Using mixed kernel support vector machine to improve the predictive accuracy of genome selection

The advantages of genome selection(GS) in animal and plant breeding are self-evident.Traditional parametric models have disadvantage in better fit the increasingly large sequencing data and capture complex effects accurately.Machine learning models have demonstrated remarkable potential in addressing these challenges.In this study,we introduced the concept of mixed kernel functions to explore the performance of support vector machine regression(SVR) in GS.Six single kernel functions(SVR_L,SVR_C,SVR_G,SVR_P,SVR_S,SVR_L) and four mixed kernel functions(SVR_GS,SVR_GP,SVR_LS,SVR_LP) were used to predict genome breeding values.The prediction accuracy,mean squared error(MSE) and mean absolute error(MAE) were used as evaluation indicators to compare with two traditional parametric models(GBLUP,BayesB) and two popular machine learning models(RF,KcRR).The results indicate that in most cases,the performance of the mixed kernel function model significantly outperforms that of GBLUP,BayesB and single kernel function.For instance,for T1 in the pig dataset,the predictive accuracy of SVR_GS is improved by 10% compared to GBLUP,and by approximately 4.4 and 18.6% compared to SVR_G and SVR_S respectively.For E1 in the wheat dataset,SVR_GS achieves 13.3% higher prediction accuracy than GBLUP.Among single kernel functions,the Laplacian and Gaussian kernel functions yield similar results,with the Gaussian kernel function performing better.The mixed kernel function notably reduces the MSE and MAE when compared to all single kernel functions.Furthermore,regarding runtime,SVR_GS and SVR_GP mixed kernel functions run approximately three times faster than GBLUP in the pig dataset,with only a slight increase in runtime compared to the single kernel function model.In summary,the mixed kernel function model of SVR demonstrates speed and accuracy competitiveness,and the model such as SVR_GS has important application potential for GS. 展开更多

Landslide probability prediction plays an important role in understanding landslide information in advance and taking preventive measures.Many factors can influence the occurrence of landslides,which is easy to have a curse of dimensionality and thus lead to reduce prediction accuracy.Then the generalization ability of the model will also decline sharply when there are only small samples.To reduce the dimension of calculation and balance the model’s generalization and learning ability,this study proposed a landslide prediction method based on improved principal component analysis(PCA)and mixed kernel function least squares support vector regression(LSSVR)model.First,the traditional PCA was introduced with the idea of linear discrimination,and the dimensions of initial influencing factors were reduced from 8 to 3.The improved PCA can not only weight variables but also extract the original feature.Furthermore,combined with global and local kernel function,the mixed kernel function LSSVR model was framed to improve the generalization ability.Whale optimization algorithm(WOA)was used to optimize the parameters.Moreover,Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),the sum of squared errors(SSE),Mean Absolute Error(MAE),Mean Absolute Precentage Error(MAPE),and reliability were employed to verify the performance of the model.Compared with radial basis function(RBF)LSSVR model,Elman neural network model,and fuzzy decision model,the proposed method has a smaller deviation.Finally,the landslide warning level obtained from the landslide probability can also provide references for relevant decision-making departments in emergency response. 展开更多

The obtained expression of γ0c by the developed AMCT-Ni model has been evaluated to be accurate based on the reported ones from the literature. Meanwhile, three activity coefficients γc,f%,c, andfH,c of C coupled with activity aR,C or a%,c or aH,c have been obtained by the developed AMCT-Ni model and assessed through comparing with the predicted ones by other models from the literature. The first-order activity interaction coefficients ec, ec, and hcc related to γc f%,c, and fH,c are also determined and assessed in comparison with the reported ones from the literature. Furthermore, the integral molar mixing thermodynamic functions such as AmixHm,Fe-C, △mix-Sm,Fe-C, and △mixGm,Fe-C of Fe-C binary melts over a temperature range from 1833 to 1973 K have been determined and evaluated to be valid based on the determined ones from the literature. 展开更多

Mixed matrix hollow fiber membranes(MMHFMs)filled with metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have great potential for energy-efficient gas separation processes,but the major hurdle is polymer/MOFs interfacial defects and membrane plasticization.Herein,lab-synthesized MIL-53 was post-functionalized by aminosilane grafting and subsequently incorporated into Ultem-1000 polymer matrix to fabricate high performance MMHFMs.SEM,DLS,XRD and TGA were performed to characterize silane-modified MIL-53(S-MIL-53)and prepared MMHFMs.Moreover,the effect of MOFs loading was systematically investigated first;then gas separation performance of MMHFMs for pure and mixed gas was evaluated under different pressures.MMHFMs containing post-functionalized S-MIL-53 achieved remarkable gas permeation properties which was better than model predictions.Compared to pure HFMs,CO2permeance of MMHFM loaded with 15%S-MIL-53 increased by 157%accompanying with 40%increase for CO2/N2selectivity,which outperformed the MMHFM filled with naked MIL-53.The pure and mixed gas permeation measurements with elevated feed pressure indicated that incorporation of S-MIL-53 also increased the resistance against CO2plasticization.This work reveals that post-modified MOFs embedded in MMHFMs facilitate the improvement of gas separation performance and suppression of membrane plasticization. 展开更多

By adopting stochastic density functional theory(SDFT)and mixed stochastic-deterministic density functional theory(MDFT)methods,we perform first-principles calculations to predict the shock Hugoniot curves of boron(pressure P=7.9×10^(3)-1.6×10^(6) GPa and temperature T=25-2800 eV),silicon(P=2.6×10^(3)-7.9×10^(5) GPa and T=21.5-1393 eV),and aluminum(P=5.2×10^(3)-9.0×10^(5) GPa and T=25-1393 eV)over wide ranges of pressure and temperature.In particular,we systematically investigate the impact of different cutoff radii in norm-conserving pseudopotentials on the calculated properties at elevated temperatures,such as pressure,ionization energy,and equation of state.By comparing the SDFT and MDFT results with those of other first-principles methods,such as extended first-principles molecular dynamics and path integral Monte Carlo methods,we find that the SDFT and MDFT methods show satisfactory precision,which advances our understanding of first-principles methods when applied to studies of matter at extremely high pressures and temperatures. 展开更多

Natural Monopoly and Mixed Ownership Reform--Based on Natural Experiment and Cost Function Analysis Method

Despite a multitude of theoretical discussions on China's mixed ownership reform, very few studies have addressed realistic questions concerning the implementation of the reform. The Resolutions of the Third Plenum of the 18 th CPC Central Committee and other reform strategies have outlined the reform of sectors with natural monopoly, including urban public utility sectors. The question is how mixed ownership reform should be carried out in sectors of natural monopoly, or which public utilities sectors should enjoy priority of mixed ownership reform. To answer this question, this paper employs data of large public utility enterprises in China from 1998 to 2008, and estimates the natural monopoly attribute at the industry level and corporate total factor productivity(TFP) using cost function analysis method excluding the impact of product price factor. Based on the difference-indifferences-in-differences(DDD) method of natural experiment, an empirical test is carried out for the relationship among natural monopoly, mixed ownership reform and corporate productivity. Our results suggest that:(1) Statistically, mixed ownership reform cannot significantly increase corporate TFP in sectors with natural monopoly;(2) mixed ownership reform should not be carried out indiscriminately on a nationwide basis and for all public utilities sectors. Such an attempt of reform without distinguishing natural monopoly and the level of competitiveness is fraught with policy uncertainties;(3) relative to sectors with natural monopoly, corporate productivity in competitive sectors after mixed ownership reform will improve more significantly and enjoy greater "policy dividends" of institutional reform. 采伐强度对吉林蛟河针阔混交林叶功能性状的影响

【目的】采伐是森林生态系统重要的干扰因子。研究不同采伐强度对针阔混交林叶功能性状的影响可为采伐后树种的恢复提供科学依据。【方法】以吉林蛟河针阔混交林中4种主要树种(色木槭Acer mono、水曲柳Fraxinus mandshurica、紫椴Tilia ... 【目的】采伐是森林生态系统重要的干扰因子。研究不同采伐强度对针阔混交林叶功能性状的影响可为采伐后树种的恢复提供科学依据。【方法】以吉林蛟河针阔混交林中4种主要树种(色木槭Acer mono、水曲柳Fraxinus mandshurica、紫椴Tilia amurensis和红松Pinus koraiensis)为研究对象,设置对照(ck,采伐强度为0)、轻度采伐(T_(1),17.24%)、中度采伐(T_(2),34.74%)和重度采伐(T_(3),51.85%)4种不同处理,采集样品,分析其光合特性、叶结构性状等叶功能性状指标。运用单因素方差分析和最小显著差异法比较不同采伐处理的差异。【结果】不同采伐强度对色木槭、水曲柳、紫椴和红松4种树种的光合特性与叶结构性状产生了显著影响,色木槭、水曲柳、紫椴和红松的最大净光合速率分别在采伐强度为T_(3)、T_(2)、T_(1)和ck处理下最大,分别在采伐强度为T_(2)、T_(1)、ck和T_(3)时最小。通过叶结构性状分析发现:色木槭、水曲柳和紫椴比叶重在T_(1)时最大,色木槭与水曲柳的叶干物质质量分数在T_(3)时最大,水曲柳与紫椴的叶组织密度在T_(1)时最大,而色木槭则在T_(2)时最大。各树种的叶绿素相对含量在种内差异均不显著。【结论】采伐影响了各树种光合特性和叶结构性状:阔叶树种色木槭、水曲柳、紫椴分别在T_(3)、T_(2)、T_(1)采伐强度下碳同化能力最强,且采伐能够提升各阔叶树种叶结构性状参数;红松的光合能力随采伐强度增加而下降,叶结构性状不随采伐强度变化。低强度的采伐可提高吉林蛟河针阔混交林中阔叶树种的光合能力及资源配置效率,高强度的采伐会造成红松适应不良。 展开更多

替奈普酶与阿替普酶治疗急性缺血性卒中短期神经功能恢复比较:线性混合效应模型分析

目的分析替奈普酶与阿替普酶在急性缺血性卒中(acute ischemic stroke,AIS)患者中的早期治疗效果,明确两种静脉溶栓药物的疗效差异,为临床静脉溶栓方案的个体化选择提供循证参考。方法回顾性连续纳入2020年1月—2023年12月在沈阳医学院... 目的分析替奈普酶与阿替普酶在急性缺血性卒中(acute ischemic stroke,AIS)患者中的早期治疗效果,明确两种静脉溶栓药物的疗效差异,为临床静脉溶栓方案的个体化选择提供循证参考。方法回顾性连续纳入2020年1月—2023年12月在沈阳医学院附属中心医院神经内科接受静脉溶栓治疗的AIS患者,根据用药方案分为替奈普酶组和阿替普酶组。收集两组患者的基线资料,包括年龄、性别、既往病史、发病至溶栓时间及基线NIHSS评分等,并提取基线及静脉溶栓后多个时间点(24 h、72 h、7 d、14 d、90 d)的NI HSS评分。采用线性混合效应模型进行统计分析,重点关注分组×时间交互项对神经功能恢复速度的影响;同时通过残差正态性检验、方差齐性检验、多重共线性诊断及留一法稳健性验证确保模型的可靠性。结果共纳入580例AIS患者,替奈普酶组300例(51.7%),阿替普酶组280例(48.3%)。与阿替普酶组相比,替奈普酶组基线NIHSS评分[(16.2±4.5)分vs.(14.1±4.2)分]、心房颤动病史比例(28.3%vs.20.7%)更高,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。线性混合效应模型分析显示,①分组主效应显著(β=1.80,95%CI 0.27~3.33,P=0.03),提示基线时替奈普酶组NIHSS评分显著高于阿替普酶组;②时间主效应显著(β=-0.60,95%CI-0.72~-0.48,P<0.01),提示两组患者的NIHSS评分均随时间呈下降趋势;③分组×时间交互效应显著(β=-0.40,95%CI-0.63~-0.17,P<0.01),表明替奈普酶组的NIHSS评分下降速度快于阿替普酶组;④协变量效应中,年龄(β=0.08,95%CI 0.02~0.14,P=0.02)、基线NIHSS评分(β=0.85,95%CI 0.67~1.03,P<0.01)是神经功能恢复的独立影响因素。模型验证结果显示拟合优度良好。结论在校正基线混杂因素后,替奈普酶治疗的AI S患者短期神经功能恢复速度快于阿替普酶,替奈普酶可作为AIS超早期(发病时间≤4.5 h)静脉溶栓的优选方案之一。 展开更多

目的:探讨止痛如神汤联合高锰酸钾对混合痔术后患者止痛与消肿的效果及安全性。方法:选取本院2023年2月-2024年5月收治的127例混合痔患者,按照术后治疗方法不同分为两组,对照组63例,联合组64例。对照组术后采用高锰酸钾溶液坐浴,联合组... 目的:探讨止痛如神汤联合高锰酸钾对混合痔术后患者止痛与消肿的效果及安全性。方法:选取本院2023年2月-2024年5月收治的127例混合痔患者,按照术后治疗方法不同分为两组,对照组63例,联合组64例。对照组术后采用高锰酸钾溶液坐浴,联合组术后采用高锰酸钾溶液坐浴联合止痛如神汤治疗,比较两组患者的疼痛消失时间、肛门坠胀感消失时间及创面愈合时间、肛周水肿和疼痛评分、血清学指标、肛门功能评分及安全性。结果:联合组患者疼痛消失时间、肛门坠胀感消失时间、创面愈合时间均短于对照组(P<0.05);治疗1周和2周后,两组患者的肛周水肿评分和疼痛视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分均较于治疗前显著降低,且联合组低于对照组(P<0.05);治疗1周和2周后,两组患者的血清血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)、血小板源生长因子(PDGF)和I型胶原蛋白(COL-I)水平均较治疗前显著升高,联合组相较于对照组更高(P<0.05),神经肽Y(NPY)水平则较治疗前显著降低,且联合组低于对照组(P<0.05);治疗后两组患者排便控制评分(Kirwan)和肛门失禁评分(Wexner)均较治疗前显著降低,且联合组低于对照组(P<0.05)。联合组并发症总发生率低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:止痛如神汤联合高锰酸钾治疗混合痔术后患者可缩短临床症状缓解时间及创面愈合时间,减轻肛周水肿和疼痛,促进创面肉芽组织生长和肛门功能恢复,安全性较好。 展开更多

以重庆市中心城区城市兴趣点(POI)数据和相关统计数据为基础,采用频数密度与类型比例法,分别在1000 m×1000 m、500 m×500 m和200 m×200 m 3个尺度下识别城市功能用地,选取最优的空间尺度识别研究区用地功能,分析各类功... 以重庆市中心城区城市兴趣点(POI)数据和相关统计数据为基础,采用频数密度与类型比例法,分别在1000 m×1000 m、500 m×500 m和200 m×200 m 3个尺度下识别城市功能用地,选取最优的空间尺度识别研究区用地功能,分析各类功能用地的空间布局。结果表明,(1)随着空间尺度的增加,识别精度呈递增趋势,而增加幅度呈递减趋势。3个尺度下的总体精度和Kappa系数分别为75%(0.743)、81.3%(0.808)、83.3%(0.828)。空间尺度(单个像元面积)越小识别精度越高,但计算时间相应增加,且精度提高不明显,综合考量,选取200 m×200 m作为最优尺度。(2)城市用地功能分布具有明显的区域差异性,混合功能用地与单一功能用地呈现核心—外围分布的特点。(3)POI数据对城市用地功能识别具有可行性,可以弥补常规研究方法的不足。本研究为该区域优化土地结构、生态空间布局及城市规划提供了参考。 展开更多

We found a new form of the extreme value distribution ΛA(ρx)Λ(x)(0<ρ <1), which is not max-stable. It occurs if FX(x) and FY(x) belong to the same MDA(Λ).
