We introduce deep learning method to solve this problem and propose a new semantic checking model based on Long Short-Time Memory network(LSTM) for intelligent read-back error checking. A meanpooling layer is added to the traditional LSTM, so as to utilize the information obtained by all the hidden activation vectors, and also to improve the robustness of the semantic vector extracted by LSTM. A MultiLayer Perceptron(MLP) layer, which can maintain the information of different regions in the concatenated vectors obtained by the mean-pooling layer, is applied instead of traditional similarity function in the new model to express the semantic similarity of the read-back pairs quantitatively. The K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) classifier is used to verify whether the read-back pairs are consistent in semantics according to the output of MLP layer. Extensive experiments are conducted and the results show that the proposed model is more effective and more robust than the traditional checking model to verify the semantic consistency of read-backs automatically.展开更多

Information about visual-spatial attention mainly arises from studies using event-related potentials (ERPs) during Posner’s spatial cueing paradigm. This study aims to use neurofeedback with a special protocol for treating children with reading disabilities, and moreo-ver, to evaluate visual-spatial attention ability by means of Posner paradigm task and ERPs. The study was conducted in a single subject design in 20 sessions. Participants were 2 male children, aged between 10 - 12 years old, who completed twelve 30-min neurofeedback sessions. Repeated measurements were performed during the baseline, treatment, and post treatment phases. Results showed some improvement in Posner paradigm parameters (correct response, valid and invalid reaction times). Furthermore, grand average ERPs for both of the participants in each of the four conditions (Valid-right, Invalid-right, Valid-left and Invalid-left) were analyzed. The analysis of P3 component showed a reduction in latency, indicating an improvement in the timing of cognitive processes. In addition, the graphs showed a decrease in amplitude level, which meant easier processing than before.展开更多

Therefore, high school English teachers need to carry out some simple reading requirements in English class to help students improve their English reading level. Based on the importance of cultivating senior high school students' basic English literacy, teachers should design rich English reading project activities to promote the all-round development of students' core English literacy.展开更多

At present, our country still has the problems of mismatch and imbalance of these resources, especially in the Chinese teaching of primary schools in rural areas, where there is a relative shortage of teaching resources, an increase in pupils horizon and a relative shortage of reading resources. In some rural areas, economic resources are relatively scarce, so in the context of double reduction, more learning space needs to be brought for students. Multi text reading teaching can improve the overall learning ability of primary school students, especially the reading ability of students in rural areas, and improve the teaching quality and teaching level.展开更多
