Janus effect of inter-orbital hybridization on correlation strength of strongly correlated systems:A dynamical mean-field study

In multi-orbital systems,the correlation strength is typically attributed to Coulomb interactions and Hund's couplings.However,this study demonstrates that on-site inter-orbital hybridization can also significant influence the correlation strength of the system.We investigate the impact of on-site inter-orbital hybridization on the correlation strength of a two-orbital Hubbard model on a square lattice using the dynamical mean-field theory combined with Lanczos exact diagonalization.Our findings reveal a distinct Janus effect:on-site inter-orbital hybridization enhances correlation strength in the non-half-filled regime while suppresses it at half-filling.This dual role of on-site inter-orbital hybridization provides a fundamental mechanism for tuning the strength of correlations in multi-orbital systems. 展开更多

The damage evolution of polycrystalline Al with helium(He)bubbles under strongly decaying shock waves is studied by molecular dynamics simulations.A new damage region is observed near the loading side of the sample,and the evolution characteristics and underlying mechanisms are elucidated.The development of damage in the new damage region begins after complete unloading of the incident shock wave and is further enhanced when the tensile stress arrives later.The damage evolution is completely controlled by the expansion-merging of He bubbles,without nucleation–growth of voids.This new damage region can be divided into two sections,each of which exhibits a unique dominant mechanism.The damage in the section closer to the loading side is due to the reverse velocity gradient formed after complete unloading of the incident shock wave,depending on the rate of decrease and the amplitude of the initial peak pressure.A high initial peak pressure that can lead to melting of material near the loading side is a necessary condition for the formation of the new damage region,since a significant reverse velocity gradient can only be established if melting occurs.The dominant mechanism in the section distant from the loading side is the action of tensile stress,associated with the profile of the incident shock wave upon reaching the free surface,which determines the material phase near the free surface.Moreover,the presence of He bubbles is another critical factor for formation of the new damage region,which does not occur in pure Al samples. 展开更多

Physically-consistent-WGAN based small sample fault diagnosis for industrial processes

In real industrial scenarios, equipment cannot be operated in a faulty state for a long time, resulting in a very limited number of available fault samples, and the method of data augmentation using generative adversarial networks for smallsample data has achieved a wide range of applications. However, the current generative adversarial networks applied in industrial processes do not impose realistic physical constraints on the generation of data, resulting in the generation of data that do not have realistic physical consistency. To address this problem, this paper proposes a physical consistency-based WGAN, designs a loss function containing physical constraints for industrial processes, and validates the effectiveness of the method using a common dataset in the field of industrial process fault diagnosis. The experimental results show that the proposed method not only makes the generated data consistent with the physical constraints of the industrial process, but also has better fault diagnosis performance than the existing GAN-based methods. 展开更多

Consistent fusion for distributed multi-rate multi-sensor linear systems with unknown correlated measurement noises

This study investigates a consistent fusion algorithm for distributed multi-rate multi-sensor systems operating in feedback-memory configurations, where each sensor's sampling period is uniform and an integer multiple of the state update period. The focus is on scenarios where the correlations among Measurement Noises(MNs) from different sensors are unknown. Firstly, a non-augmented local estimator that applies to sampling cases is designed to provide unbiased Local Estimates(LEs) at the fusion points. Subsequently, a measurement-equivalent approach is then developed to parameterize the correlation structure between LEs and reformulate LEs into a unified form, thereby constraining the correlations arising from MNs to an admissible range. Simultaneously, a family of upper bounds on the joint error covariance matrix of LEs is derived based on the constrained correlations, avoiding the need to calculate the exact error cross-covariance matrix of LEs. Finally, a sequential fusion estimator is proposed in the sense of Weighted Minimum Mean Square Error(WMMSE), and it is proven to be unbiased, consistent, and more accurate than the well-known covariance intersection method. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by highlighting improvements in consistency and accuracy. 展开更多

Solid strong base catalysts have high potentials in a variety of reactions due to the advantages of negligible corrosion,easy separation,and high efficiency.However,two issues hinder the applications of such catalysts seriously,namely aggregation of basic sites and leaching of active species during reactions.The development of solid strong base catalysts with active sites that are highly dispersed and stable remains a pronounced challenge.In this work,we employed a two-step reduction strategy to anchor Na single atoms on nitrogen-doped porous carbon(NPC)support,producing a high-performance solid strongly basic catalyst named as Na1/NPC.The alkali precursor NaNO3was converted to Na_(2)O on NPC at 400℃,in which conventional solid base catalyst Na_(2)O/NPC was generated.Upon heat treatment at 850oC,Na_(2)O was further reduced to Na single atoms anchored on NPC,creating Na1/NPC.Experimental studies and theoretical calculations show that Na is structurally embedded on the support in penta-coordinated configuration(Na-C_(3)N_(2)).The synergistic effect of highly dispersed Na atoms and nitrogen doping results in uncommon catalytic activity and stability.In transesterification between methanol and ethylene carbonate to produce dimethyl carbonate(DMC),the yield of DMC reaches 48.4%over Na1/NPC,corresponding to a turnover frequency(TOF)of 129.4 h^(-1),which is far beyond the conventional counterpart Na_(2)O/NPC(63.3 h^(-1))and various reported solid base catalysts.The catalytic activity of Na1/NPC almost keeps constant during five cycles,while 87%of activity is lost for Na_(2)O/NPC due to the leaching of basic sites.This work might offer new ideas for the development of efficient single-atom solid strong base catalysts with high efficiency. 展开更多

Research has shown that when vehicles follow the Ackerman steering principle(ASP),the tire wear can be reduced and the path tracking performance can be improved.However,in the case of four-wheel independent steering(4WIS)vehicles,the steering systems of the four wheels are relatively independent,and there are differences and uncertainties in individual steering dynamics,which lead to challenges for all four wheels in simultaneously satisfying the ASP and may deteriorate the vehicle path tracking performance.In response to this problem,this paper introduces a four-wheel consistent coordinated steering control for 4WIS vehicles.The algorithm innovatively reconfigures the Ackerman steering relationships as coupling constraints among the wheels,and utilizes the constraint-following method to design controller.The controller achieves uniform boundedness(UB)and uniform ultimate boundedness(UUB)of ASP constraint error.The Carsim/Simulink joint simulation results demonstrate that the algorithm guarantees the approximate satisfaction of ASP in both the transient and steady-state of the vehicle path tracking.Also,it significantly improves the path tracking performance. 展开更多

The 13-node quadrilateral and 39-node hexahedral cubic serendipity elements produce nodally integrated positive-definite lumped heat capacity matrices in higher-order finite element analysis.However,these elements display severe convergence deterioration in explicit transient heat conduction analysis with lumped heat ca-pacity matrices.This convergence decay is due to the violation of variational integration consistency by the standard Galerkin formulation with lumped heat capacity matrices.This issue is resolved by introducing the boundary-enhanced Galerkin weak form that incorporates the elemental boundary contribution in the discrete finite element formulation.Subsequently,it is theoretically proven that a direct nodal integration identically fulfills the variational integration consistency in the context of the boundary-enhanced Galerkin weak form.The proposed variationally consistent nodal integration therefore enables optimal convergence for explicit transient heat conduction analysis with lumped heat capacity matrices.The efficacy of the proposed variationally con-sistent nodal integration formulation for the 13-node quadrilateral and 39-node hexahedral cubic elements is thoroughly demonstrated via numerical examples. 展开更多

Multiphase flows widely exist in various scientific and engineering fields,and strongly compressible multiphase flows commonly occur in practical applications,which makes them an important part of computational fluid dynamics.In this study,an axisymmetric adaptive multiresolution smooth particle hydrodynamics(SPH)model is proposed to solve various strongly compressible multiphase flow problems.In the present model,the governing equations are discretized in cylindrical polar coordinates,and an improved volume adaptive scheme is developed to better solve the problem of excessive volume change in strongly compressible multiphase flows.On this basis,combined with the adaptive particle refinement technique,an adaptive multiresolution scheme is proposed in this study.In addition,the high-order differential operator and diffusion correction term are utilized to improve the accuracy and stability.The effectiveness of the model is verified by testing four typical strongly compressible multiphase flow problems.By comparing the results of adaptive multiresolution SPH with other numerical results or experimental data,we can conclude that the present SPH method effectively models strongly compressible multiphase flows. 展开更多

We investigate the quantum dynamics of the 1D spinless Fermi-Hubbard model with a linear-tilted potential.Surprisingly in a strong resonance regime,we show that the model can be described by the kinetically constrained effective Hamiltonian,and it can be spontaneously divided into two commuting parts dubbed Hamiltonian dimerization,which are composed of two distinct sets of constrained nearest-neighbor hopping terms:one set acting exclusively on odd bonds and the other on even bonds.Specifically it is shown that each part can be independently mapped onto the well-known PXP model;therefore the dimerized Hamiltonian is equivalent to a two-fold PXP model.As a consequence,we numerically demonstrate this system can host the so-called quantum many-body scars,which present dynamical revivals and ergodicity-breaking behaviors.However,in sharp contrast with traditional quantum many-body scars,here the scarring states in our model driven by different parts of the Hamiltonian will revive in different periods,and those of double parts can display a biperiodic revival pattern,both originating from the Hamiltonian dimerization.Besides,the condition of off-resonance is also discussed,and we show the crossover from quantum many-body scar to ergodicity breaking is diagnosed via level statistics.Our model provides a platform for understanding the interplay of Hilbert space fragmentation and the constrained quantum systems. 展开更多

为解决传统分散控制系统(DCS)在复杂工业场景中因控制组态数据异步演化引发的系统失稳风险,构建了覆盖装备全生命周期的动态同步技术体系。针对工业过程控制逻辑偏移的深层原因,系统分析了DCS控制组态数据在转换与同步环节的潜在风险传... 为解决传统分散控制系统(DCS)在复杂工业场景中因控制组态数据异步演化引发的系统失稳风险,构建了覆盖装备全生命周期的动态同步技术体系。针对工业过程控制逻辑偏移的深层原因,系统分析了DCS控制组态数据在转换与同步环节的潜在风险传导机理,提出了基于动态校验与全链路溯源的同步保障机制。通过构建镜像数字孪生映射模型,实现物理控制器与上位机的组态数据双向映射,结合双态协同闭环同步协议栈,形成“源-存-运”三位一体的技术架构。该体系突破传统同步模式的技术局限,在复杂操作条件下仍可确保控制组态数据的强一致性维护。经火电厂DCS工程实践验证,所提技术方案显著增强了控制系统对异常工况的容错能力,有效保障发电机组安全稳定运行,为能源领域关键信息基础设施的自主可控升级提供了重要技术支撑。该研究成果对同类工业控制系统具有重要参考价值,其设计理念可推广至流程工业、智能制造等多领域场景。 展开更多

典型断层形变前兆异常的落实与思考

对中国大陆自1966年邢台7.2级地震以来在各主要地震带建立的跨断层测量场地获得的断层形变资料进行了梳理,对其中出现的单项断层形变异常、群体性准同步断层形变异常的特点及其在地震分析预测中的应用分别给出了实例;利用预测100 km内1... 对中国大陆自1966年邢台7.2级地震以来在各主要地震带建立的跨断层测量场地获得的断层形变资料进行了梳理,对其中出现的单项断层形变异常、群体性准同步断层形变异常的特点及其在地震分析预测中的应用分别给出了实例;利用预测100 km内1年内可能发生7级以上强震的预测指标(即满足K≥5),对所有资料出现的巨大幅度的断层形变异常变化进行了检索,共得到5项异常(同一测量场地出现多个相关异常按1项计算),简称为“巨幅异常”。结果表明:5项巨幅异常中有3项符合7级以上强震的预测指标,分别对应了1976年唐山7.8级地震、1996年丽江7.0级地震和2008年汶川8.0级地震。最后给出了结论建议,供跨断层形变资料分析、跨断层场地维护改造、强震预测及相关对策研究等工作参考。 展开更多

融合先验物理知识和可解性分析的导热系数集成学习预测模型

水热参数本构关系的精确获取是多场耦合研究的核心前提。然而,由于其多尺度的影响因素和高度非线性的响应模式,模型难以准确刻画因素间耦合效应、传热路径和传输机制,建立可靠的参数模型面临着诸多挑战。提出了一种融合先验物理知识与... 水热参数本构关系的精确获取是多场耦合研究的核心前提。然而,由于其多尺度的影响因素和高度非线性的响应模式,模型难以准确刻画因素间耦合效应、传热路径和传输机制,建立可靠的参数模型面临着诸多挑战。提出了一种融合先验物理知识与可解性分析的水热参数集成学习模型(physics-informed ensemble learning,简称PIEL)。以土体导热系数λ为范例,综合评估PIEL模型输出结果的精度、鲁棒性和物理一致性,并结合沙普利加性解释(Shapley additive explanations,简称SHAP)与部分依赖图(partial dependence plots,简称PDPs)可视化PIEL模型决策过程的敏感性、响应模式和耦合效应。结果表明:集成学习模型精确捕捉了导热系数复杂的非线性耦合关系,预测精度较传统模型提升至3~6倍;融合先验传热知识的PIEL模型有效避免了纯数据驱动模型违背物理规律的输出,决策结果的物理一致性显著提升。采用麻雀搜索算法优化的融合知识的极端梯度提升模型(physics-informed extreme gradient boosting,简称PXGBoost),展现出最佳的精度和鲁棒性;SHAP和PDPs可视化的敏感性、响应模式和耦合效应与先验传热知识基本吻合,验证了PIEL决策过程的物理一致性。基于累计SHAP值识别的最优预测因子显著优于传统参数分析,构建的简化模型的计算效率和精度更高。融合先验物理知识和可解性分析的PIEL模型可为岩土参数预测提供一种有效途径,也为人工智能赋能的水热模拟提供支持。 展开更多

传统对比学习算法进行实例判别时容易引入虚假负样本,导致模型收敛于次优解,影响下游任务性能.为此,提出一种基于关系一致性的多分支对比学习算法.该算法在分支网络中挖掘近邻集,提供语义一致的正样本,避免产生假的负样本.结合数据增强... 传统对比学习算法进行实例判别时容易引入虚假负样本,导致模型收敛于次优解,影响下游任务性能.为此,提出一种基于关系一致性的多分支对比学习算法.该算法在分支网络中挖掘近邻集,提供语义一致的正样本,避免产生假的负样本.结合数据增强的多分支网络,最小化KL散度拉近语义一致性的正样本推开负样本,提升网络的特征表达能力.不同分支的温度控制输出分布的平滑性,保证特征表示的真实可靠性.最后在5个数据集上测试所提算法,并与其他先进方法进行对比,均获得令人满意的结果. 展开更多
