This paper examines the travel behaviors of hand-foot-and-mouth disease(HFMD)patients in Nanchang City in central China.Based on the HFMD patients’hospital visitation data from the Center of Disease Control(CDC)of Na...This paper examines the travel behaviors of hand-foot-and-mouth disease(HFMD)patients in Nanchang City in central China.Based on the HFMD patients’hospital visitation data from the Center of Disease Control(CDC)of Nanchang in 2018,a spatial network of patient-to-hospital trip flows is constructed.A Geographic Information Systems(GIS)automated network community detec-tion method,termed‘ScLeiden’,is utilized to delineate the study area into six hospital service areas(HSAs)to represent distinctive health care markets.Patients’travel patterns across these HSAs are compared to highlight the geographic disparity.In two HSAs anchored by major hospitals in the regions,the volume of patients increased up to a travel range and then declined,and thus formed a single peak in the trip volume distribution curve across travel time.Each of the remaining four HSAs exhibited two or more peaks in their trip volume distribution curves.The patterns reflected the split choices of patients for the largest Children Hospital in the region,the second-tier county hospital,or others,which were likely to be stratified by their economic affordability,transportation means,and possible health literacy.The study provides valuable insights into the delineation of HSAs and the unique patients’travel behaviors in China.展开更多
The aging behavior of softening composite solid propellant was investigated by measuring its mechanical and ballistic prosperities during prolonged storage at elevated and room temperatures. Accelerated aging was cond...The aging behavior of softening composite solid propellant was investigated by measuring its mechanical and ballistic prosperities during prolonged storage at elevated and room temperatures. Accelerated aging was conducted at 65 °C for 231 days while the normal aging was performed at 25 ± 3 °C and relative humidity less than 50% for 8 years. The mechanical properties were obtained from uniaxial tensile tests for the aged propellant specimens while the ballistic properties were determined from static firing tests of subscale motors aged for 112 days at 65 °C. The mechanical results show that the maximum tensile strength and Young's modulus initially increase and subsequently decrease with increasing aging time, while the maximum tensile strain generally increases with increasing aging time. The ballistic properties like burning rate show a small change which cannot affect the ballistic performance. The experimental results show that the changes in the mechanical properties are significant during the aging period, but the burning rate does not undergo significant changes. From this study, it is observed that the propellant ages through a combination of reactions like post-cure, oxidative cross-linking, chain scission, and hydrolysis. The chain scission and the hydrolysis effect are the most significant process, which makes the propellant soft and extendible. The observed aging mechanism has been modeled using an exponential function with two terms which can describe the complex behavior of the aging. By applying Arrhenius equation,the activation energy values were obtained based on the propellant mechanical properties. The shelf life of this propellant formulation at 25 °C is predicted to be 13 years using the modulus as failure criteria and control parameter.展开更多

Background: The characteristics of geriatric health services facilities (GHSFs) in Japan include provision of care focused on the life of the residents, and there is a need for cooperation between care workers and phy...Background: The characteristics of geriatric health services facilities (GHSFs) in Japan include provision of care focused on the life of the residents, and there is a need for cooperation between care workers and physical therapists responsible for the care. Our goal is to create an organizational system that allows nurses to succeed professionally. To do this, we must first discuss the professional behavior of nurses in GHSFs. Objectives: The aim of the present study was to clarify the professional behavior of nurses in GHSFs using a questionnaire survey. Method: We used a descriptive, cross-sectional design. The study was conducted in 1000 GHSFs all over Japan. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The questionnaires consisted of 24 items for determining the professional behavior of nurses, the background information of respondents. The professional behavior of nurses was analyzed using principal factor analysis (Promax rotation). Results: A total of 1189 nurses participated. Of those, 91% (n = 1084) were women, and mean age was 48.2 years. Most participants were staff nurses (n = 791;66%). We extracted 16 items by factor analysis, which were classified into four factors (professional development, autonomy, positive assertiveness to colleagues, and advocating for patient). Conclusion: The professional behaviors as identified in this study are similar to those reported in previous studies of clinical nurses in hospital. However, some subscale results are specific to the characteristics of GHSFs. The ability to understand professional behaviors has significant implications in terms of affirming and identifying sources of quality of care and creating a professional practice environment within GHSFs.展开更多

A total of 1020 valid questionnaires were collected from tourists in Lukang Town, Taiwan, by means of convenient sampling. After descriptive statistics and PLS statistical analysis, the results show that: 1) Tourists’ image of Lukang town has a positive effect on their perceived service quality. In addition, it also has a positive effect on future travel behavior intention;2) The service quality of tourists in Lukang has a positive effect on their future travel behavior intention. 3) This study also finds that service quality has a mediating effect on tourism behavior intention. Finally, based on the results of the study, suggestions for future research and tourism planning are put forward.展开更多

Meanwhile,the structural equation model( SEM) is suited for testing structural dimensions of service employees' innovation behavior. The results showed that service employees' innovation behavior could be decomposed into a four-dimensional structure,namely innovation orientation, ideas generation, innovation implementation and innovation practice. In order to analyze and verify behavior-consistent service substitutions in dynamic environments, we first present a formal language to describe services from control-flow perspective, then introduce a type and effect system to infer conservative approximations of all possible behaviors of these services. The service behaviors are represented by concurrent behavior expressions (CBEs). Built upon the interpretation of CBEs, behavior-consistent service substitutions are defined and analyzed by subtyping technology. The correctness of the analysis approach is guaranteed by type safety theorem, which is mechanically proved in the Coq proof assistant. Finally, applications in web services show that our method is effective and feasible.展开更多

Numerous studies are emphasizing the importance of managerial behavior amongst executives in the management.Research,particularly on managerial behavior of women in executive management,is relatively underexplored.The...Numerous studies are emphasizing the importance of managerial behavior amongst executives in the management.Research,particularly on managerial behavior of women in executive management,is relatively underexplored.These managerial behaviors are classified into three functional domains:a task,relationship,and strategy-oriented in organizations.Little attention is paid to these managerial behaviors and skills observed amongst executive women in India’s women’s banking and finance sectors.The present study addresses this under-examined inquiry area concerning three managerial behaviors among India’s women executives.Twenty-five executive women in the banking and finance service sectors were interviewed.Moreover,fifty team members reporting to these executive women were surveyed.Findings indicate that executive women were adopting task and relationship-oriented behaviors.The third domain of strategy-oriented managerial behavior is least reported amongst executive women in the service sector organizations.These strategic change behaviors are exhibited at a minimal.In conclusion,the theoretical and practice implications of effective managerial practices in the service organization are discussed.展开更多

Built upon the interpretation of CBEs, behavior-consistent service substitutions are defined and analyzed by subtyping technology. The correctness of the analysis approach is guaranteed by type safety theorem, which is mechanically proved in the Coq proof assistant. Finally, applications in web services show that our method is effective and feasible.
文摘This research was conducted to test and analyze the influence of service quality on behavioral loyalty through customer satisfaction and attitudinal loyalty to 4-Star Hotel in East Java.This research is a survey research.The sampling technique used is non probability sampling.Sample sizes are 200 respondents.The analysis tool used is Structural Equation Model(SEM)Analysis.The result of the research shows that hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted.Academic suggestion submitted is for research that will come dating need to be explored influence of other variables that influence behavioral loyalty.While practical suggestions submitted to business actors is for business actors to pay attention and keep the variables that effect behavioral loyalty.Especially studied in this study they are:service quality,customer satisfaction,and attitudinal loyalty.
文摘Numerous studies are emphasizing the importance of managerial behavior amongst executives in the management.Research,particularly on managerial behavior of women in executive management,is relatively underexplored.These managerial behaviors are classified into three functional domains:a task,relationship,and strategy-oriented in organizations.Little attention is paid to these managerial behaviors and skills observed amongst executive women in India’s women’s banking and finance sectors.The present study addresses this under-examined inquiry area concerning three managerial behaviors among India’s women executives.Twenty-five executive women in the banking and finance service sectors were interviewed.Moreover,fifty team members reporting to these executive women were surveyed.Findings indicate that executive women were adopting task and relationship-oriented behaviors.The third domain of strategy-oriented managerial behavior is least reported amongst executive women in the service sector organizations.These strategic change behaviors are exhibited at a minimal.In conclusion,the theoretical and practice implications of effective managerial practices in the service organization are discussed.
文摘At present, from the aspect of promoting consumers' pro-social consumption behaviors, the public service ads has a clearly insufficient persuasive problem. In order to make a theoretical explanation and provide suggestions for this phenomenon, this article compares the effect of different orientations of public service ads' appeals on the tendency of individual' s pro-social consumption behaviors experiment. The experimental results prove that comparatively speaking, altruism orientation of public service ads' appeals can make the individual to produce higher levels of pro-social consumption behaviors. Based on the above research results, the author respectively puts forward some advices about public service ads for the management of profit and non-profit organizations.
