Recently, the study of effective H...Effective Hamiltonians in periodically driven systems have received widespread attention for realization of novel quantum phases, non-equilibrium phase transition, and Majorana mode. Recently, the study of effective Hamiltonian using various methods has gained great interest. We consider a vector differential equation of motion to derive the effective Hamiltonian for any periodically driven two-level system, and the dynamics of the spin vector are an evolution under the Bloch sphere. Here, we investigate the properties of this equation and show that a sudden change of the effective Hamiltonian is expected. Furthermore, we present several exact relations, whose expressions are independent of the different starting points. Moreover, we deduce the effective Hamiltonian from the high-frequency limit, which approximately equals the results in previous studies. Our results show that the vector differential equation of motion is not affected by a convergence problem, and thus, can be used to numerically investigate the effective models in any periodic modulating system. Finally, we anticipate that the proposed method can be applied to experimental platforms that require time-periodic modulation, such as ultracold atoms and optical lattices.展开更多

These methods sometimes exist a lot of big measurement errors. So, in order to make these errors much smaller, and to use the vibration information of the rotor more sufficiently, at last, we put forward the full vector dynamic balancing algorithm. Though the theoretical analysis, and the experiment tests, we can compare with the new method and the old method , study the relationship between the dynamic balancing and the rotation equipment, and the direction of the development. The full vector dynamic balancing algorithm theory can be inferred from the Jeffcott rotor. To compare with the methods which are mentioned before, we can find that the full vector dynamic balancing algorithm is much better than the influence coefficient method and the modal balancing method. We can use the MATLAB program to prove that the full vector dynamic balancing algorithm is much better. So the conclusion is completely right.展开更多

Combining signal tracking and navigation solution,vector tracking can realize powerful processing capabilities by the fusion technique of receiving channel...Vector tracking changes the classical structure of receivers. Combining signal tracking and navigation solution,vector tracking can realize powerful processing capabilities by the fusion technique of receiving channel and feedback correction. In this paper,we try to break through the complicated details of numerical analysis,consider the overall influencing factors of the residual in observed data,and use the intrinsic link between a conventional receiver and a vector receiver. A simple method for performance analysis of the vector tracking algorithm is proposed. Kalman filter has the same steady performance with the classic digital lock loop through the analysis of the relation between gain and band width. The theoretical analysis by the least squares model shows that the reduction of range error is the basis for the superior performance realized by vector tracking. Thus,the bounds of its performance enhancement under weak signal and highly dynamic conditions can be deduced. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the analysis presented here.展开更多

Deterministic techniques based on mathematic programming become invalid when the models are non-di...Dynamic optimization problems(DOPs) described by differential equations are often encountered in chemical engineering. Deterministic techniques based on mathematic programming become invalid when the models are non-differentiable or explicit mathematical descriptions do not exist. Recently, evolutionary algorithms are gaining popularity for DOPs as they can be used as robust alternatives when the deterministic techniques are invalid. In this article, a technology named ranking-based mutation operator(RMO) is presented to enhance the previous differential evolution(DE) algorithms to solve DOPs using control vector parameterization. In the RMO, better individuals have higher probabilities to produce offspring, which is helpful for the performance enhancement of DE algorithms. Three DE-RMO algorithms are designed by incorporating the RMO. The three DE-RMO algorithms and their three original DE algorithms are applied to solve four constrained DOPs from the literature. Our simulation results indicate that DE-RMO algorithms exhibit better performance than previous non-ranking DE algorithms and other four evolutionary algorithms.展开更多

First,...In this paper, the control laws based on the Lyapunov stability theorem are designed for a two-level open quantum system to prepare the Hadamard gate, which is an important basic gate for the quantum computers. First, the density matrix interested in quantum system is transferred to vector formation.Then, in order to obtain a controller with higher accuracy and faster convergence rate, a Lyapunov function based on the matrix logarithm function is designed. After that, a procedure for the controller design is derived based on the Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, the numerical simulation experiments for an amplitude damping Markovian open quantum system are performed to prepare the desired quantum gate. In order to study dynamic laws of surface movements over coal mines due to mining activities,a dynamic prediction model of surface movements was established,based on the theory of support vector machines(SVM) and time...In order to study dynamic laws of surface movements over coal mines due to mining activities,a dynamic prediction model of surface movements was established,based on the theory of support vector machines(SVM) and times-series analysis.An engineering application was used to verify the correctness of the model.Measurements from observation stations were analyzed and processed to obtain equal-time interval surface movement data and subjected to tests of stationary,zero means and normality.Then the data were used to train the SVM model.A time series model was established to predict mining subsidence by rational choices of embedding dimensions and SVM parameters.MAPE and WIA were used as indicators to evaluate the accuracy of the model and for generalization performance.In the end,the model was used to predict future surface movements.Data from observation stations in Huaibei coal mining area were used as an example.The results show that the maximum absolute error of subsidence is 9 mm,the maximum relative error 1.5%,the maximum absolute error of displacement 7 mm and the maximum relative error 1.8%.The accuracy and reliability of the model meet the requirements of on-site engineering.The results of the study provide a new approach to investigate the dynamics of surface movements.展开更多

The approach is based on extending the state space to include infor...We introduce a new and efficient numerical method for multicriterion optimal control and single criterion optimal control under integral constraints. The approach is based on extending the state space to include information on a "budget" remaining to satisfy each constraint; the augmented Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman PDE is then solved numerically. The efficiency of our approach hinges on the causality in that PDE, i.e., the monotonicity of characteristic curves in one of the newly added dimensions. A semi-Lagrangian "marching" method is used to approximate the discontinuous viscosity solution efficiently. We compare this to a recently introduced "weighted sum" based algorithm for the same problem [25]. We illustrate our method using examples from flight path planning and robotic navigation in the presence of friendly and adversarial observers.展开更多
