Over the course of the epochal 30 years, i.e., from the founding of People's Republic of China in 1949 till the launching of Chinese economic reform in 1978, the Communist Party of China (CPC) underwent a tremendou...Over the course of the epochal 30 years, i.e., from the founding of People's Republic of China in 1949 till the launching of Chinese economic reform in 1978, the Communist Party of China (CPC) underwent a tremendous transformation from the founding to the ruling party of the country. The present research examines the historical, social as well as political aspects of the identity crisis and the CPC was suffering from in its adventurous efforts to chart a course for the socialist transformation of China. It was tempted to resume its leadership role in the revolution given the mounting tension generated by the Cold War and the prevailing revolutionary beliefs within the Party. Nevertheless, it was obliged to restore the country's social and political order after the sweeping national reform. In search of an adequate interpretation for the various attempts the Party made in exploring its refreshed identity, hence resolving the crisis, the study focuses on a similar crisis which befell the Party leader, Mao Zedong, in his own struggle against the con- fusion caused by his potentially double role as the head of both a founding and a ruling party. The study suggests that Mao's misidentification of his own political role inevitably led to the Party's dysfunctions, and closer investigation into the leader's personal dilemma offers new insight into such tragic events as the Anti- Rightist Movement, the Great Leap Forward, and the Cultural Revolution.展开更多

A novel fractional elastoplastic constitutive model is proposed to accurately characterize the deformation of sandstone under true-triaxial stress states.This model is founded on the yield function and the fractional ...A novel fractional elastoplastic constitutive model is proposed to accurately characterize the deformation of sandstone under true-triaxial stress states.This model is founded on the yield function and the fractional flow rule.The yield function includes parameters that govern the evolution of yield surface,enabling an accurate description of three-dimensional stress states.The direction of plastic flow is governed by the two different fractional orders,which are functions of the plastic internal variable.Additionally,a detailed process is proposed for identifying the yield function parameters and fractional orders.Subsequently,the relationship between the fractional order and the direction of plastic flow in the meridian and deviatoric planes is examined,characterized by the dilation angle and the plastic deflection angle,respectively.The non-orthogonal flow rule,also referred to as the fractional flow rule,allows for a border range of plastic deflection and dilation angles compared to the orthogonal flow rule,thereby significantly enhancing its applicability.The validity and accuracy of proposed model are verified by comparing the analytical solution of the constitutive model with the experimental data.A comparison between the non-orthogonal flow rule and orthogonal flow rule is conducted in both the deviatoric and meridian planes.The further comparison of the stress-strain curves for the non-orthogonal and orthogonal flow rules demonstrates the superiority of the fractional constitutive model.展开更多
Severe ground-level ozone(O_(3))pollution over major Chinese cities has become one of the most challenging problems,which have deleterious effects on human health and the sustainability of society.This study explored ...Severe ground-level ozone(O_(3))pollution over major Chinese cities has become one of the most challenging problems,which have deleterious effects on human health and the sustainability of society.This study explored the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of ground-level O_(3) and its precursors based on conventional pollutant and meteorological monitoring data in Zhejiang Province from 2016 to 2021.Then,a high-performance convolutional neural network(CNN)model was established by expanding the moment and the concentration variations to general factors.Finally,the response mechanism of O_(3) to the variation with crucial influencing factors is explored by controlling variables and interpolating target variables.The results indicated that the annual average MDA8-90th concentrations in Zhejiang Province are higher in the northern and lower in the southern.When the wind direction(WD)ranges from east to southwest and the wind speed(WS)ranges between 2 and 3 m/sec,higher O_(3) concentration prone to occur.At different temperatures(T),the O_(3) concentration showed a trend of first increasing and subsequently decreasing with increasing NO_(2) concentration,peaks at the NO_(2) concentration around 0.02mg/m^(3).The sensitivity of NO_(2) to O_(3) formation is not easily affected by temperature,barometric pressure and dew point temperature.Additionally,there is a minimum IRNO_(2) at each temperature when the NO_(2) concentration is 0.03 mg/m^(3),and this minimum IRNO_(2) decreases with increasing temperature.The study explores the response mechanism of O_(3) with the change of driving variables,which can provide a scientific foundation and methodological support for the targeted management of O_(3) pollution.展开更多

Alth...Understanding the ecogeographic mechanisms driving morphological variation is pivotal in biogeographic studies. However, patterns and determinants of such variation remain contentious, particularly in amphibians. Although several hypotheses have been formulated and investigated in amphibians, their validity remains disputed with mixed support. Using the Sichuan spiny frog(Nanorana sichuanensis) as an indicator, we investigated the morphological variations across geographic and environmental gradients to explore the underlying ecogeographic mechanisms. We found that both the body size and limb characteristics of N.sichuanensis were not significantly related to latitude or elevation, suggesting that it did not follow Bergmann's or Allen's rules. Eye diameter decreased linearly with increasing elevation and latitude, whereas snout length increased with increasing elevation and latitude. Heat balance, endurance, seasonality, water availability, and primary productivity collectively explain body size variation. Hierarchical partitioning identified primary productivity and thermal excursion as the most influential factors, explaining significant variability in body size and other morphological features. Specifically, primary productivity accounted for 52.40% of the variation in body size, whereas thermal excursion had the greatest impact on eye diameter(36.23%) and snout length(72.17%). Based on body size and dimensionally reduced morphological features, our results identified ecogeographic patterns, assessed the validity of different hypotheses, and examined how environmental factors influence these morphological variations. More generally, our study offers comprehensive insights into the ecogeographic variation observed in mountain amphibians,provides a critical evaluation of existing ecogeographic hypotheses, and infers possible morphological adaptations in response to environmental change.展开更多

Traditional rule-based IntrusionDetection Systems(IDS)are commonly employed owing to their simple design and ability to detect known threats.Nevertheless,as dynamic network traffic and a new degree of threats exist in...Traditional rule-based IntrusionDetection Systems(IDS)are commonly employed owing to their simple design and ability to detect known threats.Nevertheless,as dynamic network traffic and a new degree of threats exist in IoT environments,these systems do not perform well and have elevated false positive rates—consequently decreasing detection accuracy.In this study,we try to overcome these restrictions by employing fuzzy logic and machine learning to develop an Enhanced Rule-Based Model(ERBM)to classify the packets better and identify intrusions.The ERBM developed for this approach improves data preprocessing and feature selections by utilizing fuzzy logic,where three membership functions are created to classify all the network traffic features as low,medium,or high to remain situationally aware of the environment.Such fuzzy logic sets produce adaptive detection rules by reducing data uncertainty.Also,for further classification,machine learning classifiers such as Decision Tree(DT),Random Forest(RF),and Neural Networks(NN)learn complex ways of attacks and make the detection process more precise.A thorough performance evaluation using different metrics,including accuracy,precision,recall,F1 Score,detection rate,and false-positive rate,verifies the supremacy of ERBM over classical IDS.Under extensive experiments,the ERBM enables a remarkable detection rate of 99%with considerably fewer false positives than the conventional models.Integrating the ability for uncertain reasoning with fuzzy logic and an adaptable component via machine learning solutions,the ERBM systemprovides a unique,scalable,data-driven approach to IoT intrusion detection.This research presents a major enhancement initiative in the context of rule-based IDS,introducing improvements in accuracy to evolving IoT threats.展开更多
Quantitative analysis of colouration is an essential tool for subspecies delimitation but has always posed a challenge in avian taxonomy.In this study on the Chestnut-winged Babbler(Cyanoderma erythropterum)species co...Quantitative analysis of colouration is an essential tool for subspecies delimitation but has always posed a challenge in avian taxonomy.In this study on the Chestnut-winged Babbler(Cyanoderma erythropterum)species complex from tropical Southeast Asia,we made use of colour measurements taken with digital cameras and applied two methodologies—(1)the 75%subspecies rule on quantitative colourimetric variables,and(2)the CIEDE2000 colour distance method to generate phylograms,which has probably never been applied in taxonomy before.Given its large number of described subspecies,many of which have been synonymised in modern taxonomies,the species complex serves as an appropriate model to test subspecies validity.Our data indicate that one synonymised subspecies(C.e.apega),from the islands of Bangka and Belitung,requires re-instalment and recognition,whereas one widely recognised subspecies(C.e.fulviventre),from the Banyak Islands,should be synonymised.Our approach also allowed us to redraw geographic subspecies boundaries.Our work indicates that current subspecies taxonomies of many poorly known tropical species may remain error-ridden and highlights the importance and viability of large-scale taxonomic revisions targeting avian subspecies globally while incorporating quantitative colourimetric approaches.展开更多

BACKGROUND There is a lack of study on vitamin D and calcium levels in epileptic patients receiving therapy,despite the growing recognition of the importance of bone health in individuals with epilepsy.Associations on...BACKGROUND There is a lack of study on vitamin D and calcium levels in epileptic patients receiving therapy,despite the growing recognition of the importance of bone health in individuals with epilepsy.Associations one statistical method for finding correlations between variables in big datasets is called association rule mining(ARM).This technique finds patterns of common items or events in the data set,including associations.Through the analysis of patient data,including demographics,genetic information,and reactions with previous treatments,ARM can identify harmful drug reactions,possible novel combinations of medicines,and trends which connect particular individual features to treatment outcomes.AIM To investigate the evidence on the effects of anti-epileptic drugs(AEDs)on calcium metabolism and supplementing with vitamin D to help lower the likelihood of bone-related issues using ARM technique.METHODS ARM technique was used to analyze patients’behavior on calcium metabolism,vitamin D and anti-epileptic medicines.Epileptic sufferers of both sexes who attended neurological outpatient and in patient department clinics were recruited for the study.There were three patient groups:Group 1 received one AED,group 2 received two AEDs,and group 3 received more than two AEDs.The researchers analyzed the alkaline phosphatase,ionized calcium,total calcium,phosphorus,vitamin D levels,or parathyroid hormone values.RESULTS A total of 150 patients,aged 12 years to 60 years,were studied,with 50 in each group(1,2,and 3).60%were men,this gender imbalance may affect the study’s findings,as women have different bone metabolism dynamics influenced by hormonal variations,including menopause.The results may not fully capture the distinct effects of AEDs on female patients.A greater equal distribution of women should be the goal of future studies in order to offer a complete comprehension of the metabolic alterations brought on by AEDs.86 patients had generalized epilepsy,64 partial.42%of patients had AEDs for>5 years.Polytherapy reduced calcium and vitamin D levels compared to mono and dual therapy.Polytherapy elevated alkaline phosphatase and phosphorus levels.CONCLUSION ARM revealed the possible effects of variables like age,gender,and polytherapy on parathyroid hormone levels in individuals taking antiepileptic medication.展开更多
Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries with high energy density suffer from the soluble lithium polysulfide species,Traditional metal sulfides containing a single metal element used as electrocatalysts for Li-S batteries commo...Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries with high energy density suffer from the soluble lithium polysulfide species,Traditional metal sulfides containing a single metal element used as electrocatalysts for Li-S batteries commonly have limited catalytic abilities to improve battery performance.Herein,based on the Hume-Rothery rule and solvothermal method,the high-entropy sulfide NiCoCuTiVS_(x)derived from Co_(9)S_(8)was designed and synthesized,to realize the combination of small local strain and excellent catalytic performance.With all five metal elements(Ni,Co,Cu,Ti,and V)capable of chemical interactions with soluble polysulfides,NiCoCuTiVS_(x)exhibited strong chemical confinement of polysulfides and promoted fast kinetics for polysulfides conversion.Consequently,the S/NiCoCuTiVS_(x)cathode can maintain a high discharge capacity of 968.9 mA h g^(-1)after 200 cycles at 0.5 C and its capacity retention is 1.3 times higher than that of S/Co_(9)S_(8).The improved cycle stability can be attributed to the synergistic effect originating from the multiple metal elements,coupled with the reduced nucleation and activation barriers of Li_(2)S.The present work opens a path to explore novel electrocatalyst materials based on high entropy materials for the achievement of advanced Li-S batteries.展开更多

文摘A novel fractional elastoplastic constitutive model is proposed to accurately characterize the deformation of sandstone under true-triaxial stress states.This model is founded on the yield function and the fractional flow rule.The yield function includes parameters that govern the evolution of yield surface,enabling an accurate description of three-dimensional stress states.The direction of plastic flow is governed by the two different fractional orders,which are functions of the plastic internal variable.Additionally,a detailed process is proposed for identifying the yield function parameters and fractional orders.Subsequently,the relationship between the fractional order and the direction of plastic flow in the meridian and deviatoric planes is examined,characterized by the dilation angle and the plastic deflection angle,respectively.The non-orthogonal flow rule,also referred to as the fractional flow rule,allows for a border range of plastic deflection and dilation angles compared to the orthogonal flow rule,thereby significantly enhancing its applicability.The validity and accuracy of proposed model are verified by comparing the analytical solution of the constitutive model with the experimental data.A comparison between the non-orthogonal flow rule and orthogonal flow rule is conducted in both the deviatoric and meridian planes.The further comparison of the stress-strain curves for the non-orthogonal and orthogonal flow rules demonstrates the superiority of the fractional constitutive model.

文摘Severe ground-level ozone(O_(3))pollution over major Chinese cities has become one of the most challenging problems,which have deleterious effects on human health and the sustainability of society.This study explored the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of ground-level O_(3) and its precursors based on conventional pollutant and meteorological monitoring data in Zhejiang Province from 2016 to 2021.Then,a high-performance convolutional neural network(CNN)model was established by expanding the moment and the concentration variations to general factors.Finally,the response mechanism of O_(3) to the variation with crucial influencing factors is explored by controlling variables and interpolating target variables.The results indicated that the annual average MDA8-90th concentrations in Zhejiang Province are higher in the northern and lower in the southern.When the wind direction(WD)ranges from east to southwest and the wind speed(WS)ranges between 2 and 3 m/sec,higher O_(3) concentration prone to occur.At different temperatures(T),the O_(3) concentration showed a trend of first increasing and subsequently decreasing with increasing NO_(2) concentration,peaks at the NO_(2) concentration around 0.02mg/m^(3).The sensitivity of NO_(2) to O_(3) formation is not easily affected by temperature,barometric pressure and dew point temperature.Additionally,there is a minimum IRNO_(2) at each temperature when the NO_(2) concentration is 0.03 mg/m^(3),and this minimum IRNO_(2) decreases with increasing temperature.The study explores the response mechanism of O_(3) with the change of driving variables,which can provide a scientific foundation and methodological support for the targeted management of O_(3) pollution.

文摘Understanding the ecogeographic mechanisms driving morphological variation is pivotal in biogeographic studies. However, patterns and determinants of such variation remain contentious, particularly in amphibians. Although several hypotheses have been formulated and investigated in amphibians, their validity remains disputed with mixed support. Using the Sichuan spiny frog(Nanorana sichuanensis) as an indicator, we investigated the morphological variations across geographic and environmental gradients to explore the underlying ecogeographic mechanisms. We found that both the body size and limb characteristics of N.sichuanensis were not significantly related to latitude or elevation, suggesting that it did not follow Bergmann's or Allen's rules. Eye diameter decreased linearly with increasing elevation and latitude, whereas snout length increased with increasing elevation and latitude. Heat balance, endurance, seasonality, water availability, and primary productivity collectively explain body size variation. Hierarchical partitioning identified primary productivity and thermal excursion as the most influential factors, explaining significant variability in body size and other morphological features. Specifically, primary productivity accounted for 52.40% of the variation in body size, whereas thermal excursion had the greatest impact on eye diameter(36.23%) and snout length(72.17%). Based on body size and dimensionally reduced morphological features, our results identified ecogeographic patterns, assessed the validity of different hypotheses, and examined how environmental factors influence these morphological variations. More generally, our study offers comprehensive insights into the ecogeographic variation observed in mountain amphibians,provides a critical evaluation of existing ecogeographic hypotheses, and infers possible morphological adaptations in response to environmental change.

文摘The“notice-necessary measures”rule began with the“notice-and-takedown”rule,which originated from the United States safe harbors rule,established to limit the liability of Internet Service Providers(ISPs)for helping infringement in network infringement.China’s Tort Liability Law and Civil Code amended the“notice-and-takedown”rule so that when the right holder sends an effective notice of infringement to the ISP,the ISP shall take necessary measures more than removal to be exempted from liability.This article will discuss the transformation of the rule and types of necessary measures,and reconstruct the relationship between effectiveness of notice and types of necessary measures.

文摘Currently,generative AI technologies and services worldwide are experiencing explosive growth.While driving technological innovation and productivity advancement in the social economy,they also precipitate multiple le-gal risks,ethical breaches in technology,and social governance challenges.Distinct regulatory pathways have emerged internationally:the EU promotes a rigid governance system through a unified regulatory framework and centralized oversight mechanisms,though concurrently exhibiting a trend of deferred legal application;the United States adopts an advocacy-based regulatory strategy combining principled guidance with corporate self-compliance;the United King-dom implements a non-mandatory principled framework establishing a compromise-based governance model.Grounded in China's strategic imperative to engage in global AI competition and informed by international experi-ences,the legal governance framework for generative AI must incorporate practical legislative imperatives,anchored in the dynamic adaptation between technological iteration and legal regulation,alongside the recalibration of developmen-tal efficacy against security risks.This necessitates establishing tiered safety thresholds and controllability require-ments within the governance architecture.Accordingly,there is an urgent need to enhance institutional provision and policy coordination,construct a multi-stakeholder long-term mechanism integrating administrative supervision,indus-try self-regulation,and technical governance,and formulate scenario-specific liability rules covering the entire life cycle from R&D to deployment-thereby avoiding arbitrary legislative uniformity.The ultimate objective is to forge a comprehensive governance ecosystem characterized by trustworthiness and security as its foundation,and prudence,in-clusiveness,and dynamic adaptability as its defining features.
文摘The niche discipline of Indo-European Studies has proven itself to be prevailingly au courant by launching several projects in the field of online etymological dictionaries.My paper will offer an overview of these projects(including the Lexicon Etymologicum Digitale Indoeuropaeum(LEDI)directed by me)and analyse their approaches,features,and peculiarities(e.g.,commercial vs.open access).Special attention will paid to the projects’inclusions of phonetic rules and affixes,which makes derivation transparent and is helpful for didactic purposes.

文摘Traditional rule-based IntrusionDetection Systems(IDS)are commonly employed owing to their simple design and ability to detect known threats.Nevertheless,as dynamic network traffic and a new degree of threats exist in IoT environments,these systems do not perform well and have elevated false positive rates—consequently decreasing detection accuracy.In this study,we try to overcome these restrictions by employing fuzzy logic and machine learning to develop an Enhanced Rule-Based Model(ERBM)to classify the packets better and identify intrusions.The ERBM developed for this approach improves data preprocessing and feature selections by utilizing fuzzy logic,where three membership functions are created to classify all the network traffic features as low,medium,or high to remain situationally aware of the environment.Such fuzzy logic sets produce adaptive detection rules by reducing data uncertainty.Also,for further classification,machine learning classifiers such as Decision Tree(DT),Random Forest(RF),and Neural Networks(NN)learn complex ways of attacks and make the detection process more precise.A thorough performance evaluation using different metrics,including accuracy,precision,recall,F1 Score,detection rate,and false-positive rate,verifies the supremacy of ERBM over classical IDS.Under extensive experiments,the ERBM enables a remarkable detection rate of 99%with considerably fewer false positives than the conventional models.Integrating the ability for uncertain reasoning with fuzzy logic and an adaptable component via machine learning solutions,the ERBM systemprovides a unique,scalable,data-driven approach to IoT intrusion detection.This research presents a major enhancement initiative in the context of rule-based IDS,introducing improvements in accuracy to evolving IoT threats.

文摘Quantitative analysis of colouration is an essential tool for subspecies delimitation but has always posed a challenge in avian taxonomy.In this study on the Chestnut-winged Babbler(Cyanoderma erythropterum)species complex from tropical Southeast Asia,we made use of colour measurements taken with digital cameras and applied two methodologies—(1)the 75%subspecies rule on quantitative colourimetric variables,and(2)the CIEDE2000 colour distance method to generate phylograms,which has probably never been applied in taxonomy before.Given its large number of described subspecies,many of which have been synonymised in modern taxonomies,the species complex serves as an appropriate model to test subspecies validity.Our data indicate that one synonymised subspecies(C.e.apega),from the islands of Bangka and Belitung,requires re-instalment and recognition,whereas one widely recognised subspecies(C.e.fulviventre),from the Banyak Islands,should be synonymised.Our approach also allowed us to redraw geographic subspecies boundaries.Our work indicates that current subspecies taxonomies of many poorly known tropical species may remain error-ridden and highlights the importance and viability of large-scale taxonomic revisions targeting avian subspecies globally while incorporating quantitative colourimetric approaches.
文摘A literature review on AI applications in the field of railway safety shows that the implemented approaches mainly concern the operational,maintenance,and feedback phases following railway incidents or accidents.These approaches exploit railway safety data once the transport system has received authorization for commissioning.However,railway standards and regulations require the development of a safety management system(SMS)from the specification and design phases of the railway system.This article proposes a new AI approach for analyzing and assessing safety from the specification and design phases of the railway system with a view to improving the development of the SMS.Unlike some learning methods,the proposed approach,which is dedicated in particular to safety assessment bodies,is based on semi-supervised learning carried out in close collaboration with safety experts who contributed to the development of a database of potential accident scenarios(learning example database)relating to the risk of rail collision.The proposed decision support is based on the use of an expert system whose knowledge base is automatically generated by inductive learning in the form of an association rule(rule base)and whose main objective is to suggest to the safety expert possible hazards not considered during the development of the SMS to complete the initial hazard register.
文摘BACKGROUND There is a lack of study on vitamin D and calcium levels in epileptic patients receiving therapy,despite the growing recognition of the importance of bone health in individuals with epilepsy.Associations one statistical method for finding correlations between variables in big datasets is called association rule mining(ARM).This technique finds patterns of common items or events in the data set,including associations.Through the analysis of patient data,including demographics,genetic information,and reactions with previous treatments,ARM can identify harmful drug reactions,possible novel combinations of medicines,and trends which connect particular individual features to treatment outcomes.AIM To investigate the evidence on the effects of anti-epileptic drugs(AEDs)on calcium metabolism and supplementing with vitamin D to help lower the likelihood of bone-related issues using ARM technique.METHODS ARM technique was used to analyze patients’behavior on calcium metabolism,vitamin D and anti-epileptic medicines.Epileptic sufferers of both sexes who attended neurological outpatient and in patient department clinics were recruited for the study.There were three patient groups:Group 1 received one AED,group 2 received two AEDs,and group 3 received more than two AEDs.The researchers analyzed the alkaline phosphatase,ionized calcium,total calcium,phosphorus,vitamin D levels,or parathyroid hormone values.RESULTS A total of 150 patients,aged 12 years to 60 years,were studied,with 50 in each group(1,2,and 3).60%were men,this gender imbalance may affect the study’s findings,as women have different bone metabolism dynamics influenced by hormonal variations,including menopause.The results may not fully capture the distinct effects of AEDs on female patients.A greater equal distribution of women should be the goal of future studies in order to offer a complete comprehension of the metabolic alterations brought on by AEDs.86 patients had generalized epilepsy,64 partial.42%of patients had AEDs for>5 years.Polytherapy reduced calcium and vitamin D levels compared to mono and dual therapy.Polytherapy elevated alkaline phosphatase and phosphorus levels.CONCLUSION ARM revealed the possible effects of variables like age,gender,and polytherapy on parathyroid hormone levels in individuals taking antiepileptic medication.

文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries with high energy density suffer from the soluble lithium polysulfide species,Traditional metal sulfides containing a single metal element used as electrocatalysts for Li-S batteries commonly have limited catalytic abilities to improve battery performance.Herein,based on the Hume-Rothery rule and solvothermal method,the high-entropy sulfide NiCoCuTiVS_(x)derived from Co_(9)S_(8)was designed and synthesized,to realize the combination of small local strain and excellent catalytic performance.With all five metal elements(Ni,Co,Cu,Ti,and V)capable of chemical interactions with soluble polysulfides,NiCoCuTiVS_(x)exhibited strong chemical confinement of polysulfides and promoted fast kinetics for polysulfides conversion.Consequently,the S/NiCoCuTiVS_(x)cathode can maintain a high discharge capacity of 968.9 mA h g^(-1)after 200 cycles at 0.5 C and its capacity retention is 1.3 times higher than that of S/Co_(9)S_(8).The improved cycle stability can be attributed to the synergistic effect originating from the multiple metal elements,coupled with the reduced nucleation and activation barriers of Li_(2)S.The present work opens a path to explore novel electrocatalyst materials based on high entropy materials for the achievement of advanced Li-S batteries.
