The interaction between charge and spin degrees of freedom has always been the central issue of condensed matter physics,and transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)provide an ideal platform to study it benefiting from ...The interaction between charge and spin degrees of freedom has always been the central issue of condensed matter physics,and transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)provide an ideal platform to study it benefiting from their highly tunable properties.In this article,the influence of Fe intercalation in NbSe_(2)was elaborately investigated using a combination of techniques.Magnetic studies have shown that the insertion of Fe atoms induces an antiferromagnetic state in which the easy axis aligns out of the plane.The sign reversal of the magnetoresistance across the Neel temperature can be satisfactorily explained by the moderate interaction between electrons and local spins.The Hall and Seebeck measurements reveal a multi-band nature,and the contribution of various phonon scattering processes is discussed based on the thermal conductivity and specific heat data.展开更多

The microemulsion method for preparing ZnO nanocrystallites was reported.Through measuring ZnO microcrystllite ESR spectra, we found that at room temperature it has a significant ESR signal and its intensity descends ...The microemulsion method for preparing ZnO nanocrystallites was reported.Through measuring ZnO microcrystllite ESR spectra, we found that at room temperature it has a significant ESR signal and its intensity descends with the increase of annealed temperature. This result is in contrast with that of bulk ZnO which is a diamagnetic material and no ESR signal. Finally it was found and verified that on the surfaces of ZnO nanocrystallites there are a lot of oxygen vacancies and defects which trap electrons and form paramagnetic centers to provide the observed ESR signal.展开更多

The ability for trapping an active superoxide anion radicals generated in the HX/XO system and the stability of their spin adduct of DEPPEPO were analyzed. In addition, the effects of 5 phenylethyl and 5 phenyl substituted analogues of DMPO on the stereochemistry of the corresponding spin adducts were systematically illustrated.展开更多
