The defects on surfaces and edges cause further weakening with various effects depending on defect type, size, position and orientation, while the edge dimples are the most influential. For γ-TiAl rods with surface dimples, dislocations nucleate from an edge of the rod when dimples are small, dimple dislocation nucleation occurs only when the dimples are larger than a strain rate dependent critical size. The dislocations nucleated upon [001]tension are super dislocations with Burger vectors 〈011] or 1/2 〈 112] containing four 1/6 〈 112 〉 partials. The effects of surface scratches are orientation and shape sensitive. Scratches parallel to the loading direction have little influence, while sharp ones perpendicular to the loading direction may cause crack and thus should be avoided. We here present a study of hydrogen and its deuterated molecules dissociation on Pd surfaces based on a full-dimensional potential energy surface (PES) constructed by using a simple second moment approximation reactive force field (SMA RFF). The dynamical behavior of the sphere is influenced by the external energy input from an electromagnetic shaker which is proportional to ε,where ε is equal to the ratio between the square of the dimensionless acceleration Γ and the square of the vibration frequency f of the container. Empirical results reveal that as the VGM transits from local-to-global convection,an increase in ε generally corresponds to an increase in the magnitudes of the rotational ω(RS) and translational v(CM) velocities of the sphere, an increase in the observed tilting angle θ(bed) of the VGM bed, and a decrease in the time t(wall) it takes the sphere to roll down the tilted VGM bed and hit the container wall. During unstable convection, an increase in ε results in a sharp decrease in the sphere's peak and mean ω(RS),and a slight increase in t(wall). For the range of ε values covered in this study, the sphere may execute persistent rotation, wobbling or jamming, depending on the vibration parameters and the resulting convective flow in the system.展开更多

The method is called dynamic surface control. Traditional backstepping algorithms require repeated differentiations of the modelled nonlinearities. The addition of n first order low pass filters allows the algorithm to be implemented without differentiating any model nonlinearities, thus ending the complexity arising due to the 'explosion of terms' that makes other methods difficult to implement in practice. The combined robust adaptive backstepping/first order filter system is proved to be semiglobally asymptotically stable for sufficiently fast filters by a singular perturbation approach. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the controller designed by the method.展开更多

It can monitor the large scope of dynamic deformation process of surface subsidence basin and better reflect the surface subsidence form in different stages. But under the influence of factors such as noise and other factors, the tilt and horizontal deformation curves regularity calculated by DInSAR data are poorer and the actual deviation is larger. The tilt and horizontal deformations are the important indices for the safety of surface objects protection. Numerical simulation method was used to study the dynamic deformation of LW32 of West Cliff colliery in Australia based on the DInSAR monitoring data. The result indicates that the subsidence curves of two methods fit well and the correlation coefficient is more than 95%. The other deformations calculated by numerical simulation results are close to the theory form. Therefore, considering the influence, the surface and its subsidiary structures and buildings due to mining, the numerical simulation method based on the DInSAR data can reveal the distribution rules of the surface dynamic deformation values and supply the shortcomings of DInSAR technology. The research shows that the method has good applicability and can provide reference for similar situation.展开更多

Consequently, these polymers have attracted considerable interest. However, the mechanical properties of fluorinated polyurethanes usually decline with increasing fluorine contents. The blending of fluorinated polyurethanes with normal polyurethane was carried out to achieve balanced mechanical and surface properties. It was found that polyurethane with good mechanical properties and low surface energy can be obtained by adding a small amount of fluorinated polyurethane. The fluorinated side chains can easily migrate to uppermost surfaces of the blends untill the fluorine level at the surface becomes almost saturated. It has been shown from contact angle, XPS and AFM measurements that only as little as 0.34 wt% of fluorine level is enough to produce a surface saturated with fluorine, and the fluorine level at the uppermost surface is one hundred times higher than that in the blend bulk. The final outer surface structures of the polyurethane blend were independent of the content of the fluorinated polyurethane in the blends due to the surfaces saturated by fluorine.展开更多

The fully integrated guidance and autopilot model is established by combining the nonlinear missile dynamics with the nonlinear dynamics describing the pursuit situation of a missile and a target in the three-dimensional space. The integrated guidance and autopilot design problem is further converted to a state regulation problem of a time-varying nonlinear system with matched and unmatched uncertainties. A new and simple adaptive block dynamic surface control algorithm is proposed to address such a state regulation problem. The stability of the closed-loop system is proven based on the Lyapunov theory. The six degrees of freedom (6DOF) nonlinear numerical simulation results show that the proposed integrated guidance and autopilot algorithm can ensure the accuracy of target interception and the robust stability of the closed-loop system with respect to the uncertainties in the missile dynamics.展开更多

The external disturbance and the system uncer tainty are efficiently tackled using a Nussbaum disturbance observer (NDO), and the adaptive controller is constructed by combining the dynamic surface control technique to handle the problem of "explosion of complexity" inherent in the conventional backstepping methodl For handling the input saturation, an auxiliary system is designed with the same order as that of the studied MIMO attitude system. Using the error between the saturation input and the desired control input as the input of the designed auxiliary system, a series of signals are generated to compensate for the effect of the saturation in the dynamic surface control design. It is proved that the developed control scheme can guarantee that all signals of the closedloop control system are semiglobally uniformly bounded. Finally, simulation results illustrate that the proposed control scheme can achieve satis factory tracking performance under the composite effects of the input saturation and the external disturbance.展开更多

A time-varying integrated guidance and control model with unmatched uncertainties is first formulated for the pitch channel, and an adaptive dynamic surface control algorithm is further developed to deal with these unmatched uncertainties. It is proved that the proposed feedback controller can ensure not only the accuracy of target interception, but also the stability of the missile dynamics. Then, the same control approach is further applied to the control design of the yaw and roll channels. The 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) nonlinear missile simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and advantage of the proposed integrated guidance and control design scheme.展开更多

文摘To conduct extensive research on the application of ionic liquids as collectors in mineral flotation, ethanol(EtOH)was used as a solvent to dissolve hydrophobic ionic liquids(ILs)to simplify the reagent regime.Interesting phenomena were observed in which EtOH exerted different effects on the flotation efficiency of two ILs with similar structures. When EtOH was used to dissolve 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride(C12[mim]Cl)and as a collector for pure quartz flotation tests at a concentration of 1×10^(−5)mol·L^(−1),quartz recovery increased from 23.77%to 77.91%compared with ILs dissolved in water. However, quartz recovery of 1-dodecyl-3-methylim-idazolium hexafluorophosphate(C12[mim]PF6)decreased from 60.45%to 24.52%under the same conditions. The conditional experi-ments under 1×10^(−5)mol·L^(−1)ILs for EtOH concentration and under 2vol%EtOH for ILs concentration confirmed this difference. After being affected by EtOH,the mixed ore flotation tests of quartz and hematite showed a decrease in the hematite concentrate grade and re-covery for the C12[mim]Cl collector, whereas the hematite concentrate grade and recovery for the C12[mim]PF6 collector increased. On the basis of these differences and observations of flotation foam,two-phase bubble observation tests were carried out.The EtOH promoted the foam height of two ILs during aeration. It accelerated static froth defoaming after aeration stopped, and the foam of C12[mim]PF6 de-foaming especially quickly. In the discussion of flotation tests and foam observation,an attempt was made to explain the reasons and mechanisms behind the diverse phenomena using the dynamic surface tension effect and solvation effect results from EtOH.The solva-tion effect was verified through Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and Zeta potential tests.Al-though EtOH affects the adsorption of ILs on the ore surface during flotation negatively,it holds an positive value of inhibiting foam mer-ging during flotation aeration and accelerating the defoaming of static foam. And induce more robust secondary enrichment in the mixed ore flotation of the C12[mim]PF6 collector, facilitating effective mixed ore separation even under inhibitor-free conditions.

文摘We investigate the rotational dynamics of a low-density sphere on the free surface of a vertically vibrated granular material(VGM). For the range of ε values covered in this study, the sphere may execute persistent rotation, wobbling or jamming, depending on the vibration parameters and the resulting convective flow in the system.
文摘We propose a new method for robust adaptive backstepping control of nonlinear systems with parametric uncertainties and disturbances in the strict feedback form. The simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the controller designed by the method.

文摘Differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) technology is a new method to monitor the dynamic surface subsidence. The research shows that the method has good applicability and can provide reference for similar situation.

文摘It has been well known that fluorinated polyurethanes exhibit uniquely low surface energy, biocompatibility and biostability, thermal and oxidative stability and nonsticking behavior. The final outer surface structures of the polyurethane blend were independent of the content of the fluorinated polyurethane in the blends due to the surfaces saturated by fluorine.

文摘The surface physiochemical features of nanomedicine are essential for controlling biointerfacial interactions in biological compartments and achieving the programmed delivery scenario to intracellular targets. This work presents a novel dynamic triple-transformable surface engineering strategy that can adapt to sequential variable biological microenvironments and intelligently managing the previously acknowledged biological obstacles.By employing click chemistry, the surface of a classical PEGylated pDNA delivery nanoparticles were tethered with a multiple of charge-reversible polymers to endow the dynamic biointerfacial surroundings.Crucially, the dynamic surroundings had negative charge under physiological circumstances(pH 7.4),which inhibited structural disintegration brought on by charged biological species and anionic nuclease degradation. In addition,by regulating the first pass effect, the nanoparticles demonstrated appreciable stealth function that led to persistent systemic retention and improved bioavailability and consistent internalization into the targeted cells. In subsequence to cell endocytosis, translocation from the digestive endolysosomes to the targeted cytosol was facilitated due to acidification(endosomal pH 5.5)of the dynamic surroundings into highly positive charge, consequently leading to explosive disruptive effects on the endolysosomal structures and retrieve the bio-vulnerable pDNA payloads. In conclusion, our proposed unique dynamic surface chemistry provides a viable delivery mechanism that successfully navigates a series of biological roadblocks and collaborates to effectively express the encapsulated pDNA at the targeted cells.

文摘Enhancing the stability and performance of practical control systems in the presence of nonlinearity, time delay, and uncertainty remains a significant challenge.Particularly,a class of strict-feedback nonlinear uncertain systems characterized by unknown control directions and time-varying input delay lacks comprehensive solutions. In this paper,we propose an observerbased adaptive tracking controller to address this gap.Neural networks are utilized to handle uncertainty, and a unique coordinate transformation is employed to untangle the coupling between input delay and unknown control directions.Subsequently,a new auxiliary signal counters the impact of time-varying input delay, while a Nussbaum function is introduced to solve the problem of unknown control directions. The leverage of an advanced dynamic surface control technique avoids the“complexity explosion”and reduces boundary layer errors.Synthesizing these techniques ensures that all the closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded(SGUUB),and the tracking error converges to a small region around the origin by selecting suitable parameters.Simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach.

文摘A novel integrated guidance and autopilot design method is proposed for homing missiles based on the adaptive block dynamic surface control approach. The six degrees of freedom (6DOF) nonlinear numerical simulation results show that the proposed integrated guidance and autopilot algorithm can ensure the accuracy of target interception and the robust stability of the closed-loop system with respect to the uncertainties in the missile dynamics.

文摘Abstract An adaptive dynamic surface control (DSC) scheme is proposed for the multiinput and multioutput (MIMO) attitude motion of nearspace vehicles (NSVs) in the presence of external dis turbance, system uncertainty and input saturation. Finally, simulation results illustrate that the proposed control scheme can achieve satis factory tracking performance under the composite effects of the input saturation and the external disturbance.

文摘Integrated guidance and control for homing missiles utilizing adaptive dynamic surface control approach is considered based on the three channels independence design idea. The 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) nonlinear missile simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and advantage of the proposed integrated guidance and control design scheme.

文摘This paper describes an adaptive control approach for an air-breathing hypersonic vehicle. The control objective is to provide robust altitudes and velocity tracking in the presence of model uncertainties and varying disturbances. A fuzzy-neural disturbance observer is developed to estimate uncertainties and disturbances, and the adaptive controller is synthesized by the dynamic surface approach combing with the observer. The tracking error at the steady state can be guaranteed to converge to inside of a small residue set which the size of the set can be an arbitrary small value. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented approach.

文摘Based on fuzzy adaptive and dynamic surface(FADS),an integrated guidance and control(IGC)approach was proposed for large caliber naval gun guided projectile, which was robust to target maneuver, canard dynamic characteristics, and multiple constraints, such as impact angle, limited measurement of line of sight(LOS)angle rate and nonlinear saturation of canard deflection.Initially,a strict feedback cascade model of IGC in longitudinal plane was established, and extended state observer(ESO)was designed to estimate LOS angle rate and uncertain disturbances with unknown boundary inside and outside of system, including aerodynamic parameters perturbation, target maneuver and model errors.Secondly, aiming at zeroing LOS angle tracking error and LOS angle rate in finite time,a nonsingular terminal sliding mode(NTSM)was designed with adaptive exponential reaching law.Furthermore, combining with dynamic surface, which prevented the complex differential of virtual control laws, the fuzzy adaptive systems were designed to approximate observation errors of uncertain disturbances and to reduce chatter of control law. Finally, the adaptive Nussbaum gain function was introduced to compensate nonlinear saturation of canard deflection. The LOS angle tracking error and LOS angle rate were convergent in finite time and whole system states were uniform ultimately bounded, rigorously proven by Lyapunov stability theory.Hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS)and digital simulation experiments both showed FADS provided guided projectile with good guidance performance while striking targets with different maneuvering forms.
