Association between Agricultural Production Value and the Use of Rural Area within the Municipalities in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil

The economic activity disparity among them makes public policy actions difficult. It is possible to find highly efficient and globally competitive producers, as well as those producing for subsistence, in the same area. This disparity stands out the total productivity importance of the factors of production in the agricultural sector, especially the productivity of the land. The way the land is occupied in the rural area, namely crops, pastures, reforestation and other areas, can be indicative of the productivity of the land factor and the value of agricultural production. The products that compose the value of the agricultural production present different land occupation through their own productive characteristic. The main objective of this work was to measure the association between the production value of groups of agricultural products and the diversified uses of the rural area in the production of the municipalities in the state of Sao Paulo. In this research, 52 agricultural products produced in 2008 were used, grouped in five production value variables and other nine variables of the land use in production of the municipalities in Sao Paulo. The multivariate statistical technique of canonical correlation was used to measure the association between the product variables group of the production value with the land use group in agricultural activities. It was concluded that there is a strong correlation (94.3%) in the first pair of canonical variables, representing the production value and the land use, allowing groups of municipalities to be formed at different stages of development in agricultural production. It can be verified that 61.8% of the municipalities in the state were below the average in the production group and land use and that only 4.8% were above average for the production variables group and with values below the average in land use. The stages of agricultural development in the municipalities of Sao Paulo and the association between the production and use of the area can contribute to identify the direction of public policies to increase the productivity of the agricultural sector. 展开更多

Based on the concept of“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”,Chinese government is relying on the ecological and environmental characteristics of cities,in combination with modern ecological,economic,and sociological theories,to achieve sustainable urban development.However,the value realization of ecological products(EP)faces challenges in four major aspects:quantification,trading,transformation,and sustainability.At this stage,seeking breakthroughs to form a stable development path for the realization of the value of EPs is crucial.This paper examines the Guilin Sustainable Development Innovation Demonstration Zone and conducts a case study on oil tea,a characteristic EP.Based on the value realization of EPs,this paper analyzes the oil tea industry in terms of three functions:ecological protection,regional economic development,and traditional cultural support.Drawing on the theory of the gross ecosystem product,this paper examines the role of the value realization of oil tea in improving the quality of the urban living environment and ecosystem functions in Guilin.The results can help promote research on the shaping effects of endemic EPs on sustainable development with respect to the urban economy.Taking a human-centered perspective,the principles of landsenses ecology and traditional ecological knowledge can help analyze the social,historical,and cultural value of oil tea.Combined with on-site research data,a relationship map centered on oil tea culture is created to explore the importance of developing traditional cultural attributes of local EPs in promoting cultural customs,protecting the cultural diversity of ethnic minorities,and driving the development of the cultural tourism industry.By constructing a sustainable urban development model centered on developing local characteristic EPs with the core elements of ecology-economy-traditional culture,this paper aims to strengthen the ecological protection function of cities,promote high-quality economic development,and enhance the soft power of traditional culture.It provides scientific support for the sustainable development planning in Guilin. 展开更多

And one example was calculated using this model to analyze the product energy value, the process of energy consumption and energy consumption per ton of steel of an iron and steel enterprise. The influences of factory layout, steel ratio and production structure are calculated and analyzed. The calculation example indicates that reasonable factory layout is helpful to reduce its transportation energy consumption, decrease loss of heat, improve product rate and reduce environmental contamination; ore to steel ratio and iron to steel ratio decrease at the same degree; the influence of ore to steel ratio on energy intensity per ton is less than that of iron to steel ratio. The lord process product structure has a certain effect on comprehensive energy consumption per ton of steel. 展开更多

A novel method of extracting valuable metals from Ti-bearing blast furnace slag(TBBF slag)via pressure pyrolysis of recyclable ammonium sulfate(AS)−acid leaching process was proposed.The results show that when pressurized roasting at an AS-to-slag mass ratio 3:1 and 370℃for 90 min,the extraction rates of titanium,aluminum and magnesium reached 94.5%,91.9%and 97.4%,respectively.The acid leaching solution was subjected to re-crystallization in a boiling state to obtain a titanium product having a TiO2 content of 94.1%.The above crystallization mother liquor was adjusted to pH=6 and pH≥12.2,respectively,and then qualified Al2O3 and MgO products were obtained.The analysis through XRD and SEM−EDS proves that the main phases in roasted samples were NH4AlSO4,CaSO4 and TiOSO4.The thermodynamic analysis presents that the main minerals of perovskite,spinel and diopside in raw ore could spontaneously react with the intermediate produced by AS under optimal conditions. 展开更多

We want to innovate and improve the system used to realize the value of ecological products by applying the existing research, which focuses on the concept definition of ecological products and their correlation theories. By means of emitting factor judgment and water quality indexes, we locate pollution sources, main pollutants, pollution type and pollution grade in the study area. Using the MAPGIS, we draw a zonality map of the mine environment. This paper attempts to offer a concrete example, including valuable assessment method, data and conclusion, for the assessment of mine environment from the integrated assessment of mineral resources and mine environment. Empowering the value realization of ecological products with a digital economy is an important path for achieving the transformation of“two mountains”and the construction of ecological civilization.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,a fixed-effects model was used to empirically test the impact,heterogeneity and mechanism of the effects of the digital economy on the value realization of ecological products.This analysis revealed three key findings.(1)The digital economy has a significant driving effect on improving the ability to realize the value of ecological products,and this effect is still applicable in a variety of robustness tests such as shrinking the years,replacing explanatory variables,and endogeneity tests.(2)The rise of the digital economy affects the value realization of ecological products to different degrees in different regions,especially in the eastern region,while the effect in the central region is not obvious.(3)The analysis of mechanistic variables indicated that the digital economy has an impact on the value realization of ecological products through the development of green finance and government revenue.Therefore,the government should design differentiated and multi-level support policies for the realization of ecological product value according to the heterogeneity of natural resources,ecological potential and the levels of digital economy development in different regions,and it should strengthen the control of non-environmental protection behaviors of the enterprises.Enterprises should accelerate the digital transformation of the entire production,distribution,circulation and consumption chain of ecological products,and actively develop financial products and services that meet the characteristics and needs of ecological products. 展开更多

An increasing demand for energy and depleting petroleum sources has elevated the need for producing alternative renewable resources.Owing to the prominence of lignocellulosic biomass as bio-renewable and the most abundant resource on Earth,this critical review provides perceptions into the potential of lignocellulosic biomass for production of second generation(2G)ethanol and value added products in a biorefinery manner.The efficient utilization of all three components of lignocellulosic biomass(i.e.,cellulose,hemicellulose and lignin)would play a significant role in the economic viability of cellulosic ethanol.The pretreatment method is the key to the success of bioconversion processes and greatly influences the economics of biorefinery process.Biotechnology tools and process engineering play pivotal roles in development of integrated processes for production of biofuels,biochemicals and biomaterials from lignocellulosic biomass.Although,lignocellulosic biorefinery has ample scopes,commercial production of biofuels and chemicals is still challenging.In this context,this review entails concept of lignocellulose biorefinery,latest developments in 2G ethanol production process,importance and market potential of 2G ethanol as renewable fuel and value added chemicals,integration of processes,challenges for integrated production of fuel together with value added chemicals and future directions. 展开更多

With the appearance of a huge number of reusable electronic products,the precise value evaluation has become an urgent problem to be solved in the recycling process.Traditional methods rely on manual intervention mostly.In order to make the model more suitable for the dynamic updating,this paper proposes the reinforcement learning based electronic products value prediction model which integrates market information to achieve timely and stable prediction results.The basic attributes and depreciation attributes of the product are modeled by two parallel neural networks separately to learn the different effects for prediction.Most importantly,the double deep Q network is adopted to fuse market information by reinforcement learning strategy,and the training on the old product data can be used to predict the following appeared product,which alleviates the cold start problem.Experiments on the real mobile phone recycling platform data verify that the model has achieved higher accuracy and it has a better generalization ability. 展开更多

Pretreatment and fractionation are amongst the key steps for the conversion of lignocelluloses to sustainable biofuels,biomaterials or biochemicals,as pretreatment/fractionation can break the natural recalcitrance of lignocelluloses,improving the conversion efficiency of downstream processes.This paper reviews the recent progress on the pretreatment and fractionation of lignocelluloses for biorefinery at the Chinese Academy of Sciences-Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology(QIBEBT).The main technologies developed at the QIBEBT in recent years include alkaline twin-screw extrusion pretreatment,modified alkali pretreatment,hydrogen peroxide-assisted sodium carbonate pretreatment,fractionation with formic acid,as well as the two-step fractionation by hot water treatment coupling ammonium sulfite treatment.With the development of these technologies,a pilot scale platform for the pretreatment and saccharification of biomass has been established in the pilot plant of QIBEBT. 展开更多
