More and more educational researchers pay attention to the differences between China and the United States.Although the educational concepts of China and the United States respect"student-centered",and are v...More and more educational researchers pay attention to the differences between China and the United States.Although the educational concepts of China and the United States respect"student-centered",and are very close in educational system and institutional setting,they are still similar in curriculum design.Taking the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as an example,this paper makes a detailed comparative analysis from the four aspects of curriculum objectives,curriculum assessment,teaching activities and syllabus,finds out the essential differences between Chinese and American university curriculum design,and puts forward that the change of Chinese university curriculum design concept needs to start from basic education,and the cultivation of teachers'thinking and ability is the key influence of the reform factor.展开更多

This article tries to find out the few discrepancies between the teachers and their scholars as to oral activity, which shows that scholars' expectations and needs are not quite responded to. The versions chosen as a...This article tries to find out the few discrepancies between the teachers and their scholars as to oral activity, which shows that scholars' expectations and needs are not quite responded to. The versions chosen as a sample for this study come from different schools in the academy of Rabat Sal~ Zemmour Zaer area and belong to three different educational levels including common core, first year, and second year in addition to a total number of 40 teachers who have contributed to this research throughout the whole process. This research has relied on different instruments to collect the data including questionnaires, interviews, and class observation grids. Results showed that scholars' perceptions highly favour thematic variety. Findings also reported match findings of previous research in highlighting the importance of using tech facilities and multimedia to improve oral activity.展开更多
Objective: to explore and compare the effects of different health education methods on blood pressure control level of patients with essential hypertension in physical examination center. Methods: 80 patients with ess...Objective: to explore and compare the effects of different health education methods on blood pressure control level of patients with essential hypertension in physical examination center. Methods: 80 patients with essential hypertension were divided into groups by touching the ball in the physical examination center. 40 patients in the control group received basic health education and 40 patients in the observation group received systematic health education. The results were observed and recorded. Results: the blood pressure index of the observation group was lower, and the score of quality of life and nursing satisfaction were higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion: systematic health education plays a very important role in stabilizing and controlling blood pressure. The quality of life of patients is generally improved. They are very satisfied with the nursing model, which is worthy of popularization and use.展开更多

Although there is an increased interest in overseas training for educational leaders in China,little is known about the value of such programs.This qualitative case study explores Chinese school principals’perception...Although there is an increased interest in overseas training for educational leaders in China,little is known about the value of such programs.This qualitative case study explores Chinese school principals’perceptions of leadership practices and professional development after undertaking a Finnish training program.The article also explores difficulties related to different educational contexts when an attempt is made at applying the Finnish education experience to China.Famed for its excellent education,Finland is currently actively involved in exporting its education by providing such training programs to the whole world.Data was collected by semi-structured interviews with six Shanghai principals.The results showed a certain level of satisfaction but also needs for improvement.It thus appears that such an overseas training program can play a positive but limited role in expanding Chinese principals’leadership practices and professional development.展开更多
