The constitutive relation of carbon nanotube on micro-scale is founded using the non- local elastic theory. The governing equation on micro-scale is obtained. And the first five orders of the natural frequency of the carbon nanotube conveying fluid with various speeds are calculated through the wave method. Besides, the critical flow velocity when the carbon nanotube loses stability is obtained. In particular, the phononic crystals generated according to the Thue-Morse, Rudin-Shapiro and Period-Doubling sequences are theoretically investigated by using the extended transfer matrix method. For comparison, the binary and ternary locally resonant systems are considered, and their band structures are characterized by using the localization factors. Moreover, the influences of structural arrangement, material combination, incidence angle, number of components, length ratio, and random disorder on the band structures are also discussed. The Fourier transform is applied and a mixedboundary value problem is fo...In this paper, the scattering of harmonic anti-plane shear wavesby a finite crack in infinitely long strip is studied using thenon-local theory. The Fourier transform is applied and a mixedboundary value problem is formulated. Then a set of dual integralequations is solved using the Schmidt method instead of the first orthe second integral equation method. A one-dimensional non-localkernel is used instead of a two-di- mensional one for the anti-planedynamic problem to obtain the stress occurring at the crack tips.Contrary to the classical elasticity solution, it is found that nostress singularity is present at the crack tip. The non-local dynamicelastic solutions yield a finite hoop stress at the crack tip, thusallowing for a fracture criterion based on the maximum dynamic stresshypothesis. The finite hoop stress at the crack tip depends on thecrack length, the width of the strip and the lattice parameters.展开更多

The model Hamilton...The existence and properties of intrinsic localized spin-wave modes in a ferromagnetic XXZ spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction are investigated analytically in the semiclassical limit. The model Hamiltonian is quantized by introducing the Dyson–Maleev transformation and the coherent state representation is chosen as the basic representation of the system. By making use of the method of multiple scales combined with a quasidiscreteness approximation, the equation of motion for the coherent-state amplitude is reduced to the nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation.It is shown that a bright intrinsic localized spin-wave mode whose eigenfrequency lies below the bottom of the magnon frequency band can exist in the ferromagnetic system. We also show that the system can produce a dark intrinsic localized spin-wave mode, i.e., nonpropagating kink, whose eigenfrequency is below the upper of the magnon frequency band. In addition, we find that the introduction of the Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction changes wave numbers in the Brillouin-zone corresponding to the appearance of intrinsic localized spin-wave modes.展开更多

They are performed as the results of numerical...In this paper, it is proved the ability of quantity reconstruction, amplitudes and coordinates of metallic strip local scattering sources from the backscattering pattern. They are performed as the results of numerical solution for the infinite perfect conducting strip in case of E-polarization of the incident plane electromagnetic wave. In this case it is necessary to fulfill the following conditions. The local sources amplitudes should be the same order, in transverse and longitudinal directions the local sources should be separated into distances more than apparatus resolution, and the object maximum size does not have to be more than approximately 50λ. It was shown the limit and ability of the further development of the offered method.展开更多
