of the deep underground conductivity structure, and it is indicated that the gradient method is hopeful in the investigation of earth′s deep conductivity structure and the applied studies concerned.展开更多

In this work, gradient descent method together with regularization is investigated to study the electricity output related to vacuum level and temperature in the turbine. Ninety percent of the data was used to train the regression parameters while the remaining ten percent was used for validation. Final results showed that 99% accuracy could be obtained with this method. This opens a new window for electricity output prediction for power plants.展开更多

文摘Resin transfer molding(RTM)is among the most used manufacturing processes for composite parts.Initially,the resin cure is initiated by heat supply to the mold.The supplementary heat generated during the reaction can cause thermal gradients in the composite,potentially leading to undesired residual stresses which can cause shrinkage and warpage.In the present numerical study of these processes,a one-dimensional finite difference method is used to predict the temperature evolution and the degree of cure in the course of the resin polymerization;the effect of some parameters on the thermal gradient is then analyzed,namely:the fiber nature,the use of multiple layers of reinforcement with different thermal properties and also the temperature cycle variation.The validity of this numerical model is tested by comparison with experimental and numerical results in the existing literature.

文摘Space weather phenomena cause satellite to ground or satellite to aircraft transmission outages over the VHF to L-band frequency range, particularly in the low latitude region. Global Positioning System (GPS) is primarily susceptible to this form of space weather. Faulty GPS signals are attributed to ionospheric error, which is a function of Total Electron Content (TEC). Importantly, precise forecasts of space weather conditions and appropriate hazard observant cautions required for ionospheric space weather obser- vations are limited. In this paper, a fuzzy logic-based gradient descent method has been proposed to forecast the ionospheric TEC values. In this technique, membership functions have been tuned based on the gradient descent estimated values. The proposed algorithm has been tested with the TEC data of two geomagnetic storms in the low latitude station of KL University, Guntur, India (16.44°N, 80.62°E). It has been found that the gradient descent method performs well and the predicted TEC values are close to the original TEC measurements.
文摘In this work it presents a strategy to obtain the ozone solubility in water by gradient step method. In this methodology, the ozone in mixture with oxygen is bubbling in a reactor with distilled water at 21℃ and pH 7. The ozone concentration on gas phase is continually increased after the saturation is reached. The method proposed is faster than conventional method (isocratic method). The solubility from the gradient method is compared with that values obtained from correlations founded in the literature.
文摘In a wireless sensor network[1],the operation of a node depends on the battery power it carries.Because of the environmental reasons,the node cannot replace the battery.In order to improve the life cycle of the network,energy becomes one of the key problems in the design of the wireless sensor network(WSN)routing protocol[2].This paper proposes a routing protocol ERGD based on the method of gradient descent that can minimizes the consumption of energy.Within the communication radius of the current node,the distance between the current node and the next hop node is assumed that can generate a projected energy at the distance from the current node to the base station(BS),this projected energy and the remaining energy of the next hop node is the key factor in finding the next hop node.The simulation results show that the proposed protocol effectively extends the life cycle of the network and improves the reliability and fault tolerance of the system.

文摘The distribution of sampling data influences completeness of rule base so that extrapolating missing rules is very difficult. Based on data mining, a self-learning method is developed for identifying fuzzy model and extrapolating missing rules, by means of confidence measure and the improved gradient descent method. The proposed approach can not only identify fuzzy model, update its parameters and determine optimal output fuzzy sets simultaneously, but also resolve the uncontrollable problem led by the regions that data do not cover. The simulation results show the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed approach with the classical truck backer-upper control problem verifying.

文摘Y Liu and C Storey(1992)proposed the famous LS conjugate gradient method which has good numerical results.However,the LS method has very weak convergence under the Wolfe-type line search.In this paper,we give a new descent gradient method based on the LS method.It can guarantee the sufficient descent property at each iteration and the global convergence under the strong Wolfe line search.Finally,we also present extensive preliminary numerical experiments to show the efficiency of the proposed method by comparing with the famous PRP^+method.
文摘In this paper, a new nonlinear conjugate gradient method is proposed for large-scale unconstrained optimization. The sufficient descent property holds without any line searches. We use some steplength technique which ensures the Zoutendijk condition to be held, this method is proved to be globally convergent. Finally, we improve it, and do further analysis.

文摘The data of the year 1992 from 25 geomagnetic observatories affiliated to the geomagnetic network of State Seismological Bureau of China were processed using the principle of geomagnetic spatial gradient method. Through finding out the polynomial form of optimum fitting, comparatively good C values for four harmonic components of diurnal variations were obtained. By using the inverse method of non linear underdetermined problem, the electrical conductivity structures under the observatories were investgated. It is shown that there are differences of the C values and conductivity structures in the deep underground under the south western part and northern parts and other parts of China. We studied the possibility of improving the gradient method for investigation of the deep underground conductivity structure, and it is indicated that the gradient method is hopeful in the investigation of earth′s deep conductivity structure and the applied studies concerned.
文摘Regulating the power output for a power plant as demand for electricity fluctuates throughout the day is important for both economic purpose and the safety of the generator. In this work, gradient descent method together with regularization is investigated to study the electricity output related to vacuum level and temperature in the turbine. Ninety percent of the data was used to train the regression parameters while the remaining ten percent was used for validation. Final results showed that 99% accuracy could be obtained with this method. This opens a new window for electricity output prediction for power plants.
