Understanding and tuning charge transport over a single molecule is a fundamental topic in molecular electronics.Single-molecule junctions composed of individual molecules attached to two electrodes are the most commo...Understanding and tuning charge transport over a single molecule is a fundamental topic in molecular electronics.Single-molecule junctions composed of individual molecules attached to two electrodes are the most common components built for single-molecule charge transport studies.During the past two decades,rapid technical and theoretical advances in single-molecule junctions have increased our understanding of the conductance properties and functions of molecular devices.In this perspective article,we introduce the basic principles of charge transport in single-molecule junctions,then give an overview of recent progress in modulating single-molecule transport through external stimuli such as electric field and potential,light,mechanical force,heat,and chemical environment.Lastly,we discuss challenges and offer views on future developments in molecular electronics.展开更多
Based on the SOR(stimulus-organism-response)model to obtain 534 survey data from the MTurk platform,the relationship between external stimuli,psychological processes,and consumers’stationery purchasing behavior was e...Based on the SOR(stimulus-organism-response)model to obtain 534 survey data from the MTurk platform,the relationship between external stimuli,psychological processes,and consumers’stationery purchasing behavior was empirically analyzed using a multivariate ordered logistic regression model.In terms of marketing stimuli,consumers’recognition of product quality and price as well as the convenience of purchasing channels significantly and positively influenced purchasing behavior;in terms of social stimuli,self’s opinion of needs and the positive evaluation of peers significantly and positively influenced purchasing behavior;in terms of psychological process,consumers’knowledge,trust,willingness to know,and preference for stationery products significantly and positively influenced purchasing behavior.Accordingly,it is proposed that,in order to promote the purchase of stationery products,the production and operation links should ensure the quality of stationery products,promote price control in a reasonable range,guarantee a healthy,orderly,and convenient stationery market environment,as well as strengthen the multi-sensory promotion of stationery products.展开更多
In this study,we have formulated the phase description of the neuronal oscillator with non-instantaneous synaptic inputs and external periodic stimulus by using the phase sensitivity function.By numerical simulation,w...In this study,we have formulated the phase description of the neuronal oscillator with non-instantaneous synaptic inputs and external periodic stimulus by using the phase sensitivity function.By numerical simulation,we have found that the phase of a neuronal oscillator undergoes periodic evolution or locked state,which is determined by the synaptic time constant.The synaptic time constant is also an important condition under which the global network is synchronized.When the synaptic time constant is relatively small,perfectly synchronized behavior quickly occurs in the neuronal population.As the synaptic time constant becomes slightly larger,periodic synchronization emerges in the neuronal population.However,synchronized activity in the neuronal population is lost for larger synaptic time constant.The external periodic stimulus can change the synchronization patterns in the neuronal population.With a weak low-frequency stimulus,the neuronal populations quick synchronized bursting;whereas a high-frequency stimulus can produce synchronized overlapping bursting.We have also found that neuronal oscillators with type-II phase response curves are more susceptible to synchronization than those with type-I phase response curves.展开更多
