In this study, physical model experiments under unidirectional flow, bidirectional flow, and wave-current interactions with different flow directions around the pile group foundation were first conducted to investigate the development of scour around the pile group foundation.Additionally, a three-dimensional scour numerical model was established via the open-source software REEF3D to simulate the flow field and scour around the prototype-scale foundation. The impact of flow on scour was discussed.Under unidirectional flow, scour equilibrium was reached more quickly, with the maximum scour depth reaching approximately 1.2 times the pile diameter and the extent of the scour hole spanning about 4.9 times the pile diameter.Compared with those under unidirectional flow, the scour depths under combinations of currents and waves, as well as bidirectional flow, were slightly smaller. However, the morphology of scour holes was more uniform and symmetrical. 文摘Let T_(n) and S_(n) be the full transformation semigroup and the symmetric group on X_(n)={1,2,...,n},respectively.Let G be a transitiveimprimitive subgroupof S_(n) with nontrivial blocksΔand letαbe a transformation in T_(n)\S_(n).The kernel ofαis the partition of X_(n) induced by the equivalence relation{(x,y)|xα=yα};the kernel type ofαis the partition of n given by the sizes of the parts of the kernel.A transformation semigroup is called synchronizing if it contains a constant map. Then a group G synchronizes a transformationαif the semigroup(G,α)contains a constant map.In this paper,we study a transitive imprimitive permutation group G together with a non-invertible transformationαthat generate a synchronizing semigroup. We mainly discuss 7 cases where G synchronizes a special transformationαwith each kernel class A_(i)(A_(1)j)satisfying|A_(i)∩Δ|=1(|A_(1)j∩Δ|=1)for all blocksΔofG,that is,the kernel type ofαis(|A_(1)|,1,...,1),(|A_(1)1|,...,|A_(1m)|,|A_(2)|,...,|Ar|),or(|A_(1)|,...,|A_(t)|,1,...,1),or the rank is 2,3,4,or n-2.
文摘Background:Despite highly effective vaccines against SARS-CoV-2,COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy persisted in some populations in England during the pandemic, with rates and motivations for hesitancy varying by demographic group.Addressing the drivers of vaccine hesitancy through targeted interventions in hesitant groups is a public health priority for better and more rapid control of disease spread. We aimed to characterise the determinants and subtypes of vaccine hesitancy and identify more persistent forms of hesitancy via analysis of vaccine uptake in a large cross-sectional cohort with linked National Health Service(NHS)data.

文摘Objective:The incidence and mortality of colorectal carcinoma(CRC)continue to rise globally, highlighting the need to identify modifiable risk factors for early detection and prevention.Previous studies have demonstrated significant associations between CRC risk and various serum metabolites as well as inflammatory cytokines;however, due to limitations in study design and potential confounding factors, the causal relationships remain unclear. This study aims to investigate the causal relationships between inflammatory cytokines, serum metabolites, and CRC risk, providing a theoretical basis for the development of novel early diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Methods:A two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)design was applied using summary statistics from genome-wide association studies(GWAS).Instrumental variables(IVs)were derived from:1)metabolomics GWAS data of 1400 serum metabolites(n=8299);2)cytokine GWAS data of 91 inflammatory factors(n=14824);and 3)CRC risk data from the FinnGen consortium(6847 cases and 314193 controls). The primary analysis was conducted using the inverse-variance weighted(IVW)method, with sensitivity analyses performed using MR Egger regression and the weighted median method.Effect estimates including odds ratios(OR),95%confidence intervals(CI),and false discovery rates(FDR)were calculated. Results:MR analysis indicated that higher levels of axin-1(AXIN1)(OR=0.84195%CI 0.714 to 0.991)and Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand(Flt3L)(OR=0.916,95%CI 0.844 to 0.994)were associated with a reduced risk of CRC.In contrast, higher levels of Delta/Notchlike epidermal growth factor-related receptor(DNER)(OR=1.119,95%CI 1.009 to 1.241)and vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A)(OR=1.078,95%CI 1.011 to 1.150)were associated with an increased risk of CRC(all P<0.05).Metabolomics association analysis further identified 144 serum metabolites significantly correlated with these four key inflammatory cytokines(FDR<0.05),suggesting that they may regulate CRC risk through inflammatory pathways. Conclusion:Specific inflammatory cytokines and serum metabolites have causal relationships with the risk of CRC.These findings provide insights for further exploration of potential risk factors and the development of effective prevention strategies for CRC.

文摘Let G be a finite group and H a subgroup of G.The normal index of H in G is defined as the order of K/H_(G),where K is a normal supplement of H in G such that|K|is minimal and H_(G)≤K■G.Let p be a prime which divides the order of a group G.In this paper, some characterizations of G being p-solvable or p-supersolvable were obtained by analyzing the normal index of certain subgroups of G.These results can be viewed as local version of recent results in the literature.
文摘Object detection,a major challenge in computer vision and pattern recognition, plays a significant part in many applications, crossing artificial intelligence, face recognition, and autonomous driving. It involves focusing on identifying the detection, localization, and categorization of targets in images.A particularly important emerging task is distinguishing real animals from toy replicas in real-time,mostly for smart camera systems in both urban and natural environments. However, that difficult task is affected by factors such as showing angle, occlusion, light intensity, variations, and texture differences. To tackle these challenges, this paper recommends Group Sparse YOLOv8(You Only Look Once version 8),an improved real-time object detection algorithm that improves YOLOv8 by integrating group sparsity regularization. This adjustment improves efficiency and accuracy while utilizing the computational costs and power consumption, including a frame selection approach. And a hybrid parallel processing method that merges pipelining with dataflow strategies to improve the performance.Established using a custom dataset of toy and real animal images along with well-known datasets, namely ImageNet,MSCOCO,and CIFAR-10/100.The combination of Group Sparsity with YOLOv8 shows high detection accuracy with lower latency. Here provides a real and resource-efficient solution for intelligent camera systems and improves real-time object detection and classification in environments, differentiating between real and toy animals.

文摘In molybdenum chemistry, the oxidative addition of o-quinone or 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds to molybdenum has been widely used in Mo-catalyzed C—C bond construction. The carbonyl oxidative addition to Mo(0)or Mo(Ⅱ)is the critical elementary reaction of molybdenum catalysis. However, the relevant density functional theory(DFT)studies are relatively scarce, especially regarding the rational selection of functionals. In this work,14 functionals were employed to investigate the Mo-catalyzed carbonyl oxidative addition step.A benchmark study was carried out to evaluate their performance in structure optimization and energy calculation.Analyses of mean absolute error(MAE)and mean squared error(MSE)indicated that the B3LYP-D3(BJ),TPSSh,and ωB97X-D functionals exhibited superior performance in structure optimization.Using the DLPNO-CCSD(T)functional as the reference, the M06,M06-L,and MN15-L functionals exhibited good performance for energy calculation based on the structures optimized using the B3LYP-D3(BJ)functional.In particular,MN15-L provided the best performance with the smallest MAE and MSE.

文摘Photosynthesis of H_(2)O_(2)via sustainable biomass-derived carbon catalysts facilitate the conversion of renewable resources into valuable chemicals. However, the regulatory function of surface functional groups over reaction kinetics has not been sufficiently investigated.Herein, hydrothermal carbon spheres(CS)rich in oxygencontaining functional groups demonstrated a remarkably high H_(2)O_(2)production rate(653μmol/(g·h))in both pure water and actual seawater, even in the absence of any sacrificial agent.Meanwhile, the catalyst demonstrates outstanding activity(92%conversion and>99%selectivity)in the visible-light-driven photocatalytic oxidation of benzylamine to imines.Comprehensive analysis reveals that CS was rich in surface oxygen-containing functional groups,a feature strongly associated with its high photocatalytic efficiency. The observed positive Zeta potential of CS in seawater likely diminished the electrostatic repulsion against the positively charged intermediates, thereby facilitating their accumulation at the liquid-solid interface. This work proposes a strategic framework for developing metal-free photocatalysts from biomass, offering a sustainable pathway for photocatalytic applications.
