A microwave-H202 process for sludge pretreatment exhibited high efticiencies of releasing organics, nitrogen, and phosphorus, but large quantifies of H202 residues were detected. A uniform design method was thus employed in this study to further optimize H202 dosage by investigating effects of pH and H202 dosage on the amount of 1-I202 residue and releases of organics, nitrogen, and phosphorus. A regression model was established with pH and H202 dosage as the independent variables, and H202 residue and releases of organics, nitrogen, and phosphorus as the dependent variables. In the optimized microwave-H202 process, the pH value of the sludge was firstly adjusted to 11.0, then the sludge was heated to 80~C and H202 was dosed at a H202 :mixed liquor suspended solids (MLSS) ratio of 0.2, and the sludge was finally heated to 100~C by microwave irradiation. Compared to the microwave-H202 process without optimization, the H202 dosage and the utilization rate of H202 in the optimized microwave-H202 process were reduced by 80% and greatly improved by 3.87 times, respectively, when the H202:MLSS dosage ratio was decreased from 1.0 to 0.2, resulting in nearly the same release rate of soluble chemical oxygen demand in the microwave-H202 process without optimization at H202:MLSS ratio of 0.5. 展开更多

An industrial scale propylene production via oxidative dehydrogenation of propane (ODHP) in multi-tubular re- actors was modeled. Multi-tubular fixed-bed reactor used for ODHP process, employing 10000 of small diameter tubes immersed in a shell through a proper coolant flows. Herein, a theory-based pseudo-homogeneous model to describe the operation of a fixed bed reactor for the ODHP to correspondence olefln over V2O5/γ-Al203 catalyst was presented. Steady state one dimensional model has been developed to identify the operation parameters and to describe the propane and oxygen conversions, gas process and coolant temperatures, as well as other pa- rameters affecting the reactor performance such as pressure. Furthermore, the applied model showed that a double-bed multitubular reactor with intermediate air injection scheme was superior to a single-bed design due to the increasing of propylene selectivity while operating under lower oxygen partial pressures resulting in propane conversion of about 37.3%. The optimized length of the reactor needed to reach 100% conversion of the oxygen was theoretically determined. For the single-bed reactor the optimized length of 11.96 m including 0.5 m of inert section at the entrance region and for the double-bed reactor design the optimized lengths of 5.72 m for the first and 7.32 m for the second reactor were calculated. Ultimately, the use of a distributed oxygen feed with limited number of injection points indicated a significant improvement on the reactor performance in terms of propane conversion and propylene selectivity. Besides, this concept could overcome the reactor run- away temperature problem and enabled operations at the wider range of conditions to obtain enhanced propyl- ene production in an industrial scale reactor. 展开更多

Direct propylene epoxidation with H2 and O2,an attractive process to produce propylene oxide(PO),has a potential explosion danger due to the coexistence of flammable gases(i.e.,C3 H6 and H2)and oxidizer(i.e.,O2).The unknown explosion limits of the multi-component feed gas mixture make it difficult to optimize the reaction process under safe operation conditions.In this work,a distribution method is proposed and verified to be effective by comparing estimated and experimental explosion limits of more than 200 kinds of flammable gas mixture.Then,it is employed to estimate the explosion limits of the feed gas mixture,some results of which are also validated by the classic Le Chatelier’s Rule and flammable resistance method.Based on the estimated explosion limits,process optimization is carried out using commercially high and inherently safe reactant concentrations to enhance reaction performance.The promising results are directly obtained through the interface called gOPT in gPROMS only by using a simple,easy-constructed and mature packed-bed reactor,such as the PO yield of 13.3%,PO selectivity of 85.1%and outlet PO fraction of 1.8%.These results can be rationalized by indepth analyses and discussion about the effects of the decision variables on the operation safety and reaction performance.The insights revealed here could shed new light on the process development of the PO production based on the estimation of the explosion limits of the multi-component feed gas mixture containing flammable gase s,inert gas and O2,followed by process optimization. 展开更多

A gas-phase surface discharge(GSD)was employed to optimize the discharge reactor structure and investigate the dye degradation.A dye mixture of methylene blue,acid orange and methyl orange was used as a model pollutant.The results indicated that the reactor structure of the GSD system with the ratio of tube inner surface area and volume of 2.48,screw pitch between a high-voltage electrode of 9.7 mm,high-voltage electrode wire diameter of 0.8 mm,dielectric tube thickness of2.0 mm and tube inner diameter of 16.13 mm presented a better ozone(O_3)generation efficiency.Furthermore,a larger screw pitch and smaller wire diameter enhanced the O_3generation.After the dye mixture degradation by the optimized GSD system,73.21%and 50.74%of the chemical oxygen demand(COD)and total organic carbon removal rate were achieved within 20 min,respectively,and the biochemical oxygen demand(BOD)and biodegradability(BOD/COD)improved. 展开更多

Al2O3p/Al composite coatings were prepared on the surface of AZ31 magnesium alloy by plasma spraying technology with mixed powders of Al and Al2O3. An orthogonal test containing six factors and five levels was carried out to acquire the optimum technical parameters. Mierostruetures and properties of the composite coatings were studied. The results show that the coatings consist of Al2O3 particulates distributed uniformly and Al matrix, and the interface between the particulate and matrix is continuous, compact and clean. With increasing the mass fraction of Al2O3 in the mixed powders, the volume fraction of Al2O3 in the coatings iacreases. The Al2O3p/Al composite coating with 14% Al2O3 volume fraction has more compact microstrueture and more satisfactory properties. 展开更多

According to the design principle of the central composite experimental,the method of response surface analysis with three factors and three levels was adopted based on one factor test.A second-order quadratic equation for photocatalysis of Procion Red MX-5B was built.Response surface and contour were graphed with the decoloration rate of Procion Red MX-5B as the response value.Based on the analysis of the response surface plots and their corresponding contour plots,effects of pH value,irradiation time and catalyst loading were explored.By using this new method,the optimum decoloration condition was obtained as follows:pH value,1.3;irradiation time,49.9 min;catalyst loading,0.57 g/L.In the optimization,R-Squared and Adj R-Squared correlation coefficients for quadratic model were evaluated quite satisfactorily as 0.9310 and 0.8620,respectively.Under the optimum conditions established,the performance of 99.47% for color removal was experimentally reached.It was found that all factors considered have an important effect on the decolorization efficiency of Procion Red MX-5B.By the ANOVA analysis and model confirmation the optimal solution obtained using RSM was experimentally validated and credible with preferable instructional ability for experiments. 展开更多

Attempts had been made to synthesize Al2O3-2SiO2 nanopowders by sol-gel method with tetraethoxysilane(TEOS) and aluminum nitrate(ANN) as the starting materials.DTS,TEM,SEM and BET were employed to study the effects of process parameters on the size,specific surface area and structure(morphology) of powders.The alkali-activation reactivity of the powders was tested for manufacturing geopolymers and their hydrothermal reactions were performed for fabricating zeolites.The results show that the optimum process parameters and drying method for preparing Al2O3-2SiO2 nanopowders are as follows:the molar ratio of water and ethanol to TEOS are 0:1 and 12:1 respectively at synthetic temperature of 50 ℃ and the drying method is azeotropic distillation with microwave drying.The average particle diameters of the powders were about 70 nm and the largest BET specific surface area was up to 669 m^2·g^-1.The compressive strength of the geopolymer and the calcium exchange capacity(by CaCO3) of NaA zeolite prepared with the powders reached to 29 MPa and 366 m^2·g^-1 respectively. 展开更多

Optimization for Nitrogen Removal in Anoxic/Oxic⁃Membrane Bioreactor by Response Surface Methodology

The optimal operating condition for the total nitrogen(TN)removal in an anoxic/oxic⁃membrane reactor(A/O⁃MBR)was studied by employing response surface methodology(RSM),which is a statistical test method for optimizing stochastic processes.The individual and interactive influences of three operating parameters including dissolved oxygen in aerobic tank(DO),internal mixed liquor recycle rate(IR),and mixed liquor suspended solids(MLSS)on the TN removal efficiency were evaluated.TN removal efficiency increased first and then reduced with the increase of DO,IR,and MLSS.Results from RSM indicated that the three factors had significant interactive influences on the TN removal efficiency.Meanwhile,the interaction between DO and MLSS had more significant effects on the TN removal efficiency than those of the other two.The maximum TN removal efficiency was forecasted at 83.34%according to the model when MLSS was 7926.6 mg/L,IR was 371.8%,and DO was 3.5 mg/L.Under this optimum condition,the experimental TN removal efficiency was 83.13%,which further confirmed that the optimum strategy was reliable. 展开更多

硫酸软骨素A(chondroitin sulfate A,CSA)是关节软骨修复中不可或缺的重要成分。CSA由软骨素4-O-磺基转移酶-1(chondroitin 4-O-sulfotransferase-1,C4ST-1)催化软骨素中N-乙酰氨基半乳糖胺(N-acetylgalactosamine,GalNAc)4号位羟基磺... 硫酸软骨素A(chondroitin sulfate A,CSA)是关节软骨修复中不可或缺的重要成分。CSA由软骨素4-O-磺基转移酶-1(chondroitin 4-O-sulfotransferase-1,C4ST-1)催化软骨素中N-乙酰氨基半乳糖胺(N-acetylgalactosamine,GalNAc)4号位羟基磺酸化合成。然而,由于C4ST-1酶活性较低,其催化能力受限,进而阻碍了CSA的工业化生产进程。为此,该研究旨在通过结合重组菌构建和培养基优化提升C4ST-1酶活性。首先在筛选确定了以毕赤酵母GS115为底盘细胞的基础上,进一步优化了以OST1-α分泌信号肽和SUMO Pro 3促溶标签的组合方式进行C4ST-1分泌表达,经摇瓶发酵C4ST-1最高酶活性为1889.2 U/L。鉴于前期研究发现无机盐对C4ST-1酶活性的抑制以及现有培养基成本较高问题,该研究通过优化培养基组分,发现不添加昂贵成分酵母无氨基氮源(yeast nitrogen base without amino acids,YNB)时,C4ST-1酶活性较原培养基提高68.4%。此外,结合碳源、其他氮源以及生物素的筛选与优化使C4ST-1酶活性进一步提高。最终,在5L发酵罐补料分批发酵72 h时,获得最高酶活性为5040.7 U/L。该研究不仅为CSA规模化生产奠定了基础,也将为其他糖胺聚糖(如肝素、硫酸皮肤素)合成所需的磺基转移酶发酵生产提供借鉴。 展开更多

Surface coating is a critical procedure in the case of maintenance engineering. Ceramic coating of the wear areas is of the best practice which substantially enhances the Mean Time between Failure (MTBF). EN24 is a commercial grade alloy which is used for various industrial applications like sleeves, nuts, bolts, shafts, etc. EN24 is having comparatively low corrosion resistance, and ceramic coating of the wear and corroding areas of such parts is a best followed practice which highly improves the frequent failures. The coating quality mainly depends on the coating thickness, surface roughness and coating hardness which finally decides the operability. This paper describes an experimental investigation to effectively optimize the Atmospheric Plasma Spray process input parameters of Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-40% TiO<sub>2</sub> coatings to get the best quality of coating on EN24 alloy steel substrate. The experiments are conducted with an Orthogonal Array (OA) design of experiments (DoE). In the current experiment, critical input parameters are considered and some of the vital output parameters are monitored accordingly and separate mathematical models are generated using regression analysis. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to generate weights for the individual objective functions and based on that, a combined objective function is made. An advanced optimization method, Teaching-Learning-Based Optimization algorithm (TLBO), is practically utilized to the combined objective function to optimize the values of input parameters to get the best output parameters. Confirmation tests are also conducted and their output results are compared with predicted values obtained through mathematical models. The dominating effects of Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-40% TiO<sub>2</sub> spray parameters on output parameters: surface roughness, coating thickness and coating hardness are discussed in detail. It is concluded that the input parameters variation directly affects the characteristics of output parameters and any number of input as well as output parameters can be easily optimized using the current approach. 展开更多

The final coating quality depends mainly on the coating thickness, surface roughness and hardness which ultimately decides the life. This paper presents an experimental study to effectively optimize the Atmospheric Plasma Spray (APS) process input parameters of Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-40% TiO2 ceramic coatings to get the best quality of coating on commercial SS304 substrate. The experiments are conducted with a three-level L<sub>18</sub> Orthogonal Array (OA) Design of Experiments (DoE). Critical input parameters considered are: spray nozzle distance, substrate rotating speed, current of the arc, carrier gas flow and coating powder flow rate. The surface roughness, coating thickness and hardness are considered as the output parameters. Mathematical models are generated using regression analysis for individual output parameters. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to generate weights for the individual objective functions and a combined objective function is generated. An advanced optimization method, Teaching-Learning-Based Optimization algorithm (TLBO), is applied to the combined objective function to optimize the values of input parameters to get the best output parameters and confirmation tests are conducted based on that. 基于BioWin6.0的A^(2)/O工艺模型构建与运行优化

大型污水处理厂实时调控困难导致超标风险长期存在,迫切需要过程仿真软件指导达标运行。以北方某A^(2)/O工艺污水处理厂为研究对象,借助BioWin6.0构建适用模型,面向GB3838一2002《地表水环境质量标准》的准IV类标准深入开展仿真运行优化... 大型污水处理厂实时调控困难导致超标风险长期存在,迫切需要过程仿真软件指导达标运行。以北方某A^(2)/O工艺污水处理厂为研究对象,借助BioWin6.0构建适用模型,面向GB3838一2002《地表水环境质量标准》的准IV类标准深入开展仿真运行优化,分别以控TN优先和控TP优先模拟得到四季推荐运行参数。谨以冬季为例,对冬季控TN优先推荐运行参数进行验证,结果表明COD、NH_(4)^(+)-N和TP3个指标均稳定优于GB3838一2002准IV类标准。值得注意的是,模拟出水TN浓度相比优化前最高降低21.2%;模拟出水TP浓度相比优化前最高降低15.6%,甚至优于地表水准Ⅲ类标准。可见该厂运行升级改造仍有较大空间,所得四季推荐运行参数可为大型污水处理厂降本增效提供借鉴和指导。 展开更多

储氢气瓶内储存的介质是高压氢气,一旦发生泄漏,将引发严重的安全事故。高压储氢气瓶阀门常采用O形圈进行密封,由于该处的O形圈直接受到高压氢气的渗透和压力影响,可能导致其密封性能发生变化,进而影响阀门的整体密封效果。为此,文章以... 储氢气瓶内储存的介质是高压氢气,一旦发生泄漏,将引发严重的安全事故。高压储氢气瓶阀门常采用O形圈进行密封,由于该处的O形圈直接受到高压氢气的渗透和压力影响,可能导致其密封性能发生变化,进而影响阀门的整体密封效果。为此,文章以提升Ⅳ型储氢气瓶瓶阀沟槽结构的密封性能和使用寿命为目标,采用自主研发的氢气试验装置模拟了实际工况下O形圈受氢气影响的情况,并利用O形圈的压缩性能测试结果拟合得到了材料的本构方程。此外,还对瓶阀沟槽进行了仿真分析,探讨了不同沟槽底角度数对最大等效应力的影响。研究发现:沟槽底角为100°时,无论在氢气试验前还是试验后,O形圈所受到的最大等效应力均最小;在沟槽底角为100°的条件下,氢气试验后O形圈所受到的最大等效应力较氢气试验前降低了21.0%,而采用传统沟槽结构时,该应力值只降低了14.3%;同时,在受到氢气影响的情况下,相较于传统瓶阀沟槽结构,采用底角为100°的斜坡沟槽结构时,O形圈的最大等效应力降低了6.6%,且应力集中区域分布更加均匀。 展开更多

All-so lid-state flexible supercapacitors have shown great potential in wearable and portable electronics.In this work, a flexible asymmetric pseudocapacitor(FAPC) is fabricated by using MnO_2 nanosheetscarbon fabric as cathode and Fe_2O_3 nanowire-carbon fabric as anode in the presence of PVA-LiCl as gel electrolyte. With high area capacitances of MnO_2 and Fe_2O_3 based electrodes by optimizing the reaction conditions, the device shows high working potential of 1.8 V, high area capacitance of 83.3 mF/cm^2(119 F/g), stable cycling performance with 82.3% of capacitance retention after 5000 cycles, and a competitive energy density of 53.55 Wh/kg in the broader context of MnO_2-based supercapacitors. In addition, the FAPC demonstrates excellent mechanical stability and flexibility with negligible degradation of electrochemical performance after numerous bending tests, establishing it as a promising candidate for portable and wearable energy storage. 展开更多

Due to the effectiveness, simple deployment and low cost, radio frequency identification (RFID) systems are used in a variety of applications to uniquely identify physical objects. The operation of RFID systems often involves a situation in which multiple readers physically located near one another may interfere with one another's operation. Such reader collision must be minimized to avoid the faulty or miss reads. Specifically, scheduling the colliding RFID readers to reduce the total system transaction time or response time is the challenging problem for large-scale RFID network deployment. Therefore, the aim of this work is to use a successful multi-swarm cooperative optimizer called pseo to minimize both the reader-to-reader interference and total system transaction time in RFID reader networks. The main idea of pS20 is to extend the single population PSO to the interacting multi-swarm model by constructing hierarchical interaction topology and enhanced dynamical update equations. As the RFID network scheduling model formulated in this work is a discrete problem, a binary version of PS20 algorithm is proposed. With seven discrete benchmark functions, PS20 is proved to have significantly better performance than the original PSO and a binary genetic algorithm, pS20 is then used for solving the real-world RFID network scheduling problem. Numerical results for four test cases with different scales, ranging from 30 to 200 readers, demonstrate the performance of the proposed methodology. 展开更多

D_(2)O作为重水堆中的减速剂和冷却剂,广泛应用于核研究领域。采用水精馏工艺提浓D_(2)O时,由于氘与氢的性质相近,需要较大的回流比(50~200),导致精馏塔能量消耗量(简称能耗)较高。本研究首先分析了D_(2)O和H_(2)O混合物分离体系的特点,通过ASPEN软件建立D_(2)O提浓精馏工艺流程,并对其操作参数如塔板数、进料位置、回流比进行优化。模拟结果表明:常规精馏能耗较高,采用热泵精馏技术可以有效降低精馏系统的能耗,提出了一种用于D_(2)O提浓的热泵精馏新工艺。通过分析热泵精馏的原理以及适用范围,对新工艺运行参数进行了优化设计,确定了循环工质流速为323.66kg/h、压缩机压缩比为3.3的操作条件,以满足分离要求并降低能耗。通过对比常规精馏与热泵精馏的热力学参数和能耗分析,结果表明:热泵精馏在D_(2)O提浓工艺中具有良好的应用前景,综合能耗比常规精馏降低了61.28%,节能效益达到66.66%。 展开更多

【目的】采用鲸鱼优化算法(Whale Optimization Algorithm,WOA)对APSIM模型中与土壤N_(2)O排放相关的默认参数进行优化,以提高模型在模拟我国西北半干旱农业区土壤N_(2)O排放的准确性和适用性,为精确评估和管理农业活动中的温室气体排... 【目的】采用鲸鱼优化算法(Whale Optimization Algorithm,WOA)对APSIM模型中与土壤N_(2)O排放相关的默认参数进行优化,以提高模型在模拟我国西北半干旱农业区土壤N_(2)O排放的准确性和适用性,为精确评估和管理农业活动中的温室气体排放提供支持。【方法】采用2020—2021年甘肃省定西市安定区安家坡旱农综合长期定位试验站测定的田间试验数据,结合气象局提供的1970—2021年气象数据,对APSIM模型中N_(2)O形成阶段的4个关键参数(土壤硝化潜力nitrification_pot、铵态氮在半最大利用效率时的浓度nh4_at_half_pot、反硝化系数dnit_rate_coeff、反硝化水系数计算的幂项dnit_wf_power),采用鲸鱼优化算法(WOA)进行单目标多参数优化。通过比较APSIM模型默认参数模拟值、优化参数模拟值和实测值的误差,评估优化后的APSIM土壤N_(2)O排放模型的准确性。【结果】通过多次执行优化程序,最终获得了4个参数的最优组合。其中,土壤硝化潜力为7.62 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)、铵态氮在半最大利用效率时的浓度为49.3 mg·kg^(-1)、反硝化系数为0.00063、反硝化水系数计算的幂项为0.64。与APSIM模型的默认参数相比,决定系数R 2从0.432提升至0.719,均方根误差RMSE从39.42μg·m^(-2)·h^(-1)减少至25.37μg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),归一化均方根误差NRMSE从18.51%下降至11.92%。鲸鱼算法在优化过程中展现出显著的全局搜索能力和快速收敛性。优化后的APSIM模型在模拟土壤N_(2)O排放方面的精度显著提高,表明该方法可以实现对模型参数的快速准确率定。【结论】通过应用鲸鱼算法,4个关键参数得到了精确调整,使得模型的预测误差显著减小,明显地改善了APSIM模型在模拟土壤N_(2)O排放的性能。优化后的模型在我国西北半干旱农业区表现出更高的准确性和适用性,同时也证明了该优化策略的有效性。 展开更多
