The fuzzy logic controller of the semi-active suspension system is constructed. The acceleration of driver's seat and its time derivative are used as the inputs of the fuzzy logic controller, and the fuzzy logic controller output determines the semi-active suspension controllable damping force. The fuzzy logic controller is to minimize the mean square root of acceleration of the driver's seat. The control forces of controllable dampers behind the first road wheel are obtained by time delay, and the delay times are determined by the vehicle speed and axles distances. The simulation results show that this control method can decrease the acceleration of driver's seat and the suspension travel of the first road wheel, the ride quality is improved obviously.展开更多

A mechanical model and a system of difft, rential equations of motion taking account of the mass of loading wheel are established. Then the fuzzy logic control is applied to control the vibration of suspension system of track vehicles for sine signal and random road surfaces. Numerical simulation shows that the maximum acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 44 % of the original value for sine signal road surface, and the mean square root of acceleration of suspension system can be reduced to 21% for random road surface. Firstly, power system integration is analyzed and modeled. Then the control algorithm is given. Two fuzzy logics are used to realize the coordination control over each power unit. One controls power distribution based on the load power and battery state of charge (SOC). The other manage the power during regenerating braking. To validate the presented control strategy, a "driver and controller" in the loop simulation platform is built based on dSPACE system and real-time simulation is made. Present methods assume factors in UMTLD are uncorrelated, when these are a...Underwater multi-target tracking logic and decision (UMTLD) has difficulty resolving multi-target tracking problems for underwater vehicles. Present methods assume factors in UMTLD are uncorrelated, when these are actually in a complex, interdependent relationship. To provide this, an index set of multi-target tracking decision characteristics and an analytic network process (ANP) model of the UMTLD method was -established. This method brings the index set of multi-target tracking decision into the ANP model, and the optimization multitarket tracking decision is achieved via computation of the resulting supermatrix. The rationality and robustness of decision results increase in simulations by 13% and 47% respectively with analytic hierarchy process (AHP). These results indicate that the ANP method should be the preferred method when UMTLD factors are interdependent.展开更多

We call it fuzzy logic matching algor...An approach based on fuzzy logic for matching both articulated and non-articulated objects across multiple non-overlapping field of views (FoVs) from multiple cameras is proposed. We call it fuzzy logic matching algorithm (FLMA). The approach uses the information of object motion, shape and camera topology for matching objects across camera views. The motion and shape information of targets are obtained by tracking them using a combination of ConDensation and CAMShift tracking algorithms. The information of camera topology is obtained and used by calculating the projective transformation of each view with the common ground plane. The algorithm is suitable for tracking non-rigid objects with both linear and non-linear motion. We show videos of tracking objects across multiple cameras based on FLMA. From our experiments, the system is able to correctly match the targets across views with a high accuracy.展开更多

This method monitors residual absolute mean and standard deviation of each measurement component with fuzzy logic adaptive controller( FLAC),and adjusts the softening factor matrix dynamically by fuzzy rules,which is capable to modify suboptimal fading factor of STF adaptively and improve the filter's robust adaptive capacity. The simulation results show that the improved filtering performance is superior to the conventional square root cubature Kalman filter( SCKF) and the strong tracking square root cubature Kalman filter( STSCKF).展开更多

However, the ste...Making full use of wind power is one of the main purposes of the wind turbine generator control. Conventional hill climbing search (HCS) method can realize the maximum power point tracking (MPPT). However, the step size of HCS method is constant so that it cannot consider both steady-state response and dynamic response. A fuzzy logical control (FLC) algorithm is proposed to solve this problem in this paper, which can track the maximum power point (MPP) quickly and smoothly. To evaluate MPPT algorithms, four performance indices are also proposed in this paper. They are the energy captured by wind turbine, the maximum power-point tracking time when wind speed changes slowly, the fluctuation magnitude of real power during steady state, and the energy captured by wind turbine when wind speed changes fast. Three cases are designed and simulated in MATLAB/Simulink respectively. The comparison of the three MPPT strategies concludes that the proposed fuzzy logical control algorithm is more superior to the conventional HCS algorithms.展开更多
