Design patterns offer reusable solutions for common software issues,enhancing quality.The advent of generative large language models(LLMs)marks progress in software development,but their efficacy in applying design pa...Design patterns offer reusable solutions for common software issues,enhancing quality.The advent of generative large language models(LLMs)marks progress in software development,but their efficacy in applying design patterns is not fully assessed.The recent introduction of generative large language models(LLMs)like ChatGPT and CoPilot has demonstrated significant promise in software development.They assist with a variety of tasks including code generation,modeling,bug fixing,and testing,leading to enhanced efficiency and productivity.Although initial uses of these LLMs have had a positive effect on software development,their potential influence on the application of design patterns remains unexplored.This study introduces a method to quantify LLMs’ability to implement design patterns,using Role-Based Metamodeling Language(RBML)for a rigorous specification of the pattern’s problem,solution,and transformation rules.The method evaluates the pattern applicability of a software application using the pattern’s problem specification.If deemed applicable,the application is input to the LLM for pattern application.The resulting application is assessed for conformance to the pattern’s solution specification and for completeness against the pattern’s transformation rules.Evaluating the method with ChatGPT 4 across three applications reveals ChatGPT’s high proficiency,achieving averages of 98%in conformance and 87%in completeness,thereby demonstrating the effectiveness of the method.Using RBML,this study confirms that LLMs,specifically ChatGPT 4,have great potential in effective and efficient application of design patterns with high conformance and completeness.This opens avenues for further integrating LLMs into complex software engineering processes.展开更多

The results of 5 cropping seasons (2 seasons/year)showed that the direct response of corn to K was larger than that of wheat, but no difference was found between rice and wheat in Siyang when the total annual amount of K was applied only in one cropping season. However, the response of wheat was much greater than that of rice in Liyang. If potash was applied in the preceding season, the residual effect of K on wheat was larger than that on rice both in Siyang and Liyang, but less than that on corn. The total effect (direct and residual effects) of K applied to corn or rice was greater than that to wheat in Siyang, but that to wheat was greater in Liyang. The direct and total effects of K application in the upland were larger than those in the wetland of Siyang; but for the wetland,the effects were larger in Liyang than in Siyang, especially in the wheat season. The results demonstrated that the most profitable practice to be recommended to the local farmers was to apply a limited amount of potash to only rice or corn but not to wheat. Equally applying half of the total annual amount of K to each of the crops may be advisable in order to lessen possible fertilization risks.展开更多

The architect can instead achieve reliability by properly planning the workflow architecture. To this end he must be able to evaluate and compare the reliability of multiple architectural solutions. In this paper we present a useful tool which allows to conduct reliability analysis on planned workflows, as well as to compare the reliability of alternative solutions in a what-if analysis. The tool is implemented as a plug-in for the widely adopted Active BPEL Designer and exploits the concept of reliability pattern to evaluate the reliability formula of the workflow. The effectiveness of the approach and the operation of the tool are demonstrated with respect to a case study of a business security infrastructure realized by orchestrating simple security services.展开更多

However, the scale and complexity of personalized service is increasing because of ubiquitous deployment of various kinds of medical sensors, which cause response time increase and resource waste. Therefore, leveraging the advantage of complex event processing(CEP) in data stream processing, we propose a hierarchical fog-cloud computing CEP architecture for personalized service to accelerate response time and reduce resource waste. Firstly, we introduce the proposed architecture, which includes sensor layer, fog layer and cloud layer. Secondly, we propose a series of optimizations for the architecture, there are a partitioning and clustering approach and a communication and parallel processing policy to optimize the fog and cloud computing. Finally, we implement a prototype system based on the architecture named Fog Cep Care. Experimental result shows that Fog Cep Care is superior to the traditional IoT-based healthcare application.展开更多
The pattern run-length coding test data compression approach is extended by introducing don't care bit(x) propagation strategy into it.More than one core test sets for testing core-based System-on-Chip(SoC) are un...The pattern run-length coding test data compression approach is extended by introducing don't care bit(x) propagation strategy into it.More than one core test sets for testing core-based System-on-Chip(SoC) are unified into a single one,which is compressed by the extended coding technique.A reconfigurable scan test application mechanism is presented,in which test data for multiple cores are scanned and captured jointly to make SoC test application more efficient with low hardware overhead added.The proposed union test technique is applied to an academic SoC embedded by six large ISCAS'89 benchmarks,and to an ITC' 02 benchmark circuit.Experiment results show that compared with the existing schemes in which a core test set is compressed and applied independently of other cores,the proposed scheme can not only improve test data compression/decompression,but also reduce the redundant shift and capture cycles during scan testing,decreasing SoC test application time effectively.展开更多

For accurate identification, an approach using common patterns call...Network application identification is one of the core elements in network operations and management to provide enhanced network service and security. For accurate identification, an approach using common patterns called "signatures" is widely used to compensate the limitations of the traditional transport-layer port-based classification. However, our simulation results indicate that using the signatures generated from a set of well known algorithms may lead to very poor identification performance, with less than 60% of true positives even in an optimal case. To improve the quality of signatures, we present a technique in this paper, which consists of two steps:(i) pairwise merging to consider every possible combination of the initially collected signatures to reduce their specificity that causes the signatures to be less common;and (ii) signature reduction to identify effective signatures with greater importance from a large set of signatures produced in the merging step, so as to manage the space/time complexity in the identification process for greater scalability. Our experimental results show that the proposed technique can dramatically improve the performance, even with a small number of signatures (e.g., 95% true positives rate with 30 signatures per application) which is more compact than the initial signature set.展开更多
Recently, there has been substantial interest in the large-scale synthesis of hierarchically architectured transition metal dichalcogenides and designing electrodes for energy conversion and storage applications such ...Recently, there has been substantial interest in the large-scale synthesis of hierarchically architectured transition metal dichalcogenides and designing electrodes for energy conversion and storage applications such as electrocatalysis, rechargeable batteries, and supercapacitors. Here we report a novel hybrid laser-assisted micro/nanopatterning and sulfurization method for rapid manufacturing of hierarchically architectured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) layers directly on molybdenum sheets. This laser surface structuring not only provides the ability to design specific micro/nanostructured patterns but also significantly enhances the crystal growth kinetics. Micro and nanoscale characterization methods are employed to study the morphological, structural, and atomistic characteristics of the formed crystals at various laser processing and crystal growth conditions. To compare the performance characteristics of the laser-structured and unstructured samples, Li-ion battery cells are fabricated and their energy storage capacity is measured. The hierarchically architectured MoS2 crystals show higher performance with specific capacities of about 10 mAh cm-2, at a current rate of 0.1 mA cm-2. This rapid laser patterning and growth of 2D materials directly on conductive sheets may enable the future large-scale and roll-to-roll manufacturing of energy and sensing devices.展开更多

To improve the quality of signatures, we present a technique in this paper, which consists of two steps:(i) pairwise merging to consider every possible combination of the initially collected signatures to reduce their specificity that causes the signatures to be less common;and (ii) signature reduction to identify effective signatures with greater importance from a large set of signatures produced in the merging step, so as to manage the space/time complexity in the identification process for greater scalability. Our experimental results show that the proposed technique can dramatically improve the performance, even with a small number of signatures (e.g., 95% true positives rate with 30 signatures per application) which is more compact than the initial signature set.

文摘Recently, there has been substantial interest in the large-scale synthesis of hierarchically architectured transition metal dichalcogenides and designing electrodes for energy conversion and storage applications such as electrocatalysis, rechargeable batteries, and supercapacitors. Here we report a novel hybrid laser-assisted micro/nanopatterning and sulfurization method for rapid manufacturing of hierarchically architectured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) layers directly on molybdenum sheets. This laser surface structuring not only provides the ability to design specific micro/nanostructured patterns but also significantly enhances the crystal growth kinetics. Micro and nanoscale characterization methods are employed to study the morphological, structural, and atomistic characteristics of the formed crystals at various laser processing and crystal growth conditions. To compare the performance characteristics of the laser-structured and unstructured samples, Li-ion battery cells are fabricated and their energy storage capacity is measured. The hierarchically architectured MoS2 crystals show higher performance with specific capacities of about 10 mAh cm-2, at a current rate of 0.1 mA cm-2. This rapid laser patterning and growth of 2D materials directly on conductive sheets may enable the future large-scale and roll-to-roll manufacturing of energy and sensing devices.

文摘In order to understand the travel characteristics and behavior patterns of women in Wangjing area and explore whether the existing situation can meet women's needs for the use of street space,the area around Wangjing South Station of Metro Line 14 was taken as an example for analysis and research.Wangjing area was classified to the following six use attributes:company enterprise,transportation hub,education and culture,residential area,municipal facilities,leisure and entertainment.The proportion of each use attribute was evaluated according to four levels:A 25%and above(including 25%),B 15%-25%,C 15%-5%,D 5%and below(including 5%).Finally,whether the plot had composite functions was judged,and the spatio-temporal laws and behavior patterns of surrounding women were analyzed from the perspectives of time and space.

文摘In this paper, we conduct research on the emergency response mechanism and applications on the coastal communities storm disaster management. Investment of pre-disaster prevention and the post-disaster remedy is larger in emergency in the financial system that has been structural problems, although in a disaster and financial support is especially important after a disaster, but increase before preventive investment should be the focus of our general government. Before preventive emergency government investment is to prevent incident broke out and reduce the incident after the outbreak of the impact of the main means. Under these circumstances, we analyze the coastal communities storm disaster management mode with the integration of the enhanced emergency response mechanism that will be meaningful for promoting the management efficiency and effectiveness.
文摘objective： to analyze the application value of the PBL in the surgical experimental teaching mode. Methods： choose between September 2013 and September 2013 128 clinical professional students, average by using the lottery will be divided into control group and the team, every 64 students for 1 set, in surgical experimental teaching as a research courses, the teaching methods for the traditional teaching method in the control group, while the team gives PBL teaching mode, the teaching effect of the final will be two groups of students are analyzed and compared. Results： through different teaching methods for teaching, compared with control group, the group at the student＇s test scores, and the ability to significantly higher, the difference of both P 〈 0.05, there is statistically significant. Conclusion： using PBL teaching mode in the surgical experimental teaching effect is remarkable, can promote the students＇ comprehensive ability and is worth popularizing application.
