Motion In-Betweening via Frequency-Domain Diffusion Model

Human motion modeling is a core technology in computer animation,game development,and humancomputer interaction.In particular,generating natural and coherent in-between motion using only the initial and terminal frames remains a fundamental yet unresolved challenge.Existing methods typically rely on dense keyframe inputs or complex prior structures,making it difficult to balance motion quality and plausibility under conditions such as sparse constraints,long-term dependencies,and diverse motion styles.To address this,we propose a motion generation framework based on a frequency-domain diffusion model,which aims to better model complex motion distributions and enhance generation stability under sparse conditions.Our method maps motion sequences to the frequency domain via the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT),enabling more effective modeling of low-frequency motion structures while suppressing high-frequency noise.A denoising network based on self-attention is introduced to capture long-range temporal dependencies and improve global structural awareness.Additionally,a multi-objective loss function is employed to jointly optimize motion smoothness,pose diversity,and anatomical consistency,enhancing the realism and physical plausibility of the generated sequences.Comparative experiments on the Human3.6M and LaFAN1 datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches across multiple performance metrics,showing stronger capabilities in generating intermediate motion frames.This research offers a new perspective and methodology for human motion generation and holds promise for applications in character animation,game development,and virtual interaction. 展开更多

This report (XII) gives the drift-diffusion theory. Both treat 1-gate and 2-gate, pure-base and impure-base, and thin and thick base. Both utilize the surface and bulk potentials as the parametric variables to couple the voltage and current equations. In the present drift-diffusion theory, the very many current terms are identified by their mobility multiplier for the components of drift current,and the diffusivity multiplier for the components of the diffusion current. Complete analytical driftdiffusion equations are presented to give the DC current-voltage characteristics of four common MOS transistor structures. The drift current consists of four terms: 1-D (One-Dimensional) bulk charge drift term, 1-D carrier space-charge drift term,l-D Ex^2 (transverse electric field) drift term,2-D drift term. The diffusion current consists of three terms: 1-D bulk charge diffusion term,l-D carrier space-charge diffusion term,and 2-D diffusion term. The 1-D Ex^2 drift term was missed by all the existing transistor theories, and contributes significantly, as much as 25 % of the total current when the base layer is nearly pure. The 2-D terms come from longitudinal gradient of the longitudinal electric field,which scales as the square of the Debye to Channel length ratio, at 25nm channel length with nearly pure base, (LD/L)^2 = 10^6 but with impurity concentration of 10^18cm^-3 , (LD/L)^2 = 10^-2 . 展开更多

This paper applies the Debye-Hückel-Onsager electrolyte solution theory to investigate the diffusivity of ions in concrete pore solutions.First,a model of the diffusion coefficient associated with the ionic species,solution concentration and ambient temperature is proposed in the saturated concrete.Secondly,as an example,the effects of sodium chloride solution concentration,which are associated with influencing factors such as the ionic cloud radius,electrophoresis and relaxation,on the chloride diffusion coefficient are analyzed.It is found that the diffusion coefficient decreases with the increase in solution concentration,and the electrophoresis and ionic cloud radius are two important factors influencing the ionic diffusivity.Finally,the experiments,in which the chloride diffusion coefficients in specimens under different water-cement ratios are measured by the rapid chloride migration(RCM)method,are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model,and the results indicate that there is a generally reasonable agreement between the experimental and the proposed model results. 展开更多

This paper gives the short channel analytical theory of the bipolar field-effect transistor (BiFET) with the drift and diffusion currents separately computed in the analytical theory. As in the last-month paper which represented the drift and diffusion current by the single electrochemical (potential-gradient) current, the two-dimensional transistor is partitioned into two sections, the source and drain sections, each can operate as the electron or hole emitter or collector under specific combinations of applied terminal voltages. Analytical solution is then obtained in the source and drain sections by separating the two-dimensional trap-free Shockley Equations into two one-dimensional equations parametrically coupled via the surface-electric-potential and by using electron current continuity and hole current continuity at the boundary between the emitter and collector sections. Total and the drift and diffusion components of the electron-channel and hole-channel currents and output and transfer conductances, and the electrical lengths of the two sections are computed and presented in graphs as a function of the D. C. terminal voltages for the model transistor with two identical and connected metal-oxide-silicon-gates (MOS-gates) on a thin pure-silicon base over practical ranges of thicknesses of the silicon base and gate oxide. Analytical solution is obtained by partitioning the two-dimensional transistor into two one-dimensional problems coupled by the parametric sur- face-electric-potential. Total and component output and transfer currents and conductances versus D. C. voltages from the drift-diffusion theory, and their deviations from the electrochemical (quasi-Fermi) potential-gradient theory,are presented over practical ranges of thicknesses of the silicon base and gate oxide. 岩性识别是油气资源勘查开发过程中的关键步骤之一.目前,利用深度学习技术进行测井岩性识别能够显著提高识别速度和准确率,然而,由于测井数据集经常存在数据量不足和岩性类别分布不均衡等问题,神经网络在训练过程中容易出现过拟合现象,... 岩性识别是油气资源勘查开发过程中的关键步骤之一.目前,利用深度学习技术进行测井岩性识别能够显著提高识别速度和准确率,然而,由于测井数据集经常存在数据量不足和岩性类别分布不均衡等问题,神经网络在训练过程中容易出现过拟合现象,导致模型的准确率降低.为了解决这些问题,本文提出一种基于扩散概率模型的岩性识别模型LogDiffusion,该模型能够生成高质量的测井数据并用于训练,从而提升岩性识别的分类准确率.在传统的扩散概率模型的基础上,考虑到测井数据的一维结构,本文设计了一种用于估计梯度的分数网络FT-Unet,并提出了一种辅助分类器FT-Transformer以获取准确的岩性标签.此外,还提出了一种基于阈值的动态标签机制以提高采样算法的准确性.在两个小样本盲井测井数据集上的实验结果表明,该方法能够一定程度上解决测井数据集数据量不足和岩性类别分布不均衡的问题,从而提升岩性识别的准确率和精度. 展开更多

Cloud manufacturing is a specific implementation form of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy. Why and how to develop cloud manufacturing platform(CMP), however, remains the key concern of both platform operators and users. A microscopic model is proposed to investigate advantages and diffusion forces of CMP through exploration of its diffusion process and mechanism. Specifically, a three-stage basic evolution process of CMP is innovatively proposed. Then, based on this basic process, a more complex CMP evolution model has been established in virtue of complex network theory, with five diffusion forces identified. Thereafter, simulations on CMP diffusion have been conducted. The results indicate that, CMP possesses better resource utilization,user satisfaction, and enterprise utility. Results of simulation on impacts of different diffusion forces show that both the time required for CMP to reach an equilibrium state and the final network size are affected simultaneously by the five diffusion forces. All these analyses indicate that CMP could create an open online cooperation environment and turns out to be an effective implementation of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy. 展开更多

Assessment of meteorological disasters based on information diffusion theory in Xinjiang, Northwest China 被引量:9

Data of flood, drought, hailstorms, and low temperature events in Xinjiang from 1949 to 2012 were analyzed with the diffusion method to assess the risk of the most common types of disasters in Xinjiang. It was proved that the frequency and intensity of meteorological disasters of the study area showed an increasing trend associated with global warming. Among the four types of disasters, surpass probability of drought was the largest, followed by hailstorm, low temperature and flood in turn. Moreover, the wavelet method analysis revealed that greater oscillations had occurred since 2000, which may be associated with the occurrence of extreme climatic changes. The spatial distribution of frequencies reveals that the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains is a multiple disaster area, the southern slope of Tianshan is the area where more floods and hailstorms occur, and the west of Turpan-Hami Basin is the area wind is prevalent. The relationships between disaster-affected areas and corresponding meteorological and socio-economic indexes were also analyzed. It indicated that there were significant positive correlations between the areas affected and the most meteorological and socio-economic indicators except the grain acreage. 展开更多

Time-dependent diffusion coefficient and conventional diffusion constant are calculated and analyzed to study diffusion of nanoparticles in polymer melts. A generalized Langevin equa- tion is adopted to describe the diffusion dynamics. Mode-coupling theory is employed to calculate the memory kernel of friction. For simplicity, only microscopic terms arising from binary collision and coupling to the solvent density fluctuation are included in the formalism. The equilibrium structural information functions of the polymer nanocomposites required by mode-coupling theory are calculated on the basis of polymer reference interaction site model with Percus-Yevick closure. The effect of nanoparticle size and that of the polymer size are clarified explicitly. The structural functions, the friction kernel, as well as the diffusion coefficient show a rich variety with varying nanoparticle radius and polymer chain length. We find that for small nanoparticles or short chain polymers, the characteristic short time non-Markov diffusion dynamics becomes more prominent, and the diffusion coefficient takes longer time to approach asymptotically the conventional diffusion constant. This constant due to the microscopic contributions will decrease with the increase of nanoparticle size, while increase with polymer size. Furthermore, our result of diffusion constant from mode- coupling theory is compared with the value predicted from the Stokes-Einstein relation. It shows that the microscopic contributions to the diffusion constant are dominant for small nanoparticles or long chain polymers. Inversely, when nanonparticle is big, or polymer chain is short, the hydrodynamic contribution might play a significant role. 展开更多

The term of heat absorption/generation is incorporated in the mathematical modeling of present flow problem. The governing mathematical expressions are solved for velocity and temperature profiles using RKF 45 method along with shooting technique. The importance of arising nonlinear quantities namely velocity, temperature, skin-friction and temperature gradient are elaborated via plots. It is explored that the Casson parameter retarded the liquid velocity while it enhances the fluid temperature. Fhrther, we noted that temperature and thickness of temperature boundary layer are weaker in case of Cattaneo-Christov heat diffusion model when matched with the profiles obtained for Fourier's theory of heat flux. 展开更多

Coal seam gas content is frequently measured in quantity during underground coal mining operation and coalbed methane(CBM)exploration as a significant basic parameter.Due to the calculation error of lost gas and residual gas in the direct method,the efficiency and accuracy of the current methods are not inadequate to the large area multi-point measurement of coal seam gas content.This paper firstly deduces a simplified theoretical dynamic model for calculating lost gas based on gas dynamic diffusion theory.Secondly,the effects of various factors on gas dynamic diffusion from coal particle are experimentally studied.And sampling procedure of representative coal particle is improved.Thirdly,a new estimation method of residual gas content based on excess adsorption and competitive adsorption theory is proposed.The results showed that the maximum error of calculating the losing gas content by using the new simplified model is only 4%.Considering the influence of particle size on gas diffusion law,the particle size of the collected coal sample is below 0.25 mm,which improves the measurement speed and reflects the safety representativeness of the sample.The determination time of gas content reduced from 36 to 3 h/piece.Moreover,the absolute error is 0.15–0.50 m^3/t,and the relative error is within 5%.A new engineering method for determining the coal seam gas content is developed according to the above research. 展开更多

A nanofluid is composed of a base fluid component and nanoparticles, in which the nanoparticles are dispersed in the base fluid. The addition of nanoparticles into a base fluid can remarkably improve the thermal conductivity of the nanofluid, and such an increment of thermal conductivity can play an important role in improving the heat transfer rate of the base fluid. Further, the dynamics of non-Newtonian fluids along with nanoparticles is quite interesting with numerous industrial applications. The present predominately predictive modeling studies the flow of the viscoelastic Oldroyd-B fluid over a rotating disk in the presence of nanoparticles. A progressive amendment in the heat and concentration equations is made by exploiting the Cattaneo-Christov heat and mass flux expressions. The characteristic of the Lorentz force due to the magnetic field applied normal to the disk is studied. The Buongiorno model together with the Cattaneo-Christov theory is implemented in the Oldroyd-B nanofluid flow to investigate the heat and mass transport mechanism. This theory predicts the characteristics of the fluid thermal and solutal relaxation time on the boundary layer flow. The von K′arm′an similarity functions are utilized to convert the partial differential equations(PDEs) into ordinary differential equations(ODEs). A homotopic approach for obtaining the analytical solutions to the governing nonlinear problem is carried out. The graphical results are obtained for the velocity field, temperature, and concentration distributions. Comparisons are made for a limiting case between the numerical and analytical solutions, and the results are found in good agreement. The results reveal that the thermal and solutal relaxation time parameters diminish the temperature and concentration distributions, respectively. The axial flow decreases in the downward direction for higher values of the retardation time parameter. The impact of the thermophoresis parameter boosts the temperature distribution. 展开更多

The internal structures as well as adsorption and hopping energies of monomers, dimers, trimers, tetramers, pentamers and hexamers of water on Pd(111) have been studied by density functional theory (DFT) plane-wave pseudopotential method which performs the firstprinciples quantum-mechanical calculations to explore the properties of crystals and surfaces in materials. Based on the calculations, we suppose that their absorption is via one water molecule for monomers, dimmers and trimers, but three water molecules for pentamers and hexamers. Moreover, there is one water molecule bonding with Pd atom by O atom in pentamers and hexamers, which explains why pentamers and hexamers are stable. Study on cracking of welding overlay based on the theory of diffusion-induced stress

The formula of diffusion-induced stress was deduced for model of the thin walled cylinder. Distribution of diffusion-induced stress in the wall of hydrogenation reactor was studied. The results showed that the maximum stress was at the fusion surface between welding overlay and base metal and which would increase with cooling rate. The crack will initiate and propagate from fusion surface to welding overlay when the diffusion-induced stress is higher than yield stress, but it will not propagate to the base metal. Diffusion-induced stress is one of the important factors for crack initiation and propagation of welding overlay of hydrogenation reactor. 展开更多

Some New Features of Linear Theory for Describing Non-linear Diffusion

The non-linear flux equation, the non-linear Fokker-Planck equation (or Smoluchowski equation), and the non-linear Langiven equation are the basic equations for describing particle diffusion in non-ideal system subjected to time-dependent external fields. Nevertheless, the exact solution of those equations is still a challenge because of their inherent complexity of the non-linear mathematics. Li et al. found that, based on the defined apparent variables, the nonlinear Fokker-Planck equation and the non-linear flux equation could be transformed to linear forms under the condition of strong friction limit or loeal equilibrium assumption. In this paper, some new features of the theory were found: (i) The linear flux equation for describing non-linear diffusion can be obtained from the irreversible thermodynamic theory; (ii) The linear non-steady state diffusion equation for describing non-linear diffusion of the non-steady state, which was described by the non-linear Fokker-Planek equation, can be derived more consistently from the microscopic molecular statistical theory; (iii) In the theory, the non-linear Langiven equation also bears a linear form; (iv) For some special cases, e.g. diffusion in a periodic total potential system, the local equilibrium assumption or the strong friction limit is not required in establishing the linear theory for describing non-linear diffusion, so the linear theory may be important in the study of Brown motor. 展开更多

Assessment of Agricultural Drought Risk in the Sichuan Basin Based on Information Diffusion Theory

Based on data of agricultural drought situation and sown area of main crops in each county or district of the Sichuan Basin, the spatial distribution and probability of agricultural drought risk at different risk levels were studied using normal information diffusion method, and the risk zoning was carried out. The results showed that normal information diffusion method could fit the distribution of agricultural drought risk in the Sichuan Basin. By comparison with the end of the 20^th century, agricultural drought risk in Meishan, Chongqing City and so on increased at the beginning of the 21^st century when x1≥ 10% or x1≥40%. Agricultural drought risk was low in the west of the Sichuan Basin, which was related to rich precipitation here, but it was high in Bazhong, Zhongjiang, Luxian and so forth. The risk zoning results can provide scientific references for disaster prevention and emergency management of government. 展开更多
