Once slip zones occur, a series of water-rock interactions may take place, particularly, a change in redox conditions simultaneously with progression of the landslide. This change induces weathering of the debris and bed rocks, and leads to accumulation of newly formed sliding mud within the slip zone. Pyrite formation along with clay mineral accumulation occurs under a weak alkaline-strong reducing environment along with landslide development. 文摘A large number of laboratory investigations related to the permeability have been conducted on the sliding zones.Yet little attention has been paid to the particular sliding zones of the slideprone Badong Formation. Here,we experimentally investigate the permeability nature and the mechanism of seepage in the viscous sliding zone of the Huangtupo Landslide.Saturated seepage tests have been performed first with consideration of six dry densities and thirteen hydraulic gradients,in conjunction with the mercury intrusion porosimetry test and scanning electron microscopy test for the microstructure analysis after seepage. The results show that seepage in the sliding zone soil does not follow Darcy’s Law,since there is a threshold hydraulic gradient(i0)below which no flow is observed and a critical hydraulic gradient(icr)over which the hydraulic conductivity(K)tends to be stable. The percentage of bound water could be responsible for the occurrence of i0 and icr.Furthermore, pore size distributions(PSD)less than 0.6µm and between 10 and 90µm exhibit positive and negative correlations with the i0,respectively,indicating that the i0 is related to the PSD.The mechanism accounting for this result is that pore water pressure forces fine clay particles into the surrounding large pores and converts arranged particles to discretely distributed ones, thereby weakening the connectivity of pores. The seepages in the sliding zones behave differently from that in the sliding mass and sliding bed in response to the permeability.

文摘Landslides are a type of natural disaster that can cause substantial harm to humanity.Monitoring and predicting the initiation of potential landslides is critical to avoiding losses due to disasters and economic activities. The impact of the controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric method on investigating landslide surfaces is assessed through numerical simulations with a finite element approach.A Dirichlet boundary condition is selected to match the truncated boundary, resulting in a remarkable improvement in simulation efficiency.Rederivation of the formulas for a layered medium adept to the controlled-source audiofrequency magnetotelluric method is necessary to determine the electromagnetic field at any location along the truncated boundary. After the reliability evaluation of the new codes,a landslide model with a slide surface is designed, and the characteristics of its electromagnetic field and the apparent resistivity are studied.Instead of the total electromagnetic field, which is strongly infl uenced by topography variation, the apparent resistivity should be used for sliding surface detection. The normalized pure anomalous electromagnetic field may also be employed to quickly assess the detectability of the sliding surface.Overall, this study demonstrates that the controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotelluric method can be employed for investigating landslides, and recommends survey parameters, including configuration, frequency range, and length of survey line in landslide exploration.

文摘Objective:Early predicting response before neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC)is crucial for personalized treatment plans for locally advanced breast cancer patients. We aim to develop a multi-task model using multiscale whole slide images(WSIs)features to predict the response to breast cancer NAC more finely. Methods:This work collected 1,670 whole slide images for training and validation sets, internal testing sets, external testing sets, and prospective testing sets of the weakly-supervised deep learning-based multi-task model(DLMM)in predicting treatment response and pCR to NAC.Our approach models two-by-two feature interactions across scales by employing concatenate fusion of single-scale feature representations, and controls the expressiveness of each representation via a gating-based attention mechanism. Results:In the retrospective analysis,DLMM exhibited excellent predictive performance for the prediction of treatment response, with area under the receiver operating characteristic curves(AUCs)of 0.869[95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.806−0.933]in the internal testing set and 0.841(95%CI:0.814−0.867)in the external testing sets. For the pCR prediction task,DLMM reached AUCs of 0.865(95%CI:0.763−0.964)in the internal testing and 0.821(95%CI:0.763−0.878)in the pooled external testing set.In the prospective testing study,DLMM also demonstrated favorable predictive performance, with AUCs of 0.829(95%CI:0.754−0.903)and 0.821(95%CI:0.692−0.949)in treatment response and pCR prediction, respectively.DLMM significantly outperformed the baseline models in all testing sets(P<0.05).Heatmaps were employed to interpret the decision-making basis of the model.Furthermore,it was discovered that high DLMM scores were associated with immune-related pathways and cells in the microenvironment during biological basis exploration. Conclusions:The DLMM represents a valuable tool that aids clinicians in selecting personalized treatment strategies for breast cancer patients.

文摘This paper presents the design of an asymmetrically variable wingtip anhedral angles morphing aircraft, inspired by biomimetic mechanisms,to enhance lateral maneuver capability.Firstly,we establish a lateral dynamic model considering additional forces and moments resulting during the morphing process, and convert it into a Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO)virtual control system by importing virtual inputs.Secondly,a classical dynamics inversion controller is designed for the outer-loop system.A new Global Fast Terminal Incremental Sliding Mode Controller(NDO-GFTISMC)is proposed for the inner-loop system,in which an adaptive law is implemented to weaken control surface chattering, and a Nonlinear Disturbance Observer(NDO)is integrated to compensate for unknown disturbances. The whole control system is proven semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded based on the multi-Lyapunov function method.Furthermore,we consider tracking errors and self-characteristics of actuators,a quadratic programmingbased dynamic control allocation law is designed, which allocates virtual control inputs to the asymmetrically deformed wingtip and rudder.Actuator dynamic models are incorporated to ensure physical realizability of designed allocation law. Finally, comparative experimental results validate the effectiveness of the designed control system and control allocation law.The NDO-GFTISMC features faster convergence, stronger robustness, and 81.25%and 75.0%reduction in maximum state tracking error under uncertainty compared to the Incremental Nonlinear Dynamic Inversion Controller based on NDO(NDO-INDI)and Incremental Sliding Mode Controller based on NDO(NDO-ISMC),respectively.The design of the morphing aircraft significantly enhances lateral maneuver capability, maintaining a substantial control margin during lateral maneuvering, reducing the burden of the rudder surface, and effectively solving the actuator saturation problem of traditional aircraft during lateral maneuvering.

文摘The operating environment of the diesel engine air path system is complex and may be affected by external random disturbances.Potentially leading to faults. This paper addresses the fault-tolerant control problem of the diesel engine air path system, assuming that the system may simultaneously be affected by actuator faults and external random disturbances,a disturbance observer-based sliding mode controller is designed.Through the linear matrix inequality technique for solving observer and controller gains, optimal gain matrices can be obtained, eliminating the manual adjustment process of controller parameters and reducing the chattering phenomenon of the sliding mode surface. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation analysis.
文摘We present a case report of laparoscopic herniorrhaphy in an infant with ovarian prolapse. Using this case study, we demonstrate the role of the ovarian ligamentous apparatus. A structure appearing like the male gubernaculum was identified. The anatomical and functional role of this “gubernaculum” will be the subject of discussion. Further detailed laparoscopic examinations are indicated to better understand the ligamentous anatomy of ovarian prolapse.
文摘In order to enhance the control performance of piezo-positioning system, the influence of hysteresis characteristics and its compensation method are studied.Hammerstein model is used to represent the dynamic hysteresis nonlinear characteristics of piezo-positioning actuator. The static nonlinear part and dynamic linear part of the Hammerstein model are represented by models obtained through the Prandtl-Ishlinskii(PI)model and Hankel matrix system identification method, respectively. This model demonstrates good generalization capability for typical input frequencies below 200 Hz.A sliding mode inverse compensation tracking control strategy based on P-I inverse model and integral augmentation is proposed.Experimental results show that compared with PID inverse compensation control and sliding mode control without inverse compensation, the sliding mode inverse compensation control has a more ideal step response and no overshoot, moreover, the settling time is only 6.2 ms.In the frequency domain, the system closed-loop tracking bandwidth reaches 119.9 Hz,and the disturbance rejection bandwidth reaches 86.2 Hz.The proposed control strategy can effectively compensate the hysteresis nonlinearity, and improve the tracking accuracy and antidisturbance capability of piezo-positioning system.

文摘Sliding mode control(SMC)is a well-known robust nonlinear control method with strong robustness and fast response which has been widely used in many applications. This paper introduces the major results of SMC design methods that the authors have achieved in the last decade.Undoubtedly, our results are obtained based on many other researchers'pioneer work in the literature which will not be discussed in detail here.Notably, our development has a main focus on tackling practical issues such that a proposed or enhanced SMC approach is effectively applicable to motion control systems.Issues on sliding function and adaptive gain designs in SMC and their control features will be both discussed in this paper. Those issues comprise fast convergent speed, predefined convergent time, input saturation restriction, chattering reduction, and unknown disturbance suppression.Lastly, conclusion and a few remarks on future research directions are presented.

文摘We demonstrate that the sliding motion between two layers of the newly discovered ferroelectric and topologically trivial bismuth(Bi)monolayer[Nature 61767(2023)]can induce a sequence of topological phase transitions, alternating between Z_(2)trivial and nontrivial states. The lateral shift, while preserving spatial symmetry, can switch the quantum spin Hall state on and of.The sliding-induced changes in out-of-plane atomic buckling, which are directly coupled to in-plane ferroelectricity, are shown to signifcantly modulate the band gap and drive the topological phase transitions. We map out the topological phase diagram and in-plane ferroelectricity with respect to sliding displacements. With appropriate sliding, the bismuth bilayer can transition into a nontrivial polar metal, exhibiting a pronounced shift current response arising from interband geometric quantities of electronic bands. Moreover, bilayer Bi supports a sliding-tunable nonlinear anomalous Hall response resulting from the geometric Berry curvature dipole.Confgurations that are Z_(2)nontrivial can generate drastically different transverse currents orthogonal to the external electric feld,as both the direction and magnitude of the Berry curvature dipole at the Fermi level are highly sensitive to the sliding displacement. Our results suggest that bilayer bismuth, with its ability to generate multiple types of geometric currents, ofers a versatile platform for power-efcient“Berry slidetronics”for multistate memory applications integrating both band topology and ferroelectricity.

文摘With the rapid advancement of Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP)technology, speech steganography techniques such as Quantization Index Modulation(QIM)and Pitch Modulation Steganography(PMS)have emerged as significant challenges to information security. These techniques embed hidden information into speech streams, making detection increasingly difficult, particularly under conditions of low embedding rates and short speech durations.Existing steganalysis methods often struggle to balance detection accuracy and computational efficiency due to their limited ability to effectively capture both temporal and spatial features of speech signals. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an Efficient Sliding Window Analysis Network(E-SWAN),a novel deep learning model specifically designed for real-time speech steganalysis.E-SWAN integrates two core modules:the LSTM Temporal Feature Miner(LTFM)and the Convolutional Key Feature Miner(CKFM).LTFM captures long-range temporal dependencies using Long Short-Term Memory networks, while CKFM identifies local spatial variations caused by steganographic embedding through convolutional operations. These modules operate within a sliding window framework, enabling efficient extraction of temporal and spatial features.Experimental results on the Chinese CNV and PMS datasets demonstrate the superior performance of E-SWAN.Under conditions of a ten-second sample duration and an embedding rate of 10%,E-SWAN achieves a detection accuracy of 62.09%on the PMS dataset, surpassing existing methods by 4.57%,and an accuracy of 82.28%on the CNV dataset, outperforming state-of-the-art methods by 7.29%.These findings validate the robustness and efficiency of E-SWAN under low embedding rates and short durations, offering a promising solution for real-time VoIP steganalysis. This work provides significant contributions to enhancing information security in digital communications.
