A flexible drive unit(FDU) is developed, whose features are guided by steel rope, increasing force by the movable pulley group, modular, convenient and flexible. Dynamics model for controller is deduced based on the constitutive equation of viscoelasticity. Controller is designed for position control and is based on the viscoelasticity dynamics model compensation control strategy proposed. The control system is based on the TURBO PMAC multi-axis motion control card.Prototype loading experiments and velocity experiments results show that the FDU can reach 2 Hz with no load and the max speed of 30(°)/s. The FDU has the capability of the load torque 11.2 N·m and the speed of 24(°)/s simultaneously, and the frequency response is 1.3 Hz. The FDU can be used to be the pitch joint of hip for biped robot whose walking speed is 0.144 km/h theoretically.展开更多

With the increase of coupling strength, the network dynamics transits from the incoherent stat...The change of state of one map in the network of nonlocal coupled logistic maps at the transition of coherence is studied. With the increase of coupling strength, the network dynamics transits from the incoherent state into the coherent state. In the process, the iteration of the map first changes from chaos to period state, then from periodic to chaotic state again. For the periodic doubling bifurcations, similar to an isolated map, the largest Lyapunov exponent tends to zero from a negative value. However, the states of coupled maps exhibit complex behavior rather than converge to a few fixed values. The behavior brings a new chimera state of coupled logistic maps. The bifurcation diagram is identical to the phase order of maps iterations. For the bifurcation between 1-band and multi-band chaos, the symmetry of chaotic bands emerges and the transition of the order of iteration direction occurs.展开更多

Especially for the applicatio...For the further design of the particular gearbox components, the alternating cycles of the respective application mean an often insufficient knowledge of the actual loads occuring in use. Especially for the application within lifting units, such dynamic load cycles are very difficult to pre-estimate. The so-called slack rope test represents the most critical point in the load cycle and provides a special challenge for the gearbox design. Because of this missing expert knowledge, a test bench of such an application is installed and applied to practical movement cycles. Besides the test bench, a multi-body simulation model of the whole system is mapped within the MBS (multi-body simulation) environment SIMPACK. To verify this simulation model, the results are compared with the respective measurements of the test bench. These comparisons show very good agreements. Thus, one of the major advantages of using such simulation tools is the possibility to re-evaluate the internal and external loads during the whole design process. Finally, these simulations serve as a clarification of the load spectrum of the different drivetrain components. Gearbox series or different modifications of the design can now be analyzed prospectively without extensive testing.展开更多
Automatic gauge control(AGC in the article)is the key technology of product thickness accuracy and flatness quality in modern cold rolling mill.Most traditional AGC control algorithms need stable external system condi...Automatic gauge control(AGC in the article)is the key technology of product thickness accuracy and flatness quality in modern cold rolling mill.Most traditional AGC control algorithms need stable external system conditions and hard to stabilize under complex interference that meets coverage requirements.This paper presents a new anti-interference strategy for AGC control of 20-Hi cold reversing mill.The proposed algorithm introduces a united dynamic weights algorithm of feed forward-mass flow to avoid the complex interference problem in AGC control,the relevant control strategy is provided to eliminate the adverse effects.At the same time,the D-value between feed forward-mass flow pre-computation and thickness measurement deviation is dynamic compared,the final gap position regulation is calculated by developing a set of united dynamic weights between feed forward control and mass flow control.Finally,the output of controllers is sent to actuator though a constant rate smoothing.The proposed strategy is compared with conventional AGC control on Experimental platform and project application,the results show that the proposed strategy is more stable than comparison method and majority of system uncertainty produced by mentioned interference is significantly eliminated.展开更多
