Although there are great deals of means to describe the group characters theoretically and practically, in this paper, we consider that the integrity character of a group is composed of the group scale, the constitution and the structure. So the research on how group characters affect the group performance should focus on the three aspects. In order to grasp the present research situation and clear the prospective direction of the studies, we will summarize the study on how the group characters affect the group performance from these three aspects.展开更多
Aiming at scheduling problems of networked control system (NCS) used to fulfill motion synthesis and cooperation control of the distributed multi-mechatronic systems, the differences of network scheduling and task s...Aiming at scheduling problems of networked control system (NCS) used to fulfill motion synthesis and cooperation control of the distributed multi-mechatronic systems, the differences of network scheduling and task scheduling are compared, and the mathematic description of task scheduling is presented. A performance index function of task scheduling of NCS according to task balance and traffic load matching principles is defined. According to this index, a static scheduling method is designed and implemented to controlling task set simulation of the DCY100 transportation vehicle. The simulation results are applied successfully to practical engineering in this case so as to validate the effectiveness of the proposed performance index and scheduling algorithm.展开更多
We investigate in this paper the influence of slow light on the balance between the Kerr and two-photon absorption(TPA) processes in silicon slotted hybrid nonlinear waveguides. Three typical silicon photonic waveguid...We investigate in this paper the influence of slow light on the balance between the Kerr and two-photon absorption(TPA) processes in silicon slotted hybrid nonlinear waveguides. Three typical silicon photonic waveguide geometries are studied to estimate the influence of the light slow-down factor on the mode field overlap with the silicon region, as well as on the complex effective nonlinear susceptibility. It is found that slotted photonic crystal modes tend to focalize in their hollow core with increasing group index(n_G) values. Considering a hybrid integration of nonlinear polymers in such slotted waveguides, a relative decrease of the TPA process by more factor of 2 is predicted from n_G=10 to n_G=50. As a whole, this work shows that the relative influence of TPA decreases for slotted waveguides operating in the slow light regime, making them a suitable platform for third-order nonlinear optics.展开更多
Objective:The objective of this study was to document the impact of the preoperative Karnofsky Performance Scale(KPS)and American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)scores on perioperative complications in patients with...Objective:The objective of this study was to document the impact of the preoperative Karnofsky Performance Scale(KPS)and American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)scores on perioperative complications in patients with recurrent glioma who underwent tumor resection via craniotomy.Methods:A total of 96 patients were retrospectively reviewed.Based on KPS and ASA scores,patients were categorized into high KPS(>70)or low KPS(≤70)and high ASA(3~4)or low ASA(1~2)groups.Differences in intraoperative risk factors and perioperative complications among the groups were analyzed.Multivariate analysis was performed to identify risk factors for perioperative complications.Results:The most frequent perioperative complications were cerebrospinal fluid leakage(31.8%)and intracranial infection(27.0%);30-day mortality was 5.2%.The incidence rates of severe complications,central nervous system complications,and total complications were comparable in the low and high KPS groups and in the low and high ASA groups(all p>0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that low KPS and high ASA scores were not the independent risk factors for perioperative complications.Conclusion:Low KPS and high ASA scores are not associated with increased postoperative complications in patients with recurrent glioma who undergo tumor resection via craniotomy.展开更多
Objective To preliminarily assess the biocompatibility and durability of the TruDelta TM transcatheter mitral valve replacement(TMVR)system.Methods Six adult sheep were divided into 3 groups based on the duration of f...Objective To preliminarily assess the biocompatibility and durability of the TruDelta TM transcatheter mitral valve replacement(TMVR)system.Methods Six adult sheep were divided into 3 groups based on the duration of follow-up:30 days(n=1),90 days(n=3)and 180 days(n=2).The TruDelta^(TM)TMVR system was implanteddthrougah transapical approach under transesophageal echocardiographic guidance.The operability of the TMVR system was evaluated using an instrument performance evaluation scale(consisting of 39 items),with scores ranging from 1(worst)to 10(best)assigned by the operator.Echocardiography was conducted preoperatively,immediately after surgery,and at 30,90,and 180 days post-implantation.At the last followup time point,the intervention mitral valve membrane and major organs were dissected for observation.The artificial valves were taken for hematoxylin eosin(HE)staining and observed under a scanning electron microscope.Results All six procedures were successfully completed using 29S size TruDelta^(TM)TMVR device.At the final follow-up,echocardiogram demonstrated good valve function without obvious paravalvular leakage,with a transvalvular gradient of(7.8±3.2)mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa)and a mitral valve orifice area of(1.8±0.2)cm^(2).Autopsy findings revealed no structural valve failure and almost complete endothelialization(>75%)with 90 to 180 days.Both HE staining and scanning electron microscopy confirmed optimal endothelialization of the valve stent.Conclusion The preclinical animal study indicates that the TruDeltarm device exhibits favorable biocompatibility and durability.展开更多
