According to the report, ZTE is the most competitive telecom vendor in China, India, emerging Asia-Pacific market, Africa and Eastern Europe. ZTE tallied the highest score in four out of seven categories the Yankee Group used to measure the CDMA competitiveness of each vendor. From the viewpoint of strategic management, the author analyzes the strategic thinking of its entry into the aluminum industry; the strategic measures to build the company into the most competitive enterprise in this industry, and how to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. Representing the mental state of the partner lays the foundation for successful social interaction.While the representation of group members has been extensively studied,it is unclear how intergroup interactions affec...Representing the mental state of the partner lays the foundation for successful social interaction.While the representation of group members has been extensively studied,it is unclear how intergroup interactions affect it.In three experiments utilizing the joint flanker task,we found that competition between groups brought about a greater joint flanker effect(Experiment 1).Such phenomenon was not due to competition per se,as competition that occurred between individuals from different groups did not enhance the joint flanker effect(Experiment 2).Using the minimal grouping method to directly manipulate group entitativity,we found that the joint flanker effect was larger when participants perceived the group as being more closely connected;conversely,when they perceived the group as less close,the joint flanker effect was attenuated(Experiment 3).These results suggested that beliefs about the group may be key to how group competition enhanced the joint flanker effect.The potential cognitive mechanisms producing this phenomenon are fully discussed.Overall,our study is the first to explore the impact of intergroup interactions on the joint flanker effect and provides a new perspective on understanding the relationship between within-group representations and intergroup interactions.展开更多
This paper presents the mean–variance(MV)model to solve power system reactive power dispatch problems with wind power integrated.The MV model considers the profit and risk simultaneously under the uncertain wind powe...This paper presents the mean–variance(MV)model to solve power system reactive power dispatch problems with wind power integrated.The MV model considers the profit and risk simultaneously under the uncertain wind power(speed)environment.To describe this uncertain environment,the Latin hypercube sampling with Cholesky decomposition simulation method is used to sample uncertain wind speeds.An improved optimization algorithm,group search optimizer with intraspecific competition and le´vy walk,is then used to optimize the MV model by introducing the risk tolerance parameter.The simulation is conducted based on the IEEE 30-bus power system,and the results demonstrate the effectiveness and validity of the proposed model and the optimization algorithm.展开更多
