Ensuring the reliable operation of HSTs is of paramount economic and societal importance. As critical rotating mechanical components of the transmission system, bearings make their fault diagnosis a topic of extensive attention. This paper provides a systematic review of image encoding-based bearing fault diagnosis methods tailored to the condition monitoring of HSTs. First, it categorizes the image encoding techniques applied in the field of bearing fault diagnosis. Then, a review of state-of-the-art studies has been presented, encompassing both monomodal image conversion and multimodal image fusion approaches. Finally, it highlights current challenges and proposes future research directions to advance intelligent fault diagnosis in HSTs, aiming to provide a valuable reference for researchers and engineers in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance.展开更多
A high-speed train travelling from the open air into a narrow tunnel will cause the“sonic boom”at tunnel exit.When the maglev train’s speed reaches 600 km/h,the train-tunnel aerodynamic effect is intensified,so a n...A high-speed train travelling from the open air into a narrow tunnel will cause the“sonic boom”at tunnel exit.When the maglev train’s speed reaches 600 km/h,the train-tunnel aerodynamic effect is intensified,so a new mitigation method is urgently expected to be explored.This study proposed a novel asymptotic linear method(ALM)for micro pressure wave(MPW)mitigation to achieve a constant gradient of initial c ompression waves(ICWs),via a study with various open ratios on hoods.The properties of ICWs and MPWs under various open ratios of hoods were analyzed.The results show that as the open ratio increases,the MPW amplitude at the tunnel exit initially decreases before rising.At the open ratio of 2.28%,the slope of the ICW curve is linearly coincident with a supposed straight line in the ALM,which further reduces the MPW amplitude by 26.9%at 20 m and 20.0%at 50 m from the exit,as compared to the unvented hood.Therefore,the proposed method effectively mitigates MPW and quickly determines the upper limit of alleviation for the MPW amplitude at a fixed train-tunnel operation condition.All achievements provide a ne w potential measure for the adaptive design of tunnel hoods.展开更多
The flow dynamics of binary particle mixtures in the fluidized bed needs to be monitored in order to optimize the related industrial processes.In this paper,electrostatic sensing and high-speed imaging are applied to ...The flow dynamics of binary particle mixtures in the fluidized bed needs to be monitored in order to optimize the related industrial processes.In this paper,electrostatic sensing and high-speed imaging are applied to measure the velocities of polyethylene and sand particles in the binary particle mixtures in fluidization.Experimental studies were conducted on a lab-scale cold circulating fluidized bed.Correlation function between electrostatic signals from upstream and downstream electrodes placed along the riser shows two peaks that represent transit times for the two types of particles.To verify the above results,high-speed imaging was adopted to capture the flow images of particle mixtures.Particle Image Velocimetry and Particle Tracking Velocimetry algorithms were utilized to process the resulted images in order to measure the velocities of polyethylene and sand particles.The reasons for two-peak correlation functions are illustrated based on the frequency spectrums of the mono-solid-phase electrostatic signals and the velocity difference between polyethylene and sand particles.Finally,comparisons on the velocities obtained from electrostatic sensing and high-speed imaging demonstrate the electrostatic sensor can roughly estimate the particle velocity of binary particle mixtures in the near wall region of the circulating fluidized bed.展开更多
The electrical contact-high-speed imaging experimental system was developed to investigate the molten bridge phenomena of AgNi10 electrical contact material.The dimension of molten bridges was measured along with the ...The electrical contact-high-speed imaging experimental system was developed to investigate the molten bridge phenomena of AgNi10 electrical contact material.The dimension of molten bridges was measured along with the measurement of waveforms in the contact voltage under the load of direct current(DC) 6 V(8-20 A)and breaking speed of 50.0 mm·s^(-1).A part of the observed results was presented as well as surface morphology of the contacts after electrical contact behavior,which shows some interesting and new phenomena.Molten bridges and arc could exist simultaneously.The stable molten bridge looks like cylindrical shape and then becomes needle tip at its rupture,the diameter and length of molten bridges both increase with the increase in current and the growth gradient of the diameter is larger than that of the length.The morphology and elemental distribution of the contact surface are changed by the behavior of electrical contact.展开更多
Hyperspectral imaging(HSI)is a powerful tool widely used for various scientific and industrial applications due to its ability to provide rich spatiospectral information.However,in exchange for multiplex spectral info...Hyperspectral imaging(HSI)is a powerful tool widely used for various scientific and industrial applications due to its ability to provide rich spatiospectral information.However,in exchange for multiplex spectral information,its image acquisition rate is lower than that of conventional imaging,with up to a few colors.In particular,HSI in the infrared region and using nonlinear optical processes is impractically slow because the three-dimensional(3D)data cube must be scanned in a point-by-point manner.In this study,we demonstrate a framework to improve the spectral image acquisition rate of HSI by integrating time-domain HSI and compressed sensing.Specifically,we simulated broadband coherent Raman imaging at a record high frame rate of 25 frames per second(fps)with 100 pixels×100 pixels,which is 10×faster than that of previous work,based on an experimentally feasible sampling scheme utilizing 3D Lissajous scanning.展开更多

Based on reasonable assumptions that simplified the calculational model,a simple and practical method was proposed to calculate the post-construction settlement of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation by using th...Based on reasonable assumptions that simplified the calculational model,a simple and practical method was proposed to calculate the post-construction settlement of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation by using the Mesri creep model to describe the soil characteristics and the Mindlin-Geddes method considering pile diameter to calculate the vertical additional stress of pile bottom.A program named CPPS was designed for this method to calculate the post-construction settlement of a high-speed railway bridge pile foundation.The result indicates that the post-construction settlement in 100 years meets the requirements of the engineering specifications,and in the first two decades,the post-construction settlement is about 80% of its total settlement,while the settlement in the rest eighty years tends to be stable.Compared with the measured settlement after laying railway tracks,the calculational result is closed to that of the measured,and the results are conservative with a high computational accuracy.It is noted that the method can be used to calculate the post-construction settlement for the preliminary design of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation.展开更多
Taking a high-speed train in China as an example,using computer simulation technology and comparing with the test data,the three current methods including linear stability analysis method,nonlinear stability analysis ...Taking a high-speed train in China as an example,using computer simulation technology and comparing with the test data,the three current methods including linear stability analysis method,nonlinear stability analysis method and the field testing criterion are studied to evaluate stability of high-speed trains.A new stability evaluation method is proposed which can be used to evaluate lateral stability of high-speed vehicle based on the codes of UIC 515and UIC 518.From the viewpoint of taking the most unfavorable track conditions into account and improving the safety margin,the new method uses the root mean square of bogie lateral acceleration as a criterion to evaluate the lateral stability of high-speed trains.Numerical example shows that the proposed method not only considers the forced vibration caused by track irregularities in the actual practice,but also takes the instability self-excited vibration into account,so it can realize early warning of bogie slight unstable oscillation,meanwhile the method itself does not involve complex algorithms which has the possibility of engineering applications.展开更多
The visual noise of each light intensity area is different when the image is drawn by Monte Carlo method.However,the existing denoising algorithms have limited denoising performance under complex lighting conditions a...The visual noise of each light intensity area is different when the image is drawn by Monte Carlo method.However,the existing denoising algorithms have limited denoising performance under complex lighting conditions and are easy to lose detailed information.So we propose a rendered image denoising method with filtering guided by lighting information.First,we design an image segmentation algorithm based on lighting information to segment the image into different illumination areas.Then,we establish the parameter prediction model guided by lighting information for filtering(PGLF)to predict the filtering parameters of different illumination areas.For different illumination areas,we use these filtering parameters to construct area filters,and the filters are guided by the lighting information to perform sub-area filtering.Finally,the filtering results are fused with auxiliary features to output denoised images for improving the overall denoising effect of the image.Under the physically based rendering tool(PBRT)scene and Tungsten dataset,the experimental results show that compared with other guided filtering denoising methods,our method improves the peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)metrics by 4.2164 dB on average and the structural similarity index(SSIM)metrics by 7.8%on average.This shows that our method can better reduce the noise in complex lighting scenesand improvethe imagequality.展开更多
High-speed trains often use temperature sensors to monitor the motion state of bearings.However,the temperature of bearings can be affected by factors such as weather and faults.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze in...High-speed trains often use temperature sensors to monitor the motion state of bearings.However,the temperature of bearings can be affected by factors such as weather and faults.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze in detail the relationship between the bearing temperature and influencing factors.In this study,a dynamics model of the axle box bearing of high-speed trains is established.The model can obtain the contact force between the rollers and raceway and its change law when the bearing contains outer-ring,inner-ring,and rolling-element faults.Based on the model,a thermal network method is introduced to study the temperature field distribution of the axle box bearings of high-speed trains.In this model,the heat generation,conduction,and dispersion of the isothermal nodes can be solved.The results show that the temperature of the contact point between the outer-ring raceway and rolling-elements is the highest.The relationships between the node temperature and the speed,fault type,and fault size are analyzed,finding that the higher the speed,the higher the node temperature.Under different fault types,the node temperature first increases and then decreases as the fault size increases.The effectiveness of the model is demonstrated using the actual temperature data of a high-speed train.This study proposes a thermal network model that can predict the temperature of each component of the bearings on a high-speed train under various speed and fault conditions.展开更多

Based on the propagation theory of elastic wave in half-space layered medium, the propagation characteristics of elastic wave in layered medium with different elastic parameters are discussed using dynamic analysis of finite element method. It is known that the S-wave velocity, density and thickness of layer are related to the properties of the elastic wave including waveform characteristics, spectral characteristics and time-frequency characteristics. We pay special attention to the structure with low velocity interlayer. The impact imaging method is applied to the grouting construction of the immersed tube tunnel. Data acquisition and analytical method are introduced in detail. The grouting effects can be qualitatively evaluated by comparing the characteristics of elastic wave before grouting with those after grouting. Finally, a quantitative evaluation is obtained according to the relationship between energy response of elastic wave and impedance ratio.展开更多

Two examples with homogeneous and inhomogeneous background mediums are considered, respectively. The generalized thresholding minimizes the non-convex p-norm based function with p < 1, and it penalizes small coefficients over a wider range meanwhile applies less bias to the larger coefficients.In this work, on the basis of two-level Bregman method with dictionary updating(TBMDU), we use the modified thresholding to minimize the non-convex function and propose the generalized TBMDU(GTBMDU) algorithm.The experimental results on magnetic resonance(MR) image simulations and real MR data, under a variety of sampling trajectories and acceleration factors, consistently demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can efficiently reconstruct the MR images and present advantages over the previous soft thresholding approaches.展开更多

The electrical performance of radomes on high-speed aircraft can be influenced by the thermal and mechanical loads produced during high-speed flight,which can affect the detection dis-tance and accuracy of the guidanc...The electrical performance of radomes on high-speed aircraft can be influenced by the thermal and mechanical loads produced during high-speed flight,which can affect the detection dis-tance and accuracy of the guidance system.This paper presents a new method that uses the Finite Difference Time Domain(FDTD)method to calculate the electrical performance of radomes under Thermo-Mechanical-Electrical(TME)coupling.This method can accurately characterize the effects of material dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation on the electrical performance of the radome under flight conditions,enabling high-precision full-wave calculations of the broadband electrical performance of the radome.The method initiates by utilizing a Finite Element Grid Model(FE-GM)of the radome to sequentially acquire the radome's response temperature field and structural deformation field through thermal and mechanical simulations.Subsequently,spatial mapping techniques are developed to accurately incorporate the dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation of the radome into its Yee grid Electromagnetic(EM)simulation model.A verification case was designed to test the proposed method,and the results confirmed its high computational accuracy.Additionally,the effectiveness and necessity of the method were further demonstrated by analyzing the electrical performance of a fused silica ceramic radome used on a high-speed aircraft.展开更多

文摘Based on reasonable assumptions that simplified the calculational model,a simple and practical method was proposed to calculate the post-construction settlement of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation by using the Mesri creep model to describe the soil characteristics and the Mindlin-Geddes method considering pile diameter to calculate the vertical additional stress of pile bottom.A program named CPPS was designed for this method to calculate the post-construction settlement of a high-speed railway bridge pile foundation.The result indicates that the post-construction settlement in 100 years meets the requirements of the engineering specifications,and in the first two decades,the post-construction settlement is about 80% of its total settlement,while the settlement in the rest eighty years tends to be stable.Compared with the measured settlement after laying railway tracks,the calculational result is closed to that of the measured,and the results are conservative with a high computational accuracy.It is noted that the method can be used to calculate the post-construction settlement for the preliminary design of high-speed railway bridge pile foundation.

文摘Taking a high-speed train in China as an example,using computer simulation technology and comparing with the test data,the three current methods including linear stability analysis method,nonlinear stability analysis method and the field testing criterion are studied to evaluate stability of high-speed trains.A new stability evaluation method is proposed which can be used to evaluate lateral stability of high-speed vehicle based on the codes of UIC 515and UIC 518.From the viewpoint of taking the most unfavorable track conditions into account and improving the safety margin,the new method uses the root mean square of bogie lateral acceleration as a criterion to evaluate the lateral stability of high-speed trains.Numerical example shows that the proposed method not only considers the forced vibration caused by track irregularities in the actual practice,but also takes the instability self-excited vibration into account,so it can realize early warning of bogie slight unstable oscillation,meanwhile the method itself does not involve complex algorithms which has the possibility of engineering applications.

文摘The visual noise of each light intensity area is different when the image is drawn by Monte Carlo method.However,the existing denoising algorithms have limited denoising performance under complex lighting conditions and are easy to lose detailed information.So we propose a rendered image denoising method with filtering guided by lighting information.First,we design an image segmentation algorithm based on lighting information to segment the image into different illumination areas.Then,we establish the parameter prediction model guided by lighting information for filtering(PGLF)to predict the filtering parameters of different illumination areas.For different illumination areas,we use these filtering parameters to construct area filters,and the filters are guided by the lighting information to perform sub-area filtering.Finally,the filtering results are fused with auxiliary features to output denoised images for improving the overall denoising effect of the image.Under the physically based rendering tool(PBRT)scene and Tungsten dataset,the experimental results show that compared with other guided filtering denoising methods,our method improves the peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)metrics by 4.2164 dB on average and the structural similarity index(SSIM)metrics by 7.8%on average.This shows that our method can better reduce the noise in complex lighting scenesand improvethe imagequality.

文摘High-speed trains often use temperature sensors to monitor the motion state of bearings.However,the temperature of bearings can be affected by factors such as weather and faults.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze in detail the relationship between the bearing temperature and influencing factors.In this study,a dynamics model of the axle box bearing of high-speed trains is established.The model can obtain the contact force between the rollers and raceway and its change law when the bearing contains outer-ring,inner-ring,and rolling-element faults.Based on the model,a thermal network method is introduced to study the temperature field distribution of the axle box bearings of high-speed trains.In this model,the heat generation,conduction,and dispersion of the isothermal nodes can be solved.The results show that the temperature of the contact point between the outer-ring raceway and rolling-elements is the highest.The relationships between the node temperature and the speed,fault type,and fault size are analyzed,finding that the higher the speed,the higher the node temperature.Under different fault types,the node temperature first increases and then decreases as the fault size increases.The effectiveness of the model is demonstrated using the actual temperature data of a high-speed train.This study proposes a thermal network model that can predict the temperature of each component of the bearings on a high-speed train under various speed and fault conditions.

文摘It is an important subject to probe the structure in the medium by various kinds of detection methods in the geotechnical engineering. Based on the propagation theory of elastic wave in half-space layered medium, the propagation characteristics of elastic wave in layered medium with different elastic parameters are discussed using dynamic analysis of finite element method. It is known that the S-wave velocity, density and thickness of layer are related to the properties of the elastic wave including waveform characteristics, spectral characteristics and time-frequency characteristics. We pay special attention to the structure with low velocity interlayer. The impact imaging method is applied to the grouting construction of the immersed tube tunnel. Data acquisition and analytical method are introduced in detail. The grouting effects can be qualitatively evaluated by comparing the characteristics of elastic wave before grouting with those after grouting. Finally, a quantitative evaluation is obtained according to the relationship between energy response of elastic wave and impedance ratio.
文摘According to the valve port features of high speed on-off valve and its actions,the valve port can be simplified into an a-type half bridge construction.A method that tests the dynamic characteristics of the high speed on-off valve by the output pressure signal of the a-type half bridge is proposed.Having analyzed the factors related to the dynamic characteristics of an a-type half bridge,a rule for designing the outlet chamber's volume is worked out.According to the rule,a test stand is built to test the self-developed high-speed on-off valve.From the test results,it can be seen that with the outlet chamber's volume controlled by the rule the rise time of the pressure signals driven by signals with different frequencies changes very little.The test results conform to the simulation results,which nroves the correctness of the method.
文摘A new method for analyzing high-speed circuit systems is presented. The method adds transmission line end currents to the circuit variables of the classical modified nodal approach. Then the matrix equation describing high-speed circuit system can be formulated directly and analyzed conveniently for its normative form. A time-domain analysis method for transmission lines is also introduced. The two methods are combined together to efficiently analyze high-speed circuit systems having general transmission lines. Numerical experiment is presented and the results are compared with that calculated by Hspice.

文摘An efficient hybrid time reversal(TR) imaging method based on signal subspace and noise subspace is proposed for electromagnetic superresolution detecting and imaging. First, the locations of targets are estimated by the transmitting-mode decomposition of the TR operator(DORT) method employing the signal subspace. Then, the TR multiple signal classification(TR-MUSIC)method employing the noise subspace is used in the estimated target area to get the superresolution imaging of targets. Two examples with homogeneous and inhomogeneous background mediums are considered, respectively. The results show that the proposed hybrid method has advantages in CPU time and memory cost because of the combination of rough and fine imaging.

文摘In recent years, it has shown that a generalized thresholding algorithm is useful for inverse problems with sparsity constraints. The generalized thresholding minimizes the non-convex p-norm based function with p < 1, and it penalizes small coefficients over a wider range meanwhile applies less bias to the larger coefficients.In this work, on the basis of two-level Bregman method with dictionary updating(TBMDU), we use the modified thresholding to minimize the non-convex function and propose the generalized TBMDU(GTBMDU) algorithm.The experimental results on magnetic resonance(MR) image simulations and real MR data, under a variety of sampling trajectories and acceleration factors, consistently demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can efficiently reconstruct the MR images and present advantages over the previous soft thresholding approaches.

文摘Aiming at the problem that the lattice feature exceeds the view field of the scanning electron microscope(SEM)measuring system,a new lattice measuring method is proposed based on integral imaging technology.When the system works,the SEM measuring system is equivalent to an integral image acquisition system.Firstly,a lattice measuring method is researched based on integral imaging theory.Secondly,the system parameters are calibrated by the VLSI lattice standard.Finally,the value of the lattice standard to be tested is determined based on the calibration parameters and the lattice measuring algorithm.The experimental results show that,compared with the traditional electron microscope measurement method,the relative error of the measured value of the algorithm is maintained within 0.2%,with the same level of measurement accuracy,but it expands the field of view of the electron microscope measurement system,which is suitable for the measurement of samples under high magnification.
文摘As dense seismic arrays at different scales are deployed,the techniques to make full use of array data with low computing cost become increasingly needed.The wave gradiometry method(WGM)is a new branch in seismic tomography,which utilizes the spatial gradients of the wavefield to determine the phase velocity,wave propagation direction,geometrical spreading,and radiation pattern.Seismic wave propagation parameters obtained using the WGM can be further applied to invert 3D velocity models,Q values,and anisotropy at lithospheric(crust and/or mantle)and smaller scales(e.g.,industrial oilfield or fault zone).Herein,we review the theoretical foundation,technical development,and major applications of the WGM,and compared the WGM with other commonly used major array imaging methods.Future development of the WGM is also discussed.
文摘The electrical performance of radomes on high-speed aircraft can be influenced by the thermal and mechanical loads produced during high-speed flight,which can affect the detection dis-tance and accuracy of the guidance system.This paper presents a new method that uses the Finite Difference Time Domain(FDTD)method to calculate the electrical performance of radomes under Thermo-Mechanical-Electrical(TME)coupling.This method can accurately characterize the effects of material dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation on the electrical performance of the radome under flight conditions,enabling high-precision full-wave calculations of the broadband electrical performance of the radome.The method initiates by utilizing a Finite Element Grid Model(FE-GM)of the radome to sequentially acquire the radome's response temperature field and structural deformation field through thermal and mechanical simulations.Subsequently,spatial mapping techniques are developed to accurately incorporate the dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation of the radome into its Yee grid Electromagnetic(EM)simulation model.A verification case was designed to test the proposed method,and the results confirmed its high computational accuracy.Additionally,the effectiveness and necessity of the method were further demonstrated by analyzing the electrical performance of a fused silica ceramic radome used on a high-speed aircraft.
