Alkaline soil is characterized by high soluble salt content,elevated pH levels,and ionic imbalance,all of which collectively intensify the harmful effects of alkaline stress on plants.To gain molecular insights into a...Alkaline soil is characterized by high soluble salt content,elevated pH levels,and ionic imbalance,all of which collectively intensify the harmful effects of alkaline stress on plants.To gain molecular insights into alkaline tolerance(AT),we evaluated 13 AT-related traits in 508 diverse rice accessions from the 3K Rice Germplasm Project at the seedling stage.A total of 2929764,2059114,and 1365868 single nucleotide polymorphisms were used to identify alkaline-tolerance QTLs via genome-wide association studies(GWAS)in the entire population as well as in the xian and geng subpopulations,respectively.Candidate genes and their superior haplotypes were further identified through gene-based association,haplotype analysis,and gene function annotation.In total,99 QTLs were identified for AT by GWAS,and three genes(LOC_Os03g49050 for qSSD3.1,LOC_Os05g48760 for qSKC5,and LOC_Os12g01922 for qSNC12)were selected as the most promising candidate genes.Furthermore,we successfully mined superior alleles of key candidate genes from natural variants associated with AT-related traits.This study identified crucial candidate genes and their favorable alleles for AT traits,laying a foundation for further gene cloning and the development of AT rice varieties via marker-assisted selection.展开更多
This work focuses on the formulation of a dietary cold sauce,mayonnaise,which combines the therapeutic properties of two basic ingredients:PSO(Pumpkin Seed Oil)and quail egg,both of which are renowned for their high f...This work focuses on the formulation of a dietary cold sauce,mayonnaise,which combines the therapeutic properties of two basic ingredients:PSO(Pumpkin Seed Oil)and quail egg,both of which are renowned for their high functional properties.PSO is essentially made up of unsaturated fatty acids(50%to 65%)including linoleic acid,from the omega 6 family,oleic acid(20%to 50%),a monounsaturated fatty acid(omega 9),cucurbitin,phytosterols,tri-terpenes and vitamin E(3.5 mg%).The nutritional,fatty acid,vitamin and mineral compositions of the mayonnaise compared with the ingredients,the physico-chemical characteristics of the quail egg,the PSO and the tasting of the mayonnaise were determined and gave results in terms of variable contents which are recorded in Tables 2-8.The results obtained were satisfactory.Mayonnaise,a semi-solid emulsion of oil in water with viscoelastic properties due to the network formed by lipoproteins adsorbed around neighbouring drops of oil,was prepared using the ratio of quail egg and PSO 1/4.This study may offer an alternative way of making dietary sauces.展开更多
Steel-concrete composite beams,due to their superior mechanical properties,are widely utilized in engineering structures.This study systematically investigates the calculation methods for internal forces and load-bear...Steel-concrete composite beams,due to their superior mechanical properties,are widely utilized in engineering structures.This study systematically investigates the calculation methods for internal forces and load-bearing capacity of composite beams based on elastic theory,with a focus on the transformed section method and its application under varying neutral axis positions.By deriving the geometric characteristics of the transformed section and incorporating a reduction factor accounting for slip effects,a computational model for sectional stress and ultimate load-bearing capacity is established.The results demonstrate that the slip effect significantly influences the flexural load-bearing capacity of composite beams.The proposed reduction factor,which considers the influence of the steel beam’s top flange thickness,offers higher accuracy compared to traditional methods.These findings provide a theoretical foundation for the design and analysis of composite beams,with significant practical engineering value.展开更多
Southern corn rust(SCR)is an airborne fungal disease caused by Puccinia polysora Underw.(P.polysora)that adversely impacts maize quality and yields worldwide.Screening for new elite SCR-resistant maize loci or genes h...Southern corn rust(SCR)is an airborne fungal disease caused by Puccinia polysora Underw.(P.polysora)that adversely impacts maize quality and yields worldwide.Screening for new elite SCR-resistant maize loci or genes has the potential to enhance overall resistance to this pathogen.Using phenotypic SCR resistance-related data collected over two years and three geographical environments,a genome-wide association study was carried out in this work,which eventually identified 91 loci that were substantially correlated with SCR susceptibility.These included 13 loci that were significant in at least three environments and overlapped with 74 candidate genes(B73_RefGen_v4).Comparative transcriptomic analyses were then performed to identify the genes related to SCR infection,with 2,586 and 797 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)ultimately being identified in the resistant Qi319and susceptible 8112 inbred lines following P.polysora infection,respectively,including 306 genes common to both lines.Subsequent integrative multi-omics investigations identified four potential candidate SCR response-related genes.One of these genes is ZmHCT9,which encodes the protein hydroxycinnamoyl transferase 9.This gene was up-regulated in susceptible inbred lines and linked to greater P.polysora resistance as confirmed through cucumber mosaic virus(CMV)-based virus induced-gene silencing(VIGS)system-mediated gene silencing.These data provide important insights into the genetic basis of the maize SCR response.They will be useful for for future research on potential genes related to SCR resistance in maize.展开更多

The main features of the algorithm include: 1) a simple but practical technique based on VOF me...In this paper, an algorithm for simulating fluid flow and heat transfer for mold filling of shaped castings is presented. The main features of the algorithm include: 1) a simple but practical technique based on VOF method to determine free surface, 2) an explicit scheme of enthalpy to solve the energy equation more efficiently, and 3) an effective treatment to modify the flux deviation due to pressure iteration. In order to verify these methods, well controlled experiments have been repeatedly done with both water analog and gray iron pouring experiments to record the flow patterns and temperature variations. The calculated results are in accordance with the experimental ones. For the applications, the simulated initial temperature distribution right after mold filling was used to analyse subsequent solidification and to predict shrinkage defects. Actual castings were poured and tested in a foundry plant. The reuslts show that the defects predication with considering fluid flow effects is more precise than that without considering the effects.展开更多

The results shows (1) during partial melting, Mg# [=Mg/(Mg+Fe)]and Cr# [=Cr/(Cr-Al)]of spinel increase with an increase in degrees of melting) (2) during subsolidus equilibration, with increasing temperatures, Mg# of spinel increases but Cr# of spinel remains almost unchanged in dunite and increases slightly in Iherzolite and harzburgite. The negative and quasi-linear Mg# -Cr# correlation of spinel represents an isotherm of total non-equilibrium. The same results have been obtained by means of mathematical modelling. It is also proved by Mg# -Cr# correlation of spinel in natural peridotites. As a result of the spinel subsolidus equilibration, only variation of Cr# of spinel is limited, and then Cr# of spinel can be used to estimate the relative degree of melting undergone by host rocks. The bigger Cr# of spinel is, the higher the degree of melting will be. By contrast, during crystallization magma, Mg# and Cr# of spinel decrease with decreasing temperatures. In the presence of Cd (Ⅱ), Bi(Ⅲ) reacts almost instantaneously with T (4TMAP)P in a 0. 6 mol/l NaAc—HAC buffer (PH5.8) at room temperature. The composition of the complex is T(4TMAP)P: Bi=1:1. The absorbance complex obeys Beer's law over the Bi(Ⅲ) concentration range 0.1—1.4 μg/ml. The linear relative coefficient γ is 0.9998. The apparent molar absorptivity was 1.75×10~5 1. mol^(-1). cm^(-1) at 463nm. The relative standard deviation of the method is 1.50% for Bi(Ⅲ) 7ug/10ml (10 determinations). The interference of foreign ions has been examined. This simple and rapid method can be applied to the assay of Bi(Ⅲ) in some tablets directly.展开更多

文摘A new highly sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of micro amounts of bismuth (Ⅲ), based on the formation of Bi (Ⅲ)—meso—tetrakis—(4—N—trimethylammonium phenyl) porphine [T (4TMAP) P] complex. In the presence of Cd (Ⅱ), Bi(Ⅲ) reacts almost instantaneously with T (4TMAP)P in a 0. 6 mol/l NaAc—HAC buffer (PH5.8) at room temperature. The composition of the complex is T(4TMAP)P: Bi=1:1. The absorbance complex obeys Beer's law over the Bi(Ⅲ) concentration range 0.1—1.4 μg/ml. The linear relative coefficient γ is 0.9998. The apparent molar absorptivity was 1.75×10~5 1. mol^(-1). cm^(-1) at 463nm. The relative standard deviation of the method is 1.50% for Bi(Ⅲ) 7ug/10ml (10 determinations). The interference of foreign ions has been examined. This simple and rapid method can be applied to the assay of Bi(Ⅲ) in some tablets directly.
文摘In 1979, the Changchun Jingyuetan Remote Sensing Study and Test Site (RSSTS)began its work, and it was formally established in 1985. The RSSTS is subordinated the Changchun Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences and is supported by the Changchun Institute of Geography and Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Machnics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is under the management of the Resource & Environment Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences and it is the study base of remote sensing basis and application tests in China. The RSSTS is situated in the Jingyuetan scenic spot of the suburbs of Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is located at 43°40′—43°50′N and 125°18′-125°18′E.

文摘The present paper reports a novel chemiluminescence,i.e,isopropyl alcohol-C10^--H_2O_2 system.The chemiluminescence intensity is proportional to the concentration of C10^- within certain range.Based on this fact,a new chemiluminescence method for the determination of micro amount of C10^- has been developed.The detection limit is 2.6 x 10^(-8)g/ml C10^- and the dynamic linear range is 2.6 x 10^(-8)g/ml to 2.3 x 10^(-5)g/ml C10^-.The method has good selectivlty and reproducibility.
