Aiming at the high computational complexity and low efficiency of the advanced residual prediction(ARP)algorithm in 3 dimension high-efficiency video coding(3D-HEVC),the relationship between the depth value and ARP is...Aiming at the high computational complexity and low efficiency of the advanced residual prediction(ARP)algorithm in 3 dimension high-efficiency video coding(3D-HEVC),the relationship between the depth value and ARP is analyzed.A fast ARP algorithm based on the depth value is proposed,which is implemented on the reconfigurable array processor developed by the project team.It uses a reconfigurable method to realize flexible switching between interview-ARP and tem-poral ARP.Experimental results show that while keeping the coding rate and the peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)basically unchanged,the coding time of the six test sequences is reduced by 16.21%on average compared with HTM16.1.In contrast with non-reconfiguration,the average coding time is reduced by 52%,so the computational efficiency is improved.展开更多

The results show that the spatial distribution structure of filamentous bacteria in activated sludge has high self similarity in statistics and the filamentous bacteria have clear phenomenon of fractal growth. The critical fractal dimension values of filamentous bacteria bulking such as Eikelboom 021N, Eikelboom 1701, Sphaerotilus natans and Eikelboom 0041 are determined initially. The fractal dimensions can be taken as a parameter to describe filamentous bacteria of activated sludge quantitatively and bring to light the disorder in appearance and the rule in inherence of filamentous bacteria system.展开更多

"Determining all possible weight hierarchies of general linear codes" is a basic theoretical issue and has important scientific significance in communication system.However,it is impossible for g-ary linear codes of dimension k when q and k are slightly larger,then a reasonable formulation of the problem is modified as: "Determine almost all weight hierarchies of general g-ary linear codes of dimension k".In this paper,based on the finite projective geometry method,the authors study g-ary linear codes of dimension 5 in class IV,and find new necessary conditions of their weight hierarchies,and classify their weight hierarchies into6 subclasses.The authors also develop and improve the method of the subspace set,thus determine almost all weight hierarchies of 5-dimensional linear codes in class IV.It opens the way to determine the weight hierarchies of the rest two of 5-dimensional codes(classes III and VI),and break through the difficulties.Furthermore,the new necessary conditions show that original necessary conditions of the weight hierarchies of k-dimensional codes were not enough(not most tight nor best),so,it is important to excogitate further new necessary conditions for attacking and solving the fc-dimensional problem.展开更多

There are high signal propagation delays, high error rate, bandwidth variation and time-variety in NGSh In order to adapt to various space communication environment constraints and bandwidth variation, we propose a reduced dimension scalable video coding scheme based on CCSDS IDCS algorithm and quality of service (QoS) control method by cross layer design (CLD). The experimental result shows that this new method has better performance than that of existing algorithms, and can be adaptive to the bandwidth variation dynamically.展开更多
