Regarded as cyclic ambiguities, the moduli of the measurements traditionally are resolved by adding more antenna elements. This paper models the cyclic ambiguity as a component of the system state, of which the observability is analyzed and compared to that of the bear- ings-only passive location system. It is shown that the necessary and sufficient observability condition for the bearings-only passive location system is only the necessary observability condition for the passive location system with phase difference measurements, and that when the system state is observable, the cyclic ambiguities can be estimated by accumulating the phase difference measurements, thereby making the observer able to locate the emitter with high-precision.展开更多

This algorithm eliminates a large number of false location points from the assignment process by rough correlations before we calculate the correlation cost, so it avoids the operations for the target state estimate and the calculation of the correlation cost for the false correlation sets. In the meantime, with the elimination of these points in the rough correlation, the disturbance from the false correlations in the assignment process is decreased, so the data correlation accuracy is improved correspondingly. Complexity analyses of the new multi-layer optimal algorithm and the traditional optimal assignment algorithm are given. Simulation results show that the new algorithm is feasible and effective.展开更多

It often causes huge losses to the electric system. The Wuhan High Voltage Institute of the State Grid Corporation of China and Huazhong University of Science and Technology have been researching and developing lightning location systems (LLSs) since the late 1980s. In the mid-1990s, a lightning detection network was created in 29 provinces and cities in China. It is primarily applied to rapidly find lightning accidents, which greatly reduces power interruption. Also, it ensures high efficiency and safe operation of the electricity system. Remarkable benefit is achieved. China's LLS went through an "orientation positioning - time difference positioning - integrated positioning" development process. The positioning precision, detection efficiency, degree of automation, practicability and applied range are improved. Based on data of cloud-to-ground lightning detected by a lightning location system in Jiangsu Province from 2007 to 2012and data of thunderstorm days from seven meteorological observation stations in Huai'an durin...Based on data of cloud-to-ground lightning detected by a lightning location system in Jiangsu Province from 2007 to 2012and data of thunderstorm days from seven meteorological observation stations in Huai'an during 1961-2012,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of cloud-to-ground lightning in Huai'an were analyzed.The results show that the total frequency of cloud-to-ground lightning in one day was closely related to the intensity and frequency of thunder and lightning.The seasonal variations in the total frequency of cloud-to-ground lightning in Huai'an.The total frequency was shown in unimodal distribution,and the extreme values always appeared in July or August.Most cloud-to-ground lightning was negative,and its frequency accounted for about95.3% of the total frequency.Cloud-to-ground lightning density was high in the south of Huai'an and low in the north,and the serious and very serious ground flash zones concentrated in the south of Hongze County,and most parts of Xuyi and Jinhu County,so lightning protection should be an important task particularly in these regions.展开更多

Accurate topology information is crucial to management and application in an active low-voltage distribution network(LVDN).Existing topology identification(TI)methods mostly lack a systematic framework to obtain preci...Accurate topology information is crucial to management and application in an active low-voltage distribution network(LVDN).Existing topology identification(TI)methods mostly lack a systematic framework to obtain precise hierarchical relations and consumers’segment locations.Their performances are usually deteriorated by introduction of incomplete and tampered smart meter data.To address the problem of TI with penetration of PV prosumers,non-consumption users,and electricity thieves,a data-driven algorithm is proposed via measurements of nodal voltage magnitude and active power,without any prior network information.Inspired by engineering applications of graph theory knowledge,we cast connection problems of LVDN into the solution of adjacency matrices.Up-down and parallel relations of branches are first identified using active power,based on feature extraction of frequency domain filtering and correlation.Correlation factor analysis is subsequently adopted to assign multiple consumers to specific subnetworks,and then consumers’segments are precisely located by combining regression analysis and association strategy.The proposed algorithm is successfully examined on in a complex LVDN,and results show higher robustness under different scenarios.展开更多

The carbon emissions and cost during the construction phase are significant contributors to the oilfield lifecycle.As oilfields enter the late stage,the adaptability of facilities decreases.To achieve sustainable deve...The carbon emissions and cost during the construction phase are significant contributors to the oilfield lifecycle.As oilfields enter the late stage,the adaptability of facilities decreases.To achieve sustainable development,oilfield reconstruction was usually conducted in discrete rather than continuous space.Motivated by economic and sustainability goals,a 3-phase heuristic model for oilfield reconstruction was developed to mine potential locations in continuous space.In phase 1,considering the process characteristics of the oil and gas gathering system,potential locations were mined in continuous space.In phase 2,incorporating comprehensive reconstruction measures,a reconstruction model was established in discrete space.In phase 3,the topology was further adjusted in continuous space.Subsequently,the model was transformed into a single-objective mixed integer linear programming model using the augmented ε-constraint method.Numerical experiments revealed that the small number of potential locations could effectively reduce the reconstruction cost,and the quality of potential locations mined in phase 1 surpassed those generated in random or grid form.Case studies showed that cost and carbon emissions for a new block were reduced by up to 10.45% and 7.21 %,respectively.These reductions were because the potential locations mined in 1P reduced the number of metering stations,and 3P adjusted the locations of metering stations in continuous space to shorten the pipeline length.For an old oilfield,the load and connection ratios of the old metering station increased to 89.7% and 94.9%,respectively,enhancing operation efficiency.Meanwhile,recycling facilitated the diversification of reconstruction measures and yielded a profit of 582,573 ¥,constituting 5.56% of the total cost.This study adopted comprehensive reconstruction measures and tapped into potential reductions in cost and carbon emissions for oilfield reconstruction,offering valuable insights for future oilfield design and construction.展开更多
In this paper,we propose STPLF,which stands for the short-term forecasting of locational marginal price components,including the forecasting of non-conforming hourly net loads.The volatility of transmission-level hour...In this paper,we propose STPLF,which stands for the short-term forecasting of locational marginal price components,including the forecasting of non-conforming hourly net loads.The volatility of transmission-level hourly locational marginal prices(LMPs)is caused by several factors,including weather data,hourly gas prices,historical hourly loads,and market prices.In addition,variations of non-conforming net loads,which are affected by behind-the-meter distributed energy resources(DERs)and retail customer loads,could have a major impact on the volatility of hourly LMPs,as bulk grid operators have limited visibility of such retail-level resources.We propose a fusion forecasting model for the STPLF,which uses machine learning and deep learning methods to forecast non-conforming loads and respective hourly prices.Additionally,data preprocessing and feature extraction are used to increase the accuracy of the STPLF.The proposed STPLF model also includes a post-processing stage for calculating the probability of hourly LMP spikes.We use a practical set of data to analyze the STPLF results and validate the proposed probabilistic method for calculating the LMP spikes.展开更多
With the widespread deployment of assembly robots in smart manufacturing,efficiently offloading tasks and allocating resources in highly dynamic industrial environments has become a critical challenge for Mobile Edge ...With the widespread deployment of assembly robots in smart manufacturing,efficiently offloading tasks and allocating resources in highly dynamic industrial environments has become a critical challenge for Mobile Edge Computing(MEC).To address this challenge,this paper constructs a cloud-edge-end collaborative MEC system that enables assembly robots to offload complex workflow tasks via multiple paths(horizontal,vertical,and hybrid collaboration).Tomitigate uncertainties arising frommobility,the location predictionmodule is employed.This enables proactive channel-quality estimation,providing forward-looking insights for offloading decisions.Furthermore,we propose a fairness-aware joint optimization framework.Utilizing an improved Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning(MADRL)algorithm whose reward function incorporates total system cost,positional reliability,and timeout penalties,the framework aims to balance resource distribution among assembly robots while maximizing system utility.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework outperforms traditional offloading strategies.By integrating predictive mobility management with fairness-aware optimization,the framework offers a robust solution for dynamic industrial MEC environments.展开更多
The diversion effect caused by the linked structure in a metro tunnel with cross-passage complicates the impact of longitudinal fire source location on the smoke backflow layering behavior that has not been clarified,...The diversion effect caused by the linked structure in a metro tunnel with cross-passage complicates the impact of longitudinal fire source location on the smoke backflow layering behavior that has not been clarified,despite the fact that the scenario exists in practice.A series of laboratory-scale experiments were conducted in this study to investigate the smoke back-layering length in a model tunnel with cross-passage.The heat release rate,the velocity of longitudinal air flow,and the location of the fire source were all varied.It was found that the behavior of smoke backflow for the fire source located at the upstream of bifurcation point resembles a single-hole tunnel fire.As the fire source’s position shifts downstream from the bifurcation point,the length of smoke back-layering progressively increases.A competitive interaction exists between airflow diversion and smoke diversion during smoke backflow,significantly affecting the smoke back-layering length in the main tunnel.The dimensionless smoke back-layering length model was formulated in a tunnel featuring a cross-passage,taking into account the positions of longitudinal fire sources.The dimensionless smoke back-layering length exhibits a positive correlation with the 17/18 power of total heat release rate Q and a negative correlation with the 5/2 power of longitudinal ventilation velocity V.展开更多
Traveling wave(TW)fault location technology has been widely used in transmission systems due to its high accuracy and simplicity.Recently,there has been growing interest in applying this technology to medium voltage(M...Traveling wave(TW)fault location technology has been widely used in transmission systems due to its high accuracy and simplicity.Recently,there has been growing interest in applying this technology to medium voltage(MV)distribution lines.However,current practices in its deployment,signal measurement,and threshold setting are usually from the application experiences in transmission lines,despite significant differences in fault-induced wave characteristics between transmission and distribution systems.To address these issues,this paper investigates the feasibility and applicability of TW fault technology in MV overhead distribution lines through characteristic analysis of fault-induced TWs.The propagation characteristics of aerial mode and zero mode TWs on overhead distribution lines are studied.Furthermore,it evaluates the influence of critical distri-bution network components including distribution transformers,multi-branch configurations,and busbar structures on wave propagation characteristics.Deployment strategies for traveling wave fault location(TWFL)devices is proposed to address the unique challenges of distribution networks,while the fault location method is also improved.Field test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,showing improved fault detection accuracy and system reliability in distri-bution network applications.This research provides practical implementation suggestions for TWFL technology in distribution networks.展开更多
With the popularization of smart devices,Location-Based Services(LBS)greatly facilitates users’life,but at the same time brings the risk of users’location privacy leakage.Existing location privacy protection methods...With the popularization of smart devices,Location-Based Services(LBS)greatly facilitates users’life,but at the same time brings the risk of users’location privacy leakage.Existing location privacy protection methods are deficient,failing to reasonably allocate the privacy budget for non-outlier location points and ignoring the critical location information that may be contained in the outlier points,leading to decreased data availability and privacy exposure problems.To address these problems,this paper proposes a Mix Location Privacy Preservation Method Based on Differential Privacy with Clustering(MLDP).The method first utilizes the DBSCAN clustering algorithm to classify location points into non-outliers and outliers.For non-outliers,the scoring function is designed by combining geographic information and semantic information,and the privacy budget is allocated according to the heat intensity of the hotspot area;for outliers,the scoring function is constructed to allocate the privacy budget based on their correlation with the hotspot area.By comprehensively considering the geographic information,semantic information,and correlation with hotspot areas of the location points,a reasonable privacy budget is assigned to each location point,andfinallynoise is added throughthe Laplacemechanismto realizeprivacyprotection.Experimental results on tworeal trajectory datasets,Geolife and T-Drive,show that the MLDP approach significantly improves data availability while effectively protecting location privacy.Compared with the comparison methods,the maximum available data ratio of MLDP is 1.Moreover,compared with the RandomNoise method,its execution time is 0.056–0.061 s longer,and the logRE is 0.12951–0.62194 lower;compared with KemeansDP,QTK-DP,DPK-F,IDP-SC,and DPK-Means-up methods,it saves 0.114–0.296 s in execution time,and the logRE is 0.01112–0.38283 lower.展开更多

The site error for ...In this paper,a parametric method of site error estimation is developed for a lightning location system (LLS) which consists of three or more direction finders (DFs) and one position analyzer (PA). The site error for each DF is a function of bearings measured by the DF, and is assumed to be limited-term harmonics. The problem of site error estimation is reduced to a non-linear unconstrained minimization problem by employing the eigen technique (Orville Jr., 1987). The site error can be found directly by minimizing the objective function. By using the data set obtained with the LLS of three DFs in Beijing area during the summer of 1988, the site error correction curves for all DFs were found. About 4900 lightning flashes detected by the three DFs were used. The results showed that about 95% of the flash residuals of the sample were within ± 1 degree after corrections. The lightning locations with site error corrections were more consistent with the corresponding radar echoes than those without corrections.展开更多

In view of the heavy calculation burden of the traditional optimal assignment algorithm, this paper proposes a new global optimal assignment algorithm and a 2-stage association algorithm based on a statistic test. Compared with the traditional optimal algorithm, the new optimal algorithm avoids the complicated operations for finding the target position before we calculate association cost; hence, much of the procedure time is saved. In the 2-stage association algorithm, a large number of false location points are eliminated from candidate associations in advance. Therefore, the operation is further decreased, and the correct data association probability is improved in varying degrees. Both the complexity analyses and simulation results can verify the effectiveness of the new algorithms.展开更多

The TLP joint model was divided into two parts and a moving liquid /solid interface model was used for the parts. Diffusion equations were solved for each half of the joints simultaneously up to the end of isothermal solidification. The completion time of isothermal solidification, concentration profiles and position of the solid/liquid interface for each half were calculated. The intersection of the solid/liquid interfaces of two halves was considered the end of isothermal solidification. To obtain some required diffusion data, TLP bonding of FSX-414/MBF80/IN738 was performed at different temperature and time under vacuum atmosphere. The calculated results show good agreement with the experimental results.展开更多

文摘This paper discusses the steps about how to design and implement software based on lightning location system data and its localization map.The system contains four major modules such as real-time lightning monitoring,historical query,lightning intensity zoning,lightning disaster statistics,etc.The system is able to automatically generate real-time lightning monitoring image,lightning animation,and lightning intensity zoning image,which contributes to the high accuracy of the calculation results and the efficiency of data analysis.The paper also points out the deficiencies of software life cycle management and proposes actionable solutions.
文摘Accurate topology information is crucial to management and application in an active low-voltage distribution network(LVDN).Existing topology identification(TI)methods mostly lack a systematic framework to obtain precise hierarchical relations and consumers’segment locations.Their performances are usually deteriorated by introduction of incomplete and tampered smart meter data.To address the problem of TI with penetration of PV prosumers,non-consumption users,and electricity thieves,a data-driven algorithm is proposed via measurements of nodal voltage magnitude and active power,without any prior network information.Inspired by engineering applications of graph theory knowledge,we cast connection problems of LVDN into the solution of adjacency matrices.Up-down and parallel relations of branches are first identified using active power,based on feature extraction of frequency domain filtering and correlation.Correlation factor analysis is subsequently adopted to assign multiple consumers to specific subnetworks,and then consumers’segments are precisely located by combining regression analysis and association strategy.The proposed algorithm is successfully examined on in a complex LVDN,and results show higher robustness under different scenarios.
文摘The literature on multi-attribute optimization for renewable energy source(RES)placement in deregulated power markets is extensive and diverse in methodology.This study focuses on the most relevant publications directly addressing the research problem at hand.Similarly,while the body of work on optimal location and sizing of renewable energy generators(REGs)in balanced distribution systems is substantial,only the most pertinent sources are cited,aligning closely with the study’s objective function.A comprehensive literature review reveals several key research areas:RES integration,RES-related optimization techniques,strategic placement of wind and solar generation,and RES promotion in deregulated powermarkets,particularly within transmission systems.Furthermore,the optimal location and sizing of REGs in both balanced and unbalanced distribution systems have been extensively studied.RESs demonstrate significant potential for standalone applications in remote areas lacking conventional transmission and distribution infrastructure.Also presents a thorough review of current modeling and optimization approaches for RES-based distribution system location and sizing.Additionally,it examines the optimal positioning,sizing,and performance of hybrid and standalone renewable energy systems.This paper provides a comprehensive review of current modeling and optimization approaches for the location and sizing of Renewable Energy Sources(RESs)in distribution systems,focusing on both balanced and unbalanced networks.

文摘The carbon emissions and cost during the construction phase are significant contributors to the oilfield lifecycle.As oilfields enter the late stage,the adaptability of facilities decreases.To achieve sustainable development,oilfield reconstruction was usually conducted in discrete rather than continuous space.Motivated by economic and sustainability goals,a 3-phase heuristic model for oilfield reconstruction was developed to mine potential locations in continuous space.In phase 1,considering the process characteristics of the oil and gas gathering system,potential locations were mined in continuous space.In phase 2,incorporating comprehensive reconstruction measures,a reconstruction model was established in discrete space.In phase 3,the topology was further adjusted in continuous space.Subsequently,the model was transformed into a single-objective mixed integer linear programming model using the augmented ε-constraint method.Numerical experiments revealed that the small number of potential locations could effectively reduce the reconstruction cost,and the quality of potential locations mined in phase 1 surpassed those generated in random or grid form.Case studies showed that cost and carbon emissions for a new block were reduced by up to 10.45% and 7.21 %,respectively.These reductions were because the potential locations mined in 1P reduced the number of metering stations,and 3P adjusted the locations of metering stations in continuous space to shorten the pipeline length.For an old oilfield,the load and connection ratios of the old metering station increased to 89.7% and 94.9%,respectively,enhancing operation efficiency.Meanwhile,recycling facilitated the diversification of reconstruction measures and yielded a profit of 582,573 ¥,constituting 5.56% of the total cost.This study adopted comprehensive reconstruction measures and tapped into potential reductions in cost and carbon emissions for oilfield reconstruction,offering valuable insights for future oilfield design and construction.

文摘In this paper,we propose STPLF,which stands for the short-term forecasting of locational marginal price components,including the forecasting of non-conforming hourly net loads.The volatility of transmission-level hourly locational marginal prices(LMPs)is caused by several factors,including weather data,hourly gas prices,historical hourly loads,and market prices.In addition,variations of non-conforming net loads,which are affected by behind-the-meter distributed energy resources(DERs)and retail customer loads,could have a major impact on the volatility of hourly LMPs,as bulk grid operators have limited visibility of such retail-level resources.We propose a fusion forecasting model for the STPLF,which uses machine learning and deep learning methods to forecast non-conforming loads and respective hourly prices.Additionally,data preprocessing and feature extraction are used to increase the accuracy of the STPLF.The proposed STPLF model also includes a post-processing stage for calculating the probability of hourly LMP spikes.We use a practical set of data to analyze the STPLF results and validate the proposed probabilistic method for calculating the LMP spikes.

文摘With the widespread deployment of assembly robots in smart manufacturing,efficiently offloading tasks and allocating resources in highly dynamic industrial environments has become a critical challenge for Mobile Edge Computing(MEC).To address this challenge,this paper constructs a cloud-edge-end collaborative MEC system that enables assembly robots to offload complex workflow tasks via multiple paths(horizontal,vertical,and hybrid collaboration).Tomitigate uncertainties arising frommobility,the location predictionmodule is employed.This enables proactive channel-quality estimation,providing forward-looking insights for offloading decisions.Furthermore,we propose a fairness-aware joint optimization framework.Utilizing an improved Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning(MADRL)algorithm whose reward function incorporates total system cost,positional reliability,and timeout penalties,the framework aims to balance resource distribution among assembly robots while maximizing system utility.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework outperforms traditional offloading strategies.By integrating predictive mobility management with fairness-aware optimization,the framework offers a robust solution for dynamic industrial MEC environments.

文摘The diversion effect caused by the linked structure in a metro tunnel with cross-passage complicates the impact of longitudinal fire source location on the smoke backflow layering behavior that has not been clarified,despite the fact that the scenario exists in practice.A series of laboratory-scale experiments were conducted in this study to investigate the smoke back-layering length in a model tunnel with cross-passage.The heat release rate,the velocity of longitudinal air flow,and the location of the fire source were all varied.It was found that the behavior of smoke backflow for the fire source located at the upstream of bifurcation point resembles a single-hole tunnel fire.As the fire source’s position shifts downstream from the bifurcation point,the length of smoke back-layering progressively increases.A competitive interaction exists between airflow diversion and smoke diversion during smoke backflow,significantly affecting the smoke back-layering length in the main tunnel.The dimensionless smoke back-layering length model was formulated in a tunnel featuring a cross-passage,taking into account the positions of longitudinal fire sources.The dimensionless smoke back-layering length exhibits a positive correlation with the 17/18 power of total heat release rate Q and a negative correlation with the 5/2 power of longitudinal ventilation velocity V.

文摘Traveling wave(TW)fault location technology has been widely used in transmission systems due to its high accuracy and simplicity.Recently,there has been growing interest in applying this technology to medium voltage(MV)distribution lines.However,current practices in its deployment,signal measurement,and threshold setting are usually from the application experiences in transmission lines,despite significant differences in fault-induced wave characteristics between transmission and distribution systems.To address these issues,this paper investigates the feasibility and applicability of TW fault technology in MV overhead distribution lines through characteristic analysis of fault-induced TWs.The propagation characteristics of aerial mode and zero mode TWs on overhead distribution lines are studied.Furthermore,it evaluates the influence of critical distri-bution network components including distribution transformers,multi-branch configurations,and busbar structures on wave propagation characteristics.Deployment strategies for traveling wave fault location(TWFL)devices is proposed to address the unique challenges of distribution networks,while the fault location method is also improved.Field test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,showing improved fault detection accuracy and system reliability in distri-bution network applications.This research provides practical implementation suggestions for TWFL technology in distribution networks.

文摘With the popularization of smart devices,Location-Based Services(LBS)greatly facilitates users’life,but at the same time brings the risk of users’location privacy leakage.Existing location privacy protection methods are deficient,failing to reasonably allocate the privacy budget for non-outlier location points and ignoring the critical location information that may be contained in the outlier points,leading to decreased data availability and privacy exposure problems.To address these problems,this paper proposes a Mix Location Privacy Preservation Method Based on Differential Privacy with Clustering(MLDP).The method first utilizes the DBSCAN clustering algorithm to classify location points into non-outliers and outliers.For non-outliers,the scoring function is designed by combining geographic information and semantic information,and the privacy budget is allocated according to the heat intensity of the hotspot area;for outliers,the scoring function is constructed to allocate the privacy budget based on their correlation with the hotspot area.By comprehensively considering the geographic information,semantic information,and correlation with hotspot areas of the location points,a reasonable privacy budget is assigned to each location point,andfinallynoise is added throughthe Laplacemechanismto realizeprivacyprotection.Experimental results on tworeal trajectory datasets,Geolife and T-Drive,show that the MLDP approach significantly improves data availability while effectively protecting location privacy.Compared with the comparison methods,the maximum available data ratio of MLDP is 1.Moreover,compared with the RandomNoise method,its execution time is 0.056–0.061 s longer,and the logRE is 0.12951–0.62194 lower;compared with KemeansDP,QTK-DP,DPK-F,IDP-SC,and DPK-Means-up methods,it saves 0.114–0.296 s in execution time,and the logRE is 0.01112–0.38283 lower.

文摘In this paper,a parametric method of site error estimation is developed for a lightning location system (LLS) which consists of three or more direction finders (DFs) and one position analyzer (PA). The site error for each DF is a function of bearings measured by the DF, and is assumed to be limited-term harmonics. The problem of site error estimation is reduced to a non-linear unconstrained minimization problem by employing the eigen technique (Orville Jr., 1987). The site error can be found directly by minimizing the objective function. By using the data set obtained with the LLS of three DFs in Beijing area during the summer of 1988, the site error correction curves for all DFs were found. About 4900 lightning flashes detected by the three DFs were used. The results showed that about 95% of the flash residuals of the sample were within ± 1 degree after corrections. The lightning locations with site error corrections were more consistent with the corresponding radar echoes than those without corrections.

文摘In dense target and false detection scenario of four time difference of arrival (TDOA) for multi-passive-sensor location system, the global optimal data association algorithm has to be adopted. In view of the heavy calculation burden of the traditional optimal assignment algorithm, this paper proposes a new global optimal assignment algorithm and a 2-stage association algorithm based on a statistic test. Compared with the traditional optimal algorithm, the new optimal algorithm avoids the complicated operations for finding the target position before we calculate association cost; hence, much of the procedure time is saved. In the 2-stage association algorithm, a large number of false location points are eliminated from candidate associations in advance. Therefore, the operation is further decreased, and the correct data association probability is improved in varying degrees. Both the complexity analyses and simulation results can verify the effectiveness of the new algorithms.
文摘Isothermal solidification process of a dissimilar transient liquid phase (TLP) bonding of FSX-414/MBF80/IN738 system was simulated by finite difference method. The TLP joint model was divided into two parts and a moving liquid /solid interface model was used for the parts. Diffusion equations were solved for each half of the joints simultaneously up to the end of isothermal solidification. The completion time of isothermal solidification, concentration profiles and position of the solid/liquid interface for each half were calculated. The intersection of the solid/liquid interfaces of two halves was considered the end of isothermal solidification. To obtain some required diffusion data, TLP bonding of FSX-414/MBF80/IN738 was performed at different temperature and time under vacuum atmosphere. The calculated results show good agreement with the experimental results.
