Fault diagnosis occupies a pivotal position within the domain of machine and equipment management.Existing methods,however,often exhibit limitations in their scope of application,typically focusing on specific types o...Fault diagnosis occupies a pivotal position within the domain of machine and equipment management.Existing methods,however,often exhibit limitations in their scope of application,typically focusing on specific types of signals or faults in individual mechanical components while being constrained by data types and inherent characteristics.To address the limitations of existing methods,we propose a fault diagnosis method based on graph neural networks(GNNs)embedded with multirelationships of intrinsic mode functions(MIMF).The approach introduces a novel graph topological structure constructed from the features of intrinsic mode functions(IMFs)of monitored signals and their multirelationships.Additionally,a graph-level based fault diagnosis network model is designed to enhance feature learning capabilities for graph samples and enable flexible application across diverse signal sources and devices.Experimental validation with datasets including independent vibration signals for gear fault detection,mixed vibration signals for concurrent gear and bearing faults,and pressure signals for hydraulic cylinder leakage characterization demonstrates the model's adaptability and superior diagnostic accuracy across various types of signals and mechanical systems.展开更多
Reliability allocation of computerized numerical controlled(CNC)lathes is very important in industry.Traditional allocation methods only focus on high-failure rate components rather than moderate failure rate compon...Reliability allocation of computerized numerical controlled(CNC)lathes is very important in industry.Traditional allocation methods only focus on high-failure rate components rather than moderate failure rate components,which is not applicable in some conditions.Aiming at solving the problem of CNC lathes reliability allocating,a comprehensive reliability allocation method based on cubic transformed functions of failure modes and effects analysis(FMEA)is presented.Firstly,conventional reliability allocation methods are introduced.Then the limitations of direct combination of comprehensive allocation method with the exponential transformed FMEA method are investigated.Subsequently,a cubic transformed function is established in order to overcome these limitations.Properties of the new transformed functions are discussed by considering the failure severity and the failure occurrence.Designers can choose appropriate transform amplitudes according to their requirements.Finally,a CNC lathe and a spindle system are used as an example to verify the new allocation method.Seven criteria are considered to compare the results of the new method with traditional methods.The allocation results indicate that the new method is more flexible than traditional methods.By employing the new cubic transformed function,the method covers a wider range of problems in CNC reliability allocation without losing the advantages of traditional methods.展开更多

We extensively characterize th...Functional failure mode of commercial deep sub-micron static random access memory(SRAM) induced by total dose irradiation is experimentally analyzed and verified by circuit simulation. We extensively characterize the functional failure mode of the device by testing its electrical parameters and function with test patterns covering different functional failure modes. Experimental results reveal that the functional failure mode of the device is a temporary function interruption caused by peripheral circuits being sensitive to the standby current rising. By including radiation-induced threshold shift and off-state leakage current in memory cell transistors, we simulate the influence of radiation on the functionality of the memory cell. Simulation results reveal that the memory cell is tolerant to irradiation due to its high stability, which agrees with our experimental result.展开更多
Mood disorders/psychosis have been associated with dysfunctions in the default mode network(DMN).However,the relative contributions of DMN regions to state and trait disturbances in pediatric bipolar disorder(PBD)rema...Mood disorders/psychosis have been associated with dysfunctions in the default mode network(DMN).However,the relative contributions of DMN regions to state and trait disturbances in pediatric bipolar disorder(PBD)remain unclear.The aim of this study was to investigate the possible mechanisms of PBD through brain imaging and explore the influence of psychotic symptoms on functional alterations in PBD patients.Twenty-nine psychotic and 26 non-psychotic PBD patients,as well as 19 age-and sex-matched healthy controls underwent a restingstate functional MRI scan and the data were analyzed by independent component analysis.The DMN component from the fMRI data was extracted for each participant.Spearman's rank correlation analysis was performed between aberrant connectivity and clinical measurements.The results demonstrated that psychotic PBD was characterized by aberrant DMN connectivity in the anterior cingulate cortex/medial prefrontal cortex,bilateral caudate nucleus,bilateral angular gyri,and left middle temporal gyrus,while non-psychotic PBD was not,suggesting further impairment with the development of psychosis.In summary,we demonstrated unique impairment in DMN functional connectivity in the psychotic PBD group.These specific neuroanatomical abnormalities may shed light on the underlying pathophysiology and presentation of PBD.展开更多

First, a sufficient condition is proposed for robust stability of the autonomic system; next, the sufficient conditions of the robust stabilization controller and the existence condition of sliding mode are developed. The results are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved via efficient interior-point algorithms. The crystal structure of L-glutamine is stabilized by a three-dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds.We utilize plane-wave density functional theory lattice-dynamics calculations within the generalized-g...The crystal structure of L-glutamine is stabilized by a three-dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds.We utilize plane-wave density functional theory lattice-dynamics calculations within the generalized-gradient approximation(GGA), Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof(PBE), PBE for solids(PBEsol), PBE with Wu–Cohen exchange(WC), and dispersion-corrected PBE, to investigate the effect of these intermolecular contacts on the absorption spectra of glutamine in the terahertz frequency range. Among these calculations, the solid-state simulated results obtained using the WC method exhibit a good agreement with the measured absorption spectra, and the absorption features are assigned with the help of WC. This indicates that the vibrational modes of glutamine were related to the combination of intramolecular and intermolecular motions, the intramolecular modes were dominated by rocking or torsion involving functional groups; the intermolecular modes mainly result from the translational motions of individual molecules, and the rocking of the hydrogenbonded functional groups.展开更多

This paper proposes an enhanced model predictive discrete-time sliding mode control with a new sliding function for a linear system with state delay. Firstly, a new sliding function including a present value and a past value of the state, called dynamic surface, is designed by means of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, using this dynamic function and the rolling optimization method in the predictive control strategy, a discrete predictive sliding mode controller is synthesized. This new strategy is proposed to eliminate the undesirable effect of the delay term in the closed loop system. Also, the designed control strategy is more robust, and has a chattering reduction property and a faster convergence of the system s state. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.展开更多
