This paper brings forward a novel dynamic multiple access network selection scheme(NDMAS),which could achieve less energy loss and improve the poor adaptive capability caused by the variable network parameters.Firstly,a multiple access network selection mathematical model based on information theory is presented. From the perspective of information theory, access selection is essentially a process to reduce the information entropy in the system. It can be found that the lower the information entropy is,the better the system performance fulfills. Therefore, this model is designed to reduce the information entropy by removing redundant parameters, and to avoid the computational cost as well.Secondly, for model implementation, the Principal Component Analysis(PCA) is employed to process the observation data to find out the related factors which affect the users most.As a result, the information entropy is decreased.Theoretical analysis proves that system loss and computational complexity have been decreased by using the proposed approach, while the network QoS and accuracy are guaranteed. Finally, simulation results show that our scheme achieves much better system performance in terms of packet delay, throughput and call blocking probability than other currently existing ones. 展开更多

Resource allocation problem has a great impact on the system performance. However, conventional resource allocation approaches in cellular network cannot be directly applied to this kind of special communication environment. A multidomain resource allocation strategy was proposed in the orthogonal frequency-division multiple access(OFDMA) of high-speed. By analyzing the effect of Doppler shift, sub-channels, antennas, time slots and power were jointly considered to maximize the energy efficiency under the constraint of total transmission power. For the purpose of reducing the computational complexity, noisy chaotic neural network algorithm was used to solve the above optimization problem. Simulation results showed that the proposed resource allocation method had a better performance than the traditional strategy. 展开更多

In order to apply compressive sensing in wireless sensor network, inside the nodes cluster classified by the spatial correlation, we propose that a cluster head adopts free space optical communication with space division multiple access, and a sensor node uses a modulating retro-reflector for communication. Thus while a random sampling matrix is used to guide the establishment of links between head cluster and sensor nodes, the random linear projection is accomplished. To establish multiple links at the same time, an optical space division multiple access antenna is designed. It works in fixed beams switching mode and consists of optic lens with a large field of view(FOV), fiber array on the focal plane which is used to realize virtual channels segmentation, direction of arrival sensor, optical matrix switch and controller. Based on the angles of nodes' laser beams, by dynamically changing the route, optical matrix switch actualizes the multi-beam full duplex tracking receiving and transmission. Due to the structure of fiber array, there will be several fade zones both in the focal plane and in lens' FOV. In order to lower the impact of fade zones and harmonize multibeam, a fiber array adjustment is designed. By theoretical, simulated and experimental study, the antenna's qualitative feasibility is validated. 展开更多

Medium access control( MAC) protocol of underwater acoustic communication network is a key technology for underwater acoustic networks( UANs). Most of the MAC protocols for wireless terrestrial communication networks have been designed with negligible propagation delay. If it is deployed directly in an underwater environment, the UANs will perform inefficiently. In this paper, the characteristics of underwater acoustic channel are modeled and simulated by using the OPNET simulation tool, which are the speed of sound, propagation loss, and four sources for ambient noise: the turbulence, shipping, wind driven waves and thermal noise. The performance of pure Aloha( P-Aloha),carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance( CSMA / CA) and multiple access collision avoidance for wireless local area network( MACAW) protocols in underwater acoustic channel environment are evaluated. The different performance of protocols in underwater environment is compared in the simulation. 展开更多
