Earth’s internal core and crustal magnetic fields,as measured by geomagnetic satellites like MSS-1(Macao Science Satellite-1)and Swarm,are vital for understanding core dynamics and tectonic evolution.To model these i...Earth’s internal core and crustal magnetic fields,as measured by geomagnetic satellites like MSS-1(Macao Science Satellite-1)and Swarm,are vital for understanding core dynamics and tectonic evolution.To model these internal magnetic fields accurately,data selection based on specific criteria is often employed to minimize the influence of rapidly changing current systems in the ionosphere and magnetosphere.However,the quantitative impact of various data selection criteria on internal geomagnetic field modeling is not well understood.This study aims to address this issue and provide a reference for constructing and applying geomagnetic field models.First,we collect the latest MSS-1 and Swarm satellite magnetic data and summarize widely used data selection criteria in geomagnetic field modeling.Second,we briefly describe the method to co-estimate the core,crustal,and large-scale magnetospheric fields using satellite magnetic data.Finally,we conduct a series of field modeling experiments with different data selection criteria to quantitatively estimate their influence.Our numerical experiments confirm that without selecting data from dark regions and geomagnetically quiet times,the resulting internal field differences at the Earth’s surface can range from tens to hundreds of nanotesla(nT).Additionally,we find that the uncertainties introduced into field models by different data selection criteria are significantly larger than the measurement accuracy of modern geomagnetic satellites.These uncertainties should be considered when utilizing constructed magnetic field models for scientific research and applications.展开更多
With the widespread application of Internet of Things(IoT)technology,the processing of massive realtime streaming data poses significant challenges to the computational and data-processing capabilities of systems.Alth...With the widespread application of Internet of Things(IoT)technology,the processing of massive realtime streaming data poses significant challenges to the computational and data-processing capabilities of systems.Although distributed streaming data processing frameworks such asApache Flink andApache Spark Streaming provide solutions,meeting stringent response time requirements while ensuring high throughput and resource utilization remains an urgent problem.To address this,the study proposes a formal modeling approach based on Performance Evaluation Process Algebra(PEPA),which abstracts the core components and interactions of cloud-based distributed streaming data processing systems.Additionally,a generic service flow generation algorithmis introduced,enabling the automatic extraction of service flows fromthe PEPAmodel and the computation of key performance metrics,including response time,throughput,and resource utilization.The novelty of this work lies in the integration of PEPA-based formal modeling with the service flow generation algorithm,bridging the gap between formal modeling and practical performance evaluation for IoT systems.Simulation experiments demonstrate that optimizing the execution efficiency of components can significantly improve system performance.For instance,increasing the task execution rate from 10 to 100 improves system performance by 9.53%,while further increasing it to 200 results in a 21.58%improvement.However,diminishing returns are observed when the execution rate reaches 500,with only a 0.42%gain.Similarly,increasing the number of TaskManagers from 10 to 20 improves response time by 18.49%,but the improvement slows to 6.06% when increasing from 20 to 50,highlighting the importance of co-optimizing component efficiency and resource management to achieve substantial performance gains.This study provides a systematic framework for analyzing and optimizing the performance of IoT systems for large-scale real-time streaming data processing.The proposed approach not only identifies performance bottlenecks but also offers insights into improving system efficiency under different configurations and workloads.展开更多
Recently automotive nets are adopted to solve increasing problems in automotive electronic systems.Technologies of automotive local area network from CAN and LIN can solve the problems of the increasing of wire bunch ...Recently automotive nets are adopted to solve increasing problems in automotive electronic systems.Technologies of automotive local area network from CAN and LIN can solve the problems of the increasing of wire bunch weight and lack in module installation space.However,the multilayer automotive nets software becomes more and more complex,and the development expense is difficult to predict and to keep in check.In this paper,the modeling method of hierarchical automotive nets and the substitution operation based on object-oriented colored Petri net(OOCPN) are proposed.The OOCPN model which analyzes the software structure and validates the collision mechanism of CAN/LIN bus can speed the automobile system development.First,the subsystems are divided and modeled by object-oriented Petri net(OOPN).According to the sets of message sharing relations,the message ports among them are set and the communication gate transitions are defined.Second,the OOPN model is substituted step by step until the inner objects in the automotive body control modules(BCM) are indivisible and colored by colored Petri net(CPN).And the color subsets mark the node messages for the collision mechanism.Third,the OOCPN model of the automotive body CAN/LIN nets is assembled,which keeps the message sets and the system can be expanded.The proposed model is used to analyze features of information sharing among the objects,and it is also used to describe each subsystem real-time behavior of processing messages and implemental device controllers operating,and puts forward a reasonable software framework for the automotive body control subsystem.The research can help to design the communication model in the automotive body system effectively and provide a convenient and rapid way for developing the logical hierarchy software.展开更多

In this study, the authors propose a method to efficiently simulate the kinematic characteristics of railroad vehicles depending on their speed zone. They utilized the function overloading function supported by a programming language and applied the fourth-order Lunge-Kutta method for dynamic simulation. By constructing an object model, the authors calculated vehicle characteristics and TPS and compared them with actual values, verifying that the developed model represents the real-life vehicle characteristics accurately. When applied to this prolific and hydrocarbon rich resource plays, our understanding of the complexities of the flow mechanism(sorption process and flow behavior in complex fracture systems- induced or natural) leaves much to be desired. In this paper, we present and discuss a novel approach to modeling, history matching of hydrocarbon production from a Marcellus shale asset in southwestern Pennsylvania using advanced data mining, pattern recognition and machine learning technologies. In this new approach instead of imposing our understanding of the flow mechanism, the impact of multi-stage hydraulic fractures, and the production process on the reservoir model, we allow the production history, well log, completion and hydraulic fracturing data to guide our model and determine its behavior. The uniqueness of this technology is that it incorporates the so-called "hard data" directly into the reservoir model, so that the model can be used to optimize the hydraulic fracture process. The "hard data" refers to field measurements during the hydraulic fracturing process such as fluid and proppant type and amount, injection pressure and rate as well as proppant concentration. This novel approach contrasts with the current industry focus on the use of "soft data"(non-measured, interpretive data such as frac length, width,height and conductivity) in the reservoir models. The study focuses on a Marcellus shale asset that includes 135 wells with multiple pads, different landing targets, well length and reservoir properties. The full field history matching process was successfully completed using this data driven approach thus capturing the production behavior with acceptable accuracy for individual wells and for the entire asset.展开更多

It is also an essential content of flight accident analysis. The related techniques are developed in the present paper, including the geometric method for angle of attack and sideslip angle estimation, the extended Kalman filter associated with modified Bryson-Frazier smoother (EKF-MBF) method for aerodynamic coefficient identification, the radial basis function (RBF) neural network method for aerodynamic mod- eling, and the Delta method for stability/control derivative estimation. As an application example, the QAR data of a civil air- plane approaching a high-altitude airport are processed and the aerodynamic coefficient and derivative estimates are obtained. The estimation results are reasonable, which shows that the developed techniques are feasible. The causes for the distribution of aerodynamic derivative estimates are analyzed. Accordingly, several measures to improve estimation accuracy are put forward.展开更多

The novelties of the proposed method lie in two aspects. One is the way in which the spatial features and spectral features were fused as a new feature based on the data field theory, and the other is that local information was introduced to describe the decision boundary and explore the discriminative features for target detection. The extracted features based on data field modeling and manifold embedding techniques were considered for a target detection task.Three standard hyperspectral datasets were considered in the analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed target detection algorithm based on data field theory was proved by the higher detection rates with lower False Alarm Rates(FARs) with respect to those achieved by conventional hyperspectral target detectors.展开更多

Imputation of missing data has long been an important topic and an essential application for intelligent transportation systems(ITS)in the real world.As a state-of-the-art generative model,the diffusion model has prov...Imputation of missing data has long been an important topic and an essential application for intelligent transportation systems(ITS)in the real world.As a state-of-the-art generative model,the diffusion model has proven highly successful in image generation,speech generation,time series modelling etc.and now opens a new avenue for traffic data imputation.In this paper,we propose a conditional diffusion model,called the implicit-explicit diffusion model,for traffic data imputation.This model exploits both the implicit and explicit feature of the data simultaneously.More specifically,we design two types of feature extraction modules,one to capture the implicit dependencies hidden in the raw data at multiple time scales and the other to obtain the long-term temporal dependencies of the time series.This approach not only inherits the advantages of the diffusion model for estimating missing data,but also takes into account the multiscale correlation inherent in traffic data.To illustrate the performance of the model,extensive experiments are conducted on three real-world time series datasets using different missing rates.The experimental results demonstrate that the model improves imputation accuracy and generalization capability.展开更多

While traditional tools and linear models offer insights, they fall short in presenting a holistic view of complex urban challenges. System dynamics (SD) models that are often utilized to provide holistic, systematic understanding of a research subject, like the urban system, emerge as valuable tools, but data scarcity and theoretical inadequacy pose challenges. The research reviews relevant papers on recent SD model applications in urban sustainability since 2018, categorizing them based on nine key indicators. Among the reviewed papers, data limitations and model assumptions were identified as ma jor challenges in applying SD models to urban sustainability. This led to exploring the transformative potential of big data analytics, a rare approach in this field as identified by this study, to enhance SD models’ empirical foundation. Integrating big data could provide data-driven calibration, potentially improving predictive accuracy and reducing reliance on simplified assumptions. The paper concludes by advocating for new approaches that reduce assumptions and promote real-time applicable models, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of urban sustainability through the synergy of big data and SD models.展开更多

The multi-source data interpretation method put forward in this analysis is based on a database-driven pattern and focuses on the discrete and irregular features of geological data. The geological data from a variety of sources covering a range of accuracy, resolution, quantity and quality are classified and integrated according to their reliability and consistency for 3D modeling. The new interpolation-approximation fitting construction algorithm of geological surfaces with the non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS) technique is then presented. The NURBS technique can retain the balance among the requirements for accuracy, surface continuity and data storage of geological structures. Finally, four alternative 3D modeling approaches are demonstrated with reference to some examples, which are selected according to the data quantity and accuracy specification. The proposed approaches offer flexible modeling patterns for different practical engineering demands.展开更多
Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(MDF)frameworks have emerged as a prominent approach to producing economical but accurate surrogate models for aerodynamic data modeling by integrating data with different fidelity levels.How...Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(MDF)frameworks have emerged as a prominent approach to producing economical but accurate surrogate models for aerodynamic data modeling by integrating data with different fidelity levels.However,most existing MDF frameworks assume a uniform data structure between sampling data sources;thus,producing an accurate solution at the required level,for cases of non-uniform data structures is challenging.To address this challenge,an Adaptive Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(AMDF)framework is proposed to produce a composite surrogate model which can efficiently model multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform structures.Firstly,the design space of the input data with non-uniform data structures is decomposed into subdomains containing simplified structures.Secondly,different MDF frameworks and a rule-based selection process are adopted to construct multiple local models for the subdomain data.On the other hand,the Enhanced Local Fidelity Modeling(ELFM)method is proposed to combine the generated local models into a unique and continuous global model.Finally,the resulting model inherits the features of local models and approximates a complete database for the whole design space.The validation of the proposed framework is performed to demonstrate its approximation capabilities in(A)four multi-dimensional analytical problems and(B)a practical engineering case study of constructing an F16C fighter aircraft’s aerodynamic database.Accuracy comparisons of the generated models using the proposed AMDF framework and conventional MDF approaches using a single global modeling algorithm are performed to reveal the adaptability of the proposed approach for fusing multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform structures.Indeed,the results indicated that the proposed framework outperforms the state-of-the-art MDF approach in the cases of non-uniform data.展开更多
For the accurate description of aerodynamic characteristics for aircraft,a wavelet neural network (WNN) aerodynamic modeling method from flight data,based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with i...For the accurate description of aerodynamic characteristics for aircraft,a wavelet neural network (WNN) aerodynamic modeling method from flight data,based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with information sharing strategy and velocity disturbance operator,is proposed.In improved PSO algorithm,an information sharing strategy is used to avoid the premature convergence as much as possible;the velocity disturbance operator is adopted to jump out of this position once falling into the premature convergence.Simulations on lateral and longitudinal aerodynamic modeling for ATTAS (advanced technologies testing aircraft system) indicate that the proposed method can achieve the accuracy improvement of an order of magnitude compared with SPSO-WNN,and can converge to a satisfactory precision by only 60 120 iterations in contrast to SPSO-WNN with 6 times precocities in 200 times repetitive experiments using Morlet and Mexican hat wavelet functions.Furthermore,it is proved that the proposed method is feasible and effective for aerodynamic modeling from flight data.展开更多

However, due to the immature energy data collecting and statistical methods, the available data are usually limited i...An accurate long-term energy demand forecasting is essential for energy planning and policy making. However, due to the immature energy data collecting and statistical methods, the available data are usually limited in many regions. In this paper, on the basis of comprehensive literature review, we proposed a hybrid model based on the long-range alternative energy planning (LEAP) model to improve the accuracy of energy demand forecasting in these regions. By taking Hunan province, China as a typical case, the proposed hybrid model was applied to estimating the possible future energy demand and energy-saving potentials in different sectors. The structure of LEAP model was estimated by Sankey energy flow, and Leslie matrix and autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) models were used to predict the population, industrial structure and transportation turnover, respectively. Monte-Carlo method was employed to evaluate the uncertainty of forecasted results. The results showed that the hybrid model combined with scenario analysis provided a relatively accurate forecast for the long-term energy demand in regions with limited statistical data, and the average standard error of probabilistic distribution in 2030 energy demand was as low as 0.15. The prediction results could provide supportive references to identify energy-saving potentials and energy development pathways.展开更多

文摘This paper presents a conceptual data model, the STA-model, for handling spatial, temporal and attribute aspects of objects in GIS. The model is developed on the basis of object-oriented modeling approach. This model includes two major parts: (a) modeling the signal objects by STA-object elements, and (b) modeling relationships between STA-objects. As an example, the STA-model is applied for modeling land cover change data with spatial, temporal and attribute components.

With respect to this structure, a First order (three-valued) Logic Language is constructured.Any world to be modelled can be logically specified in this Language. The integrity constraints on the database and the deducing rules within the Database world are derived from the proper axioms of the world being modelled.
文摘Automated operation and artificial intelligence technology have become essential for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and punctuality of railways, with applications such as ATO (Automatic Train Operation). In this study, the authors propose a method to efficiently simulate the kinematic characteristics of railroad vehicles depending on their speed zone. They utilized the function overloading function supported by a programming language and applied the fourth-order Lunge-Kutta method for dynamic simulation. By constructing an object model, the authors calculated vehicle characteristics and TPS and compared them with actual values, verifying that the developed model represents the real-life vehicle characteristics accurately. The study highlights potential improvements in automated driving and energy consumption optimization in the railway industry.
文摘Virtual assembly is a Virtual Reality (VR) based engineering application which allows engineers to evaluate, analyze, and plan the assembly of mechanical systems. To model the virtual assembly process, new methodology must be applied. Based on the idea that the virtual assembly system is an event driven system, the interactive behavior and information model is proposed to describe the dynamic process of virtual assembly. Definition of the object-oriented model of virtual assembly is put forward.

文摘Hydrocarbon production from shale has attracted much attention in the recent years. When applied to this prolific and hydrocarbon rich resource plays, our understanding of the complexities of the flow mechanism(sorption process and flow behavior in complex fracture systems- induced or natural) leaves much to be desired. In this paper, we present and discuss a novel approach to modeling, history matching of hydrocarbon production from a Marcellus shale asset in southwestern Pennsylvania using advanced data mining, pattern recognition and machine learning technologies. In this new approach instead of imposing our understanding of the flow mechanism, the impact of multi-stage hydraulic fractures, and the production process on the reservoir model, we allow the production history, well log, completion and hydraulic fracturing data to guide our model and determine its behavior. The uniqueness of this technology is that it incorporates the so-called "hard data" directly into the reservoir model, so that the model can be used to optimize the hydraulic fracture process. The "hard data" refers to field measurements during the hydraulic fracturing process such as fluid and proppant type and amount, injection pressure and rate as well as proppant concentration. This novel approach contrasts with the current industry focus on the use of "soft data"(non-measured, interpretive data such as frac length, width,height and conductivity) in the reservoir models. The study focuses on a Marcellus shale asset that includes 135 wells with multiple pads, different landing targets, well length and reservoir properties. The full field history matching process was successfully completed using this data driven approach thus capturing the production behavior with acceptable accuracy for individual wells and for the entire asset.

文摘Aerodynamic modeling and parameter estimation from quick accesses recorder (QAR) data is an important technical way to analyze the effects of highland weather conditions upon aerodynamic characteristics of airplane. It is also an essential content of flight accident analysis. The related techniques are developed in the present paper, including the geometric method for angle of attack and sideslip angle estimation, the extended Kalman filter associated with modified Bryson-Frazier smoother (EKF-MBF) method for aerodynamic coefficient identification, the radial basis function (RBF) neural network method for aerodynamic mod- eling, and the Delta method for stability/control derivative estimation. As an application example, the QAR data of a civil air- plane approaching a high-altitude airport are processed and the aerodynamic coefficient and derivative estimates are obtained. The estimation results are reasonable, which shows that the developed techniques are feasible. The causes for the distribution of aerodynamic derivative estimates are analyzed. Accordingly, several measures to improve estimation accuracy are put forward.
文摘Target detection is always an important application in hyperspectral image processing field. In this paper, a spectral-spatial target detection algorithm for hyperspectral data is proposed.The spatial feature and spectral feature were unified based on the data filed theory and extracted by weighted manifold embedding. The novelties of the proposed method lie in two aspects. One is the way in which the spatial features and spectral features were fused as a new feature based on the data field theory, and the other is that local information was introduced to describe the decision boundary and explore the discriminative features for target detection. The extracted features based on data field modeling and manifold embedding techniques were considered for a target detection task.Three standard hyperspectral datasets were considered in the analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed target detection algorithm based on data field theory was proved by the higher detection rates with lower False Alarm Rates(FARs) with respect to those achieved by conventional hyperspectral target detectors.

文摘A SOTER management system was developed by analyzing, designing, programming, testing, repeated proceeding and progressing based on the object-oriented method. The function of the attribute database management is inherited and expanded in the new system. The integrity and security of the SOTER database are enhanced. The attribute database management, the spatial database management and the model base are integrated into SOTER based on the component object model (COM), and the graphical user interface (GUI) for Windows is used to interact with clients, thus being easy to create and maintain the SOTER, and convenient to promote the quantification and automation of soil information application.

文摘Imputation of missing data has long been an important topic and an essential application for intelligent transportation systems(ITS)in the real world.As a state-of-the-art generative model,the diffusion model has proven highly successful in image generation,speech generation,time series modelling etc.and now opens a new avenue for traffic data imputation.In this paper,we propose a conditional diffusion model,called the implicit-explicit diffusion model,for traffic data imputation.This model exploits both the implicit and explicit feature of the data simultaneously.More specifically,we design two types of feature extraction modules,one to capture the implicit dependencies hidden in the raw data at multiple time scales and the other to obtain the long-term temporal dependencies of the time series.This approach not only inherits the advantages of the diffusion model for estimating missing data,but also takes into account the multiscale correlation inherent in traffic data.To illustrate the performance of the model,extensive experiments are conducted on three real-world time series datasets using different missing rates.The experimental results demonstrate that the model improves imputation accuracy and generalization capability.

文摘This paper addresses urban sustainability challenges amid global urbanization, emphasizing the need for innova tive approaches aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. While traditional tools and linear models offer insights, they fall short in presenting a holistic view of complex urban challenges. System dynamics (SD) models that are often utilized to provide holistic, systematic understanding of a research subject, like the urban system, emerge as valuable tools, but data scarcity and theoretical inadequacy pose challenges. The research reviews relevant papers on recent SD model applications in urban sustainability since 2018, categorizing them based on nine key indicators. Among the reviewed papers, data limitations and model assumptions were identified as ma jor challenges in applying SD models to urban sustainability. This led to exploring the transformative potential of big data analytics, a rare approach in this field as identified by this study, to enhance SD models’ empirical foundation. Integrating big data could provide data-driven calibration, potentially improving predictive accuracy and reducing reliance on simplified assumptions. The paper concludes by advocating for new approaches that reduce assumptions and promote real-time applicable models, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of urban sustainability through the synergy of big data and SD models.

文摘Due to the complex nature of multi-source geological data, it is difficult to rebuild every geological structure through a single 3D modeling method. The multi-source data interpretation method put forward in this analysis is based on a database-driven pattern and focuses on the discrete and irregular features of geological data. The geological data from a variety of sources covering a range of accuracy, resolution, quantity and quality are classified and integrated according to their reliability and consistency for 3D modeling. The new interpolation-approximation fitting construction algorithm of geological surfaces with the non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS) technique is then presented. The NURBS technique can retain the balance among the requirements for accuracy, surface continuity and data storage of geological structures. Finally, four alternative 3D modeling approaches are demonstrated with reference to some examples, which are selected according to the data quantity and accuracy specification. The proposed approaches offer flexible modeling patterns for different practical engineering demands.

文摘Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(MDF)frameworks have emerged as a prominent approach to producing economical but accurate surrogate models for aerodynamic data modeling by integrating data with different fidelity levels.However,most existing MDF frameworks assume a uniform data structure between sampling data sources;thus,producing an accurate solution at the required level,for cases of non-uniform data structures is challenging.To address this challenge,an Adaptive Multi-fidelity Data Fusion(AMDF)framework is proposed to produce a composite surrogate model which can efficiently model multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform structures.Firstly,the design space of the input data with non-uniform data structures is decomposed into subdomains containing simplified structures.Secondly,different MDF frameworks and a rule-based selection process are adopted to construct multiple local models for the subdomain data.On the other hand,the Enhanced Local Fidelity Modeling(ELFM)method is proposed to combine the generated local models into a unique and continuous global model.Finally,the resulting model inherits the features of local models and approximates a complete database for the whole design space.The validation of the proposed framework is performed to demonstrate its approximation capabilities in(A)four multi-dimensional analytical problems and(B)a practical engineering case study of constructing an F16C fighter aircraft’s aerodynamic database.Accuracy comparisons of the generated models using the proposed AMDF framework and conventional MDF approaches using a single global modeling algorithm are performed to reveal the adaptability of the proposed approach for fusing multi-fidelity data featuring non-uniform structures.Indeed,the results indicated that the proposed framework outperforms the state-of-the-art MDF approach in the cases of non-uniform data.
文摘For the accurate description of aerodynamic characteristics for aircraft,a wavelet neural network (WNN) aerodynamic modeling method from flight data,based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with information sharing strategy and velocity disturbance operator,is proposed.In improved PSO algorithm,an information sharing strategy is used to avoid the premature convergence as much as possible;the velocity disturbance operator is adopted to jump out of this position once falling into the premature convergence.Simulations on lateral and longitudinal aerodynamic modeling for ATTAS (advanced technologies testing aircraft system) indicate that the proposed method can achieve the accuracy improvement of an order of magnitude compared with SPSO-WNN,and can converge to a satisfactory precision by only 60 120 iterations in contrast to SPSO-WNN with 6 times precocities in 200 times repetitive experiments using Morlet and Mexican hat wavelet functions.Furthermore,it is proved that the proposed method is feasible and effective for aerodynamic modeling from flight data.

文摘An accurate long-term energy demand forecasting is essential for energy planning and policy making. However, due to the immature energy data collecting and statistical methods, the available data are usually limited in many regions. In this paper, on the basis of comprehensive literature review, we proposed a hybrid model based on the long-range alternative energy planning (LEAP) model to improve the accuracy of energy demand forecasting in these regions. By taking Hunan province, China as a typical case, the proposed hybrid model was applied to estimating the possible future energy demand and energy-saving potentials in different sectors. The structure of LEAP model was estimated by Sankey energy flow, and Leslie matrix and autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) models were used to predict the population, industrial structure and transportation turnover, respectively. Monte-Carlo method was employed to evaluate the uncertainty of forecasted results. The results showed that the hybrid model combined with scenario analysis provided a relatively accurate forecast for the long-term energy demand in regions with limited statistical data, and the average standard error of probabilistic distribution in 2030 energy demand was as low as 0.15. The prediction results could provide supportive references to identify energy-saving potentials and energy development pathways.

In this model, the geological objects are divided into four object classes: point, line, area and volume. The volume class is further divided into four subclasses: the composite volume, the complex volume, the simple volume and the component. Twelve kinds of topological relations and the related data structures are designed for the geological objects.
文摘Data modeling is the foundation of three-dimensional visualization technology. First the paper proposed the 3D integrated data model of stratum, laneway and drill on the basic of TIN and ARTP, and designed the relevant conceptual and logical model from the view of data model, and described the data structure of geometric elements of the model by adopting the object-oriented modeling idea. And then studied the key modeling technology of stratum, laneway and drill, introduced the ARTP modeling process of stratum, laneway and drill and studied the 3D geometric modeling process of different section laneways. At last, the paper realized the three-dimensional visualization system professionally coalmine-oriented, using SQL Server as background database, Visual C++6.0 and OpenGL as foreground development tools.
