The text watermarking is a feasible method to protect the copyright from being copied and tampered. In this paper, a text zero-watermarking algorithm is proposed based on the connection between the Chinese characters and the Chinese phonetic alphabets. According to the predefined interval threshold, the proposed algorithm extracts the characteristics of the text content by valuing on the basis of the custom of Chinese phonetic alphabets. After being chaotic transformed, the algorithm combines the text characteristics with the embedded watermarking information in the Chinese text. The experimental results show that the watermarking's capability of preventing tampering is up to 0.1%, which demonstrates the strong robustness and resistance to aggressive behavior of the algorithm. 展开更多

Objective: Pulmonary nodules(PNs) are one of the imaging manifestations of early lung cancer screening,which should receive more attention. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that voice changes occur in patients with pulmonary diseases. The purpose of this study is to explore the differences in phonetic characteristics between patients with PNs and able-bodied persons.Methods: This study explores the phonetic characteristics of patients with PNs in order to provide a simpler and cheaper method for PN screening. It is a case-control study to explore the differences in phonetic characteristics between individuals with and without PNs. This study performed non-parametric statistics on acoustic parameters of vocalizations, collected from January 2017 to March 2018 in Shanghai,China, from these two groups;it explores the differences in third and fourth acoustic parameters between patients with PNs and a normal control group. At the same time, computed tomography(CT) scans,course of disease, combined disease and other risk factors of the patients were collected in the form of questionnaire. According to the grouping of risk factors, the phonetic characteristics of the patients with PNs were analyzed.Results: This study was comprised of 200 patients with PNs, as confirmed by CT, and 86 healthy people that served as a control group. Among patients with PNs, 43% had ground glass opacity, 32% had nodules with a diameter ≥ 8 mm, 19% had a history of smoking and 31% had hyperlipidemia. Compared with the normal group, there were statistically significant differences in pitch, intensity and shimmer in patients with PNs. Among patients with PNs, patients with diameters ≥ 8 mm had a significantly higher third formant. There was a significant difference in intensity, fourth formant and harmonics-to-noise ratio(HNR)between smoking and non-smoking patients. Compared with non-hyperlipidemia patients, the pitch, jitter and shimmer of patients with PNs and hyperlipidemia were higher and the HNR was lower;these differences were statistically significant.Conclusion: This measurable changes in vocalizations can be in patients with PNs. Patients with PNs had lower and weaker voices. The size of PNs had an effect on the phonetic formant. Smoking may contribute to damage to the voice and formant changes. Voice damage is more pronounced in individuals who have PNs accompanied by hyperlipidemia. 展开更多

A fuzzy clustering analysis based phonetic tied-mixture HMM(FPTM) was presented to decrease parameter size and improve robustness of parameter training. FPTM was synthesized from state-tied HMMs by a modified fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm. Each Gaussian codebook of FPTM was built from Gaussian components within the same root node in phonetic decision tree. The experimental results on large vocabulary Mandarin speech recognition show that compared with conventional phonetic tied-mixture HMM and state-tied HMM with approximately the same number of Gaussian mixtures, FPTM achieves word error rate reductions by 4.84% and 13.02% respectively. Combining the two schemes of mixing weights pruning and Gaussian centers fuzzy merging, a significantly parameter size reduction was achieved with little impact on recognition accuracy. 展开更多

Researches on transfer of pronunciation were explored from many aspects, such as phonetics, age, motivation and culture etc. By illustrating the Chinese learners' improper English pronunciation, it tries to discuss the negative transfer of their mother tongue on the English pronunciation on the theoretical basis of phonetic and phonological differences between the two languages. Based on these studies and analysis, it hopes to arouse the learners' awareness of the different pronunciation between English and Chinese and their interests in acquiring a native-like pronunciation, and hopefully the teachers will also help the learners have a good knowledge of the difference before they're affected by the negative transfer of Chinese. 展开更多

Sentiment analysis is a fine‐grained analysis task that aims to identify the sentiment polarity of a specified sentence.Existing methods in Chinese sentiment analysis tasks only consider sentiment features from a single pole and scale and thus cannot fully exploit and utilise sentiment feature information,making their performance less than ideal.To resolve the problem,the authors propose a new method,GP‐FMLNet,that integrates both glyph and phonetic information and design a novel feature matrix learning process for phonetic features with which to model words that have the same pinyin information but different glyph information.Our method solves the problem of misspelling words influencing sentiment polarity prediction results.Specifically,the authors iteratively mine character,glyph,and pinyin features from the input comments sentences.Then,the authors use soft attention and matrix compound modules to model the phonetic features,which empowers their model to keep on zeroing in on the dynamic‐setting words in various positions and to dispense with the impacts of the deceptive‐setting ones.Ex-periments on six public datasets prove that the proposed model fully utilises the glyph and phonetic information and improves on the performance of existing Chinese senti-ment analysis algorithms. 展开更多

A variable-bit-rate characteristic waveform interpolation (VBR-CWI) speech codec with about 1.8 kbit/s average bit rate which integrates phonetic classification into characteristic waveform (CW) decomposition is proposed. Each input frame is classified into one of 4 phonetic classes. Non-speech frames are represented with Bark-band noise model. The extracted CWs become rapidly evolving waveforms (REWs) or slowly evolving waveforms (SEWs) in the cases of unvoiced or stationary voiced frames respectively, while mixed voiced frames use the same CW decomposition as that in the conventional CWI. Experimental results show that the proposed codec can eliminate most buzzy and noisy artifacts existing in the fixed-bit-rate characteristic waveform interpolation (FBR-CWI) speech codec, the average bit rate can be much lower, and its reconstructed speech quality is much better than FS 1 016 CELP at 4.8 kbit/s and similar to G. 723.1 ACELP at 5.3 kbit/s. 展开更多

According to constructivism theory, students do not acquire knowledge in teachers’ teaching but rather in cooperation with others in certain social environments. The theory stresses the importance of learning initiatives and cooperation. Based on constructivism theory, this paper uses empirical research, literature reference, and questionnaire survey to explore the phonetic teaching process of primary school English, to analyze problems from teachers and pupils, thus putting forward corresponding countermeasures. In the study, 100 pupils are interviewed from Grade 5 and Grade 6 of Jietou Central Primary School in Taizhou City. It is found through the questionnaire and data analysis of the problems on English phonetic teaching ways and skills as well as the English phonetic teaching situation that pupils lack listening training and interest in English learning. By analyzing the problems, the paper uses constructivism theory to put forward proposals of improving teachers’ teaching situation and pupils’ English phonetic situation, with the purpose of helping teachers to improve themselves in English phonetic teaching and finally improving pupils’ level in their English learning. 展开更多

为了及时跟进国际研究前沿,以充实和完善我国听障儿童康复干预体系,本研究选择国际权威学术期刊《Clinical Linguistics & Phonetics》,选取其中59篇聚焦于听障儿童语言习得与康复干预的核心文献,以期通过对期刊总计1194篇文献进行... 为了及时跟进国际研究前沿,以充实和完善我国听障儿童康复干预体系,本研究选择国际权威学术期刊《Clinical Linguistics & Phonetics》,选取其中59篇聚焦于听障儿童语言习得与康复干预的核心文献,以期通过对期刊总计1194篇文献进行深入可视化处理后,探究听障儿童相关研究在二十年期间内的主要聚焦点。根据研究领域的变迁,将听障儿童语言习得与康复干预的研究分为三个阶段:阶段一(2002~2008年),该阶段的研究主要以语音学为核心;阶段二(2009~2015年),语音学研究依旧占据主导,但非语音学研究开始逐步增多,显示听障儿童语言康复研究的初步拓展;阶段三(2016~2022年),非语音学相关研究的数量和影响力显著超越语音学研究,标志着听障儿童语言康复研究进入了多元化发展阶段。In order to follow up the international research frontier in time, so as to enrich and improve the rehabilitation intervention system of hearing-impaired children in China, this study selected the international authoritative academic journal Clinical Linguistics & Phonetics, and selected 59 core literatures focusing on language acquisition and rehabilitation intervention of hearing-impaired children, in order to explore the main focus points of related research on hearing-impaired children in 20 years after in-depth visualization of a total of 1194 literatures in the journal. According to the changes of research fields, the research on language acquisition and rehabilitation intervention of hearing-impaired children is divided into three stages: stage 1 (2002~2008), which mainly focuses on phonetics;In the second stage (2009~2015), phonetic research still dominates, but non-phonetic research begins to gradually increase, showing the initial expansion of language rehabilitation research for hearing-impaired children;In the third stage (2016~2022), the number and influence of non-phonetics-related research significantly surpassed that of phonetics research, marking that language rehabilitation research for hearing-impaired children has entered a diversified development stage. 展开更多
