Plasma as the fourth state of matter has attracted great attention for material surface modification, which could induce changes in material microscopic factors, such as defects, phase transitions, crystallinity, and so on.However, the interactions among those microscopic factors and regulation mechanism of macroscopic properties have rarely been investigated.Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenide with tunable structure and phase is one of the most promising electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers, which provides a favorable platform for systematically studying the dynamic coupling of its microscopic factors.Herein,we constructed a NaBH_(4) solution-assisted Ar plasma method to modify the 2H-MoS_(2)and 1T-WS_(2)for exploring the regulation mechanism of microscopic factors. For MoS_(2)and WS_(2),NaBH_(4) solution-assisted Ar plasma treatment behaves with different effects on dielectric responses, realizing dynamic coupling of material microscopic factors to collaboratively promote EM losses coupling.Consequently, the MS-D3-0.5(MoS_(2),3 kV voltage,0.5 mol L^(-1)NaBH_(4) solution)displays an optimum effective absorption bandwidth of 8.01 GHz,which is 319.4%more than that of MS-raw sample. This study not only reveals the novel mechanism of plasma induced dynamic coupling of microscopic factors for EMW dissipation, but also presents a new method of plasma-dominated surface modification to optimize the EMW absorption performance. 展开更多

The human-induced vertical vibration serviceability of low-frequency and lightweight footbridges is studied based on the moving mass-spring-damper(MMSD) biodynamic model, and the mass damper(TMD) with different optimal model parameters being used to control the vertical vibration.First, the MMSD biodynamic model is employed to simulate the pedestrians, and the time-varying control equations of the vertical dynamic coupling system of the pedestrian-bridgeTMD are established with the consideration of pedestrianbridge dynamic interaction; and the equations are solved by using the Runge-Kutta-Felhberg integral method with variable step size. Secondly, the footbridge dynamic response is calculated under the model of pedestrian-structure dynamic interaction and the model of moving load when the pedestrian pace frequency is consistent with the natural frequency of footbridge. Finally, a comparative study and analysis are made on the control effects of the vertical dynamic coupling system in different optimal models of the TMD. The calculation results show that the pedestrian-bridge dynamic interaction cannot be ignored when the vertical human-induced vibration serviceability of low-frequency and light-weight footbridge is evaluated. The TMD can effectively reduce the vibration under the resonance of pedestrian-bridge, and TMD parameters are recommended for the determination by the Warburton optimization model. 展开更多

This paper, taking Hexi Corridor as an example, analyzes the altemating intimidation and the dynamic evolving relation between urbanization and eco-environment in arid area of West China. We argue that the harmonious development system of the urbanization and eco-environment would go through four phases: rudimentary symbiotic phase, harmonious developmental phase, utmost increasing phase and spiral type rising phase. Throughout the four phases, the elements of the system would influence each other, coerce each other, and complete the spiral type rising process from low-grade symbiosis to high-grade harmony together. The study on Hexi Corridor shows that the urbanization level in Hexi Corridor has increased gradually from 1985 to 2003 accompanied with the fluctuations of eco-environment state. The response of eco-environment to urbanization has been evident, but lagged behind the urbanization course. At present, the harmonious development system in Hexi Corridor was in its harmonious developmental phase. However, the coupling degree has increased quickly and approached 90 yet, which is signaling that the system is about to enter the utmost increasing phase, and the ecological crisis will enter the latent period. We have found that the coupling degree can well reflect the interactive coercing and dynamic evolving situation between urbanization and eco-environment in Hexi Corridor. From the temporal change of the coupling degree, it can be concluded that urbanization sometimes needs to pay a certain cost for the damage of the eco-environment in its initial stages, but as the urbanization continues, the state of the eco-environment would be meliorated. 展开更多

The integration of renewable energy sources(RESs)with inverter interfaces has fundamentally reshaped power system dynamics, challenging traditional stability analysis frameworks designed for synchronous generator-dominated grids.Conventional classifica-tions,which decouple voltage, frequency, and rotor angle stability, fail to address the emerging strong voltage‒angle coupling effects caused by RES dynamics. This coupling introduces complex oscillation modes and undermines system robustness,neces-sitating novel stability assessment tools.Recent studies focus on eigenvalue distributions and damping redistribution but lack quantitative criteria and interpretative clarity for coupled stability. This work proposes a transient energy-based framework to resolve these gaps.By decomposing transient energy into subsystem-dissipated components and coupling-induced energy exchange, the method establishes stability criteria compatible with a broad variety of inverter-interfaced devices while offering an intuitive energy-based interpretation for engineers. The coupling strength is also quantified by defining the relative coupling strength index, which is directly related to the transient energy interpretation of the coupled stability.Angle‒voltage coupling may induce instability by injecting transient energy into the system, even if the individual phase angle and voltage dynamics themselves are stable. The main contributions include a systematic stability evaluation framework and an energy decomposition approach that bridges theoretical analysis with practical applicability, addressing the urgent need for tools for managing modern power system evolving stability challenges. 展开更多

Unlike conventional spherical charges,a shaped charge generates not only a strong shock wave and a pulsating bubble, but also a high strain rate metal jet and a ballistic wave during the underwater explosion. They show significant characteristic differences and couple each other. This paper designs and conducts experiments with shaped charges to analyze the complicated process. The effects of liner angle and weight of shaped charge on the characteristics of metal jets, waves, and bubbles are discussed. It is found that in underwater explosions, the shaped charge generates the metal jet accompanied by the ballistic wave. Then, the shock wave propagates and superimposes with the ballistic wave, and the generated bubble pulsates periodically. It is revealed that the maximum head velocity of the metal jet versus the liner angle a and length-to-diameter ratio k of the shaped charge follows the laws of 1/(α/180°)^(0.55)andλ^(0.16),respectively.The head shape and velocity of the metal jet determine the curvature and propagation speed of the initial ballistic wave, thus impacting the superposition time and region with the shock wave. Our findings also reveal that the metal jet carries away some explosion products, which hinders the bubble development, causing an inward depression of the bubble wall near the metal jet. Therefore, the maximum bubble radius and pulsation period are 5.2%and 3.9%smaller than the spherical charge with the same weight. In addition, the uneven axial energy distribution of the shaped charge leads to an oblique bubble jet formation. 展开更多

In multi-fed grid-connected systems, there are complex dynamic interactions between different pieces of equipment.Particularly in situations of weak-grid faults, the dynamic coupling between equipment becomes more pronounced. This may cause the system to experience small-signal instability during the fault steady-state.In this paper,multi-paralleled doubly fed induction generator(DFIG)-based wind farms(WFs)are taken as an example to study the dynamic coupling within a multi-fed system during fault steady-state of symmetrical low voltage ride-through(LVRT)in a weak grid. The analysis reveals that the dynamic coupling between WFs will introduce a damping shift to each WF.This inevitably affects the system’s dynamic stability and brings the risk of small-signal instability during fault steady-state in LVRT scenarios.Increasing the distance to fault location and fault severity will exacerbate the dynamic coupling between WFs.Because of the dynamic coupling, adjusting the control state of one WF will affect the stability of the remaining WFs in the system.Hence,a cooperative control strategy for multi-paralleled DFIG WFs is proposed to improve dynamic stability during LVRT.The analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy are verified by modal analysis and simu-lation. 展开更多

The arresting process of carrier-based aircraft is widely recognized as a challenging task, characterized by the highest accident rate among all carrier-based aircraft operations.Dynamic simulation plays a crucial role in assessing the intricate responses of the arresting process, favoring the design of carrier-based aircraft. An efficient and accurate rigid-flexible coupling model for analyzing the dynamic response of the arresting process is proposed.By combining the dynamic characteristics of airframe, landing gear, arresting hook and arresting gear system, the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model is established to reflect the relative motion of the coupling parts and arresting load. The dynamic model is verified through simulations of landing gear landing drops and by comparing the arresting simulation results with corresponding data in the US military standard.Additionally, simulations of the arresting process under different off-center distance and aircraft yaw angle are conducted to obtain the dynamic response of the aircraft during the arresting process. The result indicates that the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model proposed is effective for analyzing the arresting dynamics response of carrier-based aircraft. The axial force of the arresting cable on both sides of the hook engagement point, pitch and yaw angle of aircraft are inconsistent under yaw and off-center arresting. The analysis method and obtained results provide valuable references for assessing the dynamic responses of carrier-based aircraft during arresting process and offer valuable in-sights in the design of carrier-based aircraft. 展开更多

The Electro–Hydrostatic Actuator(EHA)is applied to drive the control surface in flightcontrol system of more electric aircraft. In EHA,the Oil-Immersed Motor Pump(OMP)serves asthe core as a power assembly. However, the compact integration of the OMP presents challenges inefficiently dissipating internal heat, leading to a performance degradation of the EHA due to ele-vated temperatures. Therefore, accurately modeling and predicting the internal thermal dynamicsof the OMP hold considerable significance for monitoring the operational condition of the EHA.In view of this,a modeling method considering cumulative thermal coupling was hereby proposed.Based on the proposed method, the thermal models of the motor and the pump were established, taking into account heat accumulation and transfer.Taking the leakage oil as the heat couplingpoint between the motor and the pump, the dynamic thermal coupling model of the OMP wasdeveloped, with the thermal characteristics of the oil considered.Additionally, the comparativeexperiments were conducted to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed model. The experimentalresults demonstrate that the proposed dynamic thermal coupling model accurately captured thethermal behavior of OMP,outperforming the static thermal parameter model.Overall, thisadvancement is crucial for effectively monitoring the health of EHA and ensuring flight safety. 展开更多

The vehicle-road coupling dynamics problem is a prominent issue in transportation, drawing significant attention in recent years. These dynamic equations are characterized by high-dimensionality,coupling,and time-varying dynamics, making the exact solutions challenging to obtain. As a result, numerical integration methods are typically employed. However, conventional methods often suffer from low computational efficiency. To address this, this paper explores the application of the parameter freezing precise exponential integrator to vehicle-road coupling models. The model accounts for road roughness irregularities, incorporating all terms unrelated to the linear part into the algorithm's inhomogeneous vector. The general construction process of the algorithm is detailed. The validity of numerical results is verified through approximate analytical solutions(AASs),and the advantages of this method over traditional numerical integration methods are demonstrated.Multiple parameter freezing precise exponential integrator schemes are constructed based on the Runge-Kutta framework, with the fourth-order four-stage scheme identified as the optimal one.The study indicates that this method can quickly and accurately capture the dynamic system's vibration response, offering a new, efficient approach for numerical studies of high-dimensional vehicle-road coupling systems. 展开更多

The integrated systems of unmanned surface vehicles(USVs) and remotely operated vehicles(ROVs) have been extensively applied in marine exploration and seabed coverage. However, the simultaneous navigation of USV-ROV systems is frequently limited by strong disturbances induced by waves or currents. This paper develops a novel rigidflexible coupling multibody dynamic model that incorporates disturbances of variable-length marine cables with geometrically nonlinear motion. A hybrid Lagrangian-Eulerian absolute nodal coordinate formulation(ANCF) element is developed to accurately model subsea cables which undergo significant overall motion, substantial deformation, and mass flow during the deployment of underwater equipment. Furthermore, the governing equations of the coupled USV-umbilical-ROV system are derived, considering wave-induced forces and current disturbances. A numerical solver based on the Newmark-beta method is proposed, along with an adaptive meshing technique near the release point. After validating three experimental cases, the cable disturbances at both the USV and ROV ends—caused by ocean currents, heave motion, and simultaneous navigation—are comprehensively compared and evaluated. Finally,it is demonstrated that a PD controller with disturbance compensation can enhance the simultaneous navigation performance of USV-ROV systems. 展开更多

Seismicity resulting from the near-or in-field fault activation significantly affects the stability of large-scale underground caverns that are operating under high-stress conditions.A comprehensive scientific assessment of the operational safety of such caverns requires an in-depth understanding of the response characteristics of the rock mass subjected to dynamic disturbances. To address this issue,we conducted true triaxial modeling tests and dynamic numerical simulations on large underground caverns to investigate the impact of static stress levels, dynamic load parameters, and input directions on the response characteristics of the surrounding rock mass. The findings reveal that:(1)When subjected to identical incident stress waves and static loads, the surrounding rock mass exhibits the greatest stress response during horizontal incidence. When the incident direction is fixed, the mechanical response is more pronounced at the cavern wall parallel to the direction of dynamic loading.(2)A high initial static stress level specifically enhances the impact of dynamic loading.(3)The response of the surrounding rock mass is directly linked to the amplitude of the incident stress wave.High amplitude results in tensile damage in regions experiencing tensile stress concentration under static loading and shear damage in regions experiencing compressive stress concentration. These results have significant implications for the evaluation and prevention of dynamic disasters in the surrounding rock of underground caverns experiencing dynamic disturbances. 展开更多

Laying the under-sleeper pad(USP)is one of the effective measures commonly used to delay ballast degradation and reduce maintenance workload. To explore the impact of application of the USP on the dynamic and static mechanical behavior of the ballast track in the heavy-haul railway system, numerical simulation models of the ballast bed with USP and without USP are presented in this paper by using the discrete element method(DEM)-multi-flexible body dynamic(MFBD)coupling analysis method. The ballast bed support stiffness test and dynamic displacement tests were carried out on the actual operation of a heavy-haul railway line to verify the validity of the models. The results show that using the USP results in a 43.01%reduction in the ballast bed support stiffness and achieves a more uniform distribution of track loads on the sleepers. It effectively reduces the load borne by the sleeper directly under the wheel load, with a 7.89%reduction in the pressure on the sleeper.Furthermore, the laying of the USP changes the lateral resistance sharing ratio of the ballast bed, significantly reducing the stress level of the ballast bed under train loads, with an average stress reduction of 42.19 kPa.It also reduces the plastic displacement of ballast particles and lowers the peak value of rotational angular velocity by about 50%to 70%,which is conducive to slowing down ballast bed settlement deformation and reducing maintenance costs. In summary, laying the USP has a potential value in enhancing the stability and extending the lifespan of the ballast bed in heavy-haul railway systems. 展开更多

In this paper, four novel evaluation indices and corresponding hierarchical optimization strategies are proposed for a deployable solar array system considering panel flexibility and joint clearance. The deployable solar array model consists of a rigid main-body,two panels and four key mechanisms, containing torsion spring mechanism, closed cable loop mechanism, latch mechanism and attitude adjustment mechanism.Rigid and flexible components are established by Nodal Coordinate Formulation and Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation, respectively. The clearance joint model is described by nonlinear contact force model and amendatory Coulomb friction model. The latch time, stabilization time, maximum contact force and impulse sum of the contact force of the solar array system are selected as the four novel evaluation indices to represent the complex dynamic responses of a deployable solar array with clearance joints instead of the lock torque widely used in conventional works. To eliminate the gross errors caused by the nonlinear and nonsmooth mechanical properties,a hierarchical optimization strategy based on an adaptive simulated annealing algorithm and a nondominated sorting genetic algorithm is adopted for the solar array system with clearance joints. Results indicate that the effects of panel flexibility on the evaluation index responses and design optimization of the solar array system cannot be neglected.Besides, increasing the weight factor of the stabilization time index of the rigid system may compensate for the differences in optimal results of the rigid–flexible coupling system. That may provide some references for optimization design of deployable space mechanisms considering clearance joints. 展开更多

The existence of rolling deformation area in the rolling mill system is the main characteristic which dis- tinguishes the other machinery. In order to analyze the dynamic property of roll system's flexural deformation, it is necessary to consider the transverse periodic movement of stock in the rolling deformation area which is caused by the flexural deformation movement of roll system simul- taneously. Therefore, the displacement field of roll system and flow of metal in the deformation area is described by kinematic analysis in the dynamic system. Through intro- ducing the lateral displacement function of metal in the deformation area, the dynamic variation of per unit width rolling force can be determined at the same time. Then the coupling law caused by the co-effect of rigid movement and flexural deformation of the system structural elements is determined. Furthermore, a multi-parameter coupling dynamic model of the roll system and stock is established by the principle of virtual work. More explicitly, the cou- pled motion modal analysis was made for the roll system. Meanwhile, the analytical solutions for the flexural defor- mation movement's mode shape functions of rolls are discussed. In addition, the dynamic characteristic of the lateral flow of metal in the rolling deformation area has been analyzed at the same time. The establishment ofdynamic lateral displacement function of metal in the deformation area makes the foundation for analyzing the coupling law between roll system and rolling deformation area, and provides a theoretical basis for the realization of the dynamic shape control of steel strip. 展开更多

Aiming at the air-gap magnetic field excited by wall armatures,Laplace’s partial differential equation of air-gap magnetic potential is achieved by means of the electromagnetic field theory.According to the magnetic boundary conditions and the method of separation of variables, the magnetic potential of the air-gap magnetic field is obtained.Based on the magnetization force model and Lorentz force of ferromagnetic thin-walled structures, and introducing the electromagnetic constitutive relations and boundary conditions, the calculation model of electromagnetic force of the soft ferromagnetic thin plate moving in air-gap magnetic field is established.Considering geometric nonlinearity, expressions of strain energy and kinetic energy of the elastic thin plate and the work of forces are given, respectively. The magnetic-structure coupling nonlinear vibration equations of ferromagnetic thin plate parallel moving in the air-gap magnetic field excited by armatures are obtained by using the Hamilton principle, which can be of the characterization of the system dynamics model with electro-magneto-velocity-mechanical interaction.Through numerical examples, primary resonance characteristics of the strip thin plate under the action of air-gap magnetic force are obtained. The results show that the two stable amplitude values will increase as amplitude of magnetic potential increases and thickness of air-gap decreases, and the amplitude’s multi-valued region will change due to the varieties of magnetic potential,air-gap and velocity. The model established in this paper is a theoretical reference for investigation on the multi-field coupling dynamic behaviors of structures moving in complex electromagnetic fields. 展开更多
