Characteristic of iron ore is the essential factor of granulating.Three ores,namely specularite,magnetite concentrate and limonite,were selected as adhesion powder to investigate granulating behavior and evolution pro...Characteristic of iron ore is the essential factor of granulating.Three ores,namely specularite,magnetite concentrate and limonite,were selected as adhesion powder to investigate granulating behavior and evolution process of agglomeration.Experiments and modeling were performed to represent granulating behavior on the basis of selectivity,ballability and adhesion rate.The mass fraction of water and particles size of adhesion and nucleation were set at(11±1)%,0-1 mm and 3-5 mm,respectively.Experimental results show that selectivity and ballability promote the evolution of granulation.The water absorption rate of specularite and the ballability of limonite are better.The coupling effects exist in two ores mixing and present positive effect when the proportion of magnetite concentrate is greater than that of specularite or specularite and limonite blend.During three ores mixing,the coupling effect presents a complex superposition state.A characterization model of adhesion rate of mixing granulation was established by random forest algorithms.Its output is adhesion rate,and its inputs include water absorption rate,balling index and mixing proportion.The model parameters are 957 trees and four branches,and the training and prediction errors of the model are 2.3%and 3.7%,respectively.Modeling indicates that the random forest model can be used to represent coupling effects of mixing granulation.展开更多
[Objective] The paper was to compare the effects of traditional granulating process and post-expanding lower temperature granulating process on starch gelatinization degree and in vitro protein digestibility of conver...[Objective] The paper was to compare the effects of traditional granulating process and post-expanding lower temperature granulating process on starch gelatinization degree and in vitro protein digestibility of conversation feed, and growth performance of piglets. [Method] Sixty weaned piglets, 25 days old, were randomly divided into two groups, six replicates each group, and each replicate contained five piglets. Piglets in control group were fed with the conversation feed developed by traditional granulating process, and those in experimental group were fed with the conservation feed developed by post-expanding lower temperature granulating process. The trial lasted 28 d. [Result] Compared to traditional granulating process, post-expanding lower temperature granulating process significantly enhanced starch gelatinization degree of conservation feed by56.9%(P〈0.05), and significantly improved in vitro protein digestibility of conservation feed by 11.48%(P〈0.05). Compared to the control group, the feed intake of piglets in experimental group was increased by 21.63%(P〈0.05); the average daily gain was increased by 27.61%(P〈0.05); the diarrhea rate was lowered; and the feed gain ratio was improved by 4.51%(P〉0.05). The results suggested that post-expanding lower temperature granulating process effectively enhanced feed digestion and absorption of piglets. [Conclusion] The paper provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for improvement of production process of conservation feed.展开更多
Pinelliae Rhizoma(PR),known as Banxia in Chinese,Hange in Japanese,and Banha in Korean,is a renowned herbal medicine in East Asia derived from the dry tuber of Pinellia ternata(Thunb.)Breit.(PT).It is extensively util...Pinelliae Rhizoma(PR),known as Banxia in Chinese,Hange in Japanese,and Banha in Korean,is a renowned herbal medicine in East Asia derived from the dry tuber of Pinellia ternata(Thunb.)Breit.(PT).It is extensively utilized in dispensing granules,classical prescriptions,and herbal formulas to treat various conditions,including cough,infection,phlegm,nausea,asthma,and inflammation.Despite numerous studies on PR and its classical prescriptions over recent decades,a comprehensive synthesis of available evidence regarding its multifunctional roles and therapeutic potential is lacking.This review aims to address this gap by examining emerging evidence from metabonomics,preclinical studies,and clinical trials,while exploring potential trends and prospects for future research.A systematic literature search was conducted across six electronic databases,including Pub Med,Web of Science,Scopus,Science Direct,Wanfang,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure,to identify relevant articles on PR published until March 2023.PR contains 107 compounds with diverse pharmacological activities,including anti-inflammatory,immune regulatory,anti-viral,anti-cancer,anti-asthma,antitussive and expectorant,antioxidant,anti-obesity,anti-atherosclerosis,antimicrobial,emetic and anti-emetic,anti-convulsant and anti-epileptic,sedative and hypnotic,learning and memory enhancement,and anti-depressant effects.Metabonomic studies suggest that raw PR may exhibit cardiotoxicity and pregnancy toxicity while showing no apparent hepatorenal toxicity.However,limited pharmacokinetic investigations on PR constrain its clinical translation.Furthermore,clinical safety data on PR is scarce,with only four clinical trials assessing its positive effects in pediatric epilepsy,nausea and vomiting,soft tissue injury,and chronic sinus tract.This review aims to enhance understanding of PR and provide valuable information and recommendations for further research and development of herbal medicine.展开更多
BACKGROUND Owing to the absence of specific symptoms in early-stage gastric cancer,most patients are diagnosed at intermediate or advanced stages.As a result,treatment often shifts from surgery to other therapies,with...BACKGROUND Owing to the absence of specific symptoms in early-stage gastric cancer,most patients are diagnosed at intermediate or advanced stages.As a result,treatment often shifts from surgery to other therapies,with chemotherapy and targeted therapies being the primary options for advanced gastric cancer treatment.A total of 116 patients with advanced gastric cancer,admitted from January 2021 to December 2023,were selected and divided into two groups of 58 each using the random number table method.The control group received FOLFOX4 chemothe-rapy(oxaliplatin+calcium+folinate+5-fluorouracil)combined with intravenous sindilizumab.The observation group received the same treatment as the control group,supplemented by oral administration of Senqi Shiyiwei granules.Both groups underwent treatment cycles of 3 weeks,with a minimum of two cycles.The therapeutic efficacy,immune mechanisms,and treatment-related toxicity and side effects were compared between the groups.The objective remission rate in the observation group(55.17%)was higher than that of the control group(36.21%)(P<0.05).After two treatment cycle,CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+levels were higher in the observation group compared to the control group,while CD8+,regulatory T cells,and natural killer cells were lower(P<0.05).Additionally,the incidence of leukopenia,nausea,and vomiting was lower in observed group(P<0.05).No significant differences were observed in the incidence of other adverse reactions(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Adjuvant therapy with Shenqixian granules may enhance the efficacy of simudizumab combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and the immune function by increasing immune cell counts,making it a valuable option in clinical treatment.展开更多
Osteosarcoma(OS)is the most frequent primary bone sarcomas with high recurrence and poor prognosis.Emerging evidence indicates that membraneless organelles stress granules(SGs),whose assemblies are driven by scaffold ...Osteosarcoma(OS)is the most frequent primary bone sarcomas with high recurrence and poor prognosis.Emerging evidence indicates that membraneless organelles stress granules(SGs),whose assemblies are driven by scaffold protein G3BP1,are extensively involved in tumor,especially in OS.However,how SGs behave and communicate with organelles,particularly nucleoli and mitochondria,during drug challenges remain unknown.This study revealed that chemotherapeutic drugs activated the cysteine protease asparagine endopeptidase(AEP)to specifically cleave the SG core protein G3BP1 at N258/N309 in OS and malignant glioma.tG3BP1-Ns modulated SG dynamics by competitively binding to full-length G3BP1.Strikingly,tG3BP1-Cs,containing a conserved RNA recognition motif CCUBSCUS,sequestered mRNAs of ribosomal proteins and oxidative phosphorylation genes in the nucleoli and mitochondria to repress translation and oxidative stress.Moreover,the inhibition of AEP promoted the tumor-suppressing effect of chemotherapeutic drugs,whereas AEP-cleaved G3BP1 rescue reversed the effect in both OS and glioma models.Cancerous tissues exhibited high levels of AEP and G3BP1 truncations,which were strongly associated with poor prognosis.展开更多
BACKGROUND Mesalamine is the recommended first-line treatment for inducing and maintaining remission in mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis(UC).However,adherence in real-world settings is frequently suboptimal.Encoura...BACKGROUND Mesalamine is the recommended first-line treatment for inducing and maintaining remission in mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis(UC).However,adherence in real-world settings is frequently suboptimal.Encouraging collaborative patient-provider relationships may foster better adherence and patient outcomes.AIM To quantify the association between patient participation in treatment decisionmaking and adherence to oral mesalamine in UC.METHODS We conducted a 12-month,prospective,non-interventional cohort study at 113 gastroenterology practices in Germany.Eligible patients were aged≥18 years,had a confirmed UC diagnosis,had no prior mesalamine treatment,and provided informed consent.At the first visit,we collected data on demographics,clinical characteristics,patient preference for mesalamine formulation(tablets or granules),and disease knowledge.Self-reported adherence and disease activity were assessed at all visits.Correlation analyses and logistic regression were used to examine associations between adherence and various factors.RESULTS Of the 605 consecutively screened patients,520 were included in the study.The median age was 41 years(range:18-91),with a male-to-female ratio of 1.1:1.0.Approximately 75%of patients reported good adherence at each study visit.In correlation analyses,patient participation in treatment decision-making was significantly associated with better adherence across all visits(P=0.04).In the regression analysis at 12 months,this association was evident among patients who both preferred and received prolonged-release mesalamine granules(odds ratio=2.73,P=0.001).Patients reporting good adherence also experienced significant improvements in disease activity over 12 months(P<0.001).CONCLUSION Facilitating patient participation in treatment decisions and accommodating medication preferences may improve adherence to mesalamine.This may require additional effort but has the potential to improve long-term management of UC.展开更多
BACKGROUND Prediabetes mellitus(PDM)is receiving increasing attention as a precursor to type 2 diabetes mellitus.Lifestyle and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)inter-ventions are effective for PDM prevention and treat...BACKGROUND Prediabetes mellitus(PDM)is receiving increasing attention as a precursor to type 2 diabetes mellitus.Lifestyle and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)inter-ventions are effective for PDM prevention and treatment.Therefore,we con-ducted a preliminary investigation and an exploratory randomised controlled trial to assess the effects of a combined lifestyle and TCM intervention on PDM indicators.AIM To study the effectiveness of Xiaokeqing granules(XQG)and lifestyle inter-ventions in PDM participants while using metabolomics to identify potential markers.METHODS Forty PDM participants with yin deficiency syndrome with excessive heat were recruited and randomly allocated to the control(Con)group or the XQG group(20 per group).The Con group underwent lifestyle interventions,whereas the XQG group underwent lifestyle and XQG interventions.The follow-up duration was 2 months.Fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial glucose(2hPG),gly-cated haemoglobin A1c,fasting insulin,homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance levels,and serum metabolomics characteristics were compared via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis.RESULTS There were significant differences in 2hPG between the two groups(P<0.05)in the intention-to-treat analysis and per-protocol analysis.The intervention method used in this study was safe(P>0.05).Groenlandicine,kaempferol,isomangiferin,etc.,are the XQG constituents absorbed in the blood.N-Nervonoyl methionine and 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan are core potential metabolomic biomarkers for the effectiveness of XQG and lifestyle interventions.HTR1A,HTR2C,SLC6A4,etc.,are the core targets of XQG and lifestyle interventions,as well as the reason for their clinical efficacy.Possible mechanistic pathways include tryptophan metabolism,pantothenate and certificate of analysis biosynthesis,lysine degradation and biosynthesis of cofactors.CONCLUSION This pilot study provides evidence that a combined XQG and lifestyle intervention can improve 2hPG in par-ticipants with PDM.The mechanism of action is related to multiple constituents,targets and pathways.展开更多
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Naomaili granules in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.Methods:Eighty-eight patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with ...Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Naomaili granules in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.Methods:Eighty-eight patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 44 patients in each group.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment,while the treatment group was additionally administered Naomaili granules at 10g per time,3 times per day,for 20 days.Neurological function(NIHSS),activities of daily living(BI),inflammatory factors(hs-CRP,IL-6)levels,and adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment.Results:After 20 days of treatment,the NIHSS score of the treatment group decreased from(9.20±2.10)to(5.12±1.30),the BI index increased from(52.30±8.50)to(78.60±9.20),and hs-CRP and IL-6 decreased to(3.12±1.10)mg/L and(18.20±4.20)pg/mL,respectively,all significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 4.55%,lower than the 15.91%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Naomaili granules can improve neurological function and living ability,reduce inflammatory response,and have good safety in patients with acute ischemic stroke.展开更多

Applying domain knowledge in fuzzy clustering algorithms continuously promotes the development of clustering technology.The combination of domain knowledge and fuzzy clustering algorithms has some problems,such as ini...Applying domain knowledge in fuzzy clustering algorithms continuously promotes the development of clustering technology.The combination of domain knowledge and fuzzy clustering algorithms has some problems,such as initialization sensitivity and information granule weight optimization.Therefore,we propose a weighted kernel fuzzy clustering algorithm based on a relative density view(RDVWKFC).Compared with the traditional density-based methods,RDVWKFC can capture the intrinsic structure of the data more accurately,thus improving the initial quality of the clustering.By introducing a Relative Density based Knowledge Extraction Method(RDKM)and adaptive weight optimization mechanism,we effectively solve the limitations of view initialization and information granule weight optimization.RDKM can accurately identify high-density regions and optimize the initialization process.The adaptive weight mechanism can reduce noise and outliers’interference in the initial cluster centre selection by dynamically allocating weights.Experimental results on 14 benchmark datasets show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing algorithms in terms of clustering accuracy,stability,and convergence speed.It shows adaptability and robustness,especially when dealing with different data distributions and noise interference.Moreover,RDVWKFC can also show significant advantages when dealing with data with complex structures and high-dimensional features.These advancements provide versatile tools for real-world applications such as bioinformatics,image segmentation,and anomaly detection.展开更多
BACKGROUND Current disinfection methods for gastrointestinal endoscopes consume a significant amount of water resources and produce a large volume of waste.AIM To achieve the objectives of efficiency,speed,and cost-ef...BACKGROUND Current disinfection methods for gastrointestinal endoscopes consume a significant amount of water resources and produce a large volume of waste.AIM To achieve the objectives of efficiency,speed,and cost-effectiveness,this study utilized vaporized hydrogen peroxide(VHP)generated from sodium percarbonate granules to conduct an anhydrous disinfection test on gastrointestinal endoscopes.METHODS The experimental device rapidly converts sodium percarbonate granules into VHP,and performs disinfection experiments on gastrointestinal endoscope models,disposable endoscopes,and various types of reusable gastrointestinal endoscopes.Variables such as the intraluminal flow rate(FR),relative humidity(RH),exposure dosage,and organic burden are used to explore the factors influencing the disinfection of long and narrow lumens with VHP.RESULTS The device generates a certain concentration of VHP that can achieve high-level disinfection of endoscope models within 30 minutes.RH,exposure dosage,and organic burden significantly affect the disinfection efficacy of VHP,whereas the intraluminal FR does not significantly impact disinfection efficacy.All ten artificially contaminated disposable endoscopes achieved satisfactory disinfection results.Furthermore,when this device was used to treat various types of reusable endoscopes,the disinfection and sterilization effects were not significantly different from those of automatic endoscope disinfection machines(using peracetic acid disinfectant solution)(P>0.05),and the economic cost of disinfectant required per endoscope was lower(1.5 China Yuan),with a shorter disinfection time(30 minutes).CONCLUSION The methods and results of this study provide a basis for further research on the use of VHP for the disinfection of gastrointestinal endoscopes,as well as for the development of anhydrous disinfection technology for gastrointestinal endoscopes.展开更多
Low-carbon alkali-activated slag(AAS)is among the most common alkali-activated materials(AAMs).To further lower CO_(2) emissions and optimize the material system,we proposed a scheme of using phosphorous slag(PS)to su...Low-carbon alkali-activated slag(AAS)is among the most common alkali-activated materials(AAMs).To further lower CO_(2) emissions and optimize the material system,we proposed a scheme of using phosphorous slag(PS)to substitute ground granulated blast-furnace slag(GGBS)in sodium carbonate(NC)activated slag system.we conducted a systematic study on the mechanical properties of the NC-activated slag/PS blends at normal temperature and examined the influences of different substitution amounts of phosphorus slag and NC equivalents on the performance of the material system.The hydration process was analyzed using hydration flow and chemical shrinkage.The hydration products were characterized via XRD and TGA.Moreover,the pore structure and pH value were also analyzed.When the substitution dosage of PS was not greater than 30%,the 3 d compressive strength of the systems was improved to a certain degree.However,in the medium and later periods,the compressive strength of the systems was slightly lower than that of the control group.The 90 d compressive strength of the control group 4SC-0% was 47.6 MPa,which was 4.0 MPa lower than the 28 d one of itself,presenting a strength retrogression phenomenon,while all the test groups demonstrated a continuous growth law.When the substitution dosage of PS was not more than 30%,the hydration reaction of the AAS system was facilitated,whereas when the substitution amount was 50%,the hydration of the system was conspicuously slowed down.The incorporation of phosphorous slag was capable of enhancing the volume stability of the material system.The hydration products of this system were likely to be manasseite,calcite,and C-S-(A)-H.When the incorporation amount of phosphorous slag increased,the quantity of the hydration products reduced,which might result in the generation of C-N-S-A-H.The study proposed the methodology for designing weak base-activated slag/PS.展开更多
The dentate gyrus of the hippocampus is a plastic structure that displays modifications at different levels in response to positive stimuli as well as to negative conditions such as brain damage.The latter involves gl...The dentate gyrus of the hippocampus is a plastic structure that displays modifications at different levels in response to positive stimuli as well as to negative conditions such as brain damage.The latter involves global alterations,making understanding plastic responses triggered by local damage difficult.One key feature of the dentate gyrus is that it contains a well-defined neurogenic niche,the subgranular zone,and beyond neurogenesis,newly born granule cells may maintain a“young”phenotype throughout life,adding to the plastic nature of the structure.Here,we present a novel experimental model of local brain damage in organotypic entorhino-hippocampal cultures that results in the activation of adjacent newly born granule cells.A small piece of filter paper was placed on the surface of the granule cell layer of the dentate gyrus,which evoked a foreign body reaction of astrocytes,along with the activation of local young neurons expressing doublecortin.Forty-eight hours after foreign body placement,the number of doublecortin-immunoreactive cells increased in the subgranular zone in the direct vicinity of the foreign body,whereas overall increased doublecortin immunoreactivity was observed in the granule cell layer and molecular layer of the dentate gyrus.Foreign body placement in the pyramidal layer of the CA1 region evoked a comparable local astroglial reaction but did not lead to an increase in doublecortin-immunoreactive in either the CA1 region or the adjacent dentate gyrus.Seven days after foreign body placement in the dentate gyrus,the increase in doublecortin-immunoreactivity was no longer observed,indicating the transient activation of young cells.However,7 days after foreign body placement,the number of doublecortin-immunoreactive granule cells coimmunoreactive for calbindin was lower than that under the control conditions.As calbindin is a marker for mature granule cells,this result suggests that activated young cells remain at a more immature stage following foreign body placement.Live imaging of retrovirally green fluorescent protein-labeled newly born granule cells revealed the orientation and growth of their dendrites toward the foreign body placement.This novel experimental model of foreign body placement in organotypic entorhino-hippocampal cultures could serve as a valuable tool for studying both glial reactivity and neuronal plasticity,specifically of newly born neurons under controlled in vitro conditions.展开更多
Background:Fufang Muji Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine of the Manchu ethnic group and is thought to treat hepatitis and liver injury by inhibiting the elevation of alpha-fetoprotein.Methods:In this investig...Background:Fufang Muji Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine of the Manchu ethnic group and is thought to treat hepatitis and liver injury by inhibiting the elevation of alpha-fetoprotein.Methods:In this investigation,tandem mass tag(TMT)-based quantitative proteomics was performed to figure out the therapeutic mechanisms of Fufang Muji Granules on liver injury caused by carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4))in rats.Results:Biochemical analyses(alanine aminotransferase;glutamate aminotransferase;aspartate aminotransferase)and histologic analyses(hematoxylin-eosin)demonstrated that FMG was effective in ameliorating liver injury.A sum of 6,208 proteins were identified and 2,475 proteins were determined as differential abundance proteins(DAPs)in rat liver treated with Fufang Muji Granules which compared to the model group.Bioinformatics analysis indicated that the DAPs are primarily enriched in multiple pathways such as rno00280(valine,leucine,and isoleucine degradation),rno00640(Propanoate metabolism),and rno00380(Tryptophan metabolism).Western blot was employed to validate the findings from the proteomic analysis.Conclusion:This study not only provides useful information on the mechanism of Fufang Muji Granules in the treatment of liver injury but also serves as a basis for further study of Fufang Muji Granules in vivo.展开更多
Ferrite-rich calcium sulfoaluminate(FCSA)cement is often used in special projects such as marine engineering due to its excellent resistance of seawater attack although the cost is a little high.Ground granulated blas...Ferrite-rich calcium sulfoaluminate(FCSA)cement is often used in special projects such as marine engineering due to its excellent resistance of seawater attack although the cost is a little high.Ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS),a byproduct of industrial production,is used as a mineral admixture to reduce concrete costs and provide excellent performance.This study aimed to investigate the impact of GGBS on the hydration properties of FCSA cement in seawater.Tests were conducted on heat of hydration,compressive strength,mass change,and pH value of pore solution of FCSA cement paste with a water-to-binder ratio of 0.45.X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis and thermogravimetric analysis were used to determine the hydration products,while mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)was used to measure pore structure.The results indicated that the FCSA cement hydration showed a concentrated heat release at early age.The compressive strength of specimens consistently increased over time,where seawater curing enhanced the compressive strength of control samples.The pH value of pore solution decreased to 10.7−10.9 at 90 d when cured in seawater.The primary hydration products of FCSA cement included ettringite,iron hydroxide gel(FH_(3)),and aluminum hydroxide gel(AH_(3)).Moreover,when cured in seawater,Friedel’s salt was formed,which enhanced the compressive strength of the specimen and increased its coefficient of corrosion.Seawater curing gradually increased sample mass,and GGBS refined pore structure while reducing harmful pore proportions.These results suggest that while GGBS can refine pore structure and improve certain aspects of performance,its inclusion may also reduce compressive strength,highlighting the need for a balanced approach in its use for marine applications.展开更多
With the rapid development of economy,air pollution caused by industrial expansion has caused serious harm to human health and social development.Therefore,establishing an effective air pollution concentration predict...With the rapid development of economy,air pollution caused by industrial expansion has caused serious harm to human health and social development.Therefore,establishing an effective air pollution concentration prediction system is of great scientific and practical significance for accurate and reliable predictions.This paper proposes a combination of pointinterval prediction system for pollutant concentration prediction by leveraging neural network,meta-heuristic optimization algorithm,and fuzzy theory.Fuzzy information granulation technology is used in data preprocessing to transform numerical sequences into fuzzy particles for comprehensive feature extraction.The golden Jackal optimization algorithm is employed in the optimization stage to fine-tune model hyperparameters.In the prediction stage,an ensemble learning method combines training results frommultiplemodels to obtain final point predictions while also utilizing quantile regression and kernel density estimation methods for interval predictions on the test set.Experimental results demonstrate that the combined model achieves a high goodness of fit coefficient of determination(R^(2))at 99.3% and a maximum difference between prediction accuracy mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and benchmark model at 12.6%.This suggests that the integrated learning system proposed in this paper can provide more accurate deterministic predictions as well as reliable uncertainty analysis compared to traditionalmodels,offering practical reference for air quality early warning.展开更多
Leachate sludge,a byproduct of municipal solid waste leachate treated through biochemical processes,is characterized by high water content(761.1%)and significant organic matter content(71.2%).Cement that is commonly u...Leachate sludge,a byproduct of municipal solid waste leachate treated through biochemical processes,is characterized by high water content(761.1%)and significant organic matter content(71.2%).Cement that is commonly used for solidifying leachate sludge has shown limited effectiveness.To address this issue,an alkali-activated ground-granulated blast-furnace slag(GGBS)geopolymer blended with polypropylene fibers was developed to solidify leachate sludge.Moreover,unconfined compressive strength(UCS),immersion,as well as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and scanning electron microscope(SEM)tests were conducted to investigate the solidification effect and mechanism of the GGBS-based geopolymer and fibers on leachate sludge.The results showed that:the 28-d UCS of the solidified sludge with 20%and 30%GGBS is 0.35 MPa and 1.85 MPa,and decreases to 0.18 MPa and 1.13 MPa,respectively,after soaked in water for 28 d.Notably,the UCS of the solidified sludge with 30%GGBS satisfied the strength requirement of roadbed materials.Polypropylene fibers significantly enhanced the strength,ductility and water stability of the solidified sludge,with an optimal fiber content of 0.3%.Alkali-activated GGBS geopolymer generated three-dimensional,cross-linked geopolymeric gels within the solidified sludge,cementing sludge particles and filling intergranular pores to form a stable cementitious structure,thereby achieving effective solidification.Furthermore,incorporating polypropylene fibers improved the bonding and anchoring effect between fiber and solidified sludge,constrained lateral deformation of the solidified sludge,restricted crack propagation,and enhanced engineering performance of the solidified leachate sludge.展开更多
Semantic segmentation provides important technical support for Land cover/land use(LCLU)research.By calculating the cosine similarity between feature vectors,transformer-based models can effectively capture the global...Semantic segmentation provides important technical support for Land cover/land use(LCLU)research.By calculating the cosine similarity between feature vectors,transformer-based models can effectively capture the global information of high-resolution remote sensing images.However,the diversity of detailed and edge features within the same class of ground objects in high-resolution remote sensing images leads to a dispersed embedding distribution.The dispersed feature distribution enlarges feature vector angles and reduces cosine similarity,weakening the attention mechanism’s ability to identify the same class of ground objects.To address this challenge,remote sensing image information granulation transformer for semantic segmentation is proposed.The model employs adaptive granulation to extract common semantic features among objects of the same class,constructing an information granule to replace the detailed feature representation of these objects.Then,the Laplacian operator of the information granule is applied to extract the edge features of the object as represented by the information granule.In the experiments,the proposed model was validated on the Beijing Land-Use(BLU),Gaofen Image Dataset(GID),and Potsdam Dataset(PD).In particular,the model achieves 88.81%for mOA,82.64%for mF1,and 71.50%for mIoU metrics on the GID dataset.Experimental results show that the model effectively handles high-resolution remote sensing images.Our code is available at https://github.com/sjmp525/RSIGT(accessed on 16 April 2025).展开更多

文摘Decision implication is a form of decision knowledge represen-tation,which is able to avoid generating attribute implications that occur between condition attributes and between decision attributes.Compared with other forms of decision knowledge representation,decision implication has a stronger knowledge representation capability.Attribute granularization may facilitate the knowledge extraction of different attribute granularity layers and thus is of application significance.Decision implication canonical basis(DICB)is the most compact set of decision implications,which can efficiently represent all knowledge in the decision context.In order to mine all deci-sion information on decision context under attribute granulating,this paper proposes an updated method of DICB.To this end,the paper reduces the update of DICB to the updates of decision premises after deleting an attribute and after adding granulation attributes of some attributes.Based on this,the paper analyzes the changes of decision premises,examines the properties of decision premises,designs an algorithm for incrementally generating DICB,and verifies its effectiveness through experiments.In real life,by using the updated algorithm of DICB,users may obtain all decision knowledge on decision context after attribute granularization.

文摘Characteristic of iron ore is the essential factor of granulating.Three ores,namely specularite,magnetite concentrate and limonite,were selected as adhesion powder to investigate granulating behavior and evolution process of agglomeration.Experiments and modeling were performed to represent granulating behavior on the basis of selectivity,ballability and adhesion rate.The mass fraction of water and particles size of adhesion and nucleation were set at(11±1)%,0-1 mm and 3-5 mm,respectively.Experimental results show that selectivity and ballability promote the evolution of granulation.The water absorption rate of specularite and the ballability of limonite are better.The coupling effects exist in two ores mixing and present positive effect when the proportion of magnetite concentrate is greater than that of specularite or specularite and limonite blend.During three ores mixing,the coupling effect presents a complex superposition state.A characterization model of adhesion rate of mixing granulation was established by random forest algorithms.Its output is adhesion rate,and its inputs include water absorption rate,balling index and mixing proportion.The model parameters are 957 trees and four branches,and the training and prediction errors of the model are 2.3%and 3.7%,respectively.Modeling indicates that the random forest model can be used to represent coupling effects of mixing granulation.

文摘[Objective] The paper was to compare the effects of traditional granulating process and post-expanding lower temperature granulating process on starch gelatinization degree and in vitro protein digestibility of conversation feed, and growth performance of piglets. [Method] Sixty weaned piglets, 25 days old, were randomly divided into two groups, six replicates each group, and each replicate contained five piglets. Piglets in control group were fed with the conversation feed developed by traditional granulating process, and those in experimental group were fed with the conservation feed developed by post-expanding lower temperature granulating process. The trial lasted 28 d. [Result] Compared to traditional granulating process, post-expanding lower temperature granulating process significantly enhanced starch gelatinization degree of conservation feed by56.9%(P〈0.05), and significantly improved in vitro protein digestibility of conservation feed by 11.48%(P〈0.05). Compared to the control group, the feed intake of piglets in experimental group was increased by 21.63%(P〈0.05); the average daily gain was increased by 27.61%(P〈0.05); the diarrhea rate was lowered; and the feed gain ratio was improved by 4.51%(P〉0.05). The results suggested that post-expanding lower temperature granulating process effectively enhanced feed digestion and absorption of piglets. [Conclusion] The paper provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for improvement of production process of conservation feed.

文摘Pinelliae Rhizoma(PR),known as Banxia in Chinese,Hange in Japanese,and Banha in Korean,is a renowned herbal medicine in East Asia derived from the dry tuber of Pinellia ternata(Thunb.)Breit.(PT).It is extensively utilized in dispensing granules,classical prescriptions,and herbal formulas to treat various conditions,including cough,infection,phlegm,nausea,asthma,and inflammation.Despite numerous studies on PR and its classical prescriptions over recent decades,a comprehensive synthesis of available evidence regarding its multifunctional roles and therapeutic potential is lacking.This review aims to address this gap by examining emerging evidence from metabonomics,preclinical studies,and clinical trials,while exploring potential trends and prospects for future research.A systematic literature search was conducted across six electronic databases,including Pub Med,Web of Science,Scopus,Science Direct,Wanfang,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure,to identify relevant articles on PR published until March 2023.PR contains 107 compounds with diverse pharmacological activities,including anti-inflammatory,immune regulatory,anti-viral,anti-cancer,anti-asthma,antitussive and expectorant,antioxidant,anti-obesity,anti-atherosclerosis,antimicrobial,emetic and anti-emetic,anti-convulsant and anti-epileptic,sedative and hypnotic,learning and memory enhancement,and anti-depressant effects.Metabonomic studies suggest that raw PR may exhibit cardiotoxicity and pregnancy toxicity while showing no apparent hepatorenal toxicity.However,limited pharmacokinetic investigations on PR constrain its clinical translation.Furthermore,clinical safety data on PR is scarce,with only four clinical trials assessing its positive effects in pediatric epilepsy,nausea and vomiting,soft tissue injury,and chronic sinus tract.This review aims to enhance understanding of PR and provide valuable information and recommendations for further research and development of herbal medicine.
文摘BACKGROUND Owing to the absence of specific symptoms in early-stage gastric cancer,most patients are diagnosed at intermediate or advanced stages.As a result,treatment often shifts from surgery to other therapies,with chemotherapy and targeted therapies being the primary options for advanced gastric cancer treatment.A total of 116 patients with advanced gastric cancer,admitted from January 2021 to December 2023,were selected and divided into two groups of 58 each using the random number table method.The control group received FOLFOX4 chemothe-rapy(oxaliplatin+calcium+folinate+5-fluorouracil)combined with intravenous sindilizumab.The observation group received the same treatment as the control group,supplemented by oral administration of Senqi Shiyiwei granules.Both groups underwent treatment cycles of 3 weeks,with a minimum of two cycles.The therapeutic efficacy,immune mechanisms,and treatment-related toxicity and side effects were compared between the groups.The objective remission rate in the observation group(55.17%)was higher than that of the control group(36.21%)(P<0.05).After two treatment cycle,CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+levels were higher in the observation group compared to the control group,while CD8+,regulatory T cells,and natural killer cells were lower(P<0.05).Additionally,the incidence of leukopenia,nausea,and vomiting was lower in observed group(P<0.05).No significant differences were observed in the incidence of other adverse reactions(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Adjuvant therapy with Shenqixian granules may enhance the efficacy of simudizumab combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and the immune function by increasing immune cell counts,making it a valuable option in clinical treatment.

文摘Osteosarcoma(OS)is the most frequent primary bone sarcomas with high recurrence and poor prognosis.Emerging evidence indicates that membraneless organelles stress granules(SGs),whose assemblies are driven by scaffold protein G3BP1,are extensively involved in tumor,especially in OS.However,how SGs behave and communicate with organelles,particularly nucleoli and mitochondria,during drug challenges remain unknown.This study revealed that chemotherapeutic drugs activated the cysteine protease asparagine endopeptidase(AEP)to specifically cleave the SG core protein G3BP1 at N258/N309 in OS and malignant glioma.tG3BP1-Ns modulated SG dynamics by competitively binding to full-length G3BP1.Strikingly,tG3BP1-Cs,containing a conserved RNA recognition motif CCUBSCUS,sequestered mRNAs of ribosomal proteins and oxidative phosphorylation genes in the nucleoli and mitochondria to repress translation and oxidative stress.Moreover,the inhibition of AEP promoted the tumor-suppressing effect of chemotherapeutic drugs,whereas AEP-cleaved G3BP1 rescue reversed the effect in both OS and glioma models.Cancerous tissues exhibited high levels of AEP and G3BP1 truncations,which were strongly associated with poor prognosis.
文摘BACKGROUND Mesalamine is the recommended first-line treatment for inducing and maintaining remission in mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis(UC).However,adherence in real-world settings is frequently suboptimal.Encouraging collaborative patient-provider relationships may foster better adherence and patient outcomes.AIM To quantify the association between patient participation in treatment decisionmaking and adherence to oral mesalamine in UC.METHODS We conducted a 12-month,prospective,non-interventional cohort study at 113 gastroenterology practices in Germany.Eligible patients were aged≥18 years,had a confirmed UC diagnosis,had no prior mesalamine treatment,and provided informed consent.At the first visit,we collected data on demographics,clinical characteristics,patient preference for mesalamine formulation(tablets or granules),and disease knowledge.Self-reported adherence and disease activity were assessed at all visits.Correlation analyses and logistic regression were used to examine associations between adherence and various factors.RESULTS Of the 605 consecutively screened patients,520 were included in the study.The median age was 41 years(range:18-91),with a male-to-female ratio of 1.1:1.0.Approximately 75%of patients reported good adherence at each study visit.In correlation analyses,patient participation in treatment decision-making was significantly associated with better adherence across all visits(P=0.04).In the regression analysis at 12 months,this association was evident among patients who both preferred and received prolonged-release mesalamine granules(odds ratio=2.73,P=0.001).Patients reporting good adherence also experienced significant improvements in disease activity over 12 months(P<0.001).CONCLUSION Facilitating patient participation in treatment decisions and accommodating medication preferences may improve adherence to mesalamine.This may require additional effort but has the potential to improve long-term management of UC.

文摘BACKGROUND Prediabetes mellitus(PDM)is receiving increasing attention as a precursor to type 2 diabetes mellitus.Lifestyle and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)inter-ventions are effective for PDM prevention and treatment.Therefore,we con-ducted a preliminary investigation and an exploratory randomised controlled trial to assess the effects of a combined lifestyle and TCM intervention on PDM indicators.AIM To study the effectiveness of Xiaokeqing granules(XQG)and lifestyle inter-ventions in PDM participants while using metabolomics to identify potential markers.METHODS Forty PDM participants with yin deficiency syndrome with excessive heat were recruited and randomly allocated to the control(Con)group or the XQG group(20 per group).The Con group underwent lifestyle interventions,whereas the XQG group underwent lifestyle and XQG interventions.The follow-up duration was 2 months.Fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial glucose(2hPG),gly-cated haemoglobin A1c,fasting insulin,homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance levels,and serum metabolomics characteristics were compared via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis.RESULTS There were significant differences in 2hPG between the two groups(P<0.05)in the intention-to-treat analysis and per-protocol analysis.The intervention method used in this study was safe(P>0.05).Groenlandicine,kaempferol,isomangiferin,etc.,are the XQG constituents absorbed in the blood.N-Nervonoyl methionine and 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan are core potential metabolomic biomarkers for the effectiveness of XQG and lifestyle interventions.HTR1A,HTR2C,SLC6A4,etc.,are the core targets of XQG and lifestyle interventions,as well as the reason for their clinical efficacy.Possible mechanistic pathways include tryptophan metabolism,pantothenate and certificate of analysis biosynthesis,lysine degradation and biosynthesis of cofactors.CONCLUSION This pilot study provides evidence that a combined XQG and lifestyle intervention can improve 2hPG in par-ticipants with PDM.The mechanism of action is related to multiple constituents,targets and pathways.
文摘Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Naomaili granules in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.Methods:Eighty-eight patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 44 patients in each group.The control group received conventional Western medicine treatment,while the treatment group was additionally administered Naomaili granules at 10g per time,3 times per day,for 20 days.Neurological function(NIHSS),activities of daily living(BI),inflammatory factors(hs-CRP,IL-6)levels,and adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment.Results:After 20 days of treatment,the NIHSS score of the treatment group decreased from(9.20±2.10)to(5.12±1.30),the BI index increased from(52.30±8.50)to(78.60±9.20),and hs-CRP and IL-6 decreased to(3.12±1.10)mg/L and(18.20±4.20)pg/mL,respectively,all significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 4.55%,lower than the 15.91%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Naomaili granules can improve neurological function and living ability,reduce inflammatory response,and have good safety in patients with acute ischemic stroke.

文摘Applying domain knowledge in fuzzy clustering algorithms continuously promotes the development of clustering technology.The combination of domain knowledge and fuzzy clustering algorithms has some problems,such as initialization sensitivity and information granule weight optimization.Therefore,we propose a weighted kernel fuzzy clustering algorithm based on a relative density view(RDVWKFC).Compared with the traditional density-based methods,RDVWKFC can capture the intrinsic structure of the data more accurately,thus improving the initial quality of the clustering.By introducing a Relative Density based Knowledge Extraction Method(RDKM)and adaptive weight optimization mechanism,we effectively solve the limitations of view initialization and information granule weight optimization.RDKM can accurately identify high-density regions and optimize the initialization process.The adaptive weight mechanism can reduce noise and outliers’interference in the initial cluster centre selection by dynamically allocating weights.Experimental results on 14 benchmark datasets show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing algorithms in terms of clustering accuracy,stability,and convergence speed.It shows adaptability and robustness,especially when dealing with different data distributions and noise interference.Moreover,RDVWKFC can also show significant advantages when dealing with data with complex structures and high-dimensional features.These advancements provide versatile tools for real-world applications such as bioinformatics,image segmentation,and anomaly detection.

文摘BACKGROUND Current disinfection methods for gastrointestinal endoscopes consume a significant amount of water resources and produce a large volume of waste.AIM To achieve the objectives of efficiency,speed,and cost-effectiveness,this study utilized vaporized hydrogen peroxide(VHP)generated from sodium percarbonate granules to conduct an anhydrous disinfection test on gastrointestinal endoscopes.METHODS The experimental device rapidly converts sodium percarbonate granules into VHP,and performs disinfection experiments on gastrointestinal endoscope models,disposable endoscopes,and various types of reusable gastrointestinal endoscopes.Variables such as the intraluminal flow rate(FR),relative humidity(RH),exposure dosage,and organic burden are used to explore the factors influencing the disinfection of long and narrow lumens with VHP.RESULTS The device generates a certain concentration of VHP that can achieve high-level disinfection of endoscope models within 30 minutes.RH,exposure dosage,and organic burden significantly affect the disinfection efficacy of VHP,whereas the intraluminal FR does not significantly impact disinfection efficacy.All ten artificially contaminated disposable endoscopes achieved satisfactory disinfection results.Furthermore,when this device was used to treat various types of reusable endoscopes,the disinfection and sterilization effects were not significantly different from those of automatic endoscope disinfection machines(using peracetic acid disinfectant solution)(P>0.05),and the economic cost of disinfectant required per endoscope was lower(1.5 China Yuan),with a shorter disinfection time(30 minutes).CONCLUSION The methods and results of this study provide a basis for further research on the use of VHP for the disinfection of gastrointestinal endoscopes,as well as for the development of anhydrous disinfection technology for gastrointestinal endoscopes.

文摘Low-carbon alkali-activated slag(AAS)is among the most common alkali-activated materials(AAMs).To further lower CO_(2) emissions and optimize the material system,we proposed a scheme of using phosphorous slag(PS)to substitute ground granulated blast-furnace slag(GGBS)in sodium carbonate(NC)activated slag system.we conducted a systematic study on the mechanical properties of the NC-activated slag/PS blends at normal temperature and examined the influences of different substitution amounts of phosphorus slag and NC equivalents on the performance of the material system.The hydration process was analyzed using hydration flow and chemical shrinkage.The hydration products were characterized via XRD and TGA.Moreover,the pore structure and pH value were also analyzed.When the substitution dosage of PS was not greater than 30%,the 3 d compressive strength of the systems was improved to a certain degree.However,in the medium and later periods,the compressive strength of the systems was slightly lower than that of the control group.The 90 d compressive strength of the control group 4SC-0% was 47.6 MPa,which was 4.0 MPa lower than the 28 d one of itself,presenting a strength retrogression phenomenon,while all the test groups demonstrated a continuous growth law.When the substitution dosage of PS was not more than 30%,the hydration reaction of the AAS system was facilitated,whereas when the substitution amount was 50%,the hydration of the system was conspicuously slowed down.The incorporation of phosphorous slag was capable of enhancing the volume stability of the material system.The hydration products of this system were likely to be manasseite,calcite,and C-S-(A)-H.When the incorporation amount of phosphorous slag increased,the quantity of the hydration products reduced,which might result in the generation of C-N-S-A-H.The study proposed the methodology for designing weak base-activated slag/PS.

文摘The dentate gyrus of the hippocampus is a plastic structure that displays modifications at different levels in response to positive stimuli as well as to negative conditions such as brain damage.The latter involves global alterations,making understanding plastic responses triggered by local damage difficult.One key feature of the dentate gyrus is that it contains a well-defined neurogenic niche,the subgranular zone,and beyond neurogenesis,newly born granule cells may maintain a“young”phenotype throughout life,adding to the plastic nature of the structure.Here,we present a novel experimental model of local brain damage in organotypic entorhino-hippocampal cultures that results in the activation of adjacent newly born granule cells.A small piece of filter paper was placed on the surface of the granule cell layer of the dentate gyrus,which evoked a foreign body reaction of astrocytes,along with the activation of local young neurons expressing doublecortin.Forty-eight hours after foreign body placement,the number of doublecortin-immunoreactive cells increased in the subgranular zone in the direct vicinity of the foreign body,whereas overall increased doublecortin immunoreactivity was observed in the granule cell layer and molecular layer of the dentate gyrus.Foreign body placement in the pyramidal layer of the CA1 region evoked a comparable local astroglial reaction but did not lead to an increase in doublecortin-immunoreactive in either the CA1 region or the adjacent dentate gyrus.Seven days after foreign body placement in the dentate gyrus,the increase in doublecortin-immunoreactivity was no longer observed,indicating the transient activation of young cells.However,7 days after foreign body placement,the number of doublecortin-immunoreactive granule cells coimmunoreactive for calbindin was lower than that under the control conditions.As calbindin is a marker for mature granule cells,this result suggests that activated young cells remain at a more immature stage following foreign body placement.Live imaging of retrovirally green fluorescent protein-labeled newly born granule cells revealed the orientation and growth of their dendrites toward the foreign body placement.This novel experimental model of foreign body placement in organotypic entorhino-hippocampal cultures could serve as a valuable tool for studying both glial reactivity and neuronal plasticity,specifically of newly born neurons under controlled in vitro conditions.

文摘Background:Fufang Muji Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine of the Manchu ethnic group and is thought to treat hepatitis and liver injury by inhibiting the elevation of alpha-fetoprotein.Methods:In this investigation,tandem mass tag(TMT)-based quantitative proteomics was performed to figure out the therapeutic mechanisms of Fufang Muji Granules on liver injury caused by carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4))in rats.Results:Biochemical analyses(alanine aminotransferase;glutamate aminotransferase;aspartate aminotransferase)and histologic analyses(hematoxylin-eosin)demonstrated that FMG was effective in ameliorating liver injury.A sum of 6,208 proteins were identified and 2,475 proteins were determined as differential abundance proteins(DAPs)in rat liver treated with Fufang Muji Granules which compared to the model group.Bioinformatics analysis indicated that the DAPs are primarily enriched in multiple pathways such as rno00280(valine,leucine,and isoleucine degradation),rno00640(Propanoate metabolism),and rno00380(Tryptophan metabolism).Western blot was employed to validate the findings from the proteomic analysis.Conclusion:This study not only provides useful information on the mechanism of Fufang Muji Granules in the treatment of liver injury but also serves as a basis for further study of Fufang Muji Granules in vivo.

文摘Ferrite-rich calcium sulfoaluminate(FCSA)cement is often used in special projects such as marine engineering due to its excellent resistance of seawater attack although the cost is a little high.Ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS),a byproduct of industrial production,is used as a mineral admixture to reduce concrete costs and provide excellent performance.This study aimed to investigate the impact of GGBS on the hydration properties of FCSA cement in seawater.Tests were conducted on heat of hydration,compressive strength,mass change,and pH value of pore solution of FCSA cement paste with a water-to-binder ratio of 0.45.X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis and thermogravimetric analysis were used to determine the hydration products,while mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)was used to measure pore structure.The results indicated that the FCSA cement hydration showed a concentrated heat release at early age.The compressive strength of specimens consistently increased over time,where seawater curing enhanced the compressive strength of control samples.The pH value of pore solution decreased to 10.7−10.9 at 90 d when cured in seawater.The primary hydration products of FCSA cement included ettringite,iron hydroxide gel(FH_(3)),and aluminum hydroxide gel(AH_(3)).Moreover,when cured in seawater,Friedel’s salt was formed,which enhanced the compressive strength of the specimen and increased its coefficient of corrosion.Seawater curing gradually increased sample mass,and GGBS refined pore structure while reducing harmful pore proportions.These results suggest that while GGBS can refine pore structure and improve certain aspects of performance,its inclusion may also reduce compressive strength,highlighting the need for a balanced approach in its use for marine applications.

文摘With the rapid development of economy,air pollution caused by industrial expansion has caused serious harm to human health and social development.Therefore,establishing an effective air pollution concentration prediction system is of great scientific and practical significance for accurate and reliable predictions.This paper proposes a combination of pointinterval prediction system for pollutant concentration prediction by leveraging neural network,meta-heuristic optimization algorithm,and fuzzy theory.Fuzzy information granulation technology is used in data preprocessing to transform numerical sequences into fuzzy particles for comprehensive feature extraction.The golden Jackal optimization algorithm is employed in the optimization stage to fine-tune model hyperparameters.In the prediction stage,an ensemble learning method combines training results frommultiplemodels to obtain final point predictions while also utilizing quantile regression and kernel density estimation methods for interval predictions on the test set.Experimental results demonstrate that the combined model achieves a high goodness of fit coefficient of determination(R^(2))at 99.3% and a maximum difference between prediction accuracy mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and benchmark model at 12.6%.This suggests that the integrated learning system proposed in this paper can provide more accurate deterministic predictions as well as reliable uncertainty analysis compared to traditionalmodels,offering practical reference for air quality early warning.

文摘Leachate sludge,a byproduct of municipal solid waste leachate treated through biochemical processes,is characterized by high water content(761.1%)and significant organic matter content(71.2%).Cement that is commonly used for solidifying leachate sludge has shown limited effectiveness.To address this issue,an alkali-activated ground-granulated blast-furnace slag(GGBS)geopolymer blended with polypropylene fibers was developed to solidify leachate sludge.Moreover,unconfined compressive strength(UCS),immersion,as well as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and scanning electron microscope(SEM)tests were conducted to investigate the solidification effect and mechanism of the GGBS-based geopolymer and fibers on leachate sludge.The results showed that:the 28-d UCS of the solidified sludge with 20%and 30%GGBS is 0.35 MPa and 1.85 MPa,and decreases to 0.18 MPa and 1.13 MPa,respectively,after soaked in water for 28 d.Notably,the UCS of the solidified sludge with 30%GGBS satisfied the strength requirement of roadbed materials.Polypropylene fibers significantly enhanced the strength,ductility and water stability of the solidified sludge,with an optimal fiber content of 0.3%.Alkali-activated GGBS geopolymer generated three-dimensional,cross-linked geopolymeric gels within the solidified sludge,cementing sludge particles and filling intergranular pores to form a stable cementitious structure,thereby achieving effective solidification.Furthermore,incorporating polypropylene fibers improved the bonding and anchoring effect between fiber and solidified sludge,constrained lateral deformation of the solidified sludge,restricted crack propagation,and enhanced engineering performance of the solidified leachate sludge.

文摘Semantic segmentation provides important technical support for Land cover/land use(LCLU)research.By calculating the cosine similarity between feature vectors,transformer-based models can effectively capture the global information of high-resolution remote sensing images.However,the diversity of detailed and edge features within the same class of ground objects in high-resolution remote sensing images leads to a dispersed embedding distribution.The dispersed feature distribution enlarges feature vector angles and reduces cosine similarity,weakening the attention mechanism’s ability to identify the same class of ground objects.To address this challenge,remote sensing image information granulation transformer for semantic segmentation is proposed.The model employs adaptive granulation to extract common semantic features among objects of the same class,constructing an information granule to replace the detailed feature representation of these objects.Then,the Laplacian operator of the information granule is applied to extract the edge features of the object as represented by the information granule.In the experiments,the proposed model was validated on the Beijing Land-Use(BLU),Gaofen Image Dataset(GID),and Potsdam Dataset(PD).In particular,the model achieves 88.81%for mOA,82.64%for mF1,and 71.50%for mIoU metrics on the GID dataset.Experimental results show that the model effectively handles high-resolution remote sensing images.Our code is available at https://github.com/sjmp525/RSIGT(accessed on 16 April 2025).
