This paper proposes a family of raptor-like rate-compatible spatially coupled low-density parity-check(RL-RC-SC-LDPC)codes from RL-RC-LDPC block codes.There are two important keys.One is the performance of the base ma...This paper proposes a family of raptor-like rate-compatible spatially coupled low-density parity-check(RL-RC-SC-LDPC)codes from RL-RC-LDPC block codes.There are two important keys.One is the performance of the base matrix.RL-LDPC codes have been adopted in the technical specification of 5G new radio(5G-NR).We use the 5G NR LDPC code as the base matrix.The other is the edge coupling design.In this regard,we have designed a rate-compatible coupling algorithm,which can improve performance under multiple code rates.The constructed RL-RC-SC-LDPC code property requires a large coupling length L and thus we improved the reciprocal channel approximation(RCA)algorithm and proposed a sliding window RCA algorithm.It can provide lower com-plexity and latency than RCA algorithm.The code family shows improved thresholds close to the Shannon limit and finite-length performance compared with 5G NR LDPC codes for the additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)channel.展开更多

Then it is applied to the speech endpoint detection. Furthermore, endpoint detection is carried out with the feature of energy. Experimental results show that both the computational efficiency and the robustness against noise of the proposed algorithm are improved remarkably compared with traditional algorithm. Human motion prediction is a critical issue in human-robot collaboration(HRC)tasks.In order to reduce the local error caused by the limitation of the capture range and sampling frequency of the depth sensor,a hybrid h...Human motion prediction is a critical issue in human-robot collaboration(HRC)tasks.In order to reduce the local error caused by the limitation of the capture range and sampling frequency of the depth sensor,a hybrid human motion prediction algorithm,optimized sliding window polynomial fitting and recursive least squares(OSWPF-RLS)was proposed.The OSWPF-RLS algorithm uses the human body joint data obtained under the HRC task as input,and uses recursive least squares(RLS)to predict the human movement trajectories within the time window.Then,the optimized sliding window polynomial fitting(OSWPF)is used to calculate the multi-step prediction value,and the increment of multi-step prediction value was appropriately constrained.Experimental results show that compared with the existing benchmark algorithms,the OSWPF-RLS algorithm improved the multi-step prediction accuracy of human motion and enhanced the ability to respond to different human movements.展开更多
To improve the stability of a wind-diesel hybrid microgrid,a frequency control strategy is designed by using the hybrid energy storage system and the adjustable diesel generator with load frequency control(LFC).The ob...To improve the stability of a wind-diesel hybrid microgrid,a frequency control strategy is designed by using the hybrid energy storage system and the adjustable diesel generator with load frequency control(LFC).The objective of frequency control is to quickly respond to the disturbed system to reduce system frequency deviation and restore stability.By evaluating the area control error,the disturbance state of the system can be divided into four different areas by a corresponding control strategy for precise adjustments.For the diesel generator,an adaptive sliding mode(SM)algorithm is used to design LFC that can participate in frequency modulation.The frequency coordination con-trol strategy proposed in this paper can realize the partition adjustment according to different resources,and ensure frequency stability.The proposed control strategy is verified by RTDS simulations in multiple scenarios.展开更多
