Black wings of butterfly Ornithoptera goliath and infrared-band radiative cooling function of Rapala dioetas butterfly wings are associated with black pigment(e.g.,melanin)and unique hierarchical micro/nanostructures,...Black wings of butterfly Ornithoptera goliath and infrared-band radiative cooling function of Rapala dioetas butterfly wings are associated with black pigment(e.g.,melanin)and unique hierarchical micro/nanostructures,greatly stimulating biomimetic fabrication of functional photonic structures but mainly targeted to one prototype.Targeted at two-prototype integrated biomimetic fabrication from fully compositional/structural/functional aspects,femtosecond(fs)laser subtractive/additive-integrated hierarchical micro/nano-manufacturing technique is proposed in this work.This technique can one-step transfer refractory metals(e.g.,W,Mo,Nb,Ta)into black non-stoichiometric oxide nanomaterials with abundant oxygen vacancies and simultaneously enable the realization of in situ quasi-controllable micro/nanoscale hierarchical aggregation and assembly,all displaying black color but with tunable infrared emission.Adjusting the scan interval for biomimetic manufacturing can tailor the structural oxidation degree,the emission in the long-wave infrared(LWIR)band while keeping the blackness of hierarchical aggregates,and the confined height between the covering quartz plate and the ablated sample.The blackening efficiency of this technique can reach∼11.25 cm^(2)·min^(−1),opening opportunities for high-throughput optical/thermal applications.Selectively patterned Chinese characters,Arabic numbers,and English letters are easily fabricable,which are intrinsically invisible-infrared dual-band encrypted but decryptable via static/dynamic environment stimuli(e.g.,sample heating/cooling,introducing external hot/cold sources including human hands).The self-evolution from‘orderless’structuring to‘ordered’functionalization is validated for the proposed fs laser subtractive/additive-integrated biomimetic manufacturing,specifically from the synthesis of diverse black nanomaterials and the seemingly disordered micro/nano-aggregates to the ordered optical/thermal regulation capacities for a delicate modulation of information encryption and decryption,unveiling a new concept for future exploration and extension.展开更多
In modern society,information is becoming increasingly interconnected through networks,and the rapid development of information technology has caused people to pay more attention to the encryption and the protection o...In modern society,information is becoming increasingly interconnected through networks,and the rapid development of information technology has caused people to pay more attention to the encryption and the protection of information.Image encryption technology is a key technology for ensuring the security performance of images.We extracted single channel RGB component images from a color image using MATLAB programs,encrypted and decrypted the color images by randomly disrupting rows,columns and regions of the image.Combined with histograms and the visual judgments of encryption images,it is shown that the information of the original image cannot be obtained from the encryption image easily.The results show that the color-image encryptions with the algorithm we used have good effect and fast operation speed.Thus this algorithm has certain practical value.展开更多

Further-more, older Bluetooth 1.0A – 3.0 + HS (High-Speed) devices use E0 stream cipher for encryption that has been shown to be weak by numerous researchers and thus it could be considered insufficient for high security purposes nowadays. In our novel approach, the triple protection of AES, RSA, and TWOFISH would enhance the level of security, which shields the data transmission in the Bluetooth. As the first step of our novel approach, we first encrypted the message by using AES with 128-bit key and then further encrypted it by using Twofish with the same 128-bit key. Finally, the 128-bit key generated in the beginning will be encrypted by using RSA with 1024-bit key to protect its over-the-air transfer. In the receiving end, the decryption process goes in reverse order compared with encryption process. We showed with experimental figures that our novel algorithm improved the security of Bluetooth encryption by eliminating all known weaknesses and thus made data exchange between Bluetooth devices secure.展开更多

It consists principally in implementing two algorithms and two dis...This paper deals with the implementation of algorithms and tools for the security of academic data protection in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It consists principally in implementing two algorithms and two distinct tools to secure data and in this particular case, academic data of higher and university education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The design of algorithms meets the approach that any researcher in data encryption must use during the development of a computer system. Briefly, these algorithms are steps to follow to encrypt information in any programming language. These algorithms are based on symmetric and asymmetric encryption, the first one uses Christopher Hill’s algorithm, which uses texts in the form of matrices before they are encrypted and RSA as one of the asymmetric algorithms, it uses the prime numbers that we have encoded on more than 512 bits. As for tools, we have developed them in php which is only a programming language taken as an example because it is impossible to use all of them. The tools implemented are based on the algorithms of Caesar, Christopher Hill, and RSA showing how the encryption operations are carried out thanks to graphical interfaces. They are only tools for pedagogical reasons to help students and other researchers learn how to use developed algorithms. We have not developed them for pleasure but rather to be used in any information system, which would prevent and limit unauthorized access to computer systems. They will not be used only for the management of academic fees but for any other information system, which explains and shows the complexity of the tools developed. We have not been able to solve the problems of versions for the developed prototype, because if there is a new version later some functions may be obsolete, which would constitute the limitation of these tools. This work targets primarily the Ministry of Higher Education and Universities, which will make these results its own and implement them in order to solve the problem of intrusions, and unauthorized access to developers and researchers who will use tools already made instead of thinking about their development. We are trying to demonstrate the steps and the methodology that allowed us to reach our results, in the following lines.展开更多

Then, by using probability theory and algebraic principles, the decryption probability of pure-position permutation algorithms is verified theoretically; and then, by defining the operation system of fuzzy ergodic matrices, we improve a specific decryption al-gorithm. The prodigious advancements in contemporary technologies have also brought in the situation of unprecedented cyber-attacks.Further,the pin-based security system is an inadequate mechanism for handling such a scenario....The prodigious advancements in contemporary technologies have also brought in the situation of unprecedented cyber-attacks.Further,the pin-based security system is an inadequate mechanism for handling such a scenario.The reason is that hackers use multiple strategies for evading security systems and thereby gaining access to private data.This research proposes to deploy diverse approaches for authenticating and securing a connection amongst two devices/gadgets via sound,thereby disregarding the pins’manual verification.Further,the results demonstrate that the proposed approaches outperform conventional pin-based authentication or QR authentication approaches.Firstly,a random signal is encrypted,and then it is transformed into a wave file,after which it gets transmitted in a short burst via the device’s speakers.Subsequently,the other device/gadget captures these audio bursts through its microphone and decrypts the audio signal for getting the essential data for pairing.Besides,this model requires two devices/gadgets with speakers and a microphone,and no extra hardware such as a camera,for reading the QR code is required.The first module is tested with realtime data and generates high scores for the widely accepted accuracy metrics,including precision,Recall,F1 score,entropy,and mutual information(MI).Additionally,this work also proposes a module helps in a secured transmission of sensitive data by encrypting it over images and other files.This steganographic module includes two-stage encryption with two different encryption algorithms to transmit data by embedding inside a file.Several encryption algorithms and their combinations are taken for this system to compare the resultant file size.Both these systems engender high accuracies and provide secure connectivity,leading to a sustainable communication ecosystem.展开更多

Models use formalized approach to describe the frame of cryptology and the structure of cryptographic function, complete the mapping from cryptographic function property to its architecture, and accomplish the result presentation of data analysis and mapping at last. The model can solve two problems: the first one is to know the hierarchy of the cryptographic function in the library well;the second one is to know some kinds of information, such as related cryptology algorithm and protocol, etc. These function implements can display the result graphically. Properly created and securely communicated,non-disclosure agreement(NDA)can resolve most of the common disputes related to outsourcing of offshore software maintenance(OSMO).Occasionally,these NDAs are in the form of ...Properly created and securely communicated,non-disclosure agreement(NDA)can resolve most of the common disputes related to outsourcing of offshore software maintenance(OSMO).Occasionally,these NDAs are in the form of images.Since the work is done offshore,these agreements or images must be shared through the Internet or stored over the cloud.The breach of privacy,on the other hand,is a potential threat for the image owners as both the Internet and cloud servers are not void of danger.This article proposes a novel algorithm for securing the NDAs in the form of images.As an agreement is signed between the two parties,it will be encrypted before sending to the cloud server or travelling through the public network,the Internet.As the image is input to the algorithm,its pixels would be scrambled through the set of randomly generated rectangles for an arbitrary amount of time.The confusion effects have been realized through an XOR operation between the confused image,and chaotic data.Besides,5D multi-wing hyperchaotic system has been employed to spawn the chaotic vectors due to good properties of chaoticity it has.The machine experimentation and the security analysis through a comprehensive set of validation metric vividly demonstrate the robustness,defiance to the multifarious threats and the prospects for some real-world application of the proposed encryption algorithm for the NDA images.展开更多

But in the real life, most voters can neither understand the profound theory of cryptography nor perform the complicated cryptographic computation. An e-voting system is presented in this paper to leverage the use of cryptography. It combines the advantages of voting scheme of Moran-Naor and voting scheme based on homomorphic encryption. It makes use of the cryptographic technique, but it hides the details of cryptographic computation from voters. Compared with voting scheme of Moran-Naor, the new system has three advantages: the ballots can be recovered when the voting machine breaks down, the costly cut-and-choose zero-knowledge proofs for shuffling votes made by the voting machine are avoided and the partial tally result in each voting machine can be kept secret.展开更多

The current research work proposed a novel optimization-based 2D-SIMM(Two-Dimensional Sine Iterative chaotic map with infinite collapse Mod-ulation Map)model for image encryption.The proposed 2D-SIMM model is derived o...The current research work proposed a novel optimization-based 2D-SIMM(Two-Dimensional Sine Iterative chaotic map with infinite collapse Mod-ulation Map)model for image encryption.The proposed 2D-SIMM model is derived out of sine map and Iterative Chaotic Map with Infinite Collapse(ICMIC).In this technique,scrambling effect is achieved with the help of Chaotic Shift Transform(CST).Chaotic Shift Transform is used to change the value of pixels in the input image while the substituted value is cyclically shifted according to the chaotic sequence generated by 2D-SIMM model.These chaotic sequences,generated using 2D-SIMM model,are sensitive to initial conditions.In the proposed algorithm,these initial conditions are optimized using JAYA optimization algorithm.Correlation coefficient and entropy are considered asfitness functions in this study to evaluate the best solution for initial conditions.The simulation results clearly shows that the proposed algorithm achieved a better performance over existing algorithms.In addition,the VLSI implementation of the proposed algorithm was also carried out using Xilinx system generator.With optimization,the correlation coefficient was-0.014096 and without optimization,it was 0.002585.展开更多

文摘A memristive Hopfield neural network(MHNN)with a special activation gradient is proposed by adding a suitable memristor to the Hopfield neural network(HNN)with a special activation gradient.The MHNN is simulated and dynamically analyzed,and implemented on FPGA.Then,a new pseudo-random number generator(PRNG)based on MHNN is proposed.The post-processing unit of the PRNG is composed of nonlinear post-processor and XOR calculator,which effectively ensures the randomness of PRNG.The experiments in this paper comply with the IEEE 754-1985 high precision32-bit floating point standard and are done on the Vivado design tool using a Xilinx XC7 Z020 CLG400-2 FPGA chip and the Verilog-HDL hardware programming language.The random sequence generated by the PRNG proposed in this paper has passed the NIST SP800-22 test suite and security analysis,proving its randomness and high performance.Finally,an image encryption system based on PRNG is proposed and implemented on FPGA,which proves the value of the image encryption system in the field of data encryption connected to the Internet of Things(Io T).
文摘This paper analyzes the problems in image encryption and decryption based on chaos theory. This article introduces the application of the two-stage Logistic algorithm in image encryption and decryption, then by information entropy analysis it is concluded that the security of this algorithm is higher compared with the original image;And a new image encryption and decryption algorithm based on the combination of two-stage Logistic mapping and <i>M</i> sequence is proposed. This new algorithm is very sensitive to keys;the key space is large and its security is higher than two-stage Logistic mapping of image encryption and decryption technology.
文摘In this paper, we proposed a novel triple algorithm based on RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman), AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), and TwoFish in order to further improve the security of Bluetooth that is currently using only 128-bit AES for encryption in its latest versions (Bluetooth 4.0 - 5.0). Further-more, older Bluetooth 1.0A – 3.0 + HS (High-Speed) devices use E0 stream cipher for encryption that has been shown to be weak by numerous researchers and thus it could be considered insufficient for high security purposes nowadays. In our novel approach, the triple protection of AES, RSA, and TWOFISH would enhance the level of security, which shields the data transmission in the Bluetooth. As the first step of our novel approach, we first encrypted the message by using AES with 128-bit key and then further encrypted it by using Twofish with the same 128-bit key. Finally, the 128-bit key generated in the beginning will be encrypted by using RSA with 1024-bit key to protect its over-the-air transfer. In the receiving end, the decryption process goes in reverse order compared with encryption process. We showed with experimental figures that our novel algorithm improved the security of Bluetooth encryption by eliminating all known weaknesses and thus made data exchange between Bluetooth devices secure.

When performing file transfers, you can encrypt files matrix transformation. Article presents a matrix-based electronic document encryption and decryption algorithm, which relies on a special class of matrices combinatorial problems, the method to improve the security of electronic document system is feasible and effective, and finally give the source code and programming software.
文摘This paper deals with the implementation of algorithms and tools for the security of academic data protection in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It consists principally in implementing two algorithms and two distinct tools to secure data and in this particular case, academic data of higher and university education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The design of algorithms meets the approach that any researcher in data encryption must use during the development of a computer system. Briefly, these algorithms are steps to follow to encrypt information in any programming language. These algorithms are based on symmetric and asymmetric encryption, the first one uses Christopher Hill’s algorithm, which uses texts in the form of matrices before they are encrypted and RSA as one of the asymmetric algorithms, it uses the prime numbers that we have encoded on more than 512 bits. As for tools, we have developed them in php which is only a programming language taken as an example because it is impossible to use all of them. The tools implemented are based on the algorithms of Caesar, Christopher Hill, and RSA showing how the encryption operations are carried out thanks to graphical interfaces. They are only tools for pedagogical reasons to help students and other researchers learn how to use developed algorithms. We have not developed them for pleasure but rather to be used in any information system, which would prevent and limit unauthorized access to computer systems. They will not be used only for the management of academic fees but for any other information system, which explains and shows the complexity of the tools developed. We have not been able to solve the problems of versions for the developed prototype, because if there is a new version later some functions may be obsolete, which would constitute the limitation of these tools. This work targets primarily the Ministry of Higher Education and Universities, which will make these results its own and implement them in order to solve the problem of intrusions, and unauthorized access to developers and researchers who will use tools already made instead of thinking about their development. We are trying to demonstrate the steps and the methodology that allowed us to reach our results, in the following lines.

文摘With the development of big data and cloud computing technology,more and more users choose to store data on cloud servers,which brings much convenience to their management and use of data,and also the risk of data leakage.A common method to prevent data leakage is to encrypt the data before uploading it,but the traditional encryption method is often not conducive to data sharing and querying.In this paper,a new kind of Attribute-Based Encryption(ABE)scheme,which is called the Sub-String Searchable ABE(SSS-ABE)scheme,is proposed for the sharing and querying of the encrypted data.In the SSS-ABE scheme,the data owner encrypts the data under an access structure,and only the data user who satisfies the access structure can query and decrypt it.The data user can make a substring query on the whole ciphertext without setting keywords in advance.In addition,the outsourcing method is also introduced to reduce the local computation of the decryption process so that the outsourcing SSS-ABE scheme can be applied to IoT devices.

文摘Pure position permutation image encryption algorithms, commonly used as image encryption investigated in this work are unfortunately frail under known-text attack. In view of the weakness of pure position permutation algorithm,we put forward an effective decryption algorithm for all pure-position permutation algorithms. First, a summary of the pure position permutation image encryption algorithms is given by introducing the concept of ergodic matrices. Then, by using probability theory and algebraic principles, the decryption probability of pure-position permutation algorithms is verified theoretically; and then, by defining the operation system of fuzzy ergodic matrices, we improve a specific decryption al-gorithm. Finally, some simulation results are shown.
文摘The prodigious advancements in contemporary technologies have also brought in the situation of unprecedented cyber-attacks.Further,the pin-based security system is an inadequate mechanism for handling such a scenario.The reason is that hackers use multiple strategies for evading security systems and thereby gaining access to private data.This research proposes to deploy diverse approaches for authenticating and securing a connection amongst two devices/gadgets via sound,thereby disregarding the pins’manual verification.Further,the results demonstrate that the proposed approaches outperform conventional pin-based authentication or QR authentication approaches.Firstly,a random signal is encrypted,and then it is transformed into a wave file,after which it gets transmitted in a short burst via the device’s speakers.Subsequently,the other device/gadget captures these audio bursts through its microphone and decrypts the audio signal for getting the essential data for pairing.Besides,this model requires two devices/gadgets with speakers and a microphone,and no extra hardware such as a camera,for reading the QR code is required.The first module is tested with realtime data and generates high scores for the widely accepted accuracy metrics,including precision,Recall,F1 score,entropy,and mutual information(MI).Additionally,this work also proposes a module helps in a secured transmission of sensitive data by encrypting it over images and other files.This steganographic module includes two-stage encryption with two different encryption algorithms to transmit data by embedding inside a file.Several encryption algorithms and their combinations are taken for this system to compare the resultant file size.Both these systems engender high accuracies and provide secure connectivity,leading to a sustainable communication ecosystem.

Then it talks about the old concepts holding back the Block Cipher and presents a new concept. Finally, it introduces our patent-Permutation Code and the Encipher/Decipher. Its encryption strength exceeds 2^N. With DES having been proved unsafe, we should not enhance the encryption strength just by increasing its block length just as AES does.
文摘When doing reverse analysis of program’s binary codes, it is often to encounter the function of cryptographic library. In order to reduce workload, a cryptographic library model has been designed by analysts. Models use formalized approach to describe the frame of cryptology and the structure of cryptographic function, complete the mapping from cryptographic function property to its architecture, and accomplish the result presentation of data analysis and mapping at last. The model can solve two problems: the first one is to know the hierarchy of the cryptographic function in the library well;the second one is to know some kinds of information, such as related cryptology algorithm and protocol, etc. These function implements can display the result graphically. The model can find relevant knowledge for the analysts automatically and rapidly, which is helpful to the learning of the overall abstract structure of cryptology.

文摘Properly created and securely communicated,non-disclosure agreement(NDA)can resolve most of the common disputes related to outsourcing of offshore software maintenance(OSMO).Occasionally,these NDAs are in the form of images.Since the work is done offshore,these agreements or images must be shared through the Internet or stored over the cloud.The breach of privacy,on the other hand,is a potential threat for the image owners as both the Internet and cloud servers are not void of danger.This article proposes a novel algorithm for securing the NDAs in the form of images.As an agreement is signed between the two parties,it will be encrypted before sending to the cloud server or travelling through the public network,the Internet.As the image is input to the algorithm,its pixels would be scrambled through the set of randomly generated rectangles for an arbitrary amount of time.The confusion effects have been realized through an XOR operation between the confused image,and chaotic data.Besides,5D multi-wing hyperchaotic system has been employed to spawn the chaotic vectors due to good properties of chaoticity it has.The machine experimentation and the security analysis through a comprehensive set of validation metric vividly demonstrate the robustness,defiance to the multifarious threats and the prospects for some real-world application of the proposed encryption algorithm for the NDA images.

文摘Cryptography is an important tool in the design and implementation of e-voting schemes since it can provide verifiability, which is not provided in the traditional voting. But in the real life, most voters can neither understand the profound theory of cryptography nor perform the complicated cryptographic computation. An e-voting system is presented in this paper to leverage the use of cryptography. It combines the advantages of voting scheme of Moran-Naor and voting scheme based on homomorphic encryption. It makes use of the cryptographic technique, but it hides the details of cryptographic computation from voters. Compared with voting scheme of Moran-Naor, the new system has three advantages: the ballots can be recovered when the voting machine breaks down, the costly cut-and-choose zero-knowledge proofs for shuffling votes made by the voting machine are avoided and the partial tally result in each voting machine can be kept secret.
文摘In this work, we suggest a system for chaos-based encryption of electrocardiographic signals. It uses simple electronics organized around a colpitts chaotic oscillator. The system has been designed, implemented and tested. The encrypted signal has been decrypted and compared to the original ECG signal. Experimental results were analysed and proved encouraging.
文摘There have been various security measures that deal with data security in wired or wireless network, where these measures help to make sure that data from one point to another is intact, by identifying, authenticating, authorizing the right users and also encrypting the data over the network. Data communication between computers has brought about countless benefits to users, but the same information technologies have created a gap, a vulnerable space in the communication medium, where the data that’s been exchanged or transferred, thereby causing threats to the data. Especially data on wireless networks are much exposed to threats since the network has been broadcasted unlike a wired network. Data security in the past dealth with integrity, confidentiality and ensuring authorized usage of the data and the system. Less or no focus was placed on the reactive approach or measures to data security which is capable of responding properly to mitigate an attacker and avoid harm and also to prevent future attacks. This research is going to expose the mechanisms and measures of data security in wireless networks from the reactive security approaches point of view and exposes the reactive approaches used to enhance data security.
文摘Cloud computing is a kind of computing that depends on shared figuring assets instead of having nearby servers or individual gadgets to deal with applications. Technology is moving to the cloud more and more. It’s not just a trend, the shift away from ancient package models to package as service has steadily gained momentum over the last ten years. Looking forward, the following decade of cloud computing guarantees significantly more approaches to work from anyplace, utilizing cell phones. Cloud computing focused on better performances, better scalability and resource consumption but it also has some security issue with the data stored in it. The proposed algorithm intents to come with some solutions that will reduce the security threats and ensure far better security to the data stored in cloud.
文摘The current research work proposed a novel optimization-based 2D-SIMM(Two-Dimensional Sine Iterative chaotic map with infinite collapse Mod-ulation Map)model for image encryption.The proposed 2D-SIMM model is derived out of sine map and Iterative Chaotic Map with Infinite Collapse(ICMIC).In this technique,scrambling effect is achieved with the help of Chaotic Shift Transform(CST).Chaotic Shift Transform is used to change the value of pixels in the input image while the substituted value is cyclically shifted according to the chaotic sequence generated by 2D-SIMM model.These chaotic sequences,generated using 2D-SIMM model,are sensitive to initial conditions.In the proposed algorithm,these initial conditions are optimized using JAYA optimization algorithm.Correlation coefficient and entropy are considered asfitness functions in this study to evaluate the best solution for initial conditions.The simulation results clearly shows that the proposed algorithm achieved a better performance over existing algorithms.In addition,the VLSI implementation of the proposed algorithm was also carried out using Xilinx system generator.With optimization,the correlation coefficient was-0.014096 and without optimization,it was 0.002585.
